601  Economy / Economics / Re: Acceptance of bitcoin as a payment! on: March 06, 2019, 12:59:06 PM
The truth is bitcoin is nowhere close to being a standard payment method in commerce.  It currently can't scale to any meaningful level and the price is much too volatile for any retailer to hold it.  It has become more of digital gold at this point.  How many stores accept gold? Very few but it still has value.
602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trader Brutally Tortured on: March 06, 2019, 12:53:15 PM
Why isn't that is happening to people like Roger Ver and Vitalik? They aren't running around with a security team.  This guy was probably involved in some shadyt dealings and got what was coming to him.
603  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with small budget on: March 05, 2019, 06:24:56 PM
I'm more concerned that you only have $1 dollar for trading.  What is your economic situation like if you dont mind me asking.

If you are a knowledgeable trader you can grow your initial stack very rapidly with compounding but many new people fail.
604  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Rats, Public Defecation And Open Drug Use on: March 05, 2019, 06:22:07 PM
There is no better example of the failure of liberal politics in my eyes.  It amazes me that these people actually want to see the rest of the country move in this direction and lambast the middle Americans that want no part of this lifestyle.

They are enabling them..
This is the same reason you don't feed the seagulls at the beach or the gators at the golf course, because if you do they will come in droves and stay..
Creatures tend to go to the best habitat. When they create the best habitat for homeless people they come and you get a large population of them.

What do you suggest as a solution then?  These homeless people have to go somewhere and then that city has the same problem.

Maybe the most obvious solution is to give homeless people homes, who would of thought.  Maybe instead of spending 600 billion on the military they could put something towards the homeless.
605  Other / Meta / Re: Selling of merits and btctalk accounts on: March 05, 2019, 06:11:04 PM
I actually hated it when BCT added the merit system . I mean it will be very hard to rank up now compared to the system before wherein you just keep posting anything . Account selling is already there tho even before the merit system . After the merit system was intorduced , I feel like that BCT accounts are now higher in value . Merit selling is present also , but we have active members here on BCT who keeps track of those people who are involved in these kind of exchange/selling of merits.
The problem with the new system is that the majority of the Full Members and higher have received ranks without doing anything for it, however, they can be fraudsters or provide false information, hiding behind their rank. This is wrong! When introducing a new system, it was necessary to reset all accounts.

Thats one of the major problems, many people achieved hero and legendary status just by spamming before the merit system was introduced.  It is incredibly unfair for people that joined after but I guess thats how life goes.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone hedge your mining income? on: March 05, 2019, 06:06:34 PM
I have 80 gpus 1070s , 470s and some z9s and a F1 Blackminer with .049 KHW power been mining for 2 years.  I'm not making 2k a month anymore lol more like $1400 before electricity

Do those bots work?  I've traded stocks and futures for 20 years and I could never get any type of bot to work.

The bots you see for sale do not really look.  If they bots were successful the wouldn't be for sale in the first place as the owner would rather use it himself to make profits.  The only ones that are worth anything are private and not for sale.
607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Casino Affiliate Marketing Tips on: March 05, 2019, 06:00:19 PM
Spamming ref links is a good way to lose friends and interest of other people.  I've seen many youtubers lose popularity after selling out to sponsors and doing paid content.  Make sure the people you are targeting are already interested in the service, if your using a gambling affiliate only go after gamblers.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A quick cancellation can make a profit? on: March 05, 2019, 05:54:38 PM

When you have a feeling that today will be your bad day in gambling, that means you are in a bad mood and it is better to stop till you can get your good mood again. Tbh, when we are in a bad feeling, then we tend to make some decisions badly too. Clear mind or good mood is something that take a big role in our gambling actions.

Basically what I was thinking, sometimes the most profitable thing is not to lose money.    The other route people have recommended that I agree with is to reduce size but not everyone can do that and continue with the same attitude and enjoyment even as they normally would.   Step away for a break is massively under rated in terms of money control and just not playing tired, drunk etc.   all going to save money very probably

These posts are the most common sense things I've read, does it even need to be said.  "The most profitable this is not to lose money" Ok captain obvious,  How do I win money in Gambling?   The best way to win money is to win!.........
609  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much Bitcoin to accumulate now to be financially set after the next boom? on: March 01, 2019, 02:16:17 PM
Everyone has different spending habits and different standards of living.  The amount some of these celebrities spend seem absurd to us but normal to them.  Johnny Depp was spending over $50k a month on wine, buying multiple islands and houses, spent $millions to shoot someone's ashes out of a cannon.
610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Calls Bitcoin A Brilliant Technology, Even Better Than Paper Money on: March 01, 2019, 02:08:42 PM
Funny because Bill Gates who is considered a tech genius is against bitcoin.  He is best friends with Warren Buffet and we all know what Warren thinks of btc.  They obviously have an agenda to see it fail.
611  Economy / Economics / Re: Craig Wright is once again claiming he's Satoshi on: February 28, 2019, 01:55:18 PM
Just goes to show that even wealthy people can be fooled by a good charmer.  The billionaire Calvin Ayre is backing Craigh Wright and his claims that he is satoshi.

