5861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins will grow in price faster if the market recovers? on: March 28, 2020, 12:29:26 AM
It is better to stay away from altcoins for now and to accumulate or buy more Bitcoin before the halving. If you still want to invest in altcoins then you should invest in ETH and LINK. The chances of these two coins to explode is very high when the next Bull run arrives. They both have been consistently performing in Bear market.
5862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: March 28, 2020, 12:26:18 AM
I am still holding Bitcoin, BAT and ETH. I had few BNB but sold them when the lockdown was announced in my country. I am still accumulating ETH and Bitcoin at the moment and I hope to continue doing it till the halving.
5863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 28, 2020, 12:23:12 AM
Well, let's just stop worrying about the delay, and let's just hope that it actually takes place in some time in future. Sad
Or let's just hope that everything goes back to normal as soon as possible. We really do not want to keep going like this for the next one or two months or even three+ months. No one really knows which direction we are going in this pandemic situation.

The situation is getting worse with every passing day. We still have another 4 days to go in this month, and the total number of infected people have hit the 560,000 mark. For comparison, one month ago the figure was 86,604 (on February 29). That means that the infection rate has increased by more than 6 times. What if the situation continues next month, with another 6x rise in the infections? I am getting really skeptical about the situation.

There is no doubt that things are getting worst day by day. The number of people infected by this deadly virus has risen sharply. Not to forget the PM of United Kingdom is now infected too. USA has already crossed the 100k mar and in India it is also looking bad. We can only pray for those who losing this battle and who have already lost and stay indoors.

We are now too helpless and miserable. All thanks to China and the delay by world leaders to assess the gravity of this situation.
5864  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Face Lift for Cryptowisser.com! (Feedback Wanted) on: March 27, 2020, 11:33:24 PM
Your website certainly looks more refreshing than the old one. It has a very simple and easy to understand user interface and the color are not hurting the eyes.

The exchange listing is pretty much  non convincing because non of them look like trusted exchanges.i have never heard about them. You need to look into that aspect.

Logo could have been more professional. Overall it is better than the previous version.
5865  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: March 27, 2020, 11:16:33 PM
This not a normal situation, everyday 1000 of people are losing their lives. News media is constantly reminding everyone about the miserable situation they are into. People will panic, you cannot stop it.

Then again you, me and most of us here are in lockdown that is another reason for everyone going crazy.

You can only advise everyone not panic but no one is interested in your advise. It is their money and they know what is good for them. Surely when things become normal they might realise their mistake.
5866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 27, 2020, 03:14:26 PM
I say we forget about sports this year as this virus is not going to leave soon.

We need to stick together to defeat this virus until a vaccine is invented. The only way we can defeat this virus is by staying indoors and breaking the chain.

I agree with @amishmanish,

Quote
what we actually need to do is to make your family, colony and locality pass atleast 14 days indoors. If nobody shows any symptoms then you can assume that your own little island is virus-free.

If we are able to secure our little island we then can secure our country.
5867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: March 27, 2020, 06:44:03 AM
The max you will get in a genuine airdrop is $5. Unfortunately that amount has now reduced a lot because of the current state of crypto market . It is better to concentrate on genuine Bounty projects than airdrops. I personally prefer signature bounty above all kind of bounties.
5868  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Privacy in Bitcoin on: March 27, 2020, 06:25:54 AM
Bitcoin transactions are transparent to all users while providing some sort of privacy because it's no easy to know which address belongs to who unless they let you know or that person involved in KYC which was not aimed. Blockchain aimed  to go anonymous so people would have freedom financially
Privacy provides freedom, but Countries citizen fight against freedom of speech and forgot that speech will not give wealth financially, We Are and must fight against financial freedom in a modern way as Blockchain do until we all involve in Bitcoin and general cryptocurrencies.

I guess Bitcoin is the symbol of decentralization rather than privacy. It represents community rather a centralized control. It was never meant to oromote privacy.

This is why we have coins that are only for privacy purpose. If you are looking for privacy then you should invest in monero and other privacy centric coin.

Women IPL may start from 2021. Just read an article wherein Mithali Raj urges BCCI to start women's IPL from 2021. I do not know how successful women IPL will be but, it will open up numerous opportunities in women cricket.

5872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: March 27, 2020, 01:39:29 AM
As you may know, casinos all over the United States and the world have begun closing their doors to slow down the spread of the Coronavirus. While this has taken a financial toll on casinos, cafes, restaurants and hotels, etc, it has put the kibosh on problem gambling or at least made a serious dent in the lives of hopeless gambling addicts.

What will most gambling addicts do when they can no longer gamble at casinos, and what do you think they'll do when the casinos reopen in several months from now? Will most of them be finally cured of their gambling addiction, or will most of them return to their old ways?

They will find other options to satisfy their addictions. Some will use online casinos others will shift to dri king and other stuff. An addiction is addiction you will do something or the other to satisfy it.

