601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 14, 2022, 08:36:41 AM
Chelsea are trying to retaliate after Barcelona have completed the signing of Raphinha. Chelsea's plan is to steal Lewandowski from them by reaching an agreement with Bayern Munich somehow. However it is going to be too hard for them like it has been for Barcelona. Bayern Munich have rejected three offers so far for Lewandowski. I wonder what Chelsea are thinking of to be able to convince them. If Barcelona also reach an agreement then I don't think Chelsea would stand a chance because Lewandowski's intention is to play for Barcelona.
Look like here Chelsea management feeling embarrassment with lost of Raphinha and now working on Robert Lewandowski which is already have desired for playing into Barcelona and FC Bayern Munich already rejected three offers from them even now they have some better chance of having players like Ronaldo and Neymar both are available for them, but they are in talk with FC Bayern Munich for possible transfer of Robert Lewandowski but here again another chance of embarrassment of them because most chances Barcelona is not going to leave this most chances they will try to reach out with them for possible transfer to Barcelona which is most chances can go in their favor.
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 13, 2022, 07:40:56 PM
Predicting Bayern is a champions in Bundesliga is a most boring prediction. Therefore the odds for betting it is not attractive but in most of season, you win. We will have to wait for a first half of season to see how Bayern and their competitors perform to predict final ending of season. I hope that we will have a more interesting season with this transitional season for Bayern.
Have you forgotten about the World Championship which will divide next season? Yes, Bayern will most likely be champions again without too much trouble, but in other more competitive championships (I think Italian and English) the world championship will be a factor that will make a difference. It is obvious that the shape of the players before and after the World Cup will be different, both depending on the result of the tournament and on who plays how many games there.
I am pretty sure that teams would probably rest a bit before they continue playing again, and there would be some players who will get even more rest. The one thing that worries me is injuries. Any big name player that gets injured during world cup would be a big trouble to their teams, and not even while playing for the team, could happen in the national team which would create a trouble.

This is why I believe that it wouldn't matter "too much" if all goes well. If there are zero injuries for example, then just a few game rest and they could come back. Yes players will play a lot more games this year, but the leagues starting a bit early, and then players taking a small rest would make it break even.
603  Economy / Economics / Re: Top Crypto Heist as of to Date, Are your Fund in peril? on: July 13, 2022, 07:08:35 PM
the hard truth about any hacking incident is - even if we ask responsibility from the platform itself, it is not an assurance that you will get your funds back.
Yes, because they can lie when they say that they are going to be responsible for our funds but they have an intention to scam us later on. If we are lucky our funds can be returned once those scammers have been successfully caught out by the authorities.

it is still on your hands how you will secure your portfolio. this is why, if you are using a third party trading platform, better use them while you are actively trading. but if not, better transfer it to your own wallet where you have your own keys. some of these hacking incidents may be inside job in disguise. but would take years before someone will prove such connection to that employee. so why not just secure your own funds and not rely to these third party websites in storing your funds?
This is easy if you are not an active trader but what if you are one of them? Depositing and withdrawing every time you make a trade can be time consuming and can also be costly because you are paying fees left and right. There are some which aren't actively trading but stores their cryptos on some platform because they are earning a passive income thru it. The case can take years to find out the results, that is if the investigators are not good enough on doing their jobs.
604  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022? on: July 13, 2022, 06:14:49 PM
with the current price at $20K+ it looks like it will be difficult to make ATH renewable this year, likely to move better in November. and even then it might be able to approach ATH which will occur during the upcoming halving.
If the history repeats itself then yeah we can feel the rise on November. I think last year (2021) the price did start to jump also on the month of November but on other years the increase starts as early as September and October. When the last ath which was 69k is already recovered it will then be now easier to move upwards to record a new all time high.

