Sorry for the temporary offtopic meta post:  WTF is wrong with you people? This is the KNC thread. If you want to discuss something which is entirely not KNC and entirely unrelated to KNC, do it in another thread!

Are you like a poorly house broken pet that craps wherever it like when it has difficulty crapping in the appointed place? Jesus.   Cut it out.

(I will be removing this post in a couple hours.  If you want to respond to it, send me a PM or open a new thread.)

[Edit: To clarify, I'm talking about the discussion of some totally KNC unrelated scammers.  The posts about the power usage fire are borderline and really should have been in their own thread— but at least there is an arguable connection to the high anticipated power usage of the KNC neptunes... so I'm not yelling at those posts, though I think the meter fire pictures would be interesting to a lot more people than KNC customers]

100+ messages were just deleted by the moderators.

Things will be better in the future.

how this happening...? I doubt KNC is are deleting these posts

joe threw the dummy out of the pram and tagged them all to moderators. Deleted. KNC can't delete posts lol

I just tagged 5, they nuked the others all on their own.

6 of my own messages got deleted.

602  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX8A1 - 6/8 chip Coincraft A1 board on: January 29, 2014, 03:18:23 PM
You spam more than 100 msg in all my treads.

Another lie! See my post count of currently 61.

it means refund - i have seen on paypal!

After a long time this is the good end of my story with technobit.eu.

Here we go. Technobit.eu is just a scammer.
This is arbitrariness at its best!

The Technobit.eu SCAM company has understood nothing.

If you go to Martos trust ratings you will see that there are over $20,000 worth of deals he has screwed people over on, yet people still send him money.

Someone (I wont mention his name) who was defending Marto months ago is now a victim of his scam and emailed me to apologize for defending him because now he is a victim.
603  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- on: January 28, 2014, 12:56:34 PM
No I'm sick and tired with all this.
Make it harder for him to find where to post.
And I'm here and did not steal from any body.
The troll is getting what he paid for boards without ASIC's
And there will be no refund for him.

Yes you did, you stole from me.

604  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: {BFL} TigerDirect is making a BIG MISTAKE partnering up with Butterfly Labs! on: January 28, 2014, 03:37:30 AM

605  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Butterfly Labs Nimbus Cloud Mining Service $40 a GH on: January 28, 2014, 02:41:28 AM
And thank you for bringing your stellar contribution to the discussion  Grin.

Hey, you're free to waste your time arguing idiotic semantics if you want. But by the same token, the rest of us are free to point and laugh at you for being pedantic dipshits.

I believe it all started with this dipshit comment:

I'm trying not to laugh at your stupidity... BFL ain't selling this...
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 28, 2014, 02:04:07 AM
Guys, what do you think is a realistic price on the master controller board with the beaglebone?
A friend of mine bought a miner from phoenix some time ago and Phoenix gave a 2nd controller board for free, which my friend lend out to me to use with my 4 upgrade modules I bought from KNC.

Now he wants to sell it and is offering me to buy it, but because I plan on selling the miner soon I wonder:
should I buy the board from him to keep the miner complete and sell it as it is?
or give it back to him and sell it as Upgrade modules only?

I wonder what a fair price is? It's a very hard to find component, yet is it unknown if anyone actually needs it at the moment.
Is $1000 a realistic price?

I bought a Saturn with no ASICs for $600 on eBay. He had 2 Saturns, and combined them to a Jupiter, so I got the case, controller board and BBB.

Can you link me the auction please. Thank you.

I'll buy all four upgrade modules from you, PM me when ready.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 28, 2014, 02:02:04 AM

Considering Mercury's are going for $1,500-2,000 on ebay, you could just get one of those and use the mining module. Or sell it.

Thanks for pointing that out to me. I might have to go that route. I dont go to e-bay much, I had not thought of it.

one just went for $2501 Sunday..  a bit steep

A little steep unless your goal was to purchase the cheapest chassis and controller in preparation of adding 5 KNC modules to it when they go on sale.
Hmmmmmmmm?

608  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit 40 GH/s HEX16B(Bitfury ) now shipping on: January 28, 2014, 01:55:09 AM

I kind of missed you

I am baaaaack and I brought friends!!
609  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Butterfly Labs Nimbus Cloud Mining Service $40 a GH on: January 28, 2014, 01:54:18 AM
So for those reading along Butterfly Labs IS selling Cloud Hashing services on their website that you can buy TODAY and purchase through the BFL shopping cart, click pay, and they will take your money and provide the service.

That's still incorrect. BFL isn't providing the service. Y'all can argue the semantics of the word "sell" all you want, but the service provider is decidedly not BFL.

The way I see it is if the ASICs break, Nimbus will have to send it to BFL for RMA, so BFL is simply a reseller of Nibus who is a reseller of BFL.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
And there you have it!!
610  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Butterfly Labs Nimbus Cloud Mining Service $40 a GH on: January 27, 2014, 06:14:43 PM

let me sum it up for you,
You have lost this argument.

BCP: No they aren't.

