681  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: GHASH.IO vs ELIGIUS.ST on: May 21, 2014, 08:19:36 PM
My advice Stop mining there and go find a new home. Because it should have triggered yesterday when they finally pushed it.
And that wallet addy is a bunch of pure BS spewed to make you feel like you got support.
I never deleted my wallet addy or changed it and was paid like it should have worked all along.

So, Bitcoin will drop to $1.

Why, is that you may ask?

Because it will.
the world will end one day as well.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins are worth investing in? on: May 21, 2014, 04:17:23 PM
I am watching peercoin and darkcoin right now.
Only investing hashing power though. Namecoin needs some fresh air breathed into it.

684  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: GHASH.IO vs ELIGIUS.ST on: May 21, 2014, 04:00:57 PM
I'm checking out give me coins right now. Don't know about profit though since I just started and their pool
hashrate is low compared to the other 2. Probably take longer for payout but will be the same in the end.
ps: google loves all of you
685  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: If you consider getting an ASIC machine, read this on: May 20, 2014, 08:42:27 PM
Because tomorrow morning when you wake up bitcoin might be worth less than a doge.
That's why they continue to sell the machines. Sure they could manufacture and mine with all the gear.
Bank away all the bitcoins they mine and hope the market gets back to 1k a btc and cash in.
Or they can mine some and sell some and still be ahead of the game .
Who is investing millions in a digital currency and sitting on the coin? Not any smart investor..
Does that cryptocoinnews actually produce any good reads? Seems like a spamazine..
686  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: GHASH.IO vs ELIGIUS.ST on: May 20, 2014, 07:36:23 PM
Ghash can't seem to get their autopayout to work at all and while the 2fa is sweet, it could be more flexible.

This in my case isn't true: autopayout is always triggered (yes, every day), and there aren't fees like the manual.

Where the 2fa could be more flexible?
Really? Well you're a special case because there are a lot of us who have been waiting over 48 hrs for it to engage and some have been waiting 8 days.
F2a how about using passkeys instead of attaching a number to the account? I sure in the hell am not giving a number to a site that isn't even regulated.
But I know everyone uses a phone even Richard Stallman, right?
687  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: GHASH.IO vs ELIGIUS.ST on: May 20, 2014, 03:05:11 PM
Eligius has had namecoin payout issues for the last several months.
Eligius auto payout is too high as well, I don't like that much coin sitting on any site.
Ghash can't seem to get their autopayout to work at all and while the 2fa is sweet, it could be more flexible.
Ghash fees for manual withdraws are steep as well imnsho.
I like Ghash's site though; but I am looking currently for another pool that can get the auto payout to work.*
*plus a bunch of other options that ghash and eligius don't offer...
With that said, the option of opening a new pool is appealing to me, just getting new miners to join to make it worth
everyones time.
688  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.439 BTC for 180GH/s on: May 19, 2014, 06:28:19 PM
Anyone want to sell one (1) S1 for .439 btc shipped in the states? I don't want to order direct since I don't want to buy 2 right now.
Or somehow work out a way to order the 2nd one with me and figure out how to do shipping?
taken care of thanks for the responses
689  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGMiner 3.10.0: modular ASIC+FPGA, GBT+Strtm, RPC, Mac/Lnx/W64, AntU1, DRB, HFA on: May 19, 2014, 05:40:48 PM
Taugeran  thanks for the help and effort but I still couldn't get that file to run correctly.
I have no clue why, I tried a few different things from copying the code you posted to moving commas.
I'm done with it, I've configured nginx faster than this bloody thing.
As suggested I slapped together a batch file to just execute 2 instances on their own using
their own config file *&^&^)*&6 works ok and was done in 5 mins compared to this nightmare.
690  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGMiner 3.10.0: modular ASIC+FPGA, GBT+Strtm, RPC, Mac/Lnx/W64, AntU1, DRB, HFA on: May 19, 2014, 02:36:04 PM
I have 2 antminer u2's I'm running but I would like to clock each one individually
and set the parameters in the conf file.

I'm sure my syntax is wrong and hope someone can steer me right.
A few pages back a poster shows some examples of it on linux which is what I'm going off of.
I'm on windows but it shouldn't matter if I get the syntax correct?