There is no need for us to wait till the next halving only to see a new ath. That was crazy long and I think before that happens, many of us have already sold our coins because people have been waiting for so long and badly want's to sell once they see a price higher than the usual 20k.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was the coupling of Bitcoin to fiat a mistake? on: July 13, 2022, 05:51:52 PM
From my observations, the more the regulators go against Bitcoin, the more it evolves into what seems to be a liberated global currency. By my thinking, the rebellious nature of the Bitcoin community against the old, corrupt generation of money and its corrupt services (like banks) is what drives the evolution of Bitcoin. So why not let that nature loose?
It wasn't because how can they be able measure the value of bitcoin? And the reason why btc value rose is because someone buys it using their fiat. The reason why bitcoin is created is for us to have an alternative to the existing currencies and not because it was a replacement to all of them so it's fine if btc can work together with other payment methods.

It is still possible to obtain a bitcoin without using a fiat. You can mine it, get in faucets, or work for someone else and prefer btc as payment. You can also spend your bitcoin directly on almost anything so there is no need for you to sell your btc for fiat if you are allergic to it.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear markets are a time for building, development and research on: July 12, 2022, 06:10:07 PM
I believe that there must be a million projects who are waiting for the bull period right now. I know some of them, they are literally just waiting for the current situation to pass and that way they would be able to get it out when the bull comes.

It is not going to be a perfect time, but it is not going to be impossible to wait neither, it is just simply waiting. They keep on improving and making it better and better and better basically. This is why I believe that we shouldn't be shocked about the fact that there aren't that many projects these days. Believe me, the moment we pass 30k there will be some, and when we pass 68k, there will be a thousand more coins for sure.
More than a million projects to be honest, lol. All waiting for the bear to be over, I don’t know if I have ever heard that there will be a million projects waiting for the bear season to come. Some prefer bear, some prefer bull, the truth is: if everything is well planned out, markets are well understood, charts reviewed properly; projects can blossom very well in any condition, all it will cost is proper risk management. In my opinion, if you are serious on your project then all the times are good for building and all other related activities and it is not just limited to bear market.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong Hands Are Buying on: July 12, 2022, 05:35:10 PM
It's a common sense not a rocket science when the price drops really hard then the whalers are starting to buy on dip for hoping to get some profit in the future. Who knows the price would suddenly go up really fast and people might lose the opportunity on dip, but that's just a speculation of course. Just make sure to always do some research first before doing any kind of transaction especially in this kind of situation.
It’s actually common sense to be honest, for any trader to know that when the price of a volatile asset drops to about 10-20% of the highest it was, it’s only wise that you buy at that point, you do not necessarily need to be a strong hand in order to buy an asset at its lowest price especially Bitcoin.

Buy the dip, that’s the rule and it is believed that investors must have known this by now, traders should not be issue.
Unfortunately the nature of dropping this big shows that there are a lot of people who sell, and people do not follow your logic :/ I mean if they did, then we wouldn't be this low, from 68k to under 20k means that there must have been a ton of people selling tens of thousands of bitcoins, even at low prices, in order for us to reach here. That's how the market works, people need to sell in order for the price to drop, so when we are at this much bottom that means people didn't follow that logic.

This is why there are a lot of people right now who are accumulating, they know that others made a mistake, and they won't make the same mistake with them and gather as much as they could.
608  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka Economic Crisis is Getting Worse on: July 12, 2022, 08:31:21 AM
Seeing this on social media, I don't really understand the real condition but mismanagement is most often the reason why a country goes bankrupt, mismanagement includes high corruption.
Found this news that Protestors find millions in cash at Sri Lanka President Rajapaksa's mansion which attracted protesters not to take the money but instead returned it to the authorities in contrast to corrupt officials that made this country bankrupt.
We are now in a global crisis and that is probably the reason on why the situation got worse in Sri Lanka. Corrupt or not I think a mismanagement can always happen because maybe those who manage their country is not knowledgeable enough or still has a lack of experience. This is why before we vote, it is always advise to vote wisely and only choose those who are really fit for the position because running a country is not child's play.

