601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott ICO's ? on: October 19, 2019, 01:07:13 AM
Most of us have been through this sad phase of life wherein we have wasted our precious time spanning to months on scam projects wherein the either the project turns out to be a scam or else the developers refrain from distributing the tokens to the bounty hunters for first few months after launch and by the time we receive it the value of token is negligible. Should bounty hunters boycott the ICO's and look for alternatives?

It is up to bounty hunters. Some are still gamblig joinig altcoin bounties even if the chance of getting paid is at it's lowest. But, who knows there are still some bounties out there that are legitimate and paying well. The problem is, bounty hunters are used to joining bounties for a short time with great rewards just like how it was before. ICO is almost dead, and only few investors are risking their money on ICOs which make it less likely to succeed.
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is fortunejack.com a Scam or are they Legit? on: October 19, 2019, 12:32:34 AM
They have been harassing me with adds, and I didn't remember any negative reviews, in fact I remembered good ones. Now I finally deposit, and when I go to withdraw they accuse me of multi-accounting? Has this happened to anyone else, or anyone know how I can clear this up? I might have had a really old account that I forgot about, but I'm really careful to never give online casino's an excuse to scam me?

Hi Mate
I also made an account a few days ago, after winning the bet then I made a withdrawal and they said the same thing "multi account"
I answered the e-mail and said that I never made more than one account and asked them to provide proof
A few hours later they processed my withdrawal.

So in conclusion they will freeze all new accounts, but if you can prove that you don't have more than one account then the withdrawal will be processed.

https://imgur.com/X2KnSjt

This might work, I think they are checking multi accounts through IP address, and cross checkig whether the e-mail or any other credentials are similar with an existing account that is why thwy freeze an account. Just try to talk to the support smoothly and present all the proof and explain everything clearly. I guess they might consider it since fortunejack is one of the most trusted and established gambling site in crypto.
603  Economy / Economics / Re: BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR 6 YEARS on: October 18, 2019, 11:48:06 PM
I have known bitcoin since 2013 and had stopped for almost two years without even looking at the price. I was really shocked how much the price grew. I knew when I forst read about bitcoin that it has a great long term potential, a revolutionary currency that can be used as an alternative medium of exchange. When I went back to crypto, I swear I won't hesitate anymore and will be part of it till it grows and gets massively adopted and accepted.
604  Economy / Economics / Re: Millennial generation are screwed! on: October 18, 2019, 12:18:27 PM
We cannot actually generalize all millenial screwed. In fact there are a lot of young people who were able to earn a lot and start or even choose the career they want due to cryptocurrency. Not to mention the gaming industry, a lot of teens are starting to earn a lot of money and gaming industry is starting to get big. There are professional gamers who earn thousands or even millions of dollars without a degree, vloggers, and etc. It is just that we must face it that we are already in a different era where people are dependent to technology.
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Multiple Round ICOs? on: October 18, 2019, 11:35:52 AM
I've seen a lot of ICOs who had multiple rounds of crowd funding. Some even extend their crowd funding event to make sure that they have enough money to develop the project. I actually invested in an ICO 2 years ago and had forgot about it, it almost took them a year and up till now I haven't had any news if they were able to finish their ICO. I didn't bother too much since it is just a small amount of money. Most projects delay their launch date if they think it is needed to be done.
606  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Experiment: Mga kaalaman sa Bitcointalk.org on: October 18, 2019, 10:40:19 AM
Para sa akin mahalaga itong forum na ito dahil isa ito sa main source of information ko patungkol sa crypto, hindi lang cureent events and development, maganda rin itong source of information at knowledge about sa cryprocurrency. Maliban dito, isa rin itong magandang paraan para kumita, source of information, at maaari ring maging way para makahanap ng trabaho o kaya iba't ibang service dahil marami ring professional dito na nag ooffer ng kanilang skills.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before I Invest With Cryptoqurrency? on: October 18, 2019, 09:56:25 AM
1. Check the overall contents of the project such as a team, road map, white paper, etc.
2. Check various features offered by the project such as privacy coins or decentralized coins.
3. Check how valuable the coins are or compare with other more popular coins. if the coins have potential, of course have a multi-professional team & the volume of coins always increases.
4. To be honest, the best coins to invest are the top coins or have been listed in the top 10 at CMC.
5. I suggest you invest in established coins rather than looking for very young and newly planted coins to invest.
I say this because I personally don't have a high risk appetite, so it's better to invest safely ..
how about you guys?

Investing in a new crypto is pure risk. I have seen a lot of new ICOs who are really promising and became stale due to the market condition. It is still adviseable to invest in those established project, but I am not saying that trying a new project is a bad idea, it is just it is difficult to trust new projects due to the number of scam project that popped-out since ICOs died.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Camouflage bounty manager? on: October 18, 2019, 09:06:43 AM
Have been into several campaigns that is a scam. I think it is the campaign managers and bounty hunter as well to review a project before managing or joining a campaign. Some bounty managers don't actually care if the project is a scam or not as long as they are paid, and we can't actually tell if they are together with the team or not.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have a $ 500 fund you want to make a profit on: October 18, 2019, 08:24:04 AM
I have $ 500 or more, is that enough to invest or trade daily ??  Do I need to buy cheap coins or expensive coins?  I want your opinion for me as a newbie.

