601  Economy / Economics / Re: Dangers of combining company and personal funds in the same account on: October 21, 2023, 09:59:25 AM
However, there are slim exceptions whereby the organization are not much financially stable and funds are not readily available to go through the process of company registration and they startup their activities with the motive of doing the needful later as they grow in finance.

As a serious company, you shouldn't be using an unregistered company account to hold company funds but In situations like this that's when you know those who have integrity and can be trusted with public funds. Everybody know what they're capable of doing so when you know you can't hold public funds don't accept the responsibility of doing that. You should be able to resist the pressure of using the funds that isn't yours to spend irrespective of where the money is been kept. But since we're all humane and at times the situations we find ourselves make us do things that aren't ethical, having public funds separated from your personal fund is a good strategy because then you won't have access to the money irrespective of what the situation is. People spend public funds mostly when they're in a tight spot and they think they can always replace it but they never do.

Quote
Finally, Keep the pressure for account rectification on and ensure funds are out of your control as soon as it's done to relieve yourself from the temptations that are associated with being in custody of association funds. I advise you to update your personal records immediately there is a transaction whether debit or credit as you may forget the details sooner or later and put yourself under unnecessary stress.

Using a separate accounts gives you the privileges of making that account not accessible to you so the temptations has been eliminated and you won't spoil your reputation. But we should be able to train ourselves to be responsible for our actions, if you can't handle a responsibility don't accept it. I had Bitvest & 777coin campaign funds escrow for more than a year and it never for one day tempted me to make use of the money even when the founder wasn't active on the forum and now the money have been used to relaunch the campaign. If I have tempered with the funds, I won't only lose my reputation but hurt the possibility of been recommended in future for similar business.l, same goes for others so you shouldn't eat public funds, even when the funds are in the same account or wallet as your personal funds but again always separate the funds.
602  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it possible to convert BTC to other alt coins inside trust wallet directly ? on: October 21, 2023, 06:23:25 AM
Is it possible to convert BTC to other alt coins inside trust wallet directly ?

Simple googling would give you the answer;
Trust Wallet supports two types of swaps: "interchain swaps" that allow you to exchange coins/tokens within the same blockchain, and "cross-chain swaps" that facilitate the exchange of coins/tokens across different blockchains. Regardless of the type of swap you opt for, Trust Wallet ensures a smooth and hassle-free process.

For instance, if you have Bitcoin (BTC) and wish to acquire Ethereum (ETH), Trust Wallet allows you to make this conversion directly within the app, eliminating the need for complex protocols, bridges, or third-party applications. But it doesn’t end there, you can swap any ERC20 token Trust Wallet supports and swap across other blockchains like the BNB Smart Chain, BNB Beacon Chain, and more.

Ps: Trust wallet isn't a recommended wallet to use as they're closed source and a product of Binance which translate to you not having any privacy as anything associate with Binance is centralized, yes Binance own trust wallet).
You should be using a non custodial wallet to store your coins and if you're worried about exchanging your coins between the same blockchain (ETH to ERC-20 tokens) or  different blockchain (BTC to ETH) you can make use of instant exchanges. List: Instant exchanges by OmegaStarScream
603  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Experience is key, go for it. on: October 20, 2023, 11:57:46 PM
No matter the amount of information you receive on this forum, if you don't practice and work on having a first-hand experience, you won't understand much. Experience is key in everything we do and it plays a huge role in determining how successful we will become in that field.

Personal experience matters alot, when two people are speaking on a subject that they both have experience but from different sources, you can identify the person that's speaking from personal experience. Personal experience teaches you lessons that you learn from and better yourself while others experience just gives you a guidelines that you can't always fully defend. It's good to have others experience so you don't make silly mistakes that can cost you alot of money but personal experiences are very important. Let's take learning how to drive as an example, someone's teaching you verbally from their experience won't have same impact as you practicing by yourself and gaining experience as you make mistakes and correct yourself with their guardians though .

Quote
As you choose either to trade, mine, or do what works best for you, don't forget to learn the fundamentals and apply them correctly. also learn how to start small and gradually, you learn on the job and with time your experience level should have grown and you can now start making a reasonably calculated risk.

