621  Economy / Economics / Re: The total value of the crypto currency market is near $2 trillion on: April 03, 2021, 08:40:33 PM
It fills me with optimism to review this data every time I visit my favorite website Coingecko. This figure remains on the rise as we know due to the rising price of bitcoin, ether and all Cryptocurrencies. Hopefully we continue to see the growth of our ecosystem and earn more capital from investors.
The ecosystem grows every day but only those projects that demonstrate their work and that satisfy the needs of the users will survive.
622  Economy / Economics / Re: The Permanent Portfolio method by Harry Browne on: April 03, 2021, 07:47:19 PM
Thanks for sharing this thread. Simplicity is the solution to many things. I've never heard of this "Harry Browne Permanent Portfolio" investment model. Coincidentally, I manage my finances with little cash as the chart recommends. I have decided it that way by intuition thinking that it is the best for me due to the inflation that dominates to the economy in the country where I live.
623  Economy / Economics / Re: The New Zealand Pension Fund announced a $ 17.5 million bitcoin (BTC) investment on: April 02, 2021, 11:55:12 PM
Wow! Good initiative of the Government of New Zealand by KiwiSaver fund by offering its pensioners savings in bitcoin. It is the first step, we just need to see how the service develops, it is very promising in my opinion.
Surely the pensioners of this country will be able to live their old age to the full. The famous golden years of tranquility and enjoyment and also available for any eventuality.
624  Economy / Economics / Re: What's Next? After Bitcoin Passes The 60K Mark...... on: April 02, 2021, 11:29:48 PM
I am not worried about spending it, I am interested in holding bitcoin for as long as I can because now is when we will see the future of bitcoin.
If this is only when bitcoin is being the center of attention of the world.

Any of us could think for a moment about how bitcoin managed to overcome the uncertainty of the Covid19 pandemic. Because a year ago the price of bitcoin fell demonstrating its vulnerability which is the same as us because we are all bitcoin.

Now the price of bitcoin will exceed 60K and will continue to break more records because it is consolidating around the world.
625  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 02, 2021, 11:13:24 PM
That's how it is! I was in the same situation, thanks to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies I have managed to manage the consequences of living in a country with an inflationary economy. In addition to the crisis afflicting the covid19 pandemic. Honestly, it is not easy but with faith in God and trying to solve the day to day well I think that my life is easier thanks to bitcoin and the revolution that it has caused.
626  Economy / Economics / Re: More bullish news: Paypal will alllow crypto checkout on: April 02, 2021, 10:40:57 PM
Paypal's strategy is great. Although I have not read anything about the operating costs but I think this would reduce the intermediaries, the fees should be low, good transaction times and a user friendly app for everyone.

Paypal would capitalize the cryptocurrencies that its users spend as it is the one who has the wallet.
It is the opportunity for Paypal to completely renew itself by including cryptocurrencies as a means of payment because it is committed to being a leader in the industry.
Here it can be said that the user is always right.
627  Economy / Economics / Re: Miami Mayor Will Allow Employee salaries in Bitcoin on: April 01, 2021, 11:31:18 PM
This is a great decision from Miami Mayor Francis Suárez. After reading the comments of the announcement made on twitter by the mayor, the response was very positive. Some believe that this idea will come up to other municipalities and public and private institutions anywhere in the world.

628  Economy / Economics / Re: Why should i invest in bitcoin or other cryptos ? on: April 01, 2021, 10:13:00 PM
I invest in bitcoin because it is simply better than keeping my money in the bank that has an inflationary currency.
If bitcoin was born to offer financial freedom for everyone, why not take advantage of it?
If you have not realized bitcoin is disruptive and the cause of new technologies in finance that we are seeing proliferate.

I am a person who does not have wealth and thanks to bitcoin and its ecosystem I have been able to solve financial situations that were difficult for me to face.
This thread by Alex Gladstein explains why bitcoin is for everyone.

1/ In a new @Telegraph column @jamestitcomb claims that it is "hard to argue that Bitcoin has lived up to its mysterious inventor's early intentions as a world-changing financial protocol" and says the main outcome has been making "a small number wealthy "

I voted for 100K but checking this chart from Planb I think the price of bitcoin could be higher.

All adoptions make bitcoin stronger and what is inevitable is happening.

630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 31, 2021, 03:06:35 AM
My answer is hodl what I am earning from my Signature campaign for the education of my 12 and 13 year old nephews.
I always think about saving, you never know when you may need some money.
I feel lucky to have met bitcoin and crypto because I have learned to save money.
There are many things we can do with the profits we get from these campaigns because we all have set goals.
631  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you explain NFT to a 5 years old child? on: March 27, 2021, 11:42:23 PM
This Coindesk article is perfect to know what NFT is and what its economy is. As we know Minecraft is the most popular video adventure game since its launch in 2011. Microsoft and Enjin have created alliances to bring Cross-Platform Custom NFTs to Minecraft.
There is a good benefit for the economy, children and young people will learn about blockchain and NFT with this new feature.

NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens)

Minecraft + NFTs: How it works
On the first leg of the journey, a user embarks on a quest to explore and repair a failing international space station - the text-based part of the quest.

Upon successful completion, the user is then forwarded to a web page where they are asked to scan a QR code. The code provides an NFT that drops automatically into a user’s Enjin wallet, from there they can link their wallet to cross-platform gaming network MyMetaVerse.

632  Economy / Economics / Re: Flexible Work Schedule on: March 27, 2021, 10:46:57 PM
Working from home and for objectives is the best suited to my lifestyle. Although I work in Marketing in Social Media I have a lot of work at home in this time of pandemic such as shopping for groceries and other jobs at home. I must make a schedule of weekly activities to accomplish my tasks. I share your idea that there is a saving in transport but the commitment is great. Sometimes I am exhausted but happy to comply with "Home and work" in a good operation.
633  Economy / Economics / Re: Strong kyc reason on: March 27, 2021, 09:24:56 PM
I have always agreed with this KYC and AML procedure, in fact I came to know it in this forum. Some members argue that this process can generate income because banks sell our data.

KYC and AML is an important process for maintaining business relationships between banks and their clients.
Now, How many bad guys have made a fortune with illicit money: drugs, smuggling, corruption, etc? This procedure is necessary in my opinion.

No wonder Kevin Roose a New York Times writer intends to auction his column as an NFT, "Buy this column on the blockchain."
I think we'll be saying goodbye to garage sales soon.
We can tokenize our entire world, we will see more ideas in the future.
I think this New York Times journalist was inspired by Jack selling his first tweet as an NFT.

Happy birthday! I did not know about this cool bitcointalk detail. I am going to update my profile.
Well, boy I can only wish you health and happiness that the rest comes as a gift from God.
In the forum you can find endless opportunities, as members we have a commitment to make bitcoin and the most popular cryptocurrencies and bring knowledge wherever we are.

636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Discussion on: March 27, 2021, 07:42:20 PM
At the beginning of last year in February I remember my PC was damaged, my only source of income. I only had some savings and bought my first SmartPhone to continue my work, I was fortunate to find the Signature Bitvest campaign of which I am proud to be a member. In the month of March, the WHO declared the Covid19 pandemic, the world economy showed its fracture, the bitcoiners saw how the price of bitcoin fell drastically, an example on 03/15/20 $ 5397,93 according to Coingecko. With what I could earn in my signature campaign, I could barely pay for the technical service of my PC, I did not lose my way, I told myself, whatever God wants, I still trust bitcoin and we will overcome the crisis.
IMO when we doubt bitcoin we are not considering taking risks.
637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs on Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2021, 07:12:41 PM
In recent days I found information about Stack on Twitter and I said to myself although we did not notice it, there are developers who are working to make bitcoin more usable. We just need time to know the progress

Quote
Stacks is an open-source network of decentralized apps and smart contracts built on Bitcoin. Stacks unleashes Bitcoin’s full potential as a programmable base layer.

https://www.stacks.co/what-is-stacks

Here we have Muneeb the founder of Stack who says in a tweet the following about Smart contracts for bitcoin so I think we will start to know about NFT in Bitcoin.

Quote
9 / Next time someone tells you Bitcoin doesn’t have smart contracts, send them to Staking club and ask them how is $ 440M capital locked earning 21% BTC yield then? There is no company behind this, it’s a Clarity smart contract.

638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to invest in Bitcoin? or in Ethereum? on: March 27, 2021, 08:09:18 AM
You can invest in bitcoin as in ethereum and you will realize that the entire market partly depends on the price of bitcoin. There are some coins that due to their development and use cases have had great benefit in this bull run and it should be so.

Bitcoin is the mother of cryptocurrencies as some members have opined. Regarding NFTs, ethereum has a large market but there are other networks like Avalanche where you can also create NFTs. If you are interested I share a link.

639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Nigeria Central bank confusing its citizens? on: March 27, 2021, 07:26:40 AM
I have also been confused with this clarification of the CBN. Which makes me suspect that they will not be able to contain the desire of Nigerians to fully adopt bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in their lives.
The adoption has begun every day we gain more spaces. How can they refuse? They cannot, it is like a great wave of innovation and they remain as spectators.

640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A quick thought on how to help/save bitcoin. on: March 27, 2021, 06:37:50 AM
I prefer that the fluctuation of the price of bitcoin remains as we are seeing it because it is insane that it is different, what you suggest is manipulation. If you like the social network Twitter, you should follow PlanB and understand his predictions.

IMO we are only ~ 4 months into the bull market and nowhere near the end of it .. #bitcoin is just getting started.

I believe in his analysis because so far the price of bitcoin is shown as is to his ideas.
