61  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Donate] Building rice farms in the Philippines / Funding goal 0.007 BTC on: May 12, 2021, 05:39:29 PM
So, this is a donation for donation. that's fair.
certainly, I was more curious about how is profitable rice farm. If he invests $700, how much they will get back worth yield? will be able to double that amount?
Here in my country, some plants it does not pay to produce at all, especially on small farms.

I guess this is just basically a donation drive to give a community a farm that they can use to literally feed their families and not by selling what they harvests. And if we were talking about profits, based on what I know, rice farms here in the Philippines can earn a thousand dollars if a 700USD was invested as an initial capital for farmers to use plus the equipment they rent for harvesting it. It would still depend on what is the quality of rice plus where would you sell it. Why? There are tons of rice types here which the price varies as well, and there are marketplaces here that isn't really capable of buying expensive rice whilst there are rice being exported from provinces to urban areas.. which makes a sack of rice be sold low by farmers yet sold high in popular marketplaces, unless a farm is owned by a Milling Corporation.

63  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bigas PH are now accepting cryptocurrency? on: May 11, 2021, 10:01:51 PM
So nakita ko lang 'to mga kabayan sa Facebook ngayong gabi, at nagulat ako kasi magandang balita ito kung tumatanggap na talaga sila ng cryptocurrency as a payment. However, when I checked their website, cryptocurrency is not yet included on their mode of payment. I also checked their page and they have almost 20,000 likes. So what are your thoughts about it? legit kaya ito or ilalagay na kaya nila ito sa mode of payment nila sa kanilang website?

I won't really prefer to them na tumanggap ng volatile assets like Bitcoin. Imagine magbabayad ako ng bigas na worth 2000PHP ngayon and if BTC yan pedeng 1900 nalang bukas unless they seek for long term. Or just focus sa PHP.
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you ready for Virtual sports based stock market? on: May 11, 2021, 09:36:22 PM
~

Isn't this just basically funding a team (buying their share) then mostly if they have many wins you profit as well but not always a double of your profit?? That's what I can understand with both gambling with sports integrated with their "stocks". Also, I think it isn't really different with sports betting. I mean sports betting's profit is way higher (depending on the odds) than buying one's shares right? Lastly, there are already fan-based tokens like ACM. If they would only make it like that, then I guess it would be more onto trading than to betting.
65  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do you need to learn to make profit in Crypto? on: May 11, 2021, 09:10:51 PM
I'm new to crypto still and I was wondering what should I be learning if I want to make profit from crypto? I was thinking just learn how blockchain works then smart contracts then learn PoW and PoS etc. Then maybe I learn some about popular coins then I just learn to use graphs and learn to trade. I already know about wallets and scam attempts phishing etc.

Is my strategy good or is this not good?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Crypto is just digital assets. Earning profit can still depend on your works. Example: you can be a freelancer yet can accept crypto as a payment hence you earn crypto. But if you want trading, I suggest you should understand the very basics of trading first and be specialize in crypto. Trading itself takes years of both studying, practicing with no funds, and applying it with real trades to master and sometimes wouldn't that be profitable (depending ofcourse if you do leverage trading with high margins). You should also consider having enough money to invest first plus your risk management is a must. There's also pre-sales and shitcoins that creates huge profit but you must be careful as it is prone to rugpulling and not every projects are legit.

Gambling is also profitable and can be more profitable than trading if you start with 1000 usd capital. Both are high risk high reward.
66  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the mechanism behind pumping? Profiting in both BTC & altcoin possible? on: May 11, 2021, 08:49:45 PM
Any idea on what behind the screens going on?

If you would talk about dogecoin, then it is only driven by the hype. Having an unlimited supply cannot value as huge like that. If you would see the current RSI pattern and the Price. it forms a hidden bearish divergence as it was overbought from the January pump at RSI=96 and last weeks' pump is RSI=85.95 while its price were increasing. Hence, I think it would never really reach 1USD with its weak price action. What really drives it is the social media people that roots for it because they didn't knew any fundamentals of it but rather want to make profit out of it. Nonetheless, Doge remains a community driven coin. Once the whales took out their profit and the hype gets weaker, expect it to have a drastic downtrend./

Profiting on both BTC and Alts is possible if and only if the Bitcoin.D and Alt.D is in the same trend.
67  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Donate] Building rice farms in the Philippines / Funding goal 0.007 BTC on: May 11, 2021, 08:29:04 PM

A little shocked that the project focused on making a farm in the country I live. And were shocked more upon knowing that the goal is only around 400USD or 20K PHP, which if tractors and equipments would be bought, might never be enough.
The farm is not very big and the previous farm was at least double size, for which 700$ were enough. Machines will be rented which has a cost of approximately 150$, he said last time.

A few questions that I still want raise, are the Taxes and the labor fees to those who would make this possible physically are considered in setting the collection goal? Since it is already completed, I think it is not that bad to make a "hard cap" like for the donation.
Labor fees are included but he's mainly setting it up himself with someone from his town, like our last project (there are two workers in some of the pictures).
I'll ask him about taxes and reply here, when he has answered. But most likely it seems to be he and his neighbors setting the farm up.

