5281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to escape your problem? on: May 31, 2020, 10:33:50 AM
How can you enjoy gambling if you have problems?

For me gambling is another way to entertain myself from my busy schedule. I do not gamble everyday and when I gamble I do know my limit. I take it as way to get entertained, I have never used it as escapism. If I have an issue in my life I would first try to solve it than gamble my way out of that issue.
5282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jst token and Justin sun on: May 31, 2020, 09:49:14 AM
Is this a stable coin?

Whatever this project is about if it is associated with Justin sun then do not invest in it. All projects related to Justin sun have been a nightmare for investors. They have not generated any kind of returns till dated. In my opinion you should avoid it.
5283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is investing in Burency.io/ burency.com a good idea ??? on: May 31, 2020, 09:15:25 AM
Never heard about this exchange and there is not a lot of stuff about it on Google. I won't rely on Telegram based promotions as half of them are scams. Try contacting Huobi exchange and check with them about their partnership.

Investing in native exchange tokens have been profitable in the past depending on the performance of that exchange, if this exchange is only meant to service middle east then you should invest in it after careful research.
5284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which fastest LN, LTC, Dash? on: May 31, 2020, 08:43:55 AM
24 seconds is a great achievement for Dash. I also thought LN should have won this contest. Is the recover ready to have LN payments as you need that too. Still it is a win win for cryptocurrency as fiat cannot beat that kind of speed.
5285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a list of companies that will hire and pay solely in Bitcoin on: May 31, 2020, 06:51:21 AM
I am looking for companies that will solely pay wages in bitcoin.
The first question for you is the same as what @jackg asked you.
The second question, after finding them, what do you want to do? Applying a job for them?

FYI, actually there have been some countries that legalize the payment salary using Bitcoin such as New Zealand (as the 1st country legalizing), Japan, and others. However, Bitcoin is one of the payments used for salary, mostly not the only payment method to be used.

If the companies are blockchain and crypto-based companies, they may offer the employees with BTC or other cryptos. They are such as:
Quote
  • QuadrigaCX Bitcoin Exchange
  • blockchain.info (proof)
  • BitShares (proof)
  • dana crowdfunding
  • Fairlay - Prediction market
  • Mastercoin Foundation (public ledger)
  • SC5 (blog post)
  • APIcoin
  • Bits of Gold
  • Exodus Wallet (Careers page)
And some others are likely: CoinCorner.

But, for other companies, they may use it as one of the options. Why does? If the companies are not in relation with the crypto world, not all of the employers in the companies know and use BTC. Therefore, this is only one of the options. However, I also read that there are some companies that provide the salary on Bitcoin only or other cryptocurrencies (I do not know whether it has been realized or not yet because, at that time, it is still a plan). They are such as:
1. Purse.io (pay with Bitcoin Cash)
2. Coinality
3. Ethlance (pay with ETH)
4. SC5 (pay in BTC)
5. Spot.IM (pay in BTC)
And many others probably.

purse.io is not more active, they have closed their operation recently.

All big cryptocurrency exchange do give their employees to get either paid in fiat or Bitcoin. You can look into careers page on their websites to see if any job suits your profile. Cryptocurrency based news portals also offer the same.

For small gigs you can check the service announcement board, here is the link - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=84.0
5286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China's new law for protecting CryptoCurrency. on: May 31, 2020, 06:46:28 AM
The problem with China is that it can change the law whenever the CPC thinks it will afect it's existence. Therefore stop believing in China as it has never been transparent with its policy and there is always a hidden agenda behind whatever it does.

5287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 31, 2020, 06:41:13 AM
That is true BCCI needs Gangully more than ICC. He can only bring a lot of positive changes to Indian cricket. Almost every member in BCCI is affiliated to a political party. Politics has ruined the board for a long time and players like Ganguly and others can make a difference to the existing structure.

