Mondays Shipping Predictions based on BFLs lack of enthusiasm last night:

Jalapenos 4.5 and 5 gh/s: Feb 12-14, 2013 no Jallys shipped today

Little Singles 30 and 25 gh/s: Nov. 6, 2012

Singles 60 and 50 gh/s: Aug 11, 2012 pay date

MiniRigs: June 24 orders (3rd 500gh/s unit), July 2 orders 2nd 500 gh/s
August 2 for 1st 500 g/s units

(Going out on a limb for the extra day of Mini-Rig Movement)

Remember they work on weekends so Mondays numbers should be twice Fridays because they roll up Monday and Saturday together.

I still think they will only show an equivalent of what they did any single day last week

Changes are in BOLD

Timer removed. End time: 2013-09-30+23:59:59UTC
1462  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Product Teasers] Prototype hubs & more from Big Picture Mining Cooperative on: September 10, 2013, 12:27:55 AM
I am not a SSB customer so that price is not valid.

So a BTC1 Bitfury 2.5G stick is still a better deal

You see the second link bub?

I did not see that, that is very nice of you!!!

Still the overhead on the USB hubs make it a non-starter for me.

Again, still really nice of you to do that!!

So right now you can easily get 2.5gh's in the erupters for about 1btc with shipping at the price of .13. This will have to be close or under for most people to consider it.

Yes even if you could buy them for .13 (link please) you need 8 USB ports to house them

I could put 20 GH in the same 8 USB ports. I'd need 60 USB ports ($360) to house the same 20GH

You have proof it was outright lying and not a relay of information passed to them from their suppliers?

Sure, dozens of quotes. Here's the latest:

http://www.butterflylabs.com/monarch/
Quote
Tape out August 2013

When they posted it, it may not have been an intentional lie (I suspect it was, but I can't prove that). But now that we're into the 2nd week of September they leave it there hoping to deceive customers into thinking they're making better progress than they are. So now it's simply a lie.

Lying by omission is lying by either omitting certain facts or by failing to correct a misconception. It could be a situation in which a misconception exists that the claimant is aware of but fails to correct.

Any good company (not BFL) when they knew that something they had said in the past will turn out not to come to fruition in the time frame that they hoped, they should say so. For example, today BFL probably knows it won't get all orders up until 7/7/2013 out the door by the end of September, so they should probably say something.

Lies of omission are still lies and BFL has had a bunch,
and although people will say that Josh used his weasel words like "we hope" "No guarantees" "Doing our best" etc etc.
The fact remains that the second he knows he is going to break a promise or not deliver on a statement, whether he said "we hope" or "we will" he should tell the customers so.

If his vendors screwed him over, there should be a post that says "Sorry my vendor has screwed me and here is why..."

But he doesn't and maybe he shouldn't the first time, or the second time, but we are on the 4th or 5th time.

and BCP19 (stands for Butterflylabs Corporate Puppet)  keep taking their side, I only replied because your quote appeared in someone elses message, otherwise your side of the story is always going to be:

"This user is currently ignored"

It's all about managing your customers investors victims.

If the people that they've ripped off would just stop trying to vocalize about it...
Thats how I see it as well.

Yes just let the victims be quiet and BFL can actually make more money!
1467  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: September 09, 2013, 03:25:46 PM
Seems Josh has a lot of time as their COO to moderate posts on the forum, to argue in the Shoutbox who has shipped more devices, and to duel with people on this website.

What he should be focusing on is recapturing any sense of credibility his company may have but he ignores that task because it is outside of his realm of capabilities.

A new leaf can be turned over at any time. Then all you have to do is actually perform.

Moderating the forums also gives you the ability to delete posts/threads etc that may be "held against you" in the future.

Some of the latest tripe from the BFL Shoutbox. (Sunday Night)

Seems BFL does not work weekends, but Just Saturdays and those numbers are rolled up into Monday Numbers.

"We make and ship stuff on Saturday but it all gets rolled into Mnday"  (sic)

So when Josh said we work weekends, he meant Saturdays. (off by 50% imagine that)

Also interesting to note that in sheer Pay dates shipped, lately Mondays numbers are equal in pay dates to any other day, there is not a doubling effect on Monday's stats due to some huge volume that went out Saturday.  (wonder why)

When asked whether she lacked parts or assemblers, she ignored the question.

When asked "Backlog cleared in 22 days??"

She replied "If we ship everything by the end of September, the backlog will be cleared. If we don't, I won't be."

I'd call that a "no', just my opinion however.

The OP must really have nothing better to do with his time seeing as he has to disect everything that comes out of BFL down to the point all you have is utter nonsense.  Obviously he is so wise he can infer things from minimal data.  I'd bet Charles Schwab would love to hire someone with his keen skills.
Just like you have nothing better to do than to respond to BFL related posts within a very hostile environment. You've gone out of your way just to do that.

Your reward for wasting time is?

I don't dissect everything that comes from BFL, what you are reading is MY discussion with BFL.

My reward, as an investor in BFL is that folks know additional facts about the company I have so foolishly invested in.

Caveat Emptor.

1470  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Did i just get Fucked by BFL on: September 09, 2013, 01:04:09 AM
OK so i ordered a Jall base model on the 23rd of june 2013 and i ordered the upgrade a week later.

just checked the BFL Blog and....

Jalapenos 4.5 and 5 gh/s: Feb 12-14, 2013 no Jallys shipped today

have they halted production on the upgraded units?

Good news is that you will have a package under the tree for Christmas and it will be from BFL.

Open it, sigh and throw it away because it will cost you more to plug it in than throw it out.

If you paid with Paypal, say so and we will show you how to get your money back
1471  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: September 08, 2013, 02:48:33 AM

Remember Josh saying "It takes 4 minutes to assemble a unit."

4 minutes a unit... spectacular. Where has there been any evidence that a unit at BFL has been made in 4 minutes. I would love to see that claim backed up with evidence. Maybe he lied?

I think what he meant is that if they had all the parts, boards, chips, chips mounted on board,
cases, fans, power supplies, cables, dildos, kleenex, etc. If it was all sitting in front of an assembler named Wanita,  she could assemble it in 4 minutes.

Problem is all those parts have never been in the same place at the same time.

Interested but as more time elapses, price becomes an issue.

I'd pay your price if you could deliver today
1473  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs announcing new preorder marketplace on: September 07, 2013, 03:56:31 PM
If they are working on "features" like this.. that means all the back log of orders is completed right?

Not now, not a month from now, not by Christmas

Fridays update
Jalapenos 4.5 and 5 gh/s: Feb 12-14, 2013 no Jallys shipped today

Little Singles 30 and 25 gh/s: Nov. 6, 2012

Singles 60 and 50 gh/s: Aug 6,7, 2012 pay date

MiniRigs: June 23 orders (3rd 500gh/s unit), July 2 orders 2nd 500 gh/s
August 2 for 1st 500 g/s units

Another 3 days of progress on Singles and not much else.

Very predictable. And as previously stated not enough to clear backlog until December or January