For somethings, we have to learn fully before we start doing them and not think we'll learn them along the journey. When you want to Invest in Bitcoin you can know some basic and then you Invest and learn more along the journey as your adventure in Bitcoin continues but when you want to trade, if you haven't learnt everything needed to know I won't advice you start trading, the strategy can be changed as you gain more experience from your trades but you don't have to learn half way and think you can start trading and profiting. When you do like that, you'll lose horribly to the market that might make you to quit trading entirely because you won't be able to recover from the losses.
604  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign Vs review campaign on: October 20, 2023, 11:36:23 PM
Personally, I feel that review campaign brings more results to the project owners because the participants of the review campaign will surely use the project and there is the possibility than more than 30% of the campaign participants will continue to use the project if it is a good project.

From what I see on review thread I'll say the possibility of those users using  those platforms they review are far less than the percentage you gave them. Most of the reviews remarks are similar which just goes to show people are copying from what others above them have said to write theirs. I haven't participated in a review campaign and I don't think I'll do that in the future either unless it's a service I don't know how it works and what to try them out. Majority of the review participate don't use the platform they review after the campaign is over, they're just after the money the projects are paying.

Also I just feel review shouldn't be paid upfront, let the users use their funds for the review and those with authentic feedback get payback or payment should be based on your remarks and not a general payrate irrespective of how your feedback is. Review campaign does no impactive marketing for the project but just to get users feedback on how theirs platforms are.

Signature Campaign is a better promotional campaign than review campaign, the visibility in signature campaign is more than that of review campaign and the impact as well. Just as others have side both serve their different purpose so obviously both has their benefits but if you're looking to promote your project go for signature campaigns and if you're looking for a direct feedback on your platforms go for review campaign. Signature Campaign gives your project more exposure and you can also get free reviews from users that use them (both the participate of the campaign and others).
605  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can the government acquire all bitcoins either by seizure or purchase? on: October 20, 2023, 09:45:30 PM
So I am thinking, apart from physically confiscating hardware wallets and apprehending bitcoin holders to submit their seed phrase, is it possible that the government can seize bitcoins belonging to citizens even though it is a decentralized system?

No they can't and that's what give Bitcoin power as a decentralized currency, the government missed their chances of seizing or buying most of the Bitcoin in circulation as of when Bitcoin was newly launched and started making waves for itself. Back then they could have easily gotten as much Bitcoin for a very low price and continue buying more of the mined Bitcoin coming into circulation but they doubted Bitcoin by thinking it won't be much of a threat to them. They didn't believe Bitcoin would come this far and now it's already too late for them to achieve seizing or buying most of the Bitcoin in circulation.  Using the word most because they can't fully have control over all the Bitcoin in circulation. Lets not forget new coins are been mined daily and introduce into the market and even though the government takes over mining, we'll still have independent miners.

So far as the fund is passing through CEX, it is possible to seize them. To cash out cryptocurrency, you need KYC through which the identity of the user is known. It is just a matter of running background check on the user to check their activities and affiliations.

A decent amount of money is been traded on decentralized exchange so not everyone uses centralized exchange and if the government through CEX keep up their recent activity of seizing funds on centralized exchange, it'll make others prefer to use DEX instead of CEX. Those exchange seizing customer coins are building a bad reputation among the community as this is a decentralized community that's supposed to be exempted from the regulations of the government. Alot of DEX are becoming more popular and we might just start seeing high volume as more investors pick them over CEX. During the defi hype we saw DEx competing with CEX for volume and we can't repeat similar scenarios again
606  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much money can you make by investing in Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2023, 07:24:12 PM
Bitcoin is one of the most popular and in-demand coins in the cryptocurrency market. Many are investing on this Bitcoin and even many are investing. When Bitcoin was created, the price of this coin was very low and gradually as time passed, the demand and price of this coin increased. I wish that I invest bitcoins but unfortunately I don't have any bitcoins and don't know how to acquire it.

How don't you know how to acquired Bitcoin when you're basically saying investing, multiple times in your post. You can acquire Bitcoin by buying or working and getting paid in Bitcoin. Buying is the most popular since you can buy the amount you can afford and there isn't many employers that'll be willing to pay you in Bitcoin if it isn't a job relating to the cryptocurency industry. Many of us missed buying Bitcoin when it was cheaper but we don't have to make same mistakes against as the price will only keep increasing. It'll have some correction but for the long term, the price of Bitcoin will be higher than it currently is because of the law of demand and supply. The more Bitcoin gets popular and gains global acceptance, the higher the price of Bitcoin can climb because more investors will be introduced into the market while the supply of Bitcoin remains fix at 21 million.

Is investing in Bitcoin easy or complicated? Is it possible to achieve success by investing in Bitcoin? The main thing is how one can earn if he invests in Bitcoin and if he stays for a long time.