I guess 400 would really be enough if the farmers are close to whom would help or somehow family related. But with the current situation in the Philippines is getting worse plus the price of goods and/or any family's necessity in financial terms are increasing, I think adding more to the donation would be a great help to those farmers. I mean, if it would be a donation not only to make the farm but to feed the farmers families, then doubling the donation or atleast giving more wouldn't be bad right?

If this would remain in continue this coming June, I might try to share some of my profit.
68  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CryptoMaker.Me on: May 06, 2021, 10:10:32 PM
I checked some of them at random and personally, I wouldn't label those as proper reviews [or as you mentioned "honest big reviews"] but instead, product listings with their descriptions...
- A proper review should contain your own personal experience with those and AFAICT, that's not the case [sorry if I sounded rude].

Proper reviews? For over the years, any review page with regards to any projects, airdrops, cryptos, are automatically discouraged by tons of users that experienced reading faked reviews and faked review sites partnership as most reviews requires initial money to be promoted on such pages. And even if the OP promises an honest review and he even experience it all, the image of any review websites remains the same. How come? I can simply reach you out and offer you huge sum of money or shares, would you not take it? If you are talking business, then I guess whatever it takes, you will accept it.

Dear OP, I guess it is better to rather establish trust and provide the real honesty first. Be like the Cointelegraph but for lowkey coins and airdrops.
69  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Is there an social media account for feedback about campaign/companies? on: May 06, 2021, 09:19:31 PM

Isa pa yon na need pa nila mag hire ng ibang tao na well known dito to both manage their campaign and hold the funds (para mas sure). Hence, di talaga effective na aasa ka lang sa feedback sa socmed or kahit sa simpleng search lang dito sa forum, dapat talaga bigyan ng maraming time ng engagement sa mga new projects na maaaring may twitter bounties and etc. DYOR but dapat ihighlight yung masinsinang RESEARCH.
70  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: DOGECOIN Thread (news, prediction, and speculation) on: May 06, 2021, 08:55:03 PM

Current price is 0.59 usd.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogecoin/

1USD?? Sobrang labo. Why? Remember how fast it grew in just couple of months? If you would see it in shorter time frames + yung continuous hype nito sa social media, then yes it is bullish. But remember there are tons of whales na anlalaki ng hinold bago pa to sumikat. Also, if you would look in its 1Day time frame chart then mapapansin mo rin na OVERBOUGHT na siya which can be seen by RSI plus may HIdden Bearish Divergence na siya kung titignan naman ang MACD.

Therefore, di ko talaga sinusuggest sa iba na pumasok pa sa doge ngayon at nasa overbought section pa ito. Not really anti sa dogecoin, pero once na humina din hype niya alam mo nang back to 0.1 usd yan or less.
71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't ever quit your job to trade crypto. on: May 06, 2021, 07:56:02 PM
Is anyone here considering trading and investing crypto as a source of income?  IMO, I won't.

It really depends to be honest. Some people do find themselves happy when trading and satisfied everytime they learn anything about it. What matters is that they must not all in their savings and income in trading and investing. If it would be a source of income, it would tell others that it would not be that stable and still remind them that invest and trade only what you can afford to lose. There are tons of people that chose trading and worked out pretty fine, why? Because they love what they do and they know what they can and cannot do.

Isn't this topic too repetitive? I've seen tons of threads like this over the years both in here and in Trading Discussion..
72  Other / Meta / Re: I am genuinely interested, need some advices. on: May 06, 2021, 07:30:52 PM
I am still working on learning the things I need to have my first miner and also I am thinking to spend time on this forum too. It's clear that there are two sides of users. Some are very flexible to pass information and some are too strick that even they don't allow questions that someone needs to ask 😁

The mods are just strict when it comes to their section moderated as they don't want it to be bombarded with tons of newbie spammers who sometimes posts tons of questions about mining without even making their own effort to study it well. Hence, if you really are a newbie and wanted to learn more, I think you should consider studying it first by yourself as there are tons of knowledge to know before really engaging onto the Mining per se such as hash rates and power supplies. If ever you need a help with a certain knowledge you couldn't comprehend, then you can seek a thread in Mining Support.
73  Other / Archival / Re: Why Live Blackjack? on: May 06, 2021, 06:53:44 PM
I have a roobet account and i was looking for blackjack, and i only found real live tables, why do they use this and not use blackjack which depends on provably fair? Isn't that more economical for them than paying dealers' salaries and location or service entirely? Have not we yet progressed to not using this old stuff Roll Eyes ?

BlackJack being played live online is just a way to still let the users feel what it is like to be in real casino that no bots nor any algorithms can provide. Also, not because the modernity (online gambling) is way convenient and cheaper to casino companies, does also means that they should not consider adding the traditional way of playing a gambling game. Imagine this, would you love to see NBA being betted if the players plays in 2K apps like in PS4/XBOX? LOL it's just the same idea as how you want to eradicate the live show bettings.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manga Betting on: May 06, 2021, 05:46:12 PM
Edit: I didn't mean a large scale betting it is more of an informal, like how you do a bet with your friends and nothing more than that.