I am only wondering if how those protesters entered the mansion. Isn't abandoned or what? But they did a good job there of reporting the money that they found. Keeping the money and spending it by themselves can only worsen the situation.
609  Economy / Speculation / Re: 4hr chart! on: July 11, 2022, 07:04:35 PM
Market recovery maybe around December to January looking from the candle above there is a strong resistance between the Buyers and Holders.  Which will actually cause panic among holders to sell off but with all indications viewing from 1 week chart we might expect $16k to $14k dump in price.
https://i.imgur.com/iBXgege.png
That is my personal view and analysis though we can't fully predict what outcome maybe.
Yeah, I agree with this. With the very long run upward last year to the market, I don't think the correction or dumps recently will only last in just a short period of time. As others said, "Crypto Winter" so for me, it will take more months or even years.
Let's just be ready for anything. Not every day is Christmas day.
I can feel the holidays here already because you use the term Christmas and then winter but speaking of winter, a real winter last only for up to 3 months but this crypto winter we are having now has been running since last year because the drop started at December 2021 right? But, no doubt that there is nothing better than being ready or prepared for what's going to happen next.

This is why people now are buying because they think this bear will end soon. People here are now ready for the bull run but there might be some that is still ready for the real bottom, that is why they are preparing a good amount of cash, in case it suddenly occurs.
610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 11, 2022, 02:40:28 PM
ICC does not have any progressive approach as they are satisfied with what is happening in the cricket world. They do not attempt to increase either revenue or the number of teams that play regularly. This is how ICC is fundamentally different from FIFA. They value the opinion of every team regardless of whether the team is large or small. On the other hand, ICC really doesn't care about the smaller teams' opinions; they only care about keeping the bigger teams - the big four - happy and vice versa.
Ever since IPL is introduced, icc went completely in control of bcci while CA and ECB already have tight control over icc. If cricket need to grow then icc must also give weight to opinion of small boards and associate teams. It's best in interest of big 3 that cricket remains confined to these 10 countries only.
One thing is sure with current system and approach by B-3 ICC can't be beneficial for this game, and we can't expect any positive change in coming years because this mindset is just having deep pockets and this is filled by IPL, so they are feeling happy and staying with same tactics which are not fruitful for game and fans.

Few decades back ICC were controlled by Australia and England, and they were doing things which give them favor, so we lost few good teams and now these two added a Gold Chick which is filling their money desire, and they have strong hold so most chances we will never been able to have very significant changes in game and system.
611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin Fall?? on: July 10, 2022, 08:54:31 PM
I want to believe you are asking "what if Bitcoin fails"?, well, to this, i will honestly tell you that Bitcoin has gone to far to fail, if you were asking this question in 2010 or 2011 or even 2012, then i would have said "if Bitcoin fails, we all will forget about it and move on with life", but asking this question in this year 2022 with all that Bitcoin have achieved so far is kind of absurd, but i understand that as a newbie, you probably need some assurance from the community and i believe you gotten it, Bitcoin can not fail, it has gone too far the fail, a lot of reputable businesses around the world now accept Bitcoin payments, if Bitcoin was a joke that will in any time in the future fail, this businesses having done their due diligence before deciding to accept payments in Bitcoin wouldn't have .
I agree that it is not going to fail at all. There is no logical argument about something that reached about 2 trillion dollars (all crypto) to be zero. Sure there are times when it goes down, but there are times when the market crashes in anything. We have seen oil to be negative ffs, that is more than enough to see how it could be done.

At some point, you would need to literally pay to sell your oil, does that make any sense to anyone really? Like if people told you to sell your bitcoins.... and PAY to do it? This is why it makes sense to me that in the end result, bitcoin is one of the most trustworthy ones, and sure it could have bad periods, but it is going to be awesome.
612  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance remove BTC trade fees to mark 5th anniversary on: July 10, 2022, 04:02:15 PM
This is very good news. Day traders like me will love this news. Smiley As far as I remember, a similar campaign was applied for market makers in BUSD pair. Trading volumes in BUSD pairs were quite low. Therefore, there was no effective campaign. This campaign is definitely the right one. Including all local currencies in the campaign is also a very good decision. Because this may also make more new users prefer Binance... As a result, both Binance and we will win. Smiley
Good news for those who are actively trading in binance which uses btc as their main coin but I think it can also have an effect to the btc price, making it move volatile due the ongoing trades on the said platform. I see that binance have done a similar campaign before but only for a different coin. It's no surprise if they do it only to improve the volume of the coin.

