X-Men won't work. Starting by their leaders, the pseudo-science (Telepathy) is the good guy and the actual science (Magnetism) is the bad one.
Then following up we've:
Wolverine: God of metal chemistry?!
Storm: What in hell is that? Despite the weather is scientific, each of its components is a area on itself.
That one that sucks strength... more pseudo-science...

I'm sorry if I didn't elaborate the idea before, the idea is to have a set of "Public Domain" licensed (this means: anybody could use) "Gods" representing science. These "Gods" are meant to be morality-neutral; "Graviton" will not care if you're a good or a bad guy when you jump of a cliff, neither does "Elektron" if you touch a naked wire.
They must also represent our best scientific knowledge to the time of publishing.
On the anti-heroes we could use this model to represent, and in this case to mock, pseudo-science too, like "Homeopatheticus" or "Vaccinus-Austistus".
602  Other / Politics & Society / The Science Patheon on: December 06, 2015, 02:43:47 PM
As more and more people comes to side with science, why don't we (re-)create its pantheon for entertainment and representation purposes?

Let me start with two Gods:

Graviton: The God of Gravity
Elektron: The God of Electricity

603  Other / Politics & Society / Re: London stabbing: "This is for Syria", "You're not muslim!" on: December 06, 2015, 10:42:17 AM
Why?! Why not? Wasn't it what Muhammad did?
If you hate "those muslims" it actually means you hate Islam and just keep calling yourselves muslims for unknown reasons, maybe cultural background.
Why noy simply face the fact that Islam is an outdated hateful ideology? Religions can die, all it takes is its members to come to their senses and reason.
604  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: December 06, 2015, 10:25:19 AM
Not all nazis were up to kill jews too...
I don't give a F about what Muslims do, the problem is their ideology and no matter how many peaceful are there, as long as the ideology survives it's just a matter of time until some take more seriously its instruction manual.
605  Other / Politics & Society / Re: London stabbing: "This is for Syria", "You're not muslim!" on: December 06, 2015, 02:16:30 AM
C'mon! "Real Muslims" are like unicorns and fairies: They don't exist!
That thing is so shredded and beyond repair that all I can see is (what we call) Muslims complaining about (what we also call) Muslims being heretic and not "real Muslims". If even themselves can't tell what a "real Muslim" is, how can we?!  Roll Eyes
606  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: December 06, 2015, 02:00:46 AM
Don't get me wrong there, there's plenty of stuff from Islam I don't mind. I don't care what they believe, if they eat pork or not, if they drink or not, if they pray ass up or upside down in a pool, and so on...
My only issue with it is the violent, misogynistic, compulsory and predatory behavior coming out from their "instructions manual". And I don't apply this rule to Islam alone, any other with similar behavior I will give it the very same treatment.
607  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: December 05, 2015, 07:03:30 PM
As an atheist too I couldn't care less of what books wrote by people who think Earth is flat say, but I acknowledge their influence in some nowadays human behavior.
608  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: December 05, 2015, 10:25:00 AM
The Hadith are a complement to Islam, they are a sort of the perfect muslim biography.
Still you don't need to resource it if you seek violence, the Quran has enough of violent orders to follow.
609  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: December 05, 2015, 10:05:47 AM
Sorry to disappoint you, but no religion, or ideology, is "peaceful". This roots out from the fact that, despite we keep listening to it, nobody wants "peace in the world", because under such we would become meaningless dewellers crushed under the unbearable weight of the purpose of our existence. To seek purpose we came up with that "world peace" thing, which most understand as "there will be peace if they obey me".

However some ideologies and methods can cause too much havoc out of our seek for conflicts. And whatever worked for Christians will cause the opposite effect if applied to Islam; illiterate Christians are more violent so literacy (education) may calm them down... but not for Islam! Illiterate Muslims are way more peaceful than educated ones. This comes from the set example, the foundation rock; Xtians are told to take Jesus as a perfect example, so if they actually know what Jesus did they will become more peaceful, Islam does the same but with Muhammad and this last one was anything but peace.
Same goes to Democracy; works with other religions, because they're "just it", causes havoc at Islam because Islam is itself a political system and a totalitarian one, unwilling to share its space with anything.
610  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: December 05, 2015, 12:47:04 AM
So you don't hate Islam however think it needs to kill some ISIS members because they're "evil"... by following Islam to the letter?!  Huh
And don't mistake Islam for anything you know, the Quran is composed by direct commands, not by stories or metaphors open to any interpretation.

I believe one entry in the hadith sums it up:
Quote from: Hadith - Bukhari 4:668, Narrated Abu Huraira

Allah's Apostle said, "The Jews and the Christians do not dye (their grey hair), so you shall do the opposite of what they do (i.e. dye your grey hair and beards)."

