Question, how did you sweep private keys from Electrum into Iconomi wallet? I have a list of many private keys from Electrum and I don't see an easy way as there is no QR code in Electrum.
It is. Right click address, Show prv. key. And there is a little button to show QR. But I'm using electrum 2.9.3 (3.0 not working on my system) ... and I'm also not sure if coinomi will work with electrum 3.0 (as it is using different address format ... that might be reason why so many users had issues) Actually it works. Sweep and enter seed from mycelium to coinomi does not work, key format not recognized, however restore wallet from scratch in coinomi works right away with the same seed.
At first I set the derivation path when adding the btg coin in Coinomi to M/44H/0H/0H, no btg showed up. I added a second btg coin part in the same Coinomi but now without altering the derivation path and the coins showed up right away.

Hi when i have to keep bitcoin to receive bitcoin gold? i hold some bitcoin a week ago but i got nothing now.  BTG was credited to every address that held BTC at time of fork (snapshot was made 25.10.2017). So if you received your BTC later then you have no BTG. |

This might be result of personal meeting with some other buyer he scammed. Sorry for your loss. Expensive lesson learned. And you can see not even IDs are enough to prove the credibility. Casino investments are really nice because you can use leverage which means you can put 10xleverage and have 0.10btc and have 1btc invested. This is nice because if tou worried about the casino running off with your money they will only run off with 1/10th of it but I doubt that will happen. It also always you to invest the other 0.90btc elsewhere.
When you invest money don't always think the only advantage but also need to consider disadvantages because if you leverage 10x then you also can lose your investments 10X faster. Because if the site loses 10% of their bankroll, then you will lose almost all your investments. It is quite common gambling houses sometimes they will lose 10% of their bankroll if any big whales win few times. Yes i realize this but if you had 1btc in you would lose 0.1btc anyway. ... Yes, but your investment would continue being active (and eventually can recover). With the 10x leveraged 0.1btc the whole investment is simply over. |

When you click on backup. What's the output? Is it ask you to safe a file? Provides you with seed? Or anythig else?
Under Safety is Backup Wallet. It says your backup will be encrypted with the chosen password and written to external storage. then when you back it up it says it's been baked up to your device but that you should archive it somewhere externally basically (in so many words). Or if it's a removable SD card then the backup would be stored on that card. Hmm, to me it seems it is not the HD type (but I could be wrong). I highly advise you to use some HD one ( for reasons stated above ). |

Proper wallets should give you big red warning to make a backup right after you start it (and create new wallet). Problem is if this wallet is not deterministic you have to make backup everytime you generate new address. This is very unhandy. I recommend you to make a new one. Here is nice overview: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet (im very happy with electrum and mycelium ... both are deterministic) I actually used that site to pick the one I picked. : ). I don't think it's wrong. Lot of feedbacks is just some sort of personal revenge thus not relevant. Not to be trusted. (someone points out the scammer, scammer is angry and strikes back)
But you can make it so by adjusting your trust settings. All feedback then becomes trusted and you do not need to click to show them.

May I ask which wallet you are using?
I downloaded the original bitcoin wallet. It said it was the original one so I thought that might be a good one to try. It's very basic. It is the orange circle with the dollar sign B inside. I don't see anything about creating a new wallet or any private keys for me. It does have a menu with Safety under it and an option to backup wallet. But it's not like I open the app and see a way to create a wallet and get this private key that I get to keep. Hmm I'm cant say which one is it.
