KLS team asked for $30,000 and 500,000 KLS for listing where as PYI team asked  for $60,000 in total
If this is true, then both projects paid approximately the same, but do you have confirmation of this information in official sources?
safar1980 wrote about raising only $30,000, and I also saw this information in telegram chats. I can't find information about the additional 500,000 KLS.

Bitcowbois, thank you for your post.

Unfortunately, I don’t know which of these sites is official, but I know that superscalar.org was registered six months earlier.
This is not a topic about selling, but only a discussion of ASICs, so check your suppliers before purchasing
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD BC-250 on: December 20, 2023, 03:54:08 PM
AMD BC-250 Mining card was a true Frankenstein of a card. Not only it features one of the kind Sony PlayStation 5 APU, it was designed for the least expected workloads for this APU: cryptomining. The last two years have been crazy enough for some companies to even consider doing this in scale, which they did. But now, with the crypto craze over, those solutions are no longer profitable to use.

ASRock’s system, which was listed for around $15K when it came out, featured twelve BC-250 cards and in a full mining chassis. These cards are equipped with Ariel/Oberon processors, which combine Zen2 and RDNA2 graphics. These APU/SoCs were used by PlayStation 5 gaming consoles. In this case, however, these are not fully functional chips, but the leftovers with partially disabled graphics which were also used for the AMD 4700S desktop kit.

605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: pyrin (PYI) mining on: December 20, 2023, 03:51:24 PM

The pyrin team very quickly raised money for listing on MEXС. But listing pyrin (PYI) costs $60,000 and listing karlsencoin(KLS) costs $30,000.
Either the pyrin team is poorly negotiating the listing or the MEXC exchange considers karlsencoin a more promising coin.

Large and high-quality server heatsinks for 3 chips on the board.
There will be no overheating or loud noise from such an ASIC, but the hashrate is not large. And the price of this device does not fall, despite the fact that there are no good coins for mining.

SuperScalar K10
$6,110.00

Support Algorithm:

KARLSEN – Firmware Installed

Alephium

Radiant(RXD)

Kaspa

Ironfish

Your product will update the newest FPGA algorithm bitstream for free.

These FPGAs will kill the entire profit of video cards in mining. The good times in GPU mining are over.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Dogether mining on: December 20, 2023, 03:16:32 PM
Dogether is a new shitcoin based on the Ethash algorithm. This is unprofitable for video cards, but if you have ASICs for the Ethash algorithm, then you can mine for increased profit for several days until all the miners find out.

EthereumPOW Disbands Core Development Team to Pursue Autonomy
EthereumPOW Core developer has signaled the dissolution of the core development team. A detailed statement from the team underscores how this move marks a significant step toward exploring ETHW’s potential to operate independently without the Core team’s support.

The team, having fulfilled essential technical and operational prerequisites, decided to dissolve the core development organization through majority consensus and extensive deliberations, manifesting a landmark shift in the organizational structure shown at the time the Ethereum Merge event took place last year.

611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: karlsencoin(KLS) mining on: December 20, 2023, 02:57:48 PM
White paper says this coin will be gpumining only but who knows. Let's hope. It seems this coin was created based on kaspa GhostDAG protocol. I recommend this project for long term at the moment, other algo that I recommend at this moment is kawpow, coins mainly, xna, rvn, mewc.

Interesting activity is expected on this coin(XNA) in Q1 2024. If you are mining the kawpow algorithm, you might want to consider switching your equipment to mine this coin in order to sell it in the 1st quarter of next year.
This applies more to owners of AMD video cards. Nvidia has more interesting coins for mining.
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Still a good time to buy KS03M kaspa mining machine? on: December 20, 2023, 02:50:00 PM
I wouldn't bother mining with a price of 0.10 euros per kWh and additional rent. Your competitors have a much lower price and the profit will fall as the coin hashrate increases. And also this ASIC cannot mine other coins. 3400W is a very high consumption for expensive electricity.
613  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Which mining stocks are holding? on: December 17, 2023, 12:54:56 PM