Investing in Bitcoin isn't complicated, it's the easiest asset to Invest into and that's why we have a lot of amateur inventors in the market. If investing in Bitcoin was complicated Bitcoin won't have achieved all it has achieved in the short period of its existence. You can earn in various ways when you invest in Bitcoin like capital gains which you make when you buy, hodl then sell. You can also earn from trading Bitcoin but this isn't advisable if you don't have the experience on trading although if you're willing and dedicate some time to learning, you can learn how to trade and be making profits from doing so but the most profitable and reliable ways of earning form Bitcoin is buying and holding. In regards to the amount of money you can make from investing in Bitcoin, there's no fixed amount since investing in Bitcoin isn't a ponzi scheme that promise you a fixed ROI.
607  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Are chances of fraud very high on Binance P2P transactions ? on: October 20, 2023, 06:46:07 PM
I have heard that some scammers are making fake accounts on Binance for P2P and using hacked bank accounts for transfer. If we deal with them for P2P deals, our bank accounts can also get feezed. Have you ever faced this problem on Binance ? How can we reduce the chances of getting affected by this ?

I'm not a big fan of Binance when it comes to P2P so I haven't gotten this experience but since the exchange is very popular in my country, I have heard countless stories of it happening to my country men especially on twitter. Binance is very popular so there'll always be scammers looking to take advantage of newbies just registering on the exchange to trade. In addition to what others have said, I'll suggest if you must use Binance centralized P2P you should go through their guideline as they have it on their platforms and follow up what they said to avoid becoming a victim to P2P scams. You can't save yourself from receiving stolen funds but you can reduced the risk of that happening by;
  • Avoiding high rate sellers/buyers and only trade with verified merchants Scammers are known for using high rate to attract victims.
  • Avoid offline transaction, scam marchants are known for trying to take customer off the official exchange platforms then they can trade with you with stolen coins or fiats.
  • Avoid transaction from third party accounts, OmegaStarScream already emphasize on that.
  • Also don't accept payment from multiple account and report any suspicious activity to Binance exchange customer care to have evidence when the authorities comes knocking on your door.
Stolen funds will always be sent from a different account from that of the user you're trading with, so report such activities when you encounter them irrespective of the exchange you're using to trade P2P.

610  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Smart not Hardwork on: October 17, 2023, 09:59:48 PM
Many believes hardwork drives one into light but it can be contradicting as hell cos in this present era it becomes more of being smart than hardwork.
Doing more of hard work than working smart will get you to a certain level of achievement where applying more knowledge and critical skills would amount to greater achievements

In the days of our fathers, hardwork pays but today smart work pays, when you look the world come look people wey dey do well for demselfs you go see say na smart work wey dey pay pass. Smart work na work wey you no need manual labor but brain work. When you fit capitalize on your brain work you go get more advantage pass person wey dey use him body dey work and when you look office jobs self, no be those wey dey work harder dey get highest pay, na managers dem wey dey manage people and to manage people you need sabi how to use your brain not your hand or body. Smart work need you to dey street orientated and I no dey talk the gra gra street but the street wey be say you need know the things wey you dun mention for OP so far and other things wey dey necessary.

We get some kind things wey go make you be a smart worker, smart work gives you an opportunity to do multiple jobs but hardworking go make you tire self and no go get time to do other things. Smart working go give you this things;
  • Smart work go bring about more productivity to your work
  • Smart work go bring about more flexibility to your work
  • Smart work go bring about more Agility to your work.
  • Smart work go give you more free time and make your work enjoyable and not boring.
  • Smart work go help you achieve your goals faster than when you dey work hard.
  • Smart work improve you overall experience on that job, encourages you to learn more on that job and other benefits wey you fit get from working smart.
611  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigerian gov supports AI initiatives with $290K in grants on: October 17, 2023, 04:04:37 PM
I say make I bring una with this ogbonge news from ou government wey talk say them don introduce Artificial Intelligent research scheme to help spread the use of AI to boost the our economy to the next level. This news na from the Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, wey he talk on Friday, Oct.13. He say government don already set aside ($6,444) wey be 5 million naira to artificial intelligence (AI)-focused startups and researchers.

This would have been a welcomed development if to say we can hold our governments accountable for wetin dem talk with their mouth but we all know this one fit be another avenue to use embezzle public funds. How we go fit verify say the people wey dem go give the money dey actually into the sectors wey dem say dem wan help boost their productivity.  6.4 millions no be small money to use help a start-up wey be say dem dey normally lack funds when dem first launch as to get investors dey hard and if the government really followup this promise e go help alot of starts up wey already dey and people go get interest to launch their own as dem go get funding from the government but how many years this funding go do the startup self?

