781  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Chili – 30+GH/s BFL based Bitcoin Miner Assembly on: December 24, 2013, 08:57:13 PM
Just got two new boards from Mr Teal

Win 7 with 3 BFL devices that work just fine,

Add the Chili and its recognized by BFGminer but 100% rejects while the BFL devices work just fine.

Any secret I am missing?

I cant have two bad boards!

I will need power for 3 neptunes but they must be separate

Why bother you are going to sell them a week after you get them no?  :p

784  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: December 23, 2013, 08:16:09 PM
I have a 3 Module Saturn that is running at 500Gh using 211 with no issues.

231 gets me about 530-540 but until the temp in my building drops into the 40's I will leave it as is.

did you custom build the rack for your jupiters? or just happened to find one of the same size?

Custom Built: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_F83SbHMyg

Its called Bookshelf on wheels
786  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: December 23, 2013, 08:05:34 PM
231 sounds pretty high.  That's 900MHz if I'm not mistaken.

How many amps does bertmod report each DCDC is putting out?  I hear that exceeding 50A each is pushing things beyond safe margins (in particular the PCB traces are at risk).

The feedback i saw from the KNC folks is that 60A is the upper end for the GE VRMs but of course they higher you go the more risk youtake

I'm not able to prove if you got your chips or not as far it was regular mail in order you refused to pay handling.
@ the END I'll spend 50-100 USD for DHL and then will wait to see what next you'll write about in my treads.

We shall see. So far you have not done anything that I can tell.

If you were an honorable businessman you would send me back my 1.43 BTC from your BOTCHED group buy

Holy Shit almost 7 hours and 5.59 billion shares, that was a hell of a block!!!

That's an understatement!! Smiley

and two days later here we are again, is this a sign of things to come?

We are at 5.5b 6.1b, few more minutes and we will be at now more than 2 days ago

8-9x difficulty aren't all that uncommon, which would be 8-10b.

Not in this pool

790  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: What factors do you look for in a legitimate bitcoin hardware company? on: December 22, 2013, 01:35:54 PM
BFL seems to get all the quality feedback they need to refine their scams and nothing gets done about it by the mods?
Why worry about this poll and not warn people off BFL, seems pretty disingenuous to comment here and not about them as a Mod, no?
Have you found yourself with a dull axe, or what?

The heck— it was just an observation. Answers here are not terribly useful except in helping people refine their scams. (After all, knowing lots of people look for X isn't helpful without knowing if those people did or didn't get ripped off)

You read my mind sir!!

This is like a playbook for the ultimate scam!!

791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: December 22, 2013, 04:38:55 AM
What I believe this means was that there was an acceptable delay in payment for the wires and therefore the note acknowledges this.

Nothing's been finalised with respect to future Jupiter, or Neptune sales. Everything's been winding down here prior to Xmas with the exception of the engineers who are working through to meet some self imposed deadlines. There's some to and fro with Alchip before designs are finalised, and obviously for all concerned the sooner there is agreement with all parties the better so aside from Cust serv and finance it's still all hands on deck. I'm still coughing and spluttering, but a million times better than the tail end of Vegas, so thanks to all that said the kind words. Indeed the plane was a nightmare come landing. I couldn't equalise and my head felt it was about to detonate. I couldn't hear for 3 days. The fact I couldn't speak was largely seen as a blessing...Tongue

Anyway I see no reason why wire x-fers wouldn't be accepted for future purchase, but as it was mentioned above it does highlight the obstacles within traditional electronic payment Wink

I told ya not to get on that plane!!

He is full of crap

I am not full of crap and I have already rented from 2  people on here who I spoke with on skype (I will ask if they want to leave feedback here).  I haven't been on the forum the last day or so but I am responding to pm's now.  Skype LFring01 and we can get things going quicker since I have to wait 360 seconds before a post or pm response.  Thanks

yes you are.

Anyone done any business with this person?

JoeVentura,

I live on the edge. I use 231. It's about 20% faster than stock but some of my VRMs are in the 45W range!

I am in the 39-41W range with 211
