5861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Official FutureBit Moonlander 2 Driver and Support Thread on: September 09, 2020, 07:44:49 PM
well the moonlander did not make it long - I came home to find the usb part still plugged in but the rest of the miner on the ground - it fell apart Sad

is this fixable with solder? or is it just garbage now?

Umm how the hell did that happen? Impossible for it to just fall off without someone smashing into it while its plugged in.

it was on a laptop usb port that was sitting in the middle of a table so the stick was hanging out of the usb port horizontally but was also only 1/2" off the table top so no one really could run into it.  All I can figure is the weight of it was too much - it was like that for a few weeks before it snapped off.

I will try and repair it and put it in a usb hub that holds it upright.
5862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - New algo is online! on: September 09, 2020, 06:46:31 PM
Dear Devteam!

Is there any news about BTX GPU miner announcement? Now is more than a week past after BTX algo switched. Build-in miner is very slow. How can we support the project if we have no enough posibilities?

agreed - I have gotten a whole 7 blocks since 9/2
5863  Economy / Collectibles / Re: PSA: Sweeping +Snagging Forks from Physicals via a Ballet Card A+++ on: September 09, 2020, 11:57:01 AM
Thank you for sharing! And yes, the ballet wallets make it very simple. I have swept some minor coins and used a ballet as well. One was a pre-fork satori and it did work like a charm.

Of course, you just need a USB A-type male plug:

Anyone know what ‘ Cancelled ‘ means as opposed to ‘regular’ ? TIA

Are you referring to CTO?

Cancelled To Order

A cancelled to order (also called and abbreviated CTO) postage stamp is a stamp the issuing postal service has cancelled (marked as used), but has not traveled through the post, but instead get handed back to a stamp collector or dealer.

Why would someone want this done to their stamp instead of getting it new?

Thanks in advance!

I did it just to have two that were not the same lol - I saw people do them with the CS2 stamps as well.

5869  Other / Off-topic / Re: 10 BTC Casascius peeled and redeemed yesterday on: September 08, 2020, 08:54:04 PM
I cannot imagine peeling and redeeming that much at one time.

What about it is unimaginable? Do you find the act of redeeming scary as if a mistake could be made and the coins would be lost, or is it handling and transacting with multiple BTC that is intimidating?

just the idea of ruining that valuable of a collectible of course Smiley I am betting they could have sold it for much more than the redemption.

As for the BTC and the USD value of it - I am not like many of the deep pocketed folks that are here - It would take me a year to have that much BTC.

fat fingered the submit - I cannot imagine peeling and redeeming that much at one time. Years ago, yes but today? I might see 10 btc in a whole year let alone a single moment.

that moves you to list 1 Mitchell Smiley
Alright, payment has been sent for two holders shipped to MJ please.

Will message you with the actual payment details.

thank you!

I too will send payment before end of week. Thanks

sounds good! will have 1 gold and 1 black set aside for you.

I received a payment with no DM or message here - if you paid and forgot to send me your txn id, please do and include your address Smiley

got it sorted - thanks!

update - picked up enough for almost 3/4 of the orders -- will start packaging them tomorrow. More screws ordered (Amazon says 2 days) had enough for 25 so needed more.

update - 18 are done now. and there is enough acrylic to make 17 more at present - have to order and get more black for the inserts but should have that in 1 or 2 days. So, I will be moving everyone currently on list 2 to list 1.

will be producing 40 with black insert and 1 with gold insert.

the quantities are changing as my buddy who is doing the cutting has found a better layout so is now able to make 1.5 cases from each sheet which resulted in nearly 50% more cases plus with some extra acrylic they shipped - 24 were ordered and 28 were received.

Alright, just let me know once you know more. Wink

try using https://imgbb.com/

upload - set it to "dont autodelete" then under embed codes, select "BBCode full linked" then just copy the link it provides.

for the resizing:

No, size is too big
Can resize or use the "width" tool.. I'm not sure though how to do that

Yes, but the size still needs to be small enough to display regardless of what site it is uploaded to

yes - I added that part as well.

see this link for resizing - I tried to add the code first but it was giving me issues trying to display images and such.  in the post below, he used imgr - but the resize part works with other sites as well

I will add you to list 2 - if by this weekend people who are on list one who have not paid or have changed their mind, I will proceed to offer their cases to those in list 2.  We also got some extra acrylic in so will be able to produce more than 24, how many more? not sure as I hate to give definite numbers as we may use the extra acrylic if a piece gets cut wrong or if a piece breaks or for any other unforseen issue that we have to produce a replacement piece.
Alright, just let me know once you know more. Wink

will do!

and btw guys - if you want and if you can, use the lowest fee setting you can, I just need to know the payment is on the way, so save yourself some sats Smiley This is just so I know your interest is still in getting one of the cases as we have quite a few guys on stand by waiting for a second batch.
5879  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Sale] acrylic double card holder for ColdKey halving edition on: September 08, 2020, 01:20:49 PM
I would like to order two acrylic cases with black inserts. Do you have spots left? Smiley