Quote
The area wey them dey focus on ma on Agriculture, education and workforce finance, governance, healthcare, utility and sustainability. For you to dey qualify fot this grant, you must form an association to engage in a joint venture of start up or tech company and a researcher from Nigeria university.

Them choose better than sectors as using AI in this areas will boost the productivity of the sectors and contribute in the increase of the economy of the country. We just dey waste money for agriculture with the hiring of man power when we can use robots operated by AI that can farm, maintain and harvest our crops for us. Oyinbo wey no get fertile lands reach us dey produce agriculture produces pass us because of the investment wey dem put into their tech and AI for the sector. I'm just hoping this one no go be another promise and failed sometimes wey we dey use to because if them truly come through, e go help farmers to get better results from their agricultural produces them.

Abeg make dem comot mind for that workout area make dem no go cause massively unemployment for the country, we already dey complain say job no dey, government no need to enhance the use of AI to dey do our work for us automatically instead dem need to create more job for the people of the country to work. People's dey to work but job no dey available.
612  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Fall in Naira and crypto growth in Nigeria on: October 17, 2023, 03:43:30 PM
Cryptocurrency adoption in our country has been increasing over the years due to our unemployment rate and inflation rate. I believe currently holders of coins before Tinubu's rule has experienced a great deal of profit with Naira falling in relation to Dollar.

Both the unemployment rate and the inflation rate are both contributing to the adoption of Bitcoin in the country, the unemployment rate dey make the youths pick interest in the industry as they find ways to make a living for demselfs. The unemployment rate they make the youths go into trading and investing to use survive but also the inflation rate they contributions as people wey get money dey find means to protect their wealth against the deflation of the Naira. Inflation rate na number one reason why unemployment fit be two with other reasons like the increase in international business, Remittance payments and so on.

Quote
I know that one's opportunity can be another's threat. Is the continuous fall beneficial to crypto traders or its just a trap? Personally what are your thoughts on this? Does the benefit from the market compensate for the cost of living?

It can't be a trap unless you dey trade directly with Naira but we know say immediately the Naira stars to dey fall, e no dey stop and looking at the country there's no movement of a policy been introduced to strength the Naira. Even if the naira stop to dey fall, you can still make your profits from crypto trading so it can't be a trap, you shouldn't be trading Bitcoin against the naira but other currency and also cryptocurrency. When you wan trade your profits to naira you get double profits due to the Naira depreciating and your profits now been worth more then when naira stabilize you still get your normal profit from trading Bitcoin or other cryptocurency but only do this if you have the knowledge on trading.

Trading should be your side hustle, as a trader nobi everytime wey you go dey benefit from the market. You supposed get other hustle wey go dey pay you steady income like salary job and na dat one you supposed to dey use for your cost of living.
613  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Christmas will be boring, if this bear market reach December 25th. on: October 17, 2023, 02:48:16 PM
Two months and some weeks to the end of December, and the price of BTC is still $26k and if the price continue dumping till 25th of December, I don't think, many investors will sell their BTC to celebrate the Christmas than to be bored through out the day. If this bear market continue till December 25th will you sell your BTC? Or you will continue holding till next year and remain bored on the December 25th or you will sell to join people to celebrate the Christmas as usual.

Wait why you go dey invest in Bitcoin to sell am to use celebrate Christmas, that's a poor mentality and it should be avoided from today. You don't invest to sell and celebrate something wey be say you can always celebrate it in future years. Don't eat your seed when others are eating their fruit, those people wey you dey see dey ball for Christmas has other source of income that gives dem cash flow steady so you wanting to be like dem by eating your seed that you're suppose to be growing is foolishness. If the bear market continue to December instead of to vex just use am sow more seed by buying more bitcoin as future investment. Forget about today enjoyment to focus on building and tomorrow when others dey regret na when you go dey enjoy the profits wey your Bitcoin investment go dey give you.

Any body who invested in bitcoin and is looking forth to use it to celebrate Christmas is not well informed. In fact, he's destined for no profits. He should instead be looking up to the moments after bitcoin  halving and cast his hope on the 2024/2025 possible bill run. Bitcoin is not   fiat money that you save up for celebrations purpose or  short term gains, instead its an assets that you hodl to make gains at the long run.