Default working config file shows
Code:
"scan" : [
"amu:all"
],
"set-device" : [
"antminer:clock=x0A01"

So I edited it to reflect this
Code:
"scan" : [
    "amu:\\\\.\\COM5"
],
"set-device" : [
"antminer:clock=x0A01"

works like it should, it launches and runs the device on com5 at the speed specified.

The two issues I'm having is adding the 2nd device under scan seems to break
and attempting to change the syntax under set device breaks it no matter how I edit it.
The syntax I was attempting
"antminer:\\\\.\\COM5:clock=x0A01"

So basically I edited the conf file to look like this and it won't run...
Code:
"scan" : [
    "amu:\\\\.\\COM5"
    "amu:\\\\.\\COM7"
],
"set-device" : [
"antminer:\\\\.\\COM5:clock=x0A01"
        "antminer:\\\\.\\COM7:clock=x0B81"

I'm sure it's stupid like extra quotations or something..  Sad

Set device device specific settings should be: antminer@\\\\.\\COM5:clock=
well that works for one but adding the 2nd line kills it. Either line works fine com5/com7
but adding both lines won't launch.
Code:
"scan" : [
    "amu:\\\\.\\COM5"
    "amu:\\\\.\\COM7"
],
"set-device" : [
    "antminer@\\\\.\\COM5:clock=x0A01"
    "antminer@\\\\.\\COM7:clock=x0A01"
I just went with a good working clock to get it to launch but no dice.

MudbankKeith: Icarus flag isn't required for this stick, Tried with and without and noticed nothing in performance.
 and yes running 2 instances works fine but it isn't what I want.
1 nice window where they all play nice together with different clock settings. Less files to screw with etc etc.

when we already have crypto currencies, master cards, paypal and other shit, why do we use cash?

I don't use cash. I always buy things online or use debit card.

What is the problem with giving the full information to government about the transactions?? It will help the fair one and will help in punishing the person who does wrong.
If it needs to be explained you wouldn't understand still.

Their business model is based on selling (your) information and showing you ads. Basically they are trying to optimize this to make more profit.
Obviously this involves recording your searches (Google search), recording your everyday life (Google glass), recording your talks (Android phone), recording your business talks (Gmail), recording your appointments (Google calendar). They have the same business model as say Facebook, Microsoft (Skype/Hotmail), Yahoo and many others.

Sure, ideally you want a search engine where nothing gets recorded, you do not see advertisements, the search results are accurate and you do not pay a penny.  But.. how are you going to get money as company?

www.startpage.com they seem to be doing ok making money.

because cash keeps its lips sealed when it needs to and talks when it needs to.

Google might be evil, but I can scrape any forum/site just with site:domain: search text

example site:bitcointalk.org: overclocking gridseed

And google is on spot.

I use to use ixquick, duckduckgo, they all suck. they don't do what google can do. Google search engine is so powerful and their gmail is wicked. google drive is awesome.

Google works for me, I work for them in a way as well but kinda don't as I block ads, their redirects with ABP & redirect cleaner.

If you ever noticed when you search google, click a link and you slightly see a link show up in the urlbar rather than the source or hover your mouse over a google link it's does not show the source? redirect cleaner cleans this mess up.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/redirect-cleaner/

Code:
Redirect Cleaner cleans Redirects from Links
www.example.com?url=www.mozilla.org
startpage Smiley that's the point of google, it has to work like that or who would use it?
It's corporate NSA style. along with facebook

seriously did you just raise the cost of the auto payout fee?
if .02 wasn't getting raped enough on top of the pool fee you raise it to .03?
And you raised the auto payout as well I mean WTF!
I am outta here I should just abandon my piddly crap now to the pool but you would probably take that as well.

Oh, we set it back to 0.01 again.
There was too many little payouts and we changed it to encourage big payout.

We changed it back. Sorry again.
that is some shady shit, You just did it without any kind of notice.
No posting on your site or here.

Google is evil?I dont think so.
I do and so do a lot of others. ease of use comes at a price. One advertisers pay very well for.
