Man, learn to use punctuations in your posts when and where necessary, without this, reading and understanding properly; your post is kind of difficult.

This isn't grammar class and I don't think anyone finds it difficult to read and understand it, but if you do, then please feel free to use the ignore button. Cheers! Tongue

Anyway, how come multiple accounts improve privacy? I think they do opposite, they decrease it. The more you are presented somewhere, the more chances that you will make a mistake.

High rollers who don't want to see their names seen on the leaderboard or simply don't feel comfortable using the same account after wagering a certain amount but it all applies to no KYC, no bonus casinos which are very rare now since most crypto casinos implemented mandatory KYC for accessing withdrawal button.
622  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸Join NEW Crypto Staking | 🔥Get the highest APRs – up to 60% on: November 23, 2023, 07:54:46 AM
I am not willing to accept any bonus, stake facility. I want to deposit an amount and gamble freely with them as I wish. And I want the freedom to withdraw them at any time. Because of this I avoid time bonus topics. Because wagering issues make us gamble for a long time on gambling sites. And thus comes a deep addiction to gambling

I don't remember any casino lifting their wagering requirements if they are willing to accept they won't ever want to claim any bonus and rewards but there are casinos that don't have bonuses at all that even has wagering requirements and its inevitable due to the AML policies so these no claim bonus can help for someone who needs to have multiple accounts for privacy reasons.
623  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: unnecessarily quoting by members of the forum. on: November 23, 2023, 05:37:54 AM
Most likely they are mobile users who are too lazy to edit the part they want to bring into the discussion,
I disagree that mobile users make up the majority of pyramid posts because, as someone who uses a phone for posting, I too am aware that pyramid posting is not ideal and I don't quote every single thread that someone posts. Mobile users who know how to quote properly are not lazy to trim their quotes.

I am not saying most mobile users are practicing this pyramid quoting style, but those who do are mostly mobile users and they feel lazy to edit the content and just go one and continue to edit the whole. Even I do use mobile for bitcointalk and sometimes I have to comment on something, when I have to I will try to edit as much as possible or just clear the whole and stay on topic or if I want to respond to the previous ones reply I just use ^ kind of symbol and like that.
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in psychic betting? on: November 22, 2023, 06:56:58 PM
I remember the story of the Octopus predicting the winner of Fifa but I consider it a mere coincidence nothing else for the record even the Octopus got 2 predictions wrong out of 14 which says what is the reality and I don't really dream about betting but only about big melons all the time, not sure why though. Grin

But we all have some kind of superstition thing to do when we want to do something, like wearing a lucky shirt for an interview or holding the same spot when you want your team to win, and so on.
625  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: unnecessarily quoting by members of the forum. on: November 22, 2023, 05:23:40 PM
Most likely they are mobile users who are too lazy to edit the part they want to bring into the discussion, just go on and quote the whole unnecessary discussions and it is a sign of spam too in my opinion but as far as I know, these nested quotes are not against the forum rules so they won't be deleted even if we report them but if the campaign managers pay attention then those users with low-quality posts can be denied towards paid post then we will see the changes in their actions.
626  Other / Meta / Re: Losing entire post if you hit back arrow accidently on: November 22, 2023, 03:44:16 PM
I don’t know how correctly I understood your text, but on my laptop, when I write a post, press the back button, and then click again on the page to print the post, everything is saved. Maybe the problem lies when using mobile gadgets. I deliberately tried to do this, but maybe this happens after a pause.

I am using Chrome to surf Bitcointalk on my Windows and the condition is pretty much the same with my device too there is no need to click preview/draft just to get what we wrote when we click backward but the condition is different when we use reload/refresh feature.