That is actually a big amount to start trading with. It deoends whether if you do have an experience in trading. If you are new, try trading in small amounts because trading is risky and complicated in the beginning. Watch video tutorials and read through this forum for you to gain some knowledge about trading. Your experience as a trader will teach you a lot too. Good luck.

611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How feds have been able to identify the users of the largest child porn website on: October 18, 2019, 02:09:54 AM
Some people are scared to undergo the KYC procedure because of possible leak of personal information. Well, in this case KYC helped a lot in shutting down the website and catching those pedophiles. This is a good move the authorities did, tracing blockchain transactions and coordinating with exchange to gain information about the address where the transaction came from. For the culprits, I think it is a stupid mistake that they used such platform in doing illegal transactions, where they know they can be traced with their identities saved om the platform.
612  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware wallet help !!! on: October 18, 2019, 01:38:44 AM
I've bought my first Nano ledger 2 years ago and so far I 've never had a problem with it. You just need to secure your private key to make sure your funds are secured. It goes with a cord that you can connect to a PC, but I haven't tried connecting it through my phone.

At first using the app for me as a bit confusing and complicated since I am used in using online wallet which is user friendly. But, with it's complication, it is the best way to secure your funds.
613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever been stolen or lost your BTC? on: October 18, 2019, 12:55:18 AM
I have experienced getting phished before and lost all my altcoins, good thing never had my bitcoin stolen since I keep my bitcoin in a hardware wallet. That is why, if you are keeping a huge amount of crypto, never leave it even in an online wallet. I can also remember when I was new in crypto my money got scammed in a bitcoin doubler. I was new in crypto back then and I thought that it is an easy way to earn money.
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: October 18, 2019, 12:09:17 AM
This is a great thread since you said it is free. I think it will be difficult for you to get that membership fee because most people who are gamer by heart almost know all the team, their strat, weakness, and game play. So, signing up for a 30€ a month would be beneficial only to those who are into esports betting but with a little info about team composition and team strategy. Looking forward to this thread for some info about DOTA2. Good luck OP!
615  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Exchange Alert: CoinExchange Ending its Services on: October 17, 2019, 10:10:19 PM
616  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC TO 35K$ IN 2020 on: October 17, 2019, 12:21:08 PM
looking at your posting history

I sold all of my BTC with 8200$, Now I want to join to the game again, What do you think about next crash time? I think it will be crash beforBTC hit 10k$.

one month after you sold the price reached $19000

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2614154.msg29636827#msg29636827

BTC price fallen  (-12.24%)  today.
BTC is scam more INFO> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2883851.0

If BTC drop to 1K$ than next wave of panic will be started and BTC price can easly drop to about 100$.

Now you believe the price will reach $30,000? what made you change your mind?

LOL! He might have lost a lot of money or trolling that is why he posted it is a scam. 30k is possible if the market will be bullish in 2020. A lot of people are expecting another ATH by the next bull market, but there is no certainty when will that be. That is why most people are accumulating their BTC while it is cheap.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: League of Legends Worlds 2019 on: October 17, 2019, 08:17:23 AM
Glad there are also some eSports gamblers here. But i'm not so fan of League of Legends(LOL) but I also tried this game, which is Multiplayer Online Battle Arena(MOBA) game just like Dota 2.
And I also noticed in the list of team, some team are familiar since some of them has also team for Dota 2 or Counter Strike Global Offense (CSGO), just like Team Liquid, Fnatic, etc.

Here are the odds of today's match.

Splyce vs Marine Esports seems exciting game, looking forward for team Splyce.

Some teams  such as liquid, C9 and Fnatic has different team for different online games. I like SKT and it seems Faker is back in the game. Haven't played LOL for a long time and might just watch the worlds since I had missed several Tourneys and not familiar with the team current composition and the current meta and gameplay in LOL.
618  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Tron (TRX) has landed at Sportsbet.io! - Million Tron on Offer! on: October 17, 2019, 07:51:35 AM
It is great that they have added another currency in their platform andthey are hosting an event for it as celebration. It will be more convenient for other gamblers if there will be more option of currency in a gambling platform. Kudos to the team. Good luck everyone.

620  Economy / Speculation / Re: BULL VS BEAR on: October 17, 2019, 06:27:45 AM
Investors and traders depends their actions on current events, developments and news. Whenever there are positive news in cryptocurrency such as development, adoptation and positive market speculation by trading experts it somehow affects the demand of cryptocurrency in general. Not to mention market manipulation, whenever there are massive sell-out by whales or even a movement of a big amount from one address to another somehow affects the market.
