Good luck with your currency, my personal opinion is this bond issue is a pseudo-ponzi scheme and your currency has zero chance of mass-adoption success. Don't take that the wrong way though - it's just my opinion.

Maybe you should try to see this project from another perspective, it seems very very hyped. If you have a strong concept and strong product you shouldn't need to keep calling it 'EPIC' and the 'Singularity of money' and the 'final revelation of digital currency'. To be sure no one has yet agreed with you on that.

I would advise you to strip the confusing sales pitch away, forget about bonds, and focus on the core of your business idea. But don't spend too much time on this project, Bit Coin has phenomenal potential now and is as good as unstoppable.

It seems in March May you had plans for 'sollars and sense' to be a payment system for cable TV subscription? A 'pay what you view' type billing system.

Now you are selling bond-type investments in the future profits from this payment network - which you now see going Global. Can you say:

1) How much revenue has sollars and sense raised this year from the Cable TV subscription payment service?

2) What level of fees will you will be charging for sollars  and sense network transactions?

3) What unique benifits of sollars and sense will make it more likely to be mass adopted than Bit Coin?

Just WOW.

'#EPIC'

1-1 USD? You might want to rethink that as your investors are going to have their investments devaluing at quite a rate when the dollar begins to collapse.

apologies my mistake.
605  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 31, 2014, 06:30:46 PM
Just a heads up. If you want answers from Ken, your best bet is to PM him. If you would like to have him answer on the form it might be better to

@Anyone has Ken said that we should start emailing/pming with our information or.. ?

No and No.
Last thing Ken needs is 600 pm's how is he going to read all of them?

You will get an email at your specified email address and that will tell you how to register to claim back your shares.

Why do everyday people like you and me use banks? The main reason I use a bank is that my wages go into one and I can then conveniently draw down on my savings for everyday expenses. It saves me the risk keeping lots of cash at home. So if NB can replicate that service that's a fine idea. If we expect BTC to go mainstream we should expect wages to be paid in BTC and the BTC-wage-paid  will want to link their wages to a bank account not just for the convenience of the chip and pin at the counter tech but also because it's through banks that we get loans, mortgages and finance. I don't know a lot about NB but if they are offering the full plethora of banking services then they are supplying a demand, a huge demand. BTC doesn't change the needs of people in their lives, we all need loans, mortgages, finance to buy a car etc. And overdrafts and 'high interest' savings accounts and direct debit options from our main bank account. BTC is a disruptive tech for central banks and money transfer scammers but the practicalities of peoples everyday use of their savings will not change.

Then there is the generational issue. Many people over 60 would have a lot of trouble running their own BTC savings or general expenditure portfolio with no guidance. A lot of pensioners and older people have regular income and savings. They would use a traditional banking setup so again NB has the opportunity to fill that market - should BTC go mainstream. And ofcourse BTC is more likely to go mainstream if there is a high profile, high street BTC bank - this is a positive loop feedback effect and it looks like it's just about to take off. Sorry for the mixed metaphors, best I could do.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is mining toast? on: January 31, 2014, 04:53:49 PM
The general asset class value of BTC is directly related to the expense of the resources needed to mine it. If you could mine gold or diamonds with a $10 shovel in your garden those commodities would devalue as the ease of mining meant the supply of gold and diamonds would shoot up.

Anyone else having trouble opening Crypto-Trade.com?

609  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 31, 2014, 04:28:45 PM
There is no mechanism for buying or selling shares at this point.  This has been discussed before.

We can use BTCrow for the agreement then the shares can be tendered to me on CryptoTrade  or I will accept the log-in details for this new registration site where holders are reunited with their shares.

We can do this people. Lets agree a good price for both of us and you don't need to worry about a low price on the exchange. Best offers please to my pm. Thanks.
610  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 31, 2014, 04:16:01 PM
This is already turning into a clusterfuck, just like in the past months...

Only because people seem unable to listen - or read.

My offer is still live and it is genuine. I have funds available and I want to buy cheap shares. Please pm me with your very best price and what quantity you want to sell. Why wait and get a disappointing price on the exchange? All offers considered.

So far I've had no pm's on this, so come on people you are running out of time.

EDIT - sorry I've had one person contact me so far.
611  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 31, 2014, 11:09:34 AM
Who wants to sell me some cheap shares? Anyone interested pm me. I've got a reasonably sized budget but I want your very best price.
612  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 30, 2014, 11:15:10 PM
impossible to have a logical discussion with someone that just wants to argue and derail the discussion by focusing on stuff that has nothing to do with this company.

