Are you delusional?
Collaborations with Qibucks, for example, is completely different from the NHZ project.
I know. If you had read my post, you would have ascertained that. As for the rest of the post, which seems to be making an attempt to showcase how the XC team is flocking to a different platform, I contend that working solely on ones own project completely autonomous from other people would tend to lead to less ideas and slower development. It's a wide range of application that XC is attempting to put together...not just one. And who works for no money? Point is, I think collaboration is a good thing and working by alone is not as advantageous as working with others...

lol u guys just now getting it? xc isn't paying off for the devs so they have to bring their technology / focus other places.
like reviewing other anon coins / chat. like taking over nhz. etc, etc.
I feel like this talking point has been run into the ground. There has been a trend with working with other devs...each coin has a different facet that applies to XC. Qibucks and the distribution of ad content for Web 3.0, Key for the honing of the OS, NHZ for the asset exchange (XC's future decentralized exchange), Utility for Content filtering (I'm guessing) in order to work out potential issues regarding malicious/illegal content and whatever else I missed. All of these things are necessary for XC to develop a wide range of features that are all built upon XC's advanced anonymity platform (which no other coin has despite collaboration; Rev 1 integrations don't count). All of these are necessary to create a user friendly and public friendly platform for when XC officially launches and beyond (ITO distribution). The coin reviews work to establish XC's reputation in the community. Everything has a purpose...a purpose designed to reinforce XC. And I'm surprised some people can't see that. I freaking love what XC is doing and have gotten to the point where I don't even watch the price anymore despite it being a major driving point for discussion by a relevant portion of contributors to this thread; I think it will come around. There are also other factors involved; BTC is down considerably and likely has an effect. Regardless...XC rocks and collaboration is not a sign of divided attention nor is it a sign of ship jumping.

Good to know...thanks guys!
Get some well deserved rest, WG...

Well looks like we are seing a slight correction as I mentioned last post... Don't stress though guys it's just day traders taking profits. The big profits will come in the medium to long term. This coin should steady out for the time being.. Expect steady climbs over the next week. Could see a slight down trend to 80k before another run. Setting more buy orders now dudes!
Not even worried...these guys are at the top of their game. Haven't sold a single one since buying in at 17...

Important question! A new TRI user, can they just run the latest wallet and sync the blockchain like normal or do they have to use the bootstrap??
I won't be able to download until tomorrow morning but that would be useful information since I do not have the old TRI wallet...

People need to stop cherry-picking my statements because the main point I was making is that XC has absolutely no business collaborating with a coin such as utilitycoin that is 1 week old, has an anonymous dev, and whose thread is only 10 pages long.
Seriously people? Come on...
Did you read any of that thread? If they are working on Content Filtering (primarily to avoid the stigma of users having to deal with illegal content/malicious data being handled by their network) then XC has a very good reason to want to be involved with such a topic and development (for XC's decentralized data distributing network). It makes perfect sense, regardless of how long the coin has been in existence or how long their thread is (incidentally, their OP mentions that they have submitted for POD from cryptoasian). I also think that Dan is probably a good judge of character and can discern the quality of the dev before going full on into anything. I don't share your concern in the least and actually think that the collaboration, if it gets to happen, will benefit XC greatly.

Am i the only one happy that Dan posted his current dealings with other coins/projects or what?
Nope. I also think that he has his reasons which have been shown to be pretty awesome in the past. Some people can't be pleased...

I totally misunderstood the disabled issue - had a few drinks last night. I bought some Tri which caused the wallet to be visible and then I saw the disabled icon and assumed everything had halted without actually trying it.
Everything is cool and I'll just wait for the wallet upgrade; everything I have is on Trex...

Here are some Killakem answers from yesterday crytpsy trollbox q&a "FibreLock is a first in crypto!! We have also implemented it into the latest bitcoin source and will make it available to the BTC community" "We have a HTML5 wallet ready to go, that supports any device" "With Block Cypher staking will be available across all of the applications - cloud staking" "Revision 2 will have end to end support of the daemon, which will allow exchanges, market places and merchants to use the daemon over TOR" I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that you guys keep doing what you're doing....because it's awesome...

Edit - Touchee
I posted earlier that Bittrex disabled their TRI trading...after I had made some transactions. Perhaps they are updating their wallet but I thought it was weird that it happened while I was in the middle of doing stuff and things. Anyhoo...didn't want FUD (I kind of dislike this generalized term but it does have meaning) to be perceived so I removed my comment voluntarily... If you have room for one more...kind of interested in what is happening here...

What does this mean? If this one person keeps pushing there will be none of what? I would like a response on Skype btw Barwizi.. I dont like being ignored.
It means, perhaps, that some relaxing needs to occur. I have been watching this coin all summer and while I don't understand the issues I see one major theme - a guy who is consistently working to make this thing work. I have watched you guys take my investment to -15x its value (not a GF holder). I still believe in this guy. He doesn't have help. Sure, it seems that he can't deliver in a 'timely fashion' what was promised but he seems to be steadily working towards it. I'm not arguing that some people might not be entitled to answers but I think he means that he is working towards fixing everything and perhaps a bit more patience is more productive than constant demands. I'm going back to the background (check my post history; I am not a shill and am doing well enough in crypto world *knock on wood* so please don't think I am here to favor...much less argue my impressions - Read - I won't reply)...

I don't see how the doxxing represents XC in a positive light at all...

Pretty awesome coin guys!
A question about the Steganography, will it have to be a picture/file that is sent between two parties or could one person post an Encrypted photo on say instagram or Pin it or any classified site and as long as the receiver of it has the private key and know which photo it is they can go and retrieve their coins?
Thanks
The instagram angle might be a fun novelty for some. Twitter bots and Reddit tips have already broken the social media barrier...no one has tried Instagram. Not sure how many people in Crypto use Instagram but...just a thought...

|
|
I hadn't thought of Steganographic cold storage...That would be awesome...

For all interested we will be hosting tomorrow Q&A at 6 PM GMT in cryptsy trollbox
Visit us also in #fibre and remember that all official announcments are released 30 minutes earlier in chat than in any other social media
That sounds cool...will definitely make an effort to be there...
|
|
|
Yes and it will be decentralised - (Proof of Identity)
Now that is some cool stuff right there...looking forward!
|
|
|
okay to use XChat, make a new local wallet address, then right click to get your Pubkey - those 2 values are what you share
however in an upcoming release, you can just use your alias/username
Awesome; Thank you!
|
|
|
All right...how do I XChat? I notice people have something set up in their signature but I don't no where my key is...
|
|
|
Nevertheless, if your network of friends and family have active commerce between you, then you become much more self-sufficient, away from evil bankers and psychopathic politicians and fictitious entities, policies, etc., with your nearly frictionless transactions.
He's right. Emphasis on active commerce within ones social circle. Kind of rare...at least in my experience...

Fibre seems to be making some very subtle inroads to some places...I think the devs are holding back some things after some pretty amazing recent progress with the OS. Definitely still watching this one...