For bitcoin, it's impossible for its volume to go down since this was a popular coin but it's nice if they will help btc to become more in demand. They know that other coins can benefit once btc pumped up. This is better than doing the same campaign for other coins which requires effort and time.
613  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How trading during bear market can save your portfolio on: July 09, 2022, 09:23:50 PM
This has happened to me a lot of times before. I have traded or held a lot of coins back in my day and still doing it, but when I started trading some of that, I have lost so much time to time, earned a lot as well I can't lie, so it's fine but those times when I lost, took a lot of the profit part of it back. Yes, I believe that it is very important for people to realize how important your profits are and how quickly they could go away.

Just focus on making as much money as you could, or just give up, because you can't really find anything else that would be as troublesome as the feeling of a loss for futile attempt. Just useless loss you could have avoided.
Yeah, it happens to all of us. We just make a good chunk of profit and then it goes down. This is why I believe that we shouldn't really consider trading as a pure profit thing, there are losses here and there. What I also would like to point out is the fact that crypto is not just a pure thing where you make a ton of money in any method, not just trading but all involved.

Definitely long term investment looks more profitable, but what about the people who did that with Luna? Or bch? bsv? So, there are some coins that will go down too. Which is why I believe trading is still fine, because long term investment could turn out to be a wrong thing if you pick the wrong one too.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy some low cap coins on: July 09, 2022, 08:36:17 PM
If the market trend will bounce back, then it's true that the profits might be more than how bank can provide.

Though we needed also to consider the kind of risk that you might experience if the market will not
favor your investment.

A waiting game that needed to overcome, it's up to your good judgement in how you'll be compensated with
the risk that you take when buying a low cap coins and wait till it pumps high.
Banks aren't profitable but they are only good at securing your money. They can give you an interest if you store your funds on them but that was too low and the profits that we can earn during the bear is still much more than it because in this bear, we can still be able to trade a crypto as the movement of the coins are up and down.

The only downside here is that investing in cryptos are very risky due to their volatility and there are so many factors which can affect the market. The OP came up with a good list however only few of them are now doing well. Matic is the top performing coin among them during this bear season.
615  Economy / Economics / Re: Zimbabwe resorts to gold coins as local currency tumbles on: July 09, 2022, 03:02:06 PM
Instead of adopting the US dollar as a legal tender, why not borrow a leaf from El Salvador and Central African Republic and use BTC?
I think this would have been better for Zimbabwe instead of the dollar since fiat has failed them already. The corruption that collapsed the Zimbabwean currency will also have an adverse effect on the dollar. There is alot of benefit for approval of bitcoin in Zimbabwe and one is that those Zimbabweans working out of the shores of there country can transfer money home through bitcoin and that can rejuvenate their economy through investment and hodling naturally may increase individual earnings and the currency can get back in value.
Dollar is still a fiat but dollar is definitely much stronger than some local currencies out there although inflations can't still be totally avoided. Some of us thinks' that btc can solve the issue about inflation but lately it's been proven that it wasn't true at all but it's still better if a country would adopt btc even if not as a legal tender as it can still bring some benefits and one of it is like you said about money transfer.

I am only not sure if investing in btc can help a country itself but it can surely help the people that will do that. The only question that I have in my head right now if is zimbabwe will allow btc because you said that this country is corrupt.
616  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible that all cryptocurrency will become regulated? on: July 08, 2022, 08:42:45 PM
Cryptocurrencies are gaining a lot of popularity and will be used in a greater number of areas in the near future, so regulations are inevitable in our time. The government is the creator of this world and controls us, so they won't let anyone unchecked live in the world they govern. Crypto is a highly profitable sector, so I don't think the government will want to skip a big tax from crypto, like it or not, we'll have regulations from them soon.
There is no "regulation" for crypto itself though, that is the good thing. Like for example bitcoin itself won't be regulated, however what you do with that crypto will be regulated, and is regulated in most parts of the world. Which means that if you decide to stay anonymous then there is nothing that anyone could do to you.

