Strikers lose speed as they get older, but their finishing improves with more experience. As Mohamed Salah gets older, he can become a better penalty area striker or a hidden striker who plays alongside the target striker. That's why I don't think Liverpool should give up on a player of Mohamed Salah's quality easily. We also know that Darwin Nunez hasn't fulfilled expectations yet. I think if they lose Mohamed Salah without finding a better striker, they might not be in the league race for the next few seasons. That is certainly not a good rule of thumb. I know what you are trying to say, but when a striker benefits tremendously from his speed, becoming slower will absolutely take away some of the quality of that player. To be fair Roma got a tie as well so Bologna getting a tie wasn't really a big deal for them. If Roma won then they would be just within one game and that could be a risk but because Roma managed to get only a tie as well we end up with basically nothing serious there. I am sure that Bologna will manage to keep their fourth place, which I think was unexpected at the start of the season if you asked anyone.
In fact, if you switched 9th place Napoli with 4th place Bologna and just showed people at the start of the season, people would say that makes sense. But as we know now, Napoli had a terrible terrible season coming off a title, which is a big shocker and Bologna had a season unlike any season they had and managed to reach fourth place which is a great achievement for them.
You say "to be fair". There are two things to consider about Roma: they have been doing amazing recently ever since Mourinho was gone and De Rossi took over. It will always be hard to dismiss Mourinho because he has had so much success as a coach, but being honest about Mourinho is part of the game. The performance of Stuttgart was even better than Leverkusen's in this game and they could even bat against Leverkusen for the first time in this season but once again in Leverkusen that had another comeback in the last moment of the game. While Leverkusen was sure about winning the Bundesliga title there was no reason for them to win to lose this game and this could not make any change for Leverkusen however Stuttgart could get closer to Bayern Munich and get their place in the Bundesliga table by beating Leverkusen. Leverkusen was about to lose but in the 90+7 minute of the game, Leverkusen scored the second goal and once again they got a draw to stay unbeaten.  Stuttgart did a great job, but I did not expect Darmstadt to lose the home game. It is what it is, but under normal circumstances, this was their last shot and they wasted it. |

I can't give a perfect information of the gambling system but it with huge task. The EPL is not friendly and the inconsistent teams are probably the ones that suffered this season, losing vital points. Jurgen Klopp made a mistakes and he won't enjoy anything regarding his last season at Anfield. It's over between for him as the new coach will fly in. Liverpool not in apprehended good form and it gave been a huge difference, decrease in performance. It is a huge issue and I am not convinced how to answer that. We can see again and again that problems arise even for teams that are under management when Klopp is the guy who has something to say. I thought weeks ago that Liverpool would be the team dominating the league, now they are going down and down. I didn't see that coming... |

After the dominance of Juventus, Serie A has become a competitive League. Having different Champions each season is an exciting football competition to watch. Maybe Serie A can be said to be the most competitive League in europe top five league considering other leagues have almost the same champions every season.
Really, at first I really thought that Juventus could really be brilliant this season. But in fact it didn't go as smoothly as they said at the start of the season. Yes, maybe at the start of the season, Serie A was very competitive, even Inter had to really chase very hard to take over Juventus' position. Because at that time, Juventus was really on fire and was able to stay at the top for quite a long time. But after that, it became very bad when Juventus completely lost their enthusiasm and motivation, and even seemed to lose their style of playing football. which meant that after being taken over by Inter Milan, Juventus' performance got worse and worse, even now it is much worse. Manchester City just turned up the heat with a solid performance of demolishing Brighton 4 goals to nil away from home , and at this point am starting to think this edition of the premier league could be decided by goals.. and Arsenal is well covered in that department unless the Citizens go on a winning spree just to kill off whatever hope is left in the Gunners who are so certain that this will be a photo finish... Otherwise let's just say this race isn't over just yet  Manchester City to lift this one will bring peace unlike allowing Arsenal to take it I saw that coming. It is the same as last season when Manchester City accelerated towards the end of the season and kept winning for as long as it was necessary to win the Premier League title. This wasn't coming out of the blue. They won't let Arsenal develop an advantage and I think Guardiola will tell his team to not even stop when they have a 3 goal lead. Eventually, the goal difference could play an important role and become the decider. Arsenal is +8 vs. Manchester City and played one more game. But I can see how Arteta is already having bad dreams about Arsenal missing another title right before the finish line. |

The semifinal match between Bayer Leverkusen vs As Roma is certainly the most eagerly awaited because this is the most intense semifinal between the two teams. Of course, this is good capital for As Roma to break Bayer Leverksuen's unbeaten record.
I think the revenge aspect is what makes this game kind of special, but there are many other circumstances that make this an interesting one! Roma is doing well since Mourinho left and Bayer Leverkusen is still unbeaten. It would be out of this world if they can finish this season without a single loss while playing three competitions simultaneously. But as you said, it is a revenge for what happened last season and it is a great example how these games can play out when everything is running against one team. Leverkusen was dominant last time and lost and I think they will be dominant again, but this time it is all about achieving a different result. I like De Rossi, but I am hoping the best for Alonso. |

Atalanta defended well. They played the way they were supposed to and managed to hold on for the epic 3-0 win. They must be very happy right now because they eliminated a tough opponent, a team that was considered the favorite for the cup, Liverpool. This gave them confidence and why shouldn't their next opponent be Leverkusen? This year could be a dream season for Atalanta. They can repeat the joy experienced by Sevilla this year.
They defended well against Liverpool and they have had an amazing efficiency level on that day. They are in great shape and were able to confirm their uptrend in the Coppa Italia today. I am sure they wish they would have done better in their domestic league as chances are shrinking to finish in the top 4, but there is still a lot to play for for them and a backdoor chance to make it into the Champions League if they win the Europa League! Very ambitious, but not impossible! |