Also in my Android too the situation is same but where we most likely will refresh the page while swiping down and all the text written will be gone but its unlikely to happen with PC.
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you foresee crypto payments going mainstream soon? Why or why not? on: November 22, 2023, 01:35:24 PM
The number of TX processed per second in Bitcoin is still the biggest debate and a point of concern when we are talking about Bitcoin as mainstream payment but the evolutions of Lightning Network may be the solution to cut down every on-chain transaction that we may on the day to day purpose but we are still a long way from saying Bitcoin took over the place of traditional fiat system in the mode of payments.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would You Crowdfund for a Gambler Who Has Gambled Irresponsibly? on: November 22, 2023, 05:04:06 AM
A few days ago, I posed a question in this forum, wondering if, as someone who engages in gambling, you've ever considered thought of giving back to the community if you ever had a successful gambling run. I carefully went through all the responses, maintaining keen interest and taking note of each perspective. Another aspect of the inquiry involves whether you would be willing to participate in crowdfunding for a fellow gambler who reaches out to the public through social media seeking financial support after they gambled with the funds meant for an important project like, investment, school fees, rent, marriage or any other thing. And what would you say to those who go ahead to donate to these gamblers out of a sense of empathy?

No way, I don't even consider such an act to be serious because the individual is clearly incompetent in managing their funds so what if he just gambles again with the raised funds?

But the situation will be different if the affected party seek the public help and also need financial support to cover the loss made from irresponsible behaviour of someone then its possible that people will consider giving them help in someway.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 9 Years Before He finally claim his lotto rewards on: November 20, 2023, 04:09:22 PM
These kinds of incidents are extremely unlikely to happen but it shows that even when luck is on your side destiny goes wrong. I would say its evident that the platform that conducted the lotto tried to avoid paying with such silly excuses but it's not going to be favorable for them when there is clear evidence that you won but something like this happened. I even saw many lottery winners who didn't even know they won a few million dollars but the companies reached out to them and handed over the rewards.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: November 20, 2023, 12:11:04 PM
There are some gambling sites which is not putting KYC as obligation for its users. But there have been many people were trying to play with high bet but they were unwilling to complete the KYC verification where KYC has been ordered by most of the regulators to prevent money laundering
there are for sure and i experience such websites too. The problem is, they allow you to withdraw till a limited amount. specially its okey if amount is small but when you will try to withdraw a healthy/fair amount, then authority asking for kyc as well as additional documents in some cases. Kyc won't be asked for those player whom losses a lot money but suddenly win a fair amount. But if a person continuously win big amounts, such website make kyc hard for those users. This kind of cheap trick. If they have to follow government order to prevent money laundering, then they should clearly mention about kyc process in their website

If I am not wrong the security system of casinos will not trigger withdrawals based on the winnings of a player in most cases, it happens when user deposit and withdraw without wagering or wagering with the least risk as possible because it seems obvious that the user is not really intended for gambling but trying to deposit and withdraw which looks like laundering, in that case, further details maybe needed from the casino even if you already KYC verified there.
631  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Avoid sending your BTC to the same wallet its coming out of - Quick reminder on: November 20, 2023, 10:28:12 AM
Yesterday I tried making a Bitcoin transaction and I accidentally added the same address it's coming out of. Mistakenly I may have tap the copy to clipboard without realizing. Luckily for me I did not click the send button before I realized my self.

Just a reminder, always double-check your receiving address before sending. Bitcoin fees are high, and if your Bitcoin gets sent to the same address it's coming out of, it might return, but you'll lose the fees. You can't afford to lose $10 due to a careless mistake that could've been prevented.

I made this mistake or I just really wanted to try what would happen I don't remember why I did that but I did when the fees were a few sats. Already we have threads like How to lose your Bitcoins with CTRL-C CTRL-V which convey the same what you are talking about and the importance of ensuring the recipient address while sending BTC. For the convenience, we can use the QR codes now and its better compared to copy/paste.
632  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: November 19, 2023, 06:47:51 PM
That's what most people are focusing on, that is definitely the point here, someone who wagers 150 dollars on a bet that is this unlikely is definitely the point we need to congratulate him on, not the win itself. Win is great, he could have easily lost and winning this bet is definitely a great deal, and kudos to him for winning it, but the start of this is at where he spent 150 dollars on a single bet that had such a low chance to win, that is the part where it all starts.

Not many people can afford to do something like this, and that means this dude did something not many can do, and surely the win made it even sweeter, and once again kudos to that, but if he didn't had the courage to bet on these odds with this much money, then he wouldn't have won it all.

He just clicked the button at the right moment which is what we call as luck so this winning is not from any skill or whatsoever but the affordability is different and it's mandatory too for someone who wants to bet in the first place. Of course, everyone wants to taste such wins but the probability of that happening is less so before wagering any amount the only question you need to us yourself is, am I willing to lose this amount? Roll if yes or don't if no.