That's true. Politics is the reason why someone such as Sharad Pawar, with zero skill and experience even managed to become the president of the ICC. Even now, the BCCI is filled with political appointees. Jay Shah is the Secretary of the BCCI, and he happens to be the son of the Indian home minister (Amit Shah). Arun Singh Dhumal is the BCCI treasurer, and he happens to be the brother of Anurag Thakur (Mos Finance). And then we have the TNCA, which is filled with corrupt proxies such as Rupa Gurunath.

It is next to impossible to remove politics from cricket in South asia,  crickets now days have political ambition and every one sitting in the top is some way connected or is affiliated with a political party. BCCI has gone through major shuffling still politics is prevailing no matter what.

^Yeah this schedule is really confusing. Looking at the schedule, all the previous assumptions about IPL seems to be wrong. If BCCI is planning to host IPL in Mid Aug to Sep, I don't think it would go well as planned considering the current scenario in India.

I find everything strange here. IPL can't be held in just 3 months from now when the covid 19 situation is still unclear.
Also ICC should have focused on T20 world cup, instead they are more willing to have India Australia series in that time period.

I totally agree with you, it just doesn't make sense considering that the cases world wide continue to grow and its getting bad in India where the cases have been growing daily. Most Governments thought that it would start to slow down by now but its not so I'm not sure what the ICC will do but the cases here in Australia continue to be under control for now.

You cannot guarantee that it will remain the same in Australia for ever. All countries that confirmed that they have controlled the virus are now facing a fresh new wave of this virus. This means you have to live with it and it is not possible to stop it without a proper vaccine.

That is why India is slowly removing lockdown in a phased manner as it is evident globally this virus is here to stay for a long time. I understand it is very risky to organise sporting events in India at the moment but with proper measures it can be done.

I think it would not happen because some of the institution has said that in some countries in June - July the cases would grow rapidly and need to figure out the role of monsoon. How does it play out and does it make any difference because in many countries during monsoon there are infrastructure problems, water logging etc and thus social distance would not be able to maintain it. There would be many other problems arising during this time and things may not be right till we may have vaccine for it.

Yes, the only answer to this virus is a vaccine, we all know that but you cannot sit in your house for the next 1 or 2 years waiting for it. People have to start living with it those who are following the set of rules will survive but those who are not will perish or suffer.

Economy situation is getting worst day by day, countries like India need economic booster like IPL and other events.

5290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Choice To Stay Longer Online Or Casinos on: May 31, 2020, 04:59:05 AM
I have not been to an actual casino but I have played on online casino and in my experience it is more comfortable and safe than an actual casino. I understand that actual casinos offer a lot of perks but, the same can be also availed through a lot of giveaways and freebies by online casinos.
5291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Information about mobile wallet pls on: May 30, 2020, 03:15:31 PM
If you are looking for multi-cryptocurrency  wallet then you should either go for Exodus wallet or the Atomic wallet. Both are available for Android and iOS. I have been using them for more than a year now and have not faced any issues. Atomic wallet is a bit slow as compared to Exodus but it has more features. Both wallets are free to download and they also have desktop version.
5292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reasons Why I Have Lost 50% Of Bitcoin on: May 30, 2020, 02:43:52 PM
I will never trade my Bitcoin for alts, whatever happens I will keep it secure and safe. If I do need to buy alts for trading I will use fiat for it. Bitcoin cannot be replaced by altcoin and it is a myth that if you trade altcoin you can generate more Satoshi. Your example clearly proves my theory.
5293  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Online challenge, test your knowledge about the forum rules on: May 30, 2020, 02:12:30 PM
Great!

Got 7/10, missed three as I got confused but it made my day. I think you should periodically create more quiz related to forum rules. It is interesting to try and test your knowledge.

Thanks for creating it.
5294  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Do not download this wallet on: May 30, 2020, 02:05:58 PM
Thanks for the update.