You shouldn't even save fiats for celebration, you should save for investment purposes. If enjoyment come make sure it's something you're doing with your spare or profit money and not money meant for investment. No go dey sell your assets say you wan do wetin go commot money from your hand wey be liability. Money should be used for building things that'll take care of your bills dem for future. Bitcoin halving na next year and dat having na wetin be the catalyst for the bull run so make we wait until the bull run dun finish before we begin dey extract profit from our Bitcoin investment. If you wan really celebrate Christmas because of things it means for you, den make investment wey go generate cash for you to use celebrate and not touch your future investment. You selling your Bitcoin now mean say you no really understand how the market been for this side.
614  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: No Electricity, No Bitcoin on: October 17, 2023, 02:30:06 PM
With the poor state of electricity supply in our country and the high inflation of the economy, increase in PMS (fuel ) price,it has become very difficult to use generator, power bank another issue of its own even solar has also become more expensive for people to buy  or even pay in instalment.

Without electricity you go fit use your phone do other hustle? Electricity is a necessity of life so we no supposed dey complain about am if we want hustle but to find means to use get am. If you no get light, your neighborhood no get light to go bye charge your phone or where to pay and charge your phone no dey your area? And even though none of this alternative dey your area then move to a better area wey you go get all this things. There should be no excuse when e come to hustle. Bitcoin and this forum different, working on the forum as a promoter via signature isn't working in Bitcoin (make you no dey confused the two) Bitcoin no get work but if we wan talk say something na Bitcoin work e go be investing and trading. As a hustler you go need find means to use get the necessary things to use hustle. If you say the forum na ur hustle (wey no wetin you supposed dey talk) then you need look for means to make you get access to the forum always.

Quote
I got introduced to Bitcoin and I have been trying to do my activities, but the condition of poor electricity supply Will  not permit me to easily do my Bitcoin activities in the forum. How do I find a way out of this epileptic power supply of the country, so that I can be consistent in the forum  performing  my activities .What do i do ? I seriously need your contributions and advice.

Have you considered looking for a job outside the forum since getting access to electricity na problem for you and any job wey you dey do for the forum need your phone to dey on and na electricity you go need to dey power your phone. If you get some money you need buy better phone, ask your friends about their phones to know which phone get better battery quality wey dem dey use so you get get first hand information from experience users as nobi everything we go dey believe for phone manufacturers. You fit also buy alternative power supplies like power banks, small solar just for changing of your phone. Because of the difference in what is prevalent at every phase of life, you can't expect a leader who, during his youthful age saw youths concentrating much on farming and military activity to come up with ideas that are centered on building strong tech guru or even legalize any bitcoin related stuff that he knows little to nothing about.

This is the fact but we're not ready to accepted this truth in the country, we dey allow sentiment to finish us. None of the top 3 candidate where qualifed to lead this country if we ready to tell ourselves the truth but everybody been want their own brother to enter the seat. When we dey talk about youths we dey talk about those in their early 20's to early 30's (this is because of the condition of the country if not e supposed stop for 25 years). You no go dey elect old fools dwy expect them to get better idea about the development of the country. We need to start dey push for youths to be leaders and we too wey be youths need to dey show interest of taking political office as power isn't given but taken. Most of our politicians no sabi wetin Bitcoin be and they no get interest self because dem all dey alright dey thief our money dey put for their pockets.

Quote
If you observe well, you will notice that most lecturers, deans, and HODs of most Nigeria universities are old folks who don't even know much about the changes in the tech sectors and can't effect reasonable managerial decisions that will help the schooling curriculum meet up with the demands and realities of the moment.

Make you also know say most of those guys merit their position, most of this things na by seniority so e go hard to change them. And others na by compensation and political recommendations so dis things go hard to stop. I no go say all this men no sabi wetin dem dey do sha because some of them are very educated and well equiped but the system wey dem find demselfs dey make am impossible for them to bring change. Shey you know the education curriculum dey come from ministry of education, like na dem dey oversee education things so you no go expect a particular university dey go against wetin the federal government no approval. Like now we no go fit dey see schools dey teach about Bitcoin when ministry of education never approved am so last last everything need start from the top. Na their the change go begin from and we go rapidly affect other institutions. Once again everything boils down to electing the right leaders.

618  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Cryptocurrency should be regulated not banned. on: October 16, 2023, 02:13:07 PM
So now I come dey ask say if bitcoin get regulations for our country Naija, say we fit enjoy am as we dey enjoy like this?

