99.9% of people adopting the new version are not going to know what is in that new library or how it operates.
I lack the technical knowledge to give you an answer to all your other questions, but this sentence caught my attention. I just would like to say this: 99,9% of the people already have to believe every other piece of code of bitcoin because they (me too) lack the skills to review it themselves. This, in my opinion, is one of the biggest hurdles for bitcoin technology to overcome.

Can bitcoin for example live on another physical network completely disconnected from the internet we now know? Let's say we bring bitcoin to a colony on mars and there is a latency free connection possible but it costs too much to have a connection live all the time.
Can we then just send the blockchain from mars to earth and visa versa just once in a year for example? Or would the blockchain be broken?
My gut is saying it is possible, but it introduces a trust factor you should not want. Blocks should be solved every 10 minutes, not every year.
Or do I miss something?

When's the next wave down you think?
Right now Already sold Buy orders just above 200 I shorted again at 255. I just need to figure out where to close it. They can easily rip through 230 with very little effort Bids look 1/2 of what they were a few hours ago so this doesn't lookk good at all I wonder how many longs were squeezed

Crap! All the bulls are children.... What is FindFTP? 5?
Gee man, don't take me so serious. I try to cheer it the fuck up over here with my useless images and nonsense talk. If you don't like it, please ignore me. If you love it, donate. Besides, what else would you expect in this thread? You say what I want to hear so I naturally assumed you were some wise guy with a white beard, an oracle of some kind. lol Thanks, I like the oracle part. Might dream about it tonight.

It's incredible how the chart of the last few days looks like a typical Bitcoin bubble cycle! The resemblance is uncanny. People have been calling out the fractal nature of Bitcoin's price before, and it's incredible each time!
Yep, it surely is. You know what it means for the next 24 hours?

Message to the whales: Please: Otherwise I have to cut my loose.

In case you haven't noticed, Stamp is dieing. Anyone making decisions based on Stamps order book has gone full retard.
Totally agree. After the close beginning of january the orderbook vanished. You can better look at bitfinex if you ask me. Yes, at least they admit that they are insider trading, stop-hunting and front running over there Do you have a reference for that? I'm assuming he means thisWell, I read it and I'm not suprised. I'm convinced that every exchange is doing it, upper or lower level people. What do you think when you're a relatively low paid system/database administrator? You must be very mentally strong to ignore such a wealth of information. He however is a moron/hero for admitting it. Every single trader would use this information when it was available for free. If you don't like it, don't trade on such an exchange or start your own exchange with transparency on all levels. I will trade there... Are these P2P exchanges aiming on such a platform?