I don't think the real Satoshi would ever want to reveal himself as he seemed like a really private person.
612  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading Bots Comparison on: February 28, 2019, 01:46:53 PM
Trading bots you see for sale are almost always a complete scam.  If they had bots that were actually successful they would use it themselves to generate money instead of having to shill their program.
613  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: Our capitalist minds don't let us evolve. on: February 28, 2019, 01:39:40 PM
Capitalism won't solve the problems that help society the most, it will always look for the most profit.

-Why cure diseases and illnesses when profit can be made off them?

-Why have efficient energy for free when profit is to be from oil?

-can keep listing ending examples like this

We are losing many great minds as well to people stuck in the capitalistic system.  They have to struggle just for basic needs like shelter and food as their talents and abilities go to waste.
614  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Current situation, how investors/traders are enriching these three. on: February 28, 2019, 01:34:37 PM
excellent points here but I wouldn't really call them "investors" because an investor usually has some minimal experience and some brain function that he uses to analyze and research the thing he is putting his money into. these people who keep investing in shitcoins and ICOs are more like a bunch of desperate people who want to make profit so bad but they have no idea how to do it. the result is of course disastrous. and the damage is not just to their own pocket but also they are damaging the whole market with them giving the scammers the boldness to continue doing their crap.

To be fair bitcoin really did look like a scam from a normal person's perspective.  Some anonymous person keeps 1 million coins to himself while bitcoin is promoted as the new currency.  Really looked like a pyramid scam from the outside and many big names still call it a scam.

Warren Buffet is one of the smartest investors and calls bitcoin complete shit so........
615  Economy / Economics / Re: ‘Crypto not meant for humans’ says Anthony Pompliano on: February 28, 2019, 01:31:38 PM
I've read some crazy theories that bitcoin was created by artificial intelligence and they will use it one day to take over the world.  Sounds insane or does it if you really think about it? Smiley
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal fears Bitcoin :) PayPal CEO Dan Schulman Disses BTC & Praises Blockchain on: February 28, 2019, 01:28:19 PM
Lol, this isn't surprising.  Paypal stands to lose a business if crypto becomes the preferred payment method.  This is just like Warren Buffet calling bitcoin rat poison when he holds la large percentage of banks and credit card companies.  These guys will criticize anything that threatens their bottom line.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steve Wozniak former Apple ceo is asked about his view on bitcoin on: February 28, 2019, 01:20:34 PM
As it stands right now it would be impossible for bitcoin to be the world's single currency.  It can't handle that many transactions per second to handle all the commerce in the world.
618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale Work? on: February 28, 2019, 01:16:56 PM
AFAIK, martiangle should be consider for short term gambling.
So when you have reach at least 5 or 10% profit, better stop and start tomorrow or change to the other method.

Just like OP did, even if you have done complicated math, the result always same, you will loss at the end !

IF your playing a game with a house edge which is all of them, the best thing to do is place a small number of bets and walk away when your in profit.  The more you play then the closer the results will be towards the expected odds.
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The baddest (as in good) 2 card budget mining setup? on: February 27, 2019, 01:45:03 PM
You will make more if you use your $600 and just buy coins instead.  You probably don't want to hear this but the days of the small miner are over.  If your doing this for a hobby and not for maximum profit go and continue with your build.
I have heard this before and I think it's a short sighted point of view. When litecoins went Asic the miners dumped their GPUs and said the same thing. Then a coin like eth came and launched and if you bought those used GPU you could mine a ton for a small amount.

You still would of made more money if you just sold the gpus and bought eth instead.  You can go back and look at the past charts, you always make more money just by buying the coins instead of investing in mining hardware.
620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Playoffs 2019 Prediction Pool on: February 27, 2019, 01:32:50 PM
Lebron in LA is good team then with many players that can shoot 3 point and 2 big center, Curry,Thompson,Durant,Cousin in GS so they also have many good star player there,In Rockets Harden,Capela,Chris Paul so they have good player, then this is my last team Boston Celtics with a lot of many players also so for me this four are can win a championship in NBA so that's unpredictable like crypto investment because there's a lot of good team that can win
Do you evn have watch NBA? Lakers is one of the worst team right now, with or without LeBron. Looks like LeBron is going to miss the playoffs for the first time in last 13 years and I'm happy for that because I know next season he's going to come back and show all of them who LeBron is and what he's capable of doing.

Christian is a sig spammer, you can tell from his insight on the NBA.  Looks like a bot made that post.

Anyways the Warriors will win easily again this year and I don't see any teams even pushing them to a 7 game series.