The Rest of Humanity: YES THEY ARE.

So for those reading along Butterfly Labs IS selling Cloud Hashing services on their website that you can buy TODAY and purchase through the BFL shopping cart, click pay, and they will take your money and provide the service.

BCP is claiming that they are not selling it and that everything you see is an illusion and because he says that BFL is reselling this service that BFL is not selling it.

Don't try and understand it, just pat him on his head and send him home.

611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 27, 2014, 06:03:19 PM

It's not like there's anything else going on in here.. certainly not KNC updates.

While that may be true, people come here for news about KNC and having to wade through mindless rants, electrical wiring classes and other horse crap is just wrong.

612  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit 40 GH/s HEX16B(Bitfury ) now shipping on: January 27, 2014, 06:00:30 PM

DON'T BUY FROM TECHNOBIT.EU SCAM Company!
Have a look at this Warning thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=358439.0

Thanks for the link to the scam thread, I went over and added my story as well.

Scammed me out of BTC1.43
613  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert technobit.eu on: January 27, 2014, 05:59:26 PM
Might as well jump in here too.

Marto, through a botched Group Buy scammed me out of 1.43BTC

If you look at the details in his trust you will see many people have lost money to this guy.

In my case, he ran a group buy then 6 months later, decided to cancel it due to avalon not delivering,
and instead of PMing everyone in the group buy he leaves a message in a 6 month old thread telling everyone if they don't send him a message to him by a certain time and date with a special signature that you were out of luck.

In that very same thread month or more earlier I asked for a refund and he did not provide it.

Then when I finally saw his little message he said I was too late and all he was willing to do was ship me chips, which he claimed to do in October of 2013. You know what Avalon Gen 1 chips were worth in Oct 2013? NOTHING!

But even then he said he shipped them, they never arrived and he tried to get ANOTHER 0.10 BTC from me to pay for special shipping.

be an informed buyer, read the threads where he does business you have about a 90% chance, in my opinion of getting screwed in some way, late shipment (usually 3 months), No shipment,  lost shipment.

This is someone you NEVER want to do business with. EVER.

614  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Butterfly Labs Nimbus Cloud Mining Service $40 a GH on: January 26, 2014, 07:55:22 PM
Have to love it.  I also saw their wallet when looking at their site the BTC  Wallet http://www.butterflylabs.com/bitcoin-hardware-wallet/.  It is virus and trojan proof! Wont that wallet make you sleep sound.... Roll Eyes

Offline cold storage solution
Virus & Trojan proof
Redundant systems
Waterproof
Multi signature support

Someone needs to tell BFL what the word waterproof means.
Because if it's got a USB port in the bottom, it isn't waterproof.

Or in BCP terms

It ain't waterproof

615  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Butterfly Labs Nimbus Cloud Mining Service $40 a GH on: January 26, 2014, 03:05:49 PM
BFL Ain't selling this yet there it is in my cart

http://imgur.com/kZwZoDy

BCP maybe your sentence was too complex for me, maybe you should break it down for me, we can pretend its a Josh sentence and each word has hidden meaning.

When you say "BFL" who do you mean? We assume Butterflylabs.com

When you say "ain't" we assume Ain't is a contraction for "am not", "is not", "are not", "has not", and "have not" in the common English language vernacular. In some dialects ain't is also used as a contraction of "do not", "does not", and "did not

When you say "Selling" we assume : to exchange (something) for money, to make (something) available to be bought, to be able to be bought for a particular price.

When you say "this" we assume since you are posting in a thread about Nimbus mining we assume that this is the "this" you are referring to.

So where did we go wrong in what you said?

Oh and P.S. Tigerdirect is going to get a real education about BFL, Can't wait to watch that.
616  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Butterfly Labs Nimbus Cloud Mining Service $40 a GH on: January 26, 2014, 02:56:57 PM

https://products.butterflylabs.com/homepage/nimbus-mining.html

BFL has now started offering Cloud Mining for $40 a GH

Talk among yourselves.

Try not to laugh
I'm trying not to laugh at your stupidity... BFL ain't selling this...

BFL ain't selling this?

Then why is it listed on the Products list on the BFL site?

Here is usually how a website works, when you have something to sell you usually list it on your website.

Now in the case of BFL I can see how you would be confused by this simple paradigm.

Because in Bizarro BFL world you may list things in the product section of your website that you have no intention of delivering anytime soon (months/years) so we will give you some latitude but you get none for your inability to actually READ the part where they say they are providing the hardware and THEY are selling the service.

You are truly the most moronic BFL Fanboi the world has ever seen!!

620  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Butterfly Labs Nimbus Cloud Mining Service $40 a GH on: January 26, 2014, 06:14:46 AM
So many things I want to say, but only one reason I can't say them. At some point I will have to decide whether to continue to stay silent for the sake of a certain person I know well who works there or write the novel that I've been planning for the better of the community... Only time will tell I guess, because it's obvious neither they nor their customers can stop themselves due to their greed.

At least start writing it so when that person becomes unemployed it will be ready.