We can't enjoy it the way we're enjoying it now wey be say na decentralized operation, Bitcoin go still be Bitcoin but Immediately Bitcoin get regulated e go lose most of its decentralized benefits for the country. We Nigerians know say we no like decentralization instead we sabi give power to a selected few. Reason am from the days of our local banking system (akawo) days to now wey people go prefer to pack billions go keep for bank they enrich the banks instead of using the money to do investment or storing dem in decentralized wey. The Nigeria governments want control and dem go do everything to get that control, if regulations enter the country other means of using Bitcoin will be suppressed but dem no go dey uccessful fully sha although they'll shift a larger share of the community to centralization. Already we're using mostly centralization things when e come to Bitcoin for the country so imagine wetin go happen when this companies begin dey get arrangements with our government on partnership and other things, dem go take over everything and everything will be centralized in the country.

Quote
Or had it been say them regulate am instead of ban, them for gree make Bitcoin a means of transaction/payment?

We dey 21st century, physical establishment aren't much of a hype anymore, exchange fit operates without owning physical building in the country. With or without the regulations dem fit still make Bitcoin a means of payment but dem no go do am because dey no get control over Bitcoin. See the way the government's dey influence the price of dollars and Naira anytime wey dem like. Na that kind thing wey the government like and not Bitcoin that dey won't have the highest say on what happen to the market. Na this same thing dey make world powers never dey reason Bitcoin. If to say dem get way to fit take over the control of Bitcoin dem for dun accept am as a currency but instead the government they shift our attention of Bitcoin been more of a speculative assets instead of accepting it as a cureency. Bitcoin can thrive with or without regulations but the fastest way for we to achieve that adoption na for the government's to come in and regulate the industry in the best way the feel possible but make we just get ready for what is ahead.
619  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Will Nigerians Marketers Accept Bitcoin if Legalized on: October 15, 2023, 08:11:57 AM
Have been wondering if Nigeria government makes bitcoin legalized, and if he does, will our marketers/traders accept bitcoin as exchange for buying of goods.

Yes they'll, e no go happen immediately but slowly e go begin happen, people only disagree with government when na their thing dem say make we use but Bitcoin no bi there thing and after alot of people dun dey come their hand to to use Bitcoin, dem go finally accept to collect am. Government been friendly to Bitcoin adoption go make alot of companies begin open for the country and just as we get plenty microfinance banks dem na so we go get those wey dey associated with Bitcoin payment. This companies can be payment processors that make payments in Bitcoin easier, dem fit get their pos machine and share am to market women to dey use accept payment and the cards been shared with the same marketing technique wey Opay dey use. Nigerian dey very innovative so make you no worry about adoption as we go work out way to make am a household accepted payment method by all including market women.

Quote
bitcoin payment has no refunds, when the coin has been mistakenly transfer to another address then it is gone.

How dis one carry concern market women, shey all dey will be doing is accepting the payment and it can be converted directly to their bank account from the payment processors. One thing you need to understand na say if Nigeria accept Bitcoin, just as centralized exchange dey lead the exchange business na so centralized payment processors go lead this side too. Na only few OGs go dey still use the decentralized way of transacting for Bitcoin. Payment processing companies go come out wey you fit pay with Bitcoin but then exchange am immediately to Naira for their platforms so this women dem fit dey withdraw go their banks. This kind thing already they happen with other countries as Bitcoin can be received and converted to US dollars like ASAP.
620  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Crypto scammer caught and arraigned by EFCC. on: October 15, 2023, 06:48:01 AM
Nigerian court don convict one man wey pretend to be a peer-to-peer (p2p) cryptocurrency trader wit  social media platform him create using a female name to de scam unsuspecting public pipul wey wan try gain interest for crypto wey we dey normally call dem newbies.

This na wetin our EFCC officials supposed dey do and not harassing crypto investors or traders come dey make people's dey fear to do the business. If dem get good records like dis this country go dey beta small small because people like dis guy wey dem catch now plenty for the P2P business. Immediately you register for any platform wey dey do P2P trading na so you go see dem plenty dey deceive people with high rates. Make EFCC use this guy get others wey dey do this things too and help us clean the P2P space because this guys dem plenty. But why EFCC no dey ever catch big fish, na all this small small fish wey dem dey catch because $2,000 to small for how long wey the guy dun dey do this things. Thousands dey lost yearly from crypto related scams so make EFCC go for the big fishes not this small small boys wey no go still stop the scamming because their ogas still dey active for the scamming business.