But I have failed to see any such mining setup and investments in the same till date that are legit and have not been scams.
If you are talking about cloud mining, then there are many difficulties in this business. The average miner has very few opportunities to buy cheap ASICs and get a good price for electricity, so most new small miners will now find it very difficult to compete with large mining companies.
Buying bitcoins or shares of mining companies is an individual choice. The stock market is more regulated by law, and many investors find it easier to buy shares while there is no Bitcoin ETF.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASIC which company on: December 17, 2023, 12:47:57 PM
According to data compiled by TheMinerMag, a dozen public mining companies have made purchase orders for spot and future stocks of bitcoin miners totaling over 70 EH/s this year so far. Their miner investment commitments total more than $1.2 billion year-to-date, with approximately $750 million signed over the past two months.
Some of those purchases have already been paid and some will be due in monthly batches over the next year and beyond. In total, public mining companies tracked by TheMinerMag have already spent $747 million in the first three quarters this year on property, plant and equipment.
Chinese miner manufacturers are set to be the biggest winners from these purchasing deals. Of the $1.1 billion investment identified by TheMinerMag, MicroBT and Bitmain account for 56% and 42%, respectively, with Canaan accounting for the rest of it.

https://theminermag.com/news/2023-12-07/miner-weekly-bitcoin-halving-investment

And next year it will be even more difficult to make profit in Bitcoin mining. Look for miners for altcoins.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Flux mining ? on: December 16, 2023, 02:41:17 PM
Flux Core launched their project.
Here is their link https://leaderboard.fluxcore.ai/

The excitement was very big, but so far they have only launched alpha version, which will work until the 2nd quarter of 2024, then there will be a beta version, where PoUW mining will possibly be tested.
At the moment this platform only supports coin mining, or in simple words it is Nicehash or Fluxhash Smiley
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASIC which company on: December 16, 2023, 02:28:50 PM
Hello Everyone,

I am new to mining and been doing a ton of research of what to buy and what to look out for.  I'm looking to buy a ASIC miner, but really don't want to pay the mark up.  Eventually I would like to mine all the types of crypto, but have to start off with something.  For example, IceRiver looks good, but on their website they are sold out. If I look on eBay there is a huge mark up on them.  Any advice where else to buy?  Do I trust the https://www.asicminervalue.com/ telling me that Akminer, Nhash, Jingle Mining, ect are trusted resellers.  Is there some where I should follow when the latest ASIC is released or a mailer list to get on?  It appears to be ahead of the game is to buy as soon as it is released.  Looking at this a just a fun hobby. Eventually would like a ASIC for each of the different cryptocurrency's probably from all different manufactures.

Thanks in advance.
If you are interested in bitcoin mining, then look at the reports of major mining companies on the cost of mining, electricity prices and the cost of purchasing ASICs. They buy ASICs in large wholesale, so their prices are much lower than on the official website.

If you buy several ASICs, you will still pay a premium, and if your electricity is still expensive, then you can pay back the investment in 1.5-3 years if the ASIC does not break down first.

617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: So I have been looking around my house and putting together rigs some questions. on: December 15, 2023, 04:33:48 PM
check also termo paste in place, radiator clean, using new(upgrading) radiator added up 20% hashrate
Thermal paste must be changed during mining, but it is better to do this when the video card’s warranty has expired. The thermal paste on a warranty video card is changed when without replacing it is impossible to mine without overheating, as was the case on video cards 3080 and 3090. The 6800xt video card is not very hot, so if there is a warranty and the temperature is low, then it is better not to open the seals.
618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: karlsencoin(KLS) mining on: December 15, 2023, 04:27:31 PM
But there is another threading here about that coin. Today it came out on trade over. It started at $5 and dropped to 12 cents at the moment of posting.
I asked the miners, and on average they sold for 13-20 cents. 5 dollars was the price when the coins could not be sent to the exchange. I sold this coin for 12.5 cents.
There is a discussion going on in the discord about a new mining algorithm. It is possible that the rumors about ASICs are true.

619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: pyrin mining on: December 15, 2023, 04:21:15 PM
tradeogre added pyrin (PYI) for trading
https://tradeogre.com/exchange/PYI-USDT

hashrate.no added video card hashrates. As always, with red video cards everything is very sad with the profit on new coins.
https://hashrate.no/coins/PYI/benchmarks

I am happy for everyone who was able to earn a good profit for at least a few days. But now the profit will fall.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it still worth mining? [RTX 4070 TI + Core I7 10th gen] on: December 15, 2023, 04:11:48 PM
I think it’s worth it. I even have a couple 1080ti GPUs running right now. They aren’t going to make me rich or anything, but they’re currently not only profitable for me, but they’re helping to warm my house. Them along with a few other (newer) graphics cards are keeping my home heater turned off while dropping some coins to my wallet.

Maybe with rigs with several video cards it could still be worth it, I only have one card and here in Brazil the energy value is high and we are in the hot season, an average day is 95 °F. Add the value mined plus an air conditioner = no profit.
There is no need for an air conditioner for your video card if you do not mine coins with high power consumption. You can remove the side panel from the case to better cool the video card and mine karlsencoin (KLS) if the profit suits you.