Of course this brings in some scare, if you get caught for example, but it shows the world that it's such a decentralized market that you are not going to be getting that money stolen even by government. This allows people to feel free, and that freedom is the reason why I picked crypto, because I didn't want government to be able to screw it up.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 08, 2022, 05:09:18 PM

The problem is I still don't believe that the new boss "Galtier" is going to be able to bring in results that will be much better compared to what PSG did in the last season. But I do hope that they will be able to do their best. this team has the potential to be one of the best in the world but it did not bring any results like that and in my opinion, the coach is the one to blame.
Galtier is a disciplined coach with strict rules for his players but PSG will be a biggest club he manages so far in his career. He will have a real challenge in PSG with his biggest pressure ever and with many star players there. Even if he can control PSG players, avoid and handle conflicts well, it does not mean he can bring PSG to Champions League title.

At least PSG can hope that Galtier can force their players to be more professional, more disciplined, take care of their bodies better and perhaps perform better.
If Galtier can settle things in discipline with his rules then surely he can take some better results because this is very important for success just follow things which bring all players on one level and PSG is having no rules about this with something special treatment for Mbappé and Neymar is creating some issues and just because of this they are fail in discipline and having no required results even they are ruling in French League, but their results in Champions League is not as they want.

In French League there is no competition for them quality is big difference even Monaco is doing some better but still much behind and Marseille is also having no luxury like PSG but still having some good results which are no enough for staying on level with PSG.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China warns Bitcoin is heading to zero on: July 08, 2022, 11:38:01 AM
They are spreading FUD about bitcoin for a very long time now and I'm sure they're the ones who profit most because of FUDS like these. I hope newbies should learn what kind of FUD they will be scared of, FUDs like these are weak. I myself are immune on FUDs relating to china, It's been many years since china is fudding bitcoin. So I think I developed a resistance to their FUDs. The only one who will be worried about FUDs like these are the newbies  who don't know how china doing it till today.
They were the ones that profit the most? That cant be, I thought they banned btc long time ago? This is the reason why it's easy for them to say those things. They also want to encourage others to do the same but that cant be. Why will we ignore something which we can get a benefit? A fud is a fud, no matter what kinds of it, all of them are still negative and should be ignored as that can affect someone who is so positive towards bitcoins.

This FUD came from a big country so I don't think this is weak. What is weak are those fuds came from a mouth of a random people. No one believes on it even the noobest member of this space.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best time of the day to buy Bitcoin on: July 07, 2022, 06:07:01 PM
Market condition is not soo good yet . and we can see more dip . so i think it is not time to buy yet. we should wait some more weeks or months and analyse the market. bitcoin have possibly to brack $15k and then $13k so investing in cryptocurrency still high risy
I do not think that it would drop to those levels. By the looks of it the price seems to be going fine, and I believe that we will probably be doing fine even longer. I know that it is not going to be 100k or something in a jiff, but it is going to be going higher and higher even if it's small amounts. Like for example I expect it to be 30k by the time summer ends, and probably 40k by the time year ends.

Now, these are not huge increases of course, I accept that but it is better than going down. After that? Well, in 2023 it's anyone's guess, it could break the ATH, or it could barely reach 60k and drop a bit more down again, and wait for the halving to happen.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roller coasters!!! on: July 07, 2022, 01:14:32 PM
couldn't really call it a rollercoaster since the real rollercoaster of a cryptocurrency market has occured at around luna crash.
currently it's just floating around 19k - 20k and it's definitely normal, even at bullish things like this also occured.
though most of altcoins right now are indeed having high volatility that the movement of their value varies a lot like celcius
I think the luna crash do also qualify for the term roller coaster but btc is more fit to this since we all see how btc price keeps on changing, going up and down from 19k to 20k and vice versa. There are times it goes down below 19k and above 20k which represents like a real roller coaster because it goes slowly at first then you will be surprised later on that the movement is going fast and more intense.

We think the range 19k and 20k is normal for btc, that's because we are already use this. How many months now have passed since we first started to hit those value's? I even almost for got it. A bullish market works differently. Price usually increase non stop and rarely became stable.
