I am willing to trade for just about anything from Home Depot for your mining hardware.

Let's deal!

You're trading items from Home Depot for mining hardware?

Yep! Smiley
662  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Radeon 6870x2 DUAL GPU card (Five/Six Remaining) on: September 13, 2012, 02:34:31 AM
Without an idea of what you are looking for, I doubt you'll get many serious offers.  And of course the longer you wait, the lower the price you'll get will go.  At this point, GenTarkin's offer looks over the top. Not sure you'd be able to get $150 for these right now.  Only 2.5 months or less left to block reward halving.
They're worth closer to $350 than $150 on ebay  Wink

Well, I'm assuming there's a reason he's not selling them on eBay.  No offense to you, but it gets tiring when someone mentions that "I can get higher on eBay".  And of course my response is, "Well why don't you just sell them on eBay?"
663  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS HD5xxx and HD6xxx cards on: September 12, 2012, 09:21:29 PM
I usually "live and let live" but wow... this is overpriced even if it was new...

yep.  I'd usually pm an offer on this, but pretty sure the seller would be offended by my offer, seeing as what he's expecting  Huh

666  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2 BFL singles on: September 10, 2012, 11:48:31 PM
I see a lot of these BFL single posts so I thought I would provide some input.

Buying used and having immediate delivery:

-$850 initial cash flow
(10BTC @ $11) = $110 x 12 months = $1320 total positive cash flow
Discount rate: ($1320-$850)/$850 = .55294 / 12 = .046078431 = 4.6078%
Net Present Value: $466.05
Internal Rate of Return: 7.520%
Projected 1-Year Profit: $470

Buying new and waiting two months for delivery:

-$600 initial cash flow
($0 x 2 months) + ($110 x 10 months) = $1100 total positive cash flow
Discount rate: ($1100-$600)/$600 = .8333 / 12 = .0694444 = 6.9444%
Net Present Value: $494.29
Internal Rate of Return: 8.844%
Projected 1-Year Profit: $500

$820 is the price at which the 1-year profits become the same ($500). Even then, the potential buyer must take into account the risk exposure he/she is subjecting themselves to.

Also, with the BFL SC products supposedly coming out next month, these things could potentially end up being worth hardly anything. Just my two cents.

LULZ!  You are expecting to make $110/month?  First of all, it's closer to about $104 assuming you aren't paying pool fees.  But in case you forgot about difficulty, I'll remind you that there is no way you are going to be making $110, $104, or even $80 a month for 12 months.  Oh.. and in case that wasn't enough, there's this other little thing called block reward halving which is currently expected in about 2.5 months.   Wink

Seller is responsible for all shipping costs.
Deal to be escrowed via Graet (ozcoin pool operator) as escrow agent.
BTC conversion rate to be calculated at the time of transfer of BTC from buyer to escrow agent, using Mt. Gox last sale price.

Escrow agent to release funds to buyer upon buyer satisfied with condition of cards, not to exceed 10 hours after receipt by buyer.
Seller is not guaranteeing the AFOX card but states that it does work.

I'll transfer funds to escrow as soon as Graet witnesses and sends me an escrow addy.

Thanks.
670  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Want to TRADE/Sell 5870 for 5850 or on: September 09, 2012, 07:56:18 PM
Looking to sell (USD PayPal or Bitcoin) my 5870 ATI cards of which I have two available. I am looking for either an amount exchange or a quasi trade including a 5850 card (I need up to 3 of these). Anyone interested or looking for a 5870? I have little feedback here, but plenty on eBay, gametz, PayPal, Neogaf.

I would buy a 5870 for $160 shipped to Canada...  They're EOL and 5970s are ~160 USD, so...

Can pay BTC or LTC or Paypal.  PM me if interested and I'll let you know where you'd be shipping to.

5970s are ~160 USD.  Where please.  So that I can buy them all up.
671  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: pirate payments list -- accounts paid: 23/459 on: September 09, 2012, 06:06:02 PM
There's a streaming ratings channel where everyone can watch the ratings change in real time.   #bitcoin-otc-ratings

IRC is uber gay. It's like using a cell phone to send text messages. It's like buying a new car and having a horse pull it around while you are inside it.

and forums are better how? at least irc is real time.

677  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB a heatsink for a reference 5970 on: September 08, 2012, 03:20:48 PM
I have one but what are you offering?

uh, i'll trade a broken 5870 for it?     i'll probably scavenge the fan off of it, but I'd leave the heat sink there.

though i've been told that it's beyond repairable.

i think the GPU itself is undamaged, but the se quadrant of the card essentially got sandpapered

sandpapered???!!!

That's a story I got to hear!