Well, some might say this is the best time to lose addiction but, it is the worst time as you might get addicted to other addiction to move your mind from gambling.
5873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: March 26, 2020, 06:23:59 AM
I voted for ETH as you there are only two coins for voting. I trust Bitcoin than any other coin listed on CMC. The second most trustrable coin for me is ETH and then comes BNB. Anytime I would consider ETH over BNB as I feel BNB is more centralized than ETH.
5874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: March 26, 2020, 06:07:16 AM
Bounty campaign is a good way for projects to spread the word and gain publicity in the cryptocurrency market. But it is not the best way to gain investors. Good projects don't depend on bounties alone to promote their token sale.
And this is because when bounty hunters post about a project, majority of these posts is only seen by other bounty hunters and not to the real investors. And these posts are just basic and can not convince good investors to invest.
Bringing in the investors and funds depends on the team's marketing ability and their ability to close deals. This is why good projects attend a lot of crypto events and network with people.
Though bounties help a project to create popularity and hype among crypto users, the main investment and funds is brought in by the team's marketing and closing ability.

Actually I think bounties now days are a waste for both hunters and startup. Social media bounties do not add any value to the project. Content bounty are enough to create hype and buzz. Signature bounties are the best way to market your projects as most investors are present on BTT.

Hunters on the other hand are not getting paid well and sometimes not getting paid at all.

5875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 26, 2020, 03:02:28 AM
That was the time when Pakistan had really very good fast bowlers and who were one of the best in the world. As the years pass by once all this legendry retired then we dint had many who were there for a long time. Many came and gone for short duration but not like who had served the country for 10 years or so. Shoaib was one of them who was very quick and did well for his country.

Reverse swing was first invented by Pakistani pace bowlers during the 1990s (especially Wasim Akram, Aaquib Javed, Waqar Younis and Mudassar Nazar). It took more than a decade for the other players to learn this trick. And this gave them a huge advantage during that time, as the other bowlers (who depended more on seam, rather than swing) struggled on flat sub-continental tracks.
Best ever Reverse Swinger was Sarfraz Nawaz he give good tips to Imran Khan and Mudassar Nazar then its shifter to others like Wasim Akram Waqar Younas and Aaqib Jawad now its all around the world its really change concept of fast bowling and bring some good charm for them but now Pakistan is going much behind as they are not bringing good bowlers.

Reverse swing was once a forte of Pakistan cricket team. Till mid 90s they were dominating the cricket world with this concept of bowling. Then came globalization in each 2000 and famous Pakistani bowlers were hired as balling coach, these guys taught other teams this concept. Now except Pakistan all other teams have good bowlers.

This is why you should not reveal your trade sceret.
5876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 26, 2020, 02:58:06 AM
Australia is now in lock down but currently at level 2 so people are still allowed out but only if they need to go to work, grocery shopping and buying medication. With this I do think the T20 world cup will be postponed, the positive is that the Australian summer does last into late March so it could be postponed for early 2021. The football season here has been paused for now and might not start back up again this year but the AFL is hoping to start again but its highly unlikely at the moment.

Forget about sporting events for the next six month or may be end of the year. Things have been made more complicated by these stupid politicians. If correct measure were taken early February by most of the countries situation would have been in control by now.

Brace yourself for another big recession and economic meltdown. These are extra ordinary situation and we need to take extra ordinary measures.

5877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The domain Stake.com is suspended on: March 26, 2020, 02:52:01 AM
So, I just checked the website and it is currently running fine no issue. I checked their forum and found an official announcement about the issue that happened earlier.

There is an official statement on BTT itself you can read it here.

It has been lockdown everywhere and not only in Asian countries, although I do believe that its much harder for the under developed country public to deal with the lockdown situation as compared to the developed world.
Never thought that there could be  time when there would be no cricket anywhere in the universe.

There is no other choice. Countries that ignored the lockdown protocols earlier are paying a heavy price for it. Italy has seen almost 7,000 deaths till now. Spain is catching up, with close to 4,000 deaths. A lot of people in countries with first or second phase of infection have a wrong assumption that the COVID 19 is a relatively harmless disease like the seasonal flu. That is not the case. It is as dangerous as TB or Bronchitis.

The biggest disease in human being is stupidity. Because of stupidity and idiotic approach most developed countries are suffering. Never thought Europe will become the epic center of this deadly virus.

Now, hearing USA on the verge of being the next epic center of this virus. These are those countries that have the best medical facilities.
5879  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC HODLers are getting all the new technologies for free! Why? on: March 25, 2020, 03:56:07 PM
It is a very simple marketing strategy

First Bitcoin holders are the initial believers and scooters of cryptocurrency. Startup will target the existing database rather creating a new.

Second Bitcoin has the largest marketcap which men's more adopters. Creating a marketcap for themselves will be easier if they airdrop the existing Yorkers.

^^ I didn't heard any official statement so far but as of now India is in complete lockdown for 21 days so no one thinking about sport or cricket anymore. 99% chances are "No IPL" this year.
Lockdown for 21 days!
That's very hard for a nation with this large number of population. I can imagine the poor citizens who do not have enough to bring food in their mouth. Is your government doing anything for them? What is their plan for them?

By the way, welcome back.  No IPL will be boring lol

Still lockdown is better than a curfew. In lockdown essential services are still working. By the way if you have not heard in the history of Indian railways this is the first time that all passenger services have been cancelled.
