61  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What your aim in bitcointalk ? on: November 30, 2020, 11:40:01 AM
Okay, first of all I will not look on the alt accusations given to you. I'm just here to share my own answer regarding the question.

Yeah you are right, some are staying here to earn money and some are seeking for knowledge. While me, I'm both because why not? But actually, I don't actually have any mission here. I'm just a simple member who took advantage of earning opportunities present while dealing with my interests. I am engaging with the discussions here for 3 years already and still counting because the topics here are more sensible compared to other social media sites. That is the thing what I like in this forum — less toxic, more informative Smiley.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: Different online business we can involve in on: November 30, 2020, 08:44:36 AM
Above all the options you mentioned, I might say that I am only fitted for Coaching/Consulting. Because I've noticed that the rest requires strong knowledge and skills when it comes to digital arts and computers. I'm a noob when it comes to those things.

Actually, I'm starting to tutor highschool students near the neighborhood. I'm teaching Math subject as this is my forte. Though I'm not accepting payments for this moment (it was only a sort of charitable work), at least I was able to practice on how to deal with younger ones. So far, everything is good. They sometimes don't really get what I teach but that's okay. It makes me develop my patience further Grin. I will offer tutoring services soon, just saving money to buy materials which I need.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again? on: November 30, 2020, 01:34:47 AM
There is only one reason I like about ICOs and IEOs, their signature campaigns Grin. But kidding aside, I actually don't want both of them to return anymore because I know that many investors will get scammed once again. Fraudsters will again use the hype to deceive people which leads to another bad impression to crypto community later on. Of course all of use don't want it to happen, right?

But if I really need to choose one then I guess I will go with IEO. For me it was safer in a sense that the coin will surely be enlisted to that particular exchange compared to ICOs that are conditional for some reasons
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 29, 2020, 01:08:17 PM
No doubt that Washington was lucky however Tolentino was luckier. Oops Cheesy! I thought that TNT will won already, thanks to Castro's tear drop shot miss. Ginebra extend the match and won.

It was a close match so we can really say that this series will not end by a domination. Ginebra should not be complacent, they must keep the hustle. Congrats to all Kabaranggays and winning bettors.
65  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Crypto live forever or die? on: November 29, 2020, 10:48:26 AM
I don't think that war will have the effect on bitcoin that much. Bitcoiners will surely be affected but on bitcoin itself, since it's on the internet, will go on even if we're not here anymore.
The world pandemic can't destroy the system, it even highlights it, what more from a war lol. What could possibly go wrong Grin? Yeah it sounds a little bit overconfident but that's what I really feel. Crypto is not like fiat which are prone from external destructions (getting burned, etc.) and inflation. Plus, mankind's technology are always moving forward. There's no such thing as like going back to primitive ways thus blockchain tech will continue to live (unless we found a new and more effective way of transacting). Maybe we are now decades away from leaving the conventional fiat system, who knows?

So let's continue adopting and spreading the word. The future of this breakthrough depends on our hands.

0.1 btc remains the same as long as you are not converting it to our currency. However, there are investors that are not comfortable on buying during bullish days especially those who are experienced already. Hindi tulad ng mga beginners na invest lang ng invest makasabay lang sa hype train. And besides in some point you will surely feel agitated by looking on the value of your money falling down which later on might lead you on making bad decisions (like cutting losses), so bakit ka pa magiinvest pag mataas ang price?

67  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: hello im new on: November 28, 2020, 09:15:17 AM
i am in a very tight financial situation and cannot work due to certain reasons, so i was told i could eventually make some money here.
I really feel sorry for you dude. I understand you on the part of undergoing financial crisis because that's what most of us are experiencing right now. However, this is still not a valid reason to came here just to earn money. Don't get me wrong, I'm not discouraging you to be here. What I'm only saying is that this forum is not intended to made for earning opportunities.

Well, if you are really eager to get sponsored (I presume you are pertaining to campaigns) then be a good member here. Follow the rules at all times and see what happens next. Also, if you are good at something or if do you have any talents, I advice you to offer your service on the marketplace.

I wish you good luck and God bless you Smiley.
68  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Eto na! nagsisimula na! on: November 28, 2020, 05:16:26 AM
Bitcoin's price keeps on falling down. As of this moment eh $16,967 na lamang ito. Yeah maaaring maganda pa rin itong point sa pag hodl but be cautious kasi baka sa kahahangad mo ng mas mataas na price eh lalo kang mawalan. Always bear in mind your entrance and exit points. But if I were you guys, magdump na kayo. I mean, kung sa tingin ko naman eh tubo ka na ng malaki laki ay wag ka na maging mas greedy. Find contentment and abang na lang ulit for next big thing Grin.

