Since this thing is going on in the local boards as well, there are 2 new additions to the list, Russian versions of the ANNs that were previously on the list, SUR and PZM Cash, same group accounts of accounts that are bumping English threads are doing in the Russian part as well.

As long as Lakers sorted all people that were in the direct contact with those 2 players, and if they are properly controlling them, I have no issues with them hiding that info from the public. Even though I don't see a reason to hide this, or to be ashamed, it is not those players fault, virus was given to them by someone else.

Now when I think of it, maybe naming those players would raise the awareness about the virus, like it happened when Gobert was tested positive. Until then, NBA leadership didn't care much about it, they were reluctant to take any precaution measures in fear of loosing profit,  but then overnight they paused the league an everyone was aware of the issue.

I don't think that makes much difference really, whether they are doing it by themselves or they hired someone as their end goal is the same-hype the project so some naive noob will think that there is real interest for this project, therefore invest and eventually loose all the money. And they are indeed sockpuppet accounts.

From what i can see, all accounts used in that thread are made back in 2018/2019, so Marketpeak most likely hired some bumping service as that's their usual M.O, using old accounts with barely any  previous activity. All those posts should be reported imho and this thing cut at the root, so maybe they give up.

Cocos-BCX has old ANN thread where they massively used bumping services for months, despite reports and tags, but they stopped with that some time ago. What's even worse is that they were doing that while they are listed on the Binance. That just shows how you can't trust some project just because you can trade their tokens on known exchange. Not the worst idea imho, this might work if done properly, and if everyone involved agrees, especially players.  There is a lot of money at stake, through TV rights and other commercial stuff, and I am sure that sponsors are pressing for season to be finished as well.
On the other hand, it is hard to plan anything few months in advance in current situation since no one knows how all this will end up.

I see some interesting ideas there, especially the one called "Mid-range 3-point zone". It could definitely bring more variety, as I am sure that I'm not the only one who is kinda bored with all that 3 pts shooting. Yeah it was fun at the beginning when GSW started dominating that way, but after some time it made teams one dimensional, and as they pointed out in the article, it brought us to the situation where Rockets are having 45  three point attempts per game. With that being said, the other idea, "One 3-point foul shot for all three points" is also not bad. Introducing even one of these would be improvement.

With one idea I strongly disagree though, and that's to give automatic 2 free throws for so called Euro Foul. I really don't think that NBA has to remove another tactical and physical aspect of the game. NBA is already fast enough and at the moment some games in regular season look like exhibitions with no defense and all that three point shooting, and this would just make it even worse than it is already.

One thing that I would like to see changed and I didn't see in the article is to sort out traveling. Referees should really focus more on that and start calling them. I understand that they probably have instructions to let it go in order  for games to  be more spectacular, but in my opinion, it is getting out of hand for years now, and something like that would be good for the game. Maybe I'm just old an school type of fan,  but I miss defense aspect of the game.

Yeah there  have been a lot of rumors lately  regarding that possibility, and yes, there would be losses for all teams, especially those that will go into playoff, but what's the alternative? To not finish season at all and have even more losses? Then there is question of draft, next season etc..

With virus spreading throughout US rapidly, i don't think that it is reasonable to expect this season to finish in a regular way, with normal playoff in front of fans.  So only way to finish it and still get some money from sponsors are games behind closed doors. Yeah it would suck big time, for the owners of the teams, players and fans, but pro sport will have to adapt to this new situation, there is no other way. After all, games without fans is something that we got used to here in Europe, albeit for different reasons.

Choose playoff teams based on current standings, put them all in one location, isolate them from others, and let the show begin! There is no much sport activity around the world anyway, so view numbers  would go through the roof!

Yeah i know about Burstex, they definitely used bumping services, i reported their activities 2 months ago in SpamBuster thread. Looks to me like they stopped 10 days ago so I won't include them for now, but that can always change.

Despite bump changes in altcoin board, thread bumping still goes on. It is not as effective as it used to be, but it is nevertheless annoying, and what is even worse, it might fool less experienced users, especially since some ICO trackers (e.g. ICObench) even give rating based on ANN activity.  I've been planning to make list like this for a last month or two, and I kept postponing it, but i guess it is better late than never.

In this topic i plan to keep all those announcement threads that are either using some external bumping services, or they are using their own sock puppet accounts in order to fake interest. List would be too big  if I  included all those that did that in the past (even recent one),  so I will focus only on those that are doing it at the moment, and from now on.

This is something that would make our board more organized, and it would have positive effects on the activity as well. More than once i wanted to open some topic, but it was kinda off-topic material so in the end i just gave up as I didn't want to start something that will possibly end up reported and deleted, or clutter our main section even more than it is now. Probably happened to others as well.

Making Off-topic section in our local  board wouldn't be precedent either, as from what I can see, at least few others have it as well -German, Indian, Italian, Dutch. Possibly few others have it too, but they call it differently. So obviously  we are not the only ones who felt the need for something like that.

Last but not the least, Croatian board  is among the most active ones (ranked 6th last month among local boards ), and with Indian the only active local board without the  mod,  so it wouldn't be be something that is introduced on a dead/semi active  board with few members. It doesn't look like we will get local mod any time soon, so this would be the next best thing, at least for now.

Good news indeed, and expected as they are pro athletes at their prime, and on top of that they have best medical services money can buy. I bet that 99% of them have mild symptoms so I'm sure that all the others will recover soon as well.

I hear a lot of talk lately about season continuing without the fans, more and more people in the media mentions it and I think that might become reality soon. Players like LeBron will just have to accept that. As it looks, it might be the only way to finish this season. But that comes with dome dangers as well. Posto KICK ima jako agresivnu marketinsku kampanju sa tim svojim Airdropom (koja srecom ne funkcionira sudeci po vrijednosti tokena) , scammeri naravno love u mutnom pa ima  hrpa laznih stranica na kojoj se kao otkljucavaju i trejdaju ti njihovi lockani   tokeni. A ovo izgleda kao jedna u nizu takvih prevara.
Cisto da dobijem potvrdu od njih, pitao sam ih o tome na njihovoj Telegram grupi, i njihov glavni admin mi je rekao da je to naravno  fejk i da bi oni najavili tako nesto na sluzbenom news channelu.