Just making a point about providing proof. I don't have Ken's certificates. You should have been asking these questions about his credentials 6months ago before you invested, it's a bit late now to be asking for this evidence - least of all from a fellow investor. I'm taking Ken at face value, that's what's called investor confidence. I also realise as an open and exposed individual who has involved his close family in this company that he has a lot to lose from outright lieing to shareholders.
613  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 30, 2014, 08:50:37 PM

Miner; KnC have created a product, and shipped said product. Ken has not yet.

No the point is about getting proof about statements or claims made about peoples background and experience. Nothing to do with what KnC do today, but what they claimed to be doing 25 years ago (combined).
614  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 30, 2014, 08:41:55 PM
if you are going to state these as facts then I ask for you to provide proof to back up your statements of:
...................................

If you provide me proof that this statement from KnC is true I will do my best to prove the above info (which has been stated publicly by ACtM) is true:

'Kennemar & Cole is a combination of Andreas Kennemar and Sam Cole. Together having more than 25 years of expertise and global experience of bringing services and products to market.'
https://www.kncminer.com/pages/aboutus

And I want proof for both parties.
615  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 30, 2014, 07:54:09 PM
the fact they you take them as facts from Ken, and then when MrTeal (who has been around much longer and has some real street cred) posts his take on it you tell him he cant be right cause Ken said this.  You are coming off like a 9 year old boy saying my dad can beat your dad up.

Ken has the facts and details at hand, he is a very experienced software engineer, (as well as a very experienced businessman) he has two life-time engineers on his team, together with their suppliers they have come up with these projections.

Mr Teal does not have all the details about this company infront of him, he has not negotiated with ACtM's suppliers or know the agreed timelines, and neither is he as knowledgeable as a combination of 3 life-time engineers.
616  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 30, 2014, 07:45:43 PM
really, so all the times you have typed it that way and have done that to several other users on this forum have been nothing but typos?  forgive me for thinking it was a deliberate debating tactic...

That time it was a typo - I'm trying to be more sensible and just present the facts as reported to us by this company. If we don't actually know the stated facts first how can we question them? At the moment people are believing the lies or half-truths spread by new-comers to this thread and so-called experts who have all of a sudden become very very interested in ACtM. Then people question these half-truths as if they were facts. That leads you no-where.
617  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 30, 2014, 07:26:18 PM
again you show your maturity by "cleverly" changing someone's name to something that tries to make it seem like they are less intelligent than you.

Sorry it was a typo, don't get so wound up.

EDIT - and yes I accept MrTeal's explanation and breakdown.  much more so than I accept anything Ken says.

OK so despite him getting basic figures out by 50% you believe him over Ken and his team. Well that's your right. I hope to be buying some shares off you soon then.
618  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 30, 2014, 07:22:26 PM
looks way better and more convincing than 3 empty workbenches in a garage

Apart from them having the chips in stock not at all.

They have 6 assembly benches. We have three double sided benches = six assembly areas, so the same assembly capacity. Simply stating facts.

EDIT - actually it looks like they have 5 benches so we have a larger 'assembly facility' than they do. Maybe we can put that on the website?
619  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 30, 2014, 07:14:47 PM
this.  all of this.

finflof you haven't replied to my pm about why you think my my earlier posts were so out of order.

I find it concerning that you accept every word of this Mr Teal without question. His figures have not even been researched or cross-checked with the official figures as stated by Ken. Yet you agree with his every word? Every one?

edit - just got your reply. The point was you can acquire industrial commercial premises with large power supply already connected.
620  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 30, 2014, 07:09:40 PM
Let's play with some numbers, shall we? Please fill in the blanks.

A ridiculously long post, and it's filled with assumptions, inaccuracies and unanswerable speculative questions. How long is a piece of string?

-100PH by when? Who determined that? Do you have that in writing and are you considering the possibility of a plateau in difficulty rises? So that is a guess with a large margin of error which you fail to note. Total hash could be 75PH by the time the farm opens so reducing the required capacity of our farm by 25% - future hash rate it is an unknown figure.

-The 4U expansion units are not 1TH each, there are 6 expansion cases and one master case for our full-sized 55nm-based 10.488TH/s rig giving a figure of 1.498TH/s per unit. You are such an expert (proved substantively wrong twice already today) but you couldn't work that out with available figures. So your guestimate on this figure is 50% out - because you didn't do the research.

-So we knock 33% off your 16k boards figure to give 10,666 boards.
Suddenly outlay and workload and investment in resources is reduced by a third - and that is fact not a guestimate.

-Wafer numbers - the UMC foundry we are using has a capacity of 45,000 12inch wafers per month. I can't find details on how many chips per wafer UMC will be fabbing.

-The rest of your post is speculation. What are my time estimates on 10k boards? I don't have any, I'm not a PCB fabricator you would need to ask Ken's engineering team that one. Certainly your knowledge of the industry seem a bit sub-par so with respect I'll trust Ken's expert team on their estimates for this project over yours.