That's what Islam is by design; "do the opposite of what they (other religions) do", and from there comes the issue westerns have to understand it.
611  Other / Politics & Society / Re: China Continues to Tear Down Crosses From Zhejiang's Churches on: December 04, 2015, 12:00:11 AM
?!
There isn't any doubt about his existence as far as I know. There're records of his existence. But not of him ordering a crucification of Jesus (other than the Bible, that is)...
612  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: December 03, 2015, 11:54:18 PM
Indeed, however is somewhat strange if you look at such time! If I take my ex-wife for example, she is Indonesian, her parents the mother was Muslim and father Catholic, so her mother became Catholic and there wasn't much fuzz about it. At my World side, I don't know any mixed-with-Islam couple of their age, to the best Catholic-Protestant, despite we're not that far from Morocco.
So it means by mid-20th Indonesia was way more tolerant than here, nowadays things looks the other way around. Maybe it's a Yin-Yang thing and one has to darken when the other enlightens to keep the balance...

The best way is to go there by yourself...  Roll Eyes
Other than that, learn Arabic and read their local news, watch their channels. I won't say it's out-of-this-world or a terror, but a bit "outdated" with religion too much at the center of society. A bit like Catholic Europe up to mid XX Century.

From our media, all you'll get is the "terrorist shows" in an overwhelming hypocrite fashion, like 2000 Nigerians are killed and no line about it, 120 French and you get news 24/7 for over a week. But not by "real muslims" (never forget it)... and comes clear there are no "real muslims", maybe muslims are just a myth by now...

What evidence that Jesus Christ ever existed? The first references to him appears some 70 years after his death and there's no record of any crucifixion of such person ordered by Pilates.
Jesus most likely is just a character in the romance we call the Bible - we know for sure that many stories of the Old Testament were assorted Middle Eastern legends rewritten to have a Jew as the main character.

Pilates existed and the proof is there already.

http://www.bible-history.com/empires/pilate.html

Pilates existed, so did Herod, but that proves nothing about Jesus. Actually Herod proves it to be wrong, as he died on 4 b.C., 4 years before the supposed birth of Jesus. Also the census, that xtians are celebrating now, happened by 6 a.C. Means that by 9 a.C. a guy dead for 15 years ordered to chase children... sounds legit!

"Oh but the son and successor of Herod was also Herod"... right, but Matthew 2:22 says:
«But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning in Judea in place of his father Herod,...»
This leaves no doubt about who it talks about.

This historical incoherence comes from the fact that your religion was actually MADE UP by 50 a.C. by Saul of Tarsos (Paul) and its first historical reference would come by Josephus at the end of I Century a.C. (or after Nobody to be more accurate)

The "media" can be your religious books...
Stop blaming others for your own shit or go around with conspiracy theories! Yes, the media is manipulated, but mostly on your favor, most westerns have no clue what's going on on Iran, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and so on, they're just shown "the terrorist show" followed by "they are not real muslims" crap.
616  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is religious people an added risk to business? on: December 03, 2015, 03:11:21 PM
You got my point BADecker, however it looks like you don't quite know what "risk assessment" is. Probably because Vod's comment about hiring people you think it was (just) about it.
But you're right, "Because almost all the religions have a method for relieving the person from his guilt for mistakes he makes." (...) "because he doesn't have any guilt slowing him down."

This, under risk assessment means HIGH RISK of default! Red flag! Because risk assessment means how likely or unlikely someone is to default on their contracts, including credit, contractor, logistics and so on. So, as I said early, it looks like religious folks tend to use their "morality relief" to not "have any guilt slowing them down" of default either on present or in future contracts.
617  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is religious people an added risk to business? on: December 03, 2015, 12:30:29 PM
You gotta tell me which religion expanded by "respecting others" to stand your theory.

Edit; to not mention respect is earn, not given, and a two way street.
That of respecting religions is a funny one, "you got to respect my religion... Btw, my religion says you are shit/devil/whatever".
618  Other / Politics & Society / Is religious people an added risk to business? on: December 03, 2015, 09:17:58 AM
When it comes to business and scam and default prevention, religious people have some "moral leverages" as an example:
- A Muslim may feel it to be alright to scam a non-believer, as that's what his religion states.
- A Christian have an imaginary friend that forgives anything (and by anything it means really anything, from scam to kill the creditors).
IDK much about other religions, but they may have also some "moral relief" systems.

So, should we add to account a "too religious" at risk assessment?

Who does stir business with religion?!  Shocked
All USD are "haram", they have pictures of kafir, however I'm yet to find a Muslim refusing to accept it...

About the "business", it's an obvious scam as franky told you. So just stay away of it.

Come on dude. Thats the extremist shit that ISIS believes. A normal Muslim uses fiat and even invests in the stock market. Haram in this case would be gambling which binary options fall under so yes haram to OP.

Asking if some scam is haram or halal is pretty much ISIS in itself.
These guys put their cursed religion in front of everything! Those others you call "normals" are just the ones with a brain able to think for themselves or not caring much about religion anyway.
So, the OP answer is: It's a scam, and it is a scam for whatever religion or unreligion you belong to. Stay away!