Nakakainggit kayo mga kabayan, buti pa kayo makakatubo kahit papaano. Samantalang ako zero.

Edited: Sorry for the unnecessary long quote. Hindi ko pala nabura, my bad.
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 27, 2020, 03:50:14 PM
Congratulations for the Ginebra San Miguel for winning the semi Finals against the Meralco Bolts.
That was a cold blooded shot by Thompson, a winning shot by him, game could have gone to OT.
Scotty Thompson for three... Bang!! His winning shot made us and all the neighborhood here got so loud at once. What a spectacular match. I thought they are going to OT after Hugnatan made the equaliser, you know, Thompson is not too good in the outside hehe but it's not. That's why we get shocked after he made that long three in the corner.

I just remembered during the post interview with Tim Cone, he said that their last game plan will be on Pringle but it ended to Scotty. Lucky for them as the outcome ended well even though they failed to follow the plan. Well, sometimes the unplanned steps are the one leading you to victory Cheesy. Congrats to Ginebra Nation, we can sleep peacefully tonight lol.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 27, 2020, 11:37:57 AM
Congrats to TNT for booking a seat to the finals and better luck nest time for the Phoenix LPG.

Choke is real lol. What a miss for Phoenix. I thought they can pull it off but TNT still able to win. I don't know what's the reason behind all of this, most probably the momentum is not in their side.

Another thing which concerns me is the pattern. Take a look, TNT tied the series and then won the Finals spot tonight. Meralco also tied the series last day, do you think they will also eliminate GSM tonight Grin? (i hope not)
Watching the second game now and it seems that this is also a very low scoring game.

It doesn't matter as long as GSM will win. Let's see guys, 3rd quarter starts now.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you scared? on: November 27, 2020, 05:52:40 AM
Not all crypto users intend to do it. Maybe most of the investors treat btc as a tradable asset but of course there are still who see it as more of a means of exchange. Believe me, there are some who are really willing to adopt crypto in daily basis but the problem is the scarcity of opportunities. Just like in my case, I was able to buy prepaid loads using btc but still I am not contented with it. I want more bigger and wider real life applications of it such as paying bus fare, paying in grocery stores, paying services like computer rentals etc. etc. I'm eager to adopt but I couldn't, these things are not present at least in the area where I reside. So sad, isn't it Grin?
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does Bitcoin's crucial year teaches us? on: November 27, 2020, 02:02:09 AM
I hope this will give you all a clear picture that every three years we there will be huge market fluctuations and make most of it.
Hmm, I might consider your conclusion but I will definitely not depend all of my decisions into it. I tried to analyze the dates inclusing the prices you've mentioned and I noticed that 2015 and 2020 are the same. Their first quarters are bearish while their last quarters are bullish. But on the side of 2018, it was the opposite.

Another thing I want to point out is the year 2017. Why huge fluctuation happened (I am pertaining to ATH, which is the biggest) on that year if you conclude that it supposed to happen every three years? See? I can't find a consistency at all. No offense mate but for me everything is just a coincidence. Nonetheless, great observation by yours Cheesy.
73  Other / Meta / Re: The Avatar would have to be optional in signature campaigns? on: November 25, 2020, 10:52:05 PM
One of the drawbacks I see is when you are reading posts in long threads or in different sections, you have to pay close attention to the answer you are reading and look at the username to know who it is, if this user uses their own avatar you recognize it right away, your brain already has it memorized
If only if such user only use one image for his avatar constantly. But how about those members who are spontaneous and change their avatar like the way they change their dp in their social medias Grin? How can you recognized them instantly?

