6341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 of the best Binance alternatives on: January 26, 2020, 04:13:36 AM
I think many of use on here use Binance fairly often. And I think they are one of the best cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. Great trading volume, selection of cryptos, smart innovations like the SAFU fund, etc.
But I think it is important for beginners to experts alike to not get stuck using one crypto exchange only!

What happens if that exchange closes down, goes down temporarily, it is affected by regulations in your country (read Binance and the U.S), etc, etc.

So with that in mind we had a look into some of the best alternatives to Binance when it comes to crypto exchanges and made this list. Now it is hard to find a list of perfect cryptocurrency exchanges! And some of you might have had bad experiences with some of these. But overall these are some of the most popular exchanges with similar traits like Binance!

The top 8 Binance alternatives are:
In no particular order!!! Smiley Important to note!

1. Bittrex
2. KuCoin
3. Kraken
4. OKCoin
5. OKEx
6. Coinfalcon
7. Huobi
8. Gate.io

What's your favourite exchanges? That are also fairly similar to Binance?

Find the full post here https://gocryptowise.com/blog/best-binance-alternatives/

Not sure whether you should include Gate.io and Coinfalcon. I have not heard about Coinfalcon and Gate.io has been in the news in the past for wrong things.

Still Binance is the number one exchange in terms of volume and has the largest user base. You can also add coinbase to the list of exchanges.
6342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So...Is Bitcoin the ultimate coin that does not need more development? on: January 26, 2020, 04:10:53 AM

As subject goes, is Bitcoin the maximum version?

Is it still possible to develop it?

or

Can we still expect better coin than Bitcoin?

No, Bitcoin is not the ultimate coin in crypto world. There is a lot of development that it needs. At the moment there are developers who are still working in the background on its development. If you want to know what is happening the doa simple search on google and you will find a lot of articles related to it.
6343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will NOT surpass traditional methods of payment. Convince me. on: January 26, 2020, 03:54:28 AM
I've been for cryptocurrencies from when I first heard about it and got involved back in 2013. There are some pros to having Bitcoin as the future method of payment however there are some cons too.

It would be interesting to see why you think Bitcoin (or other cryptocurrencies) will surpass traditional methods of payment (Cards, Bank transfers, payment gateways etc.). Or if you think they have no future please share why.

Some of my concerns:
  • Ever since a few people have made a fortune from the massive spike in prices, it's attracted a lot of traders and day traders. Not a bad thins but it's clear to me that easily 90% of cryptocurrency users are just traders with no intensions of using the currencies. Hence the rise in a lot of exchanges (a lot of which look the same).
  • All it takes is 51%. Although for a coin such as BTC would be very expensive to attack the network it's still possible.

    Here's my insane scenario:

100 top banks from across the world don't like the threat BTC has on their business so they all join together to buy compute power, take over the network and cause havoc. I estimate it would cost around $2,000,000,000 (2 Billion USD). This is very expensive but what's $20,000,000 (20 million USD) to a top bank? That's an investment to help protect their business.
  • Speed: BTC is known to be slow to confirm a single transaction (approx 10 mins). ETH is faster (approx 15 seconds). I believe (correct me if i'm wrong) that if you cut down block times it slowly starts to make a decentralised system more centralised.

Food for thought..

It is too early to come into any conclusions now. At the moment you cannot compare Bitcoin with big payment processors like banks. Still a lot of development have been going on. With the recent development of lightning network you can now send a small amount like 1 Satoshi. Earlier it was not possible.

Banking system did not evolve within a decade it took time to create such a massive infrastructure. By the way you still cannot send small amount through banking payment system but, you can now by using Bitcoin lightning network.

6344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: which year Bitcoin will be 100% mined? on: January 26, 2020, 03:48:35 AM
Is there any predicted year,
when bitcoin can be 100% mined.
Just curious to know
I think more than 80% already mined.

As per the present estimate the year will 2140 when all Bitcoin will be mined.  After the halving that is also being held this year and is estimated to happen in May, it will become more harder to mine Bitcoin. The more harder it becomes to mine the more its Fiat value will be. Therefore accumulate more.
6345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Myetherwallet(Mew) Site: Previous version is better than current version ? on: January 26, 2020, 03:03:39 AM
Mew refers to myetherwallet where we can get Eth address, private key, keystore file and so on. Here Eth/ERC-20 address is the most important part to ensure one's rewards, payment and make transactions or exchange with each other. In near past,we can easily open a wallet by typing this-https://vintage.myetherwallet.com where we can get private key easily. Also by doing copy-paste of private key we are easily access mew wallet. But now, that site- https://vintage.myetherwallet.com is automatically generated to this site- https://www.myetherwallet.com/ without my permission which is very disgustful. By entering this generated site,it doesn't show private key in front page where previous site- https://vintage.myetherwallet.com is shown private key perfectly.

