Progress update
I'v been in contact with a developer of another coin. He's interested in implementing a basic form of Masternodes for Crowncoin. This could be a great step for CRW and add long term stability to the network.
Why I think we need "Basic Masternodes"
Basic Masternodes are like Dash Masternodes but without coin mixing and transaction locking, basically just paid full nodes. Miners and "Basic Masternodes" get a split of coinbase reward, thats it.
This hopefully will add many more full nodes to the network and improve security.
However, a bounty must be paid and funds must be raised by the community.
If Crowncoin's knights are willing to back this project, then please contact me
to run a masternode you don't need your wallet open. just a friendly reminder. Well the "masternode" is separate to your actual wallet, the masternode sits on a VPS , always open and your usual wallet can be closed. Your usual wallet has nothing to do with your masternode wallet. Unless you use your masternode wallet as your main wallet.

The attempted manipulation of the market by certain individual/s has resulted in many/most/all potential CRW traders moving on, hence the massive price drop. The only traders left are the ones responsible who are now having to buy/sell their own orders in order to keep CRW from being delisted due to inactivity.
if Crowncoin devs put half as much effort into marketing the coin instead of trying to control the exchange price - CRW would flourish.
The marketcap for Crowncoin is about $3000-$5000, it only takes a $100 to swing the market 300%/400%. If your talking about the high volume the other day, yes that was one of our team buying and selling. But that was only 20 minuets of trading to specifically stay on ccex. The market went down because one of the team left, sold their coins and crashed the market. Apart from all that, we have a few ideas that we're trying to get implemented.

I'v downloaded the V2 client from github but I don't know how to run it once I have it.
Can I has instructions please?
It is only a preview AFAIK... it won't connect to no network still. Ahh, i see thanks! I need a windows wallet, the op link is dead.

CRW up for delisting again. It will have to break volume to get passed this round.
Yep, i noticed this the other day. We may have to rely on yobit for future trading. But thats cool, once crowncoin pulls more interest in ccex will snap us back up

1PH hashrate If this carries on the difficulty will raise, not fall
|
|
|
Am I right in saying the difficulty is due to change? It looks like it could be today or tomorrow.
It'll be interesting to see what kind of hashrate we bring in the next time difficulty corrects

We're still looking for someone to implement a basic version of masternodes into our code. (We only want the paid node incentive part).
If someone is looking for a little side project, we'd love to have a chat and organise a bounty!
for what coin ? so we all know what u talking about Derp. CROWNCOINCrowncoin.orgCRW threadIt's sha 256 btw. Thanks We're still looking for someone to implement a basic version of masternodes into our code. (We only want the paid node incentive part).

Implementation is but the tip of the iceberg. Ofcourse, the infrastructure and community needed to sustain such a network like Dash is huge. But we do have big plans and I see paid full nodes like paid miners to be the bedrock for a solid network.

The difficulty is based on number of blocks, so if the hashrate drops, it takes longer for the next difficulty adjustment to happen.
Ahhh I see. Yes I notice that blocks are sparse. Between 1-10 minutes. Thanks domob Also I used your brilliant time stamping tool yesterday for a very important document, works a treat!

Familiar with masternode code? We're looking for someone who can take our core code and implement masternodes.
Only the reward system needs adding not any mixing or fancy stuff, just a paid fullnode network.
I've already found a sha256 coin with some masternode code.
We're willing to pay in BTC and CRW, please pm me if you're interested.

Could someone help? I'm trying to convince the team I'm working with to implement masternodes, solely for the full node network security benefits. Domob seems quite reluctant to add the code, so I ask for help in the home of masternodes Can someone explain how the masternode system is provably fair? As much info as possible would be great, please pm me

210 th / s now mate The hashrate is the lowest I've seen in a while, 82TH!
Other merged mined coins like unobtainium only have about 200TH atm.
We should push to be added onto coinwarz. We have one of the biggest hash rates of alt coins but no sign of being added.
I think it's the high difficulty It'd be cool too see a difficulty chart, I'll look into building one.

You can thank me if you get added. https://twitter.com/clark_alastair/status/725657495914598404 go and create some noise now, retweet, and make your own tweets to coinwarz. I'll thank you in crowncoin if we get added. Thanks!

Can I ask who has took the role of lead dev?
|
|
|
Yes we have contact with domob, and also with other devs who are on board - send me what should I tell them! Kamilosa who was responsible for the android wallet left the team. Has wallet development been stopped?
Great. I sent 10k to the development of the wallet, I doubt I'll get that back. So what's the plan now? I still think we need paid full nodes. This adds extra security to the network by countering mining power. I've seen a few sha-256 coins with 'masternodes', so it shouldn't be impossible to implement. We just need someone to do it. Do we still have contact with domob? Sorry I just read your msg. I'll pm you mate

Skullbuzz was a sha-256 coin with masternodes https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1066128.0Their github https://github.com/SkullBuzz/SkullBuzz?files=1I will try to find the masternode code