My point is, looking on one's name is still the best way to recognize a member.
I only suggest that the user decide freely if they want to use their avatar or the signature image
Of course you are free, all of us are free to do so. But if it violates the rules of the campaign then better to avoid doing so unless you are willing to lose payment lol.
74  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful this coming Black Friday on: November 25, 2020, 09:16:52 AM
During Black Friday I would just go shopping on bigger known websites.
The better move you can do against scams. But still, be careful. Because scammers are getting smarter and smarter as time goes by. They always do their very best to create a website which looks like almost the same with the original one. So aways check the domain of the website you are entering. But you know what's the best? Resist shopping as much as possible since fraudsters are also active during these days. The discount you can get means nothing compare to the risk of getting hacked Cheesy.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's good about BCH? on: November 24, 2020, 04:42:33 AM
Is the Good Pricing not enough reason to be considerd why SEBA or even other banks accepts it? I mean, bch is not as bad as what you think. Yeah! It may lack important features which can a coin posses for real time applications but it is currently Rank 5 in the market. Which means many people are investing into it thus will benefit their bank in the future if they'll adopt this thing. When it comes to business aspect, it was a nice move Cheesy.
76  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [GAMBLING] PBA Discussion and Crypto-Sportsbetting on: November 24, 2020, 01:02:01 AM
Sabi ng Phoenix brad, kung gusto nilang makapunta sa Finals for the first time kailangan tambakan agad nila ang TNT umpisa sa first quarter kaya i expect that the Phoenix will step on the gas pedal on the opening bell at tsaka mukhang ang lamya ng TNT kung titingnan mo yong body language nila. Mukhang may problema itong team na ito pag andyan pa si Parks (just my opinion).
Dapat lang. Dapat mageffort pa lalo sina Calvin at yung mga defensive players nila to create spaces for their gunners especially Wright. Iba talaga kasi pag uminit kamay nun, kaya pansin nyo kung paano siya idouble team ng mga TNT Grin.

Pero matanong ko lang kabayan? Bakit sa tingin mo si Parks ang nagiging problema for the rest of Katropa? I mean, siya nga yung nakaraang nagbuhat sa team nila (though talo) di ba? In my opinion, kung meron mang dapat mag step up, yun ay sina Castro at Rosario. I don't know kung ako lang nakakafeel nito pero sa tingin ko di sila ganun kaproductive this semis compare to their performance in regular season.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Role of Bitcoin in Developing counties to accelerate Growth process on: November 23, 2020, 09:37:07 AM
As they are considered  a medium to support growth Process by providing better traceability of funds and help people to escape poverty.
Traceability of funds? I don't think it was as easy to trace as what current banking system we had. Though bitcoin is not totally anonymous, it was pseudonymous after all.

It helps you to escape poverty? Nah, not all the time. I mean, if that's the case then why we hear stories of broke investors today? The future is in your hands, bitcoin can guarantee you wealth and death at the same time. Everything depends on how you manage your assets so be courageous but be careful all the time Smiley.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life, gambling and trials. on: November 23, 2020, 02:37:31 AM
[snip]

Good for you if you already figure it out, there are still lots of gamblers who believes that luck will continue to bring them more winnings,
in the end they'll lose it back together with their bankroll. Best to enjoy your money if you already have satisfying earnings, profits still
being count as profit how big or small it is.
You can't blame them for doing so. I mean, if for example you are on a winning streak, will you really stop playing all of a sudden? I don't think so. Because you are on the momentum already and it's hard to resist because you will think the possible profits beyond. However, too much greed is not healthy as well. So for a gambler like us, the improtant thing we should do always is set a goal. Once you accumulated the desired profit you want in a particular period of time then stop. Be disciplined enough to take care your profits Cheesy.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: gratitude to all... on: November 23, 2020, 12:50:59 AM
recently joined this journey around time of past halving(~8 months ago), as I always had a sneaking interest in bitcoin. As such, it is my first time being around for a potential new ATH, and soaking in all the commotion that comes with it!
Are you already contented with the feeling of excitement created by the possible new hype? You said that you're already here couple of months ago, then why don't you invest for some way back then? Now you are missing the opportunity of earning. But well, you are still considered new so not a bad start for you. But next time better to grab such chances because we don't know when the next bull run will happen Smiley.
Nothing had come to mind to post, purely enjoyed soaking in information and lacked a little confidence frankly.
Posting here requires almost no confidence at all. Actually, there's no reason for you to be shy in the first place since your face was hide, your credentials are unknown etc. Just spill your ideas and there you have it. As simple as that.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 22, 2020, 01:10:40 PM
Also, Abueva was still very consistent, I thought he will be the best player, but it doesn't matter anyway as long as they do their job very well.

As far as I remember Abueva was short by 1 point (he got 23 points compare to Wright's 24). That's why. And besides, he made the winning shot so yeah it was unquestionable that he deserve to be the best player of the game. But still props to Abueva, his energy is definitely an important key for their success Smiley.
[snip]
4 minutes left before tonight's match ends. That's still a long way to go but Ginebra is leading with 11 points (79-68). We'll see what happens in the next minutes. I'm rooting for Ginebra on this game (actually, as always). Good luck mate.
Finally, GSM wins. 91 - 84. They are now leading the series and  one game away on The Finals. Lezzgo mga Kabaranggay!