The previous site in my point of view was far much simpler and easy to understand by a noob too. It now takes special skills to go through the home page. I got confused at first when I saw the new page for the first time.
6346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 26, 2020, 01:57:12 AM
The problem for Bangladesh was that they got off to poor starts which can sometimes be hard to come back from but again that is credit to the Pakistan bowlers. Anyway lets see if Pakistan can clean sweep.
Pakistan bowled really well in this series and good to see that they were able to dominate the series against Bangladesh and they lacked this kind of coordination against the series against Sri Lanka.

We have New Zealand and India ad let us see how they are going to perform and with the win against New Zealand in the first T20 they will be having the confidence to win the series and hopefully the jet lag for some players will be sorted by now.

Today's match I feel will be dominated by the Newzealand team. If shreyas Iyer would not had performed in the last match then Team Indian would have lost it. Do you think there will be any changes in the bowling line up? Last match there were few loose overs that could have been prevented.
6347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Chain or Binance DEX hype is gone! on: January 26, 2020, 01:51:57 AM
I remember every youtuber promoting Binance DEX and Binance Launchpad at that time. Things have gone pretty bad now when investors and traders understood the real economics behind Binance chain. You cannot run a centralized network for a long time with high listing fee.
6348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teen crook hacked into 75 phones and stole $1M in cryptocurrency: authorities on: January 25, 2020, 04:11:21 PM
I heard about a new kind of data theft using pu lic USB charging ports. Some of you might have heard or read about it. This kind of hacking or data theft is slowly becoming a major issues. It is better to always carry a power bank whenever you are travelling out.

The scammer use the charging port of your mobile to setup malware or virus in phone.
6349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Crypto Vs Corona Virus on: January 25, 2020, 04:04:00 PM
I doubt it will effect Crypto world as you only need a device to access your portfolio and exchanges to make transactions. There will be no immediate effect on the economic also but, things can quiet get worst if immediate preventive measures are not taken. At the moment Chinese government is doing the best it can to stop thing go out of its hand.
6350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some new POS high ROI coins with airdrop ? on: January 25, 2020, 03:19:00 PM
There are many good POS coins in the market like tron that has airdrop and Tezos that has been consistently performing. It is better that you did a research by yourself and then invest.

Only one thing you should remember when you start staking avoid exchange and use cold staking.
6351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 smart ways to bet on the upcoming bitcoin halvening with options on: January 25, 2020, 02:30:03 PM

6352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Skyrocket to $100,000 in 24 Months on: January 25, 2020, 02:15:20 PM
Bitcoin will reach that price point in the future but to confirm it will reach with the next 24 months is a stupid analysis. I have been hearing the same for the last three years now and nothing has happened.

It is good to keep the market boosted with such information but it is foolish to think the people wiil react to such foolish date prediction. The Bitcoin community has matured a lot after 2017.
6353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 25, 2020, 02:08:28 PM
What a spectacular match it was today between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Pakistan's bowling attack just ripped through Bangladesh batting followed by good batting from Azam and Hafeez. Series won by Pakistan the last match is a formality I guess now.
6354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 25, 2020, 10:28:07 AM
~snip~
Since there is no clarity from Dhoni nor the selectors whether he will be selected for the World Cup, IPL is the only platform where we will see Dhoni perform and i am sure he will be performing really well so that all the critics will be silent for a long time as he usually performs really well during the IPL as a captain and as a finisher.

What a dilema the most successful captain and one of the best wicketkeeper in the world has to prove himself once again to be part of the worldcup team. I sometimes ask myself those so called cricket critics and some of the selectors how well did they perform when they were part of the team.

His being part of the team is moral booster for the youngsters.

Some might say that despite being successful captain and best wicketkeeper, he must earn his place in Indian squad by competing with young guys. he set the same example when he refused to include Sehwag, Ganguly and Dravid in the team by stating " they are slow in the field" and "want to give youngsters chance".

The only person in your list that I felt sorry about was Ganguly. Sehwag was slow and so was Dravid on the field, the only exception for Dravid was that he also was a partime wicketkeeper. Both were non reliable batsmen. Creating records and not playing for the team was there biggest problem. If you change their batting order they would collapse. That was the biggest problem. Dhoni is far better than those.
6355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunter needs fu**ing unity!! on: January 25, 2020, 05:41:11 AM
Guys,
Enough is enough. Let's get united. It's too much now. Let's fu** them all who deceived bounty hunters after getting success.

Azbit such a crap scam project, they keep locking the bounty token for years, about 5-6 months ago, they said bounty token will be unlocked on 5 February 2020, now they extended it to May 1st! Look at TOKOIN, another busted team they have, before, they said within four months they will distribute all the tokens, but now they decided to distribute token throughout the whole 2020 year! Are you fuc** kidding me, bit**!!

