Sebetulnya teknologi blockchain yang sekarang ini sudah bisa dipakai di dunia perbankan, terutama untuk menggantikan jaringan VISA & Mastercard, GPN, dsb. Coba aja transfer antar bank masih berbiaya IDR 2.500 (GPN), IDR 6.500 (Online). Itu kalau pakai koin yang POS misalnya cuma bakal kena berapa... Apalagi itu jaringan transfer ada jam down-nya di tengah malam, sedangkan blockchain itu 24/7 ga ada matinya.

Permasalahannya adalah brand-brand bank dan payment processor itu ga ada yang mau pakai produk yang bukan berasal dari mereka atau masih belum mainstream. Coba kalau blockchain/Bitcoin ini ditemukan oleh brand bank besar di Mamarika, pasti sekarang semua sudah pakai.

Sebetulnya hampir semua coin hasil ICO/IEO itu juga masuk ke security, hanya saja SEC hanya mencantumkan daftar coin yang signifikan menurut mereka saja. Kalau tidak tercantum di situ untuk saat ini betul memang belum resmi termasuk security tapi ntar kalau memiliki kapitalisasi besar atau meresahkan, besar kemungkinannya dimasukkan.

Nanti kalau sudah ada kepastian hukum di Mamarika, kemungkinan besar akan diikuti dengan EU dan kemudian kita mau tidak mau harus ikut juga mengupdate kebijakan kita. But if the question is phrased differently such as "Do members with higher rank make more quality posts according to my taste?" The answer is probably a "no" for you since you make this thread. It's also a "no" for me since I have a different taste for "quality posts."

It can be "no value" according to your taste, but valuable according to others. But it also can be because the members in question only post for a signature campaign, or got the rank before the merit system was implemented. It's difficult to talk in-depth because there's no real example.

Saham sebelum menjadi terbuka (Tbk) dan diperdagangkan di bursa, itu banyak aturan yang harus dipenuhi. Penawaran perdana-nya pun memiliki aturan. Nah kalau suatu token dinyatakan sebagai security secara tidak langsung itu sudah menuding kalau token itu adalah unregistered security karena mekanisme kek ICO, IEO, dll itu tidak diakui. Pasti nanti akan kenak sanksi dari SEC.

Nah kalau dinyatakan sebagai security tentunya token itu tidak bisa lagi diperdagangkan di bursa kripto yang tidak memiliki ijin untuk memperdagangkan security. Bursa untuk security sudah ada sendiri entah itu stock, bond, derivatif, dll.

XRP ini agak aneh karena produk dari perusahaan, dan tidak memiliki hak apapun terhadap keputusan dan opit perusahaan, jadi berbeda dengan share (saham). Perusahaan Ripple bisa saja bekerja sama dengan ini itu, tapi bukan berarti pakai XRP, bisa saja mengerjakan projek yang lain. XRP hanya salah satu produk mereka saja.

XRP itu dipremine semua, jadi kalau menurut ane ini sama saja dengan jualan token model ICO, jadi ya masuknya ke security. Apapun yang ga pakai mining-mining di awal kek Bitcoin ya security harusnya.