Also, there is nothing wrong with casinos promoting those wins to attract players and it also can be a way of saying they are paying the rewards to their customers if they win.
633  Economy / Economics / Re: ~85% of money doesn't exist on: November 19, 2023, 05:13:15 PM
Physical money or money that is available only in numbers as in bank accounts doesn't make any difference at all, this is what the centralization will do and this is what governments hide from people to teach for generations.

BTC may not be perfect like slow transactions but it's completely decentralized and the value is determined by the demand and supply and it became possible due to the limited supply of 21 million bitcoins only no matter what. People who understand this will realize the importance of the existence of bitcoin over the investment/returns perspective.

ORDI hype
Another taproot project?
The brc 20 token ORDI hyped when Binance listed their pairs on 2023-11-07. So it's obvious that in the next few weeks, the hype will eventually die

I neither find anything in lightning's documentations.
I am not exactly sure, to be honest, but looking at their website that is how it portrays, send BTC TX by paying 1 SAT as a fee.
635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hello Bitcoin :-) on: November 18, 2023, 05:46:41 PM
Technically multi-signature wallets can create Lightning channels too (correct me if I am wrong guys), but the feature is not available in the wallets we use for example in Electrum.

The feature is available in some wallets like Muun Wallet which is 2 of 2 multi sig wallet.

For now, all we can do is wait for the ORDI hype to be over then the fee will be back to normal until the payments can be postponed or have to be sent from Multi signature wallet to another address then create a lightning channel.
636  Other / Meta / Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity on: November 18, 2023, 04:17:53 PM
Instead of giving up on your community, why not reporting that spam instead?

Another thing, if people are spamming nonsense copy/paste news and are getting merit for it, you may wanna warn those meriting them that they are not doing any favor to your local thread as that will only make them spam even more of the same stuff.

AFAIK, they don't have a dedicated local board but just a dedicated thread in other languages. So everything they post has to be in that thread alone which is why it is impossible to say which is an off-topic comment also I remember the moderator's comments regarding such copy/paste in other language boards, mods don't consider them as off-topic, and will not delete.

But what the members can do is ignore those users and not merit them so over the period they will vanish.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Letting the cat out of the bag on: November 18, 2023, 01:29:45 PM
Personally, I don't have any connections with guys who are addicted to gambling but I have people come over from other addictions for example alcoholic for rehab centres are the most effective compared to any other methods.

Before everything voicing out is the first thing they should do because we only know what we are going through and in this busy world everyone is focusing on their own life and definitely they will try to help when you seek them.
I have opposite experience of what you've said, I grew up having a family members being addicted in any type of gambling, Being in a lower class family, it's difficult to give an advice to seek professional help due to shortage of money and that's the main reason why their gambling addiction developed, in the hope that they will win and get money. Knowing them, it's hard to speak and give an advice because in the end they will take what I have to say badly.

But how a person can afford to gamble when they are financially weak?

If they are taking debt to satisfy their gambling urge then the situation will become trichy and the situation will turn based on who is addicted and who has the authority to the assets. But if there is the possibility to lend money for gambling then in my opinion it is possible to get financial help to help the addicted person medically.

639  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallets on Coinbase on: November 17, 2023, 07:05:03 PM

There are many open source non-custodial wallets and because they are open source, they are free to download and use. Those wallets are reproducible with open source codes too.

I would go further and say Electrum because its suitable even for a newbie and if someone can install Coinbase then they can install Electrum for their storing purpose.

640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Math and Gambling on: November 17, 2023, 05:27:25 PM
If this is true then maths professors and experts will be driving their lambos now so it isn't like that but yes it is possible to use math in blackjack like games which is definitely not possible to do with math skills but only if you have a photographic memory and for your information that is illegal and if you found to be practicing counting cards then you will be banned from playing.

School is not important as 96% of what you learn won't be used in the real world to make money, but this 4% left is making a lot of people rich, math and gambling seems to go with each other, what do you guys think? Am I wrong or right?

How many people became rich from gambling?

You may see a lot of rich people in casinos but it's for their entertainment and they never saw gambling as a way to become rich.