This is not the end, look at Digitalbits, their bounty ended in may 2019, and still, they did not distribute where they promised to distribute within January to March 2020, but no single update set yet!

Hunters! Be an avenger now, let's work together to ruin these projects. We won't tolerate scammer in crypto anyhow. We can promote them to get success and we the hunters can ruin them too. What do you say now? Please leave your comments!

N.B: Can I uncensored those words?

It is your responsibility to choose the right bounty, when you know it is a scam project, why work on that project? Just for sake of good promised money 😀😀

The same kind of promise they do with investor and like fools people invest and then cry out loud " Scam"

Think twice and research before investing your time for a particular bounty project.

No one will help you untill you help yourself.
6356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 25, 2020, 05:03:39 AM
Guess, you are mixing T-20 and ODI squad. Prithvi is Dhawan's replacement for ODI not T-20 and Prithvi Shaw is not good for T-20 as he's competing for Opening slot with likes of Rohit-Rahul-Dhawan. In ODI he can get chance if KL Rahul comes at middle order as Batsman-WK.
I have not seen Prithvi Shaw play in the IPL, the only time i saw him play was when he was in the U19 World Cup Indian team but i have seen him perform in a Test match scoring a century against West Indies at a decent run rate. If he is selected for ODI then he will open the innings and KL Rahul will come in the middle order that will strengthen the middle order.

KL Rahul is currently doing well in the top order and therefore I don't think that they will shift him to the middle order. Shaw has always opened the batting for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy tournament and I haven't seen him in any other position in the domestic setup. So there is also a chance that Shaw will play only if Rahul is rested. Anyway, I just hope that both him and Samson will get some opportunities to showcase their skills this time. It doesn't feels good when players are dropped after just one or two matches.

I also feel the same they would not try to shift KL Rahul and replace him with Shaw. Unless they feel KL Rahul needs to be rested, he is in form and has been performing quite well. I think they will try a different position for Shaw in the batting order. They might rest Rohit and try both as opener or they might change Rohit's batting order. He can play down the line.
6357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India Central Bank Says It Hasn’t Banned Crypto on: January 25, 2020, 01:56:56 AM
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said regulated entities cannot offer crypto assets in the country, but that does not equate to an overall digital asset ban.  READ MORE VIA THE LINK BELOW...
https://worldpublicityblog.com/index.php/2020/01/23/india-central-bank-says-it-hasnt-banned-crypto/

Indian banks are so confused on one statement they say crypto to fiat and fiat to crypto transactions are banned. User have lost their bank account who did those transaction and still they claim no ban. Do they think citizen of the biggest democracy are fools?
6358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 25, 2020, 12:50:19 AM
Towards the end Sheyas Iyer who's innings was due finally provided his point today by smashing the ball all round the park and making quick 58 runs in 29 balls and helped India to win the match by 6 wickets and 1 over to spare. He was named Man of the Match for his brilliant batting.

Sreyas Iyer is the future of Indian T20 squad. I won't be much surprised, if he becomes the captain after the end of Kohli/Rohit era. As of now, I regard him as the best among the younger players. He is much more consistent and skilled, when compared to the others in his group, such as Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson, Karun Nair and Manish Pandey.

Very close game indeed. It is all because of shreyas Iyer that India won the match. Incredibly batting by him. Pathetic fielding from both the side especially the missed run out chance by Newzealand.
6359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 25, 2020, 12:25:54 AM
If he performs well during the IPL 2020, then I guess the selectors will give him a chance. But he needs to counter the critics by scoring the runs at a good pace. During the CWC 2019, his strike rate was below what was expected from him, and that too during the final phases of the innings. Anyway, just two more months to go for the IPL. Let's see how he performs for the Chennai Super Kings.

6360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 25, 2020, 12:16:41 AM
Shaw may get a chance, but he is more likely to bat in the middle order. The Indian top order right now is composed of top players such as Kohli, Rohit and Rahul and there is no room for anyone else unless some of these players gets injured. On the other hand, the middle order batsmen (apart from Sreyas Iyer) are not in good form and the selectors will be more open to replacing them.
I am bit confused when India is shuffling players all the time in different formats as they have a few players that are playing in all the formats, especially Rohit Sharma and Kohli and the rest of the members keep on shuffling, is it because they are still finding the best combination because they have a big bench strength because they are the only team i think with entirely different players in Test, ODI and T20 which is actually confusing and even in the recent T20 against New Zealand i was expecting New Zealand to win as i have to seen those new players but surprised to see that they step up the situation and played a match winning knock.

Shuffling was started in Sourav Ganguly era when he became the captain of Indian team. The idea is to test new comers and find the suitable one. This applicable for both bowler and batsmen. As cricket is one of the most popular game played in India the amount of players coming out, new talent is also huge. Generally there are more batsmen than bowler.