I have reported the wallet website to Google safe browsing. You can also to prevent this website from showing on browser. Here is the link -https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_badware/?hl=en

The more people report the faster Google will take action.
5295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vaccine against Covid-19 should be made before sports events will take place? on: May 30, 2020, 01:16:21 AM
I guess most sporting events will start before a vaccine is out in the market. Just read a new thread about English Premier league they might be organising the event in the month of June with any crowd in the stadium. They still have to get a clearance which I am sure they will get.

There are a lot of things that will now change because of this damm virus. I guess we all have to live with it now, I am not sure whether a vaccine will be out by the end of this year but, one thing is clear it will take more time than we can think.
5296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This forum is much more than just signature campaigns... on: May 30, 2020, 12:28:48 AM
I want to share something with every newbie who joined this wonderful forum just for the sake of enrolling in a signature campaign.
I joined this wonderful forum way back in the last days of 2018 but I was not regular back then. Due to recent epidemic, I was forced to locked at home like everyone of you. I took this chance and started to devote some quality time here. Apart from the invaluable learning and increasing comprehension skills, I earned some money also which I wanted to share with you guys. From the initial days I was clear that I will not be joining any signature campaign whatsoever because it leads to the compulsion of posting minimum number of posts in particular sections, which can only be done by compromising with your quality and enjoyment.
Below are my earnings through freebies, forum special free rolls, free signup no deposit bonuses, reviews etc (which are open to any one, some might have jr member rank requirements) and just forum games in last 90 days.

No deposit signup bonuses:                                                           0.012 BTC (this is the final amount that I have managed to cashed out).
Forum special poker free rolls (very tiny field) :                               0.009 BTC
Games and round Participation                       :                               0.005 BTC
Others                                                          :                              0.002 BTC

TOTAL                                                           :                              0.028 BTC

That is above 20000 INR which is quite good for just couple of hours invaluable learning.
That might just give another perspective to look about this wonderful forum even if you are here for monetary gains.

NOTE: These monetary gains are nothing compare to the learning you will have here if you spend some quality time here as per your own
pace without the rush of signature campaign's compulsions.

Thanks for sharing your earning experience.
In my opinion a good signature campaign also helps you to increase your earnings. There are many ways this forum can boost your monthly take home but you cannot completely rely on it. There are instances when payments have got delayed or got postponed due to some reason or the others. You always need to have a permanent source of earning, rather these additional incomes.
5297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League set to restart on June 17, 2020. on: May 29, 2020, 11:33:25 PM
Great News!

Everyone who follows and enjoys English premier league will be delighted to hear this news not just gambling addicts. It is okay if crowd is not allowed inside the stadium, people are aware of the situation so there is nothing to be sorry about. I hope this event happens have been starving for some live football action. It is only few months but it feels like a decade has passed by without any live sports.
5298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson vs Holyfield Charity Fight on: May 29, 2020, 11:16:01 PM
It will be interesting to watch but I feel pity for these old geezers to fight just for charity fight when this can be done by the youngest popular fighter out there. they don't need to prove anything at this point, they already have their time and they already proved they deserved the title The Legend. If the promotion really wanted to help those who are severely infected by the pandemic, they could do the right thing and I don't think this kinda fight is the right one. like I said, the youngest popular fighter in our time can take the quest for charity if they want to.

I guess they are trying to become role model for the newer generation to also look into charity rather than money and fame. This might be the reason why they are coming back just to help the needy. It is for a good cause and I will surely support it.
5299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung partnered with Gemini on: May 29, 2020, 11:11:55 PM
The problem here is that it is only available for S10 and S20 users. Samsung should roll out their cryptocurrency wallet in mid range models. This will encourage users to venture into crypto world. There are more mid range user of Samsung mobile. I just waiting when will the Chinese mobile companies like OnePlus and others also follow Samsung's footstep. They are known to quickly copy and release their models at a cheaper price.
5300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Pros and Cons on: May 29, 2020, 10:39:37 PM
In my opinion

Pro - The ability to determine transaction fee. You can choose fee depending on the transaction speed.
Con - Scalability issue. Bitcoin networks biggest issue is the limited rate at which a transaction can be processed.