Glad you cleared it out. All or most of the impressions is that you suggest that Manga Betting can be featured nor be done in existing gambling websites. IN small scale betting, yes it is possible for like less than a hundred bets and to those who generally is close to you and a fan of what you would bet on, a simple fun game to be specific. But when it would be a gamble of huge bets, I guess it could not really be fun to gamble at all. Lastly, Manga Betting still relies on the Author's ideas and can easily be predicted when some leaks of issues are published by anonymous people online.
75  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be Aware Phishing betsmixer.com on: May 06, 2021, 05:20:47 PM

Regarding domain:
The domain roobett is not owned by us, for publishers we offer an affilate program, if someone placed a affilate link to some type of redirect or domain, we aren't able to block this activity. We can only block a affilate link which comes from this website.

btw.
Mr. Raj Devi is clearly some type of Indian scammer or someone who intentionally slander other companies aginst your fraudulent website betshah

Despite your defensive claims, how can a platform cannot control affiliate links that is suspicious yet can somehow still block certain links? It's just a normal moderation on your end. Whether the claims are true or just a mere suspicion and fraud, you should handle those phishing claims with a much valid proof than just judging some user named Raj Devi to be an indian scammer. Both of you are still suspicious as this accusation is dated 3 months old and you still bothered responding to this? ROFL.
76  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency, now a fast rising trend! on: May 06, 2021, 04:59:09 PM

(a) Having a small fraction of any crypto might not get you rich, to see real gains, try to procure "One" or more.

The "small" already explains that you will not get rich with it. Also, i don't know why you said "or more" as it also lies on having small fractions of many cryptos. Hence, I prefer the suggestion of "holding 2-3 coins" and use your whole capital on those coins to see your gains. Which then would rely also in how much capital you started. Small capital, small earn. Huge capital, huge earn. UNLESS, you use leverage in trading. Which can make your 1USD to 50USD in just days of proper positioning and maximum leverages.
77  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Explorer API integration in my Website on: May 06, 2021, 04:16:49 PM
Which language are you using?
English

So many years I've been on this forum and posting in this Project Development section and this is the only post I laughed so hard I almost choked HAHA.

But yes, in my own experience creating simple local apps especially with Javascript, blockchain.info's API is far the fastest API I have used. But if you would have a commercial website and would love to use a paid API that offers variety of chains, I would suggest Blockchair's API[1]. Also, just a simple suggestion, if you also want to integrate coin prices in your website (coz you might soon as it would be an additional feature), I would then suggest Coingecko's free API which you can find in their website.

78  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Is there an social media account for feedback about campaign/companies? on: May 05, 2021, 10:28:18 PM

Goodluck kababayan if may mahahanap ka pang feedback pages or websites para sa mga campaigns and projects. Way back 2017 sobrang daming scam reviews dahil binayaran and kahit ngayon wala kang mapagkakatiwalaang review platform or pages kasi dapat iconsider mo din sa sarili mo yung validity pa noong review na iyon. Simple lang naman, if you seen a campaign, Do Your Own Research. If experienced user ka naman madali mong malalaman kung scam ba ang isang project o hindi, if nagdududa ka feel free to ask in this forum to see a different perspective from other users. Lastly, if you are looking for good bounty campaigns na legit, it is not really their end to reach you out, ikaw at ikaw lang din hahanap ng ways para makahanap ng mga campaign. One thing is for sure na effective, be attached to the crypto space especially in Twitter and Telegram.
79  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why financial exclusion is the true power of Bitcoin on: May 05, 2021, 10:02:47 PM
It is true that the digital currency Bitcoin offers financial sovereignty and virtually makes it possible for anybody in the world to have access to money within minutes at zero charges.

This isn't Bitcoin. What cryptocurrency do offers zero charges in its transactions?? I'm afraid there's none (unless it's from a centralized wallet to wallet). And I strongly disagree that Bitcoin offers the world to access money within minutes. Have you ever known that there is a chance your transaction would take weeks before being confirmed and sent/received? Try using 1sat/vbyte. I don't know if in this times you could receive it in minutes lol.

Good choices of words and construction of the article, but still there are misleading information and claims that can be vital for newbies that they might misinterpret.
80  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: May 05, 2021, 09:37:17 PM
I was watching my favorite streamer MoistCr1tikal doing a side commentary on a Slapping Tournament, and what caught my eye was that it was sponsored by Totalbet, which means that it is a viable betting although I find it easy to bet if you have prior knowledge about who slaps the hardest. Are there any betting site that has this for betting?

The only reason that there are no crypto gambling platforms that offers to bet on this kind of event is that the Slapping Tournament still isn't considered to be a sport in many countries nor is being done by all countries. To make this an official sport and to be betted on, there should be many countries that would have and consider this as a sport or there are tons of participants. For now, Komatski is the champion and there are very less people to do this sport nor dare to oppose him. Therefore it would be an easy bet right?
