Why does Monero not have a 32-bit visual client for Windows? Developers apparently forgot that in the yard of the 21st century and fuck with the command line no one will.

Who has a 32 bit machine in 2018?

I think that both communism and capitalism are centralized systems.

Capitalism is about individuals owning the product of their labor and being free to exchange that product for private property which they can then also own. That's a pretty decentralized system.

But it is also about nepotism and passing that capitol onto descendants while blocking other from gaining the advantage the initial capitol holders enjoyed. So really lets be real, no system is even close to perfect as long as humans are in control.

You make it sound like it just poofs out of thin air. Someone has to make capital. Those people have to take a risk. A huge portion of the time attempting to produce capital ends up being a net loss. Part of the reason people take that risk is for the promise of passing it onto their children if it turns out to be a successful endeavor. If it does end up being successful than the capitalists descendants are groomed for the life of managing capital. And the effective management of capital is something that benefits everyone in a society. And anyway if the children are not successful at capital management than they do not pass any capital onto their own children. Which is usually the case, rags to riches then back to rags in three generations.

So I mean of course it's not perfectly decentralized. But that wouldn't be ideal anyway since different people have different skills and you want more capital in the hands of those who are the best at managing capital.

So they dont do this is in USA at all

In other countries that have no empire the citizens of those countries pay the inflation tax to their own elites. It's all internal. The USA exports it's inflation. That is the benefit of empire and the reason for the empire.

Incidentally and despite our resident roach shill, I've been accumulating some for sure.

It's truely amazing how much silver you can buy with a little bit of bitcoin. When I first got started in this in 2011 it was all about the precious metals but I hedged a little by taking like 10% of my PM net worth and putting it into crypto. Since you know they were competing for the same market and crypto tech was so novel and interesting. Now the amount of silver I can get with my bitcoin now is beyond my wildest dreams of the time. THANK YOU BITCOIN!

How far along are multi-signature addresses in Monero? Judging by this pull request, I would assume they are already operational by using the CLI wallet? https://github.com/monero-project/monero/pull/3489

Multi-sig will enable Monero p2p FIAT on/off ramps and DEXs, and I think it is important to enable developers to create such (seeing as though regulators are stepping up their enforcement efforts and authoritative bravado.)

Multisig (both N/N and N-1/N) will be included in the next release (0.12), which is targeted to be released next week.

Source code is out right now if you don't mind building it yourself. https://github.com/monero-project/monero/releases

I'm trying figure out why I didn't sell at $14k. Am I retarded? Hindsight bias? How obvious was this crash? idk

Not obvious at all. It could have held and started going up at 14k. Would have all depended on whether there were enough bullish rich people out there willing to put in a floor at that price. There could have been. Infact one single determined billionaire more than there actually were would probably have been more than enough. It wouldn't have been hard to believe if there were. I wouldn't have been surprised. Turns out there weren't.

is monero V hard fork fake?

Fake how? It's easy to fork an open source project. They will almost certainly do the fork and moneroV will be a real thing that exists. Is it a complete and total scam cash grab? Also yes. It is very unlikely that their devs will legitimately innovate, and produce their own novel code and make a thriving healthy project.

Wow a lot of fags on this forum... isn’t there a fourm for gaycoin holders? My ignore button is getting overheated.

That was obviously a joke... I am definitely not a homosexual.

Hey I'm going to predict the bottom. I bet Monero will meet a lot of resistance at 0.02 and Bitcoin will meet a lot of resistance at 6000. So 0.02*6000=120. Let's see how close I get. Someone quote this post someday if I get it right.
635  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 23, 2018, 04:40:48 AM
Test of 6000 incoming. If it bounces hard off of it than good times ahead. If it languishes around 6k then we will probably see 5k. If it cuts through 6k like a knife through butter then... *gulp*...

Good morning guys. Feels like the final shake is coming. Are you ready? #btfd

A proper trend reversal will begin with a higher low. Fingers crossed.

GO BITCOIN GO
Tiny correction should be over soon!

IDK it always looked like a bulltrap to me and this is right on time if it is.

Monero hardware wallet developers are considering using epaper for the screen. How cool would it be if when ever you shut down your hardware wallet it would leave a qr code for an address for deposits behind indefinitely. I wonder if epaper would be too dim for a qr code to be read off of it.

~snip~
can you provide us the link for this monero miners.? I hope monero V fork has a solution for this .

I don't think moneroV does. But monero monero does. A slight change is going to be made to the mining algorithm that will render these asics useless for mining monero.

Is this announced somewhere? The HYPE and FUD are really strong forces and big part of the crypto miners are like sheep /no offense/ they have no idea what they are doing, only money matters, so I guess many will be fooled around to buy some expensive ASICs door-stoppers.

Sure no problem. A healthy dose of skepticism will go a LONG way towards preserving your wealth in this sector. Here you go. https://getmonero.org/2018/02/11/PoW-change-and-key-reuse.html
