681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance is it required to verify account to withdraw coins? on: January 26, 2018, 03:18:44 AM
What I know is Bittrex needs a verified account to withdraw our coins but what about Binance exchange?

Now I got one account whether I can use this account without verification?

As long as you do not exceed 2 BTC for 24 hr withdrawal limit then you do not need to verify. I am unverified in Binance too and I already withdraw a couple of times successfully. If you want to withdraw a higher amount then you can submit your documents for verification. If you are approved for Level 2 then you can withdraw up to 100 BTC for 24 hr limit and if you want to withdraw a higher amount then you can contact their support for higher limit. It's good that they still allow withdrawal without verification and it is their edge compared to Bittrex.
682  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poll: Do you think a new plastic card issuer will be found after wavecrest off? on: January 26, 2018, 03:00:09 AM
Yes they can find one. Every day, there are new members of the crypto community so when it comes to business, when there are many potential customers then that is where the money is. It is quite a big opportunity for the issuer to just let go of this opportunity and maybe they will be able to resolve the issue and wavecrest will be back or another one would take-over. It will not take a long time for them to find one though since crypto-market is a big market and those companies are just thinking of ways to take the opportunity without violating the existing regulations.
683  Economy / Marketplace / Re: China calling for a wider ban on Crypto currency trading ? on: January 26, 2018, 02:30:40 AM
China just always do that banning thing for the past years may it be a rumor or an actual news. It has heavily affected the price of bitcoin in the past and due to the new members of the crypto ecosystem, there are still many who panic sell because of this news but then it doesn't affect the price that much compared to months or years ago because China don't hold that much volume in the crypto world anymore. The Korean news though has a big impact but then as what we have observed in the past, price will recover and then reach all time high again.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs Bitcoin as goal of investments on: January 26, 2018, 01:58:48 AM
Many people out there don´t believe that Ethereum can be a long term hodling, they simply use it participate in ICOs, sell and buy bitcoin again with the profit. Do you think that may change this year and ethereum can be seen as the choice to hodl?

Ethereum is one of the coins that I hold for long term because it is one of the coins that are actually used and not just for speculation purposes. It is one of the coins that is stable and keep on growing because there is a demand for it even though its price is far from bitcoin. I believe there are many people who are holding it for long term because it is useful and there are many exchanges that use it as base coin beside bitcoin and their own coin so it is just wise to hold the coin for long term purposes because we can see that its creator is very active as well. Innovations keep coming in so there is a high chance for it to be more valuable in the future.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Pump & Dump Group on: January 25, 2018, 03:46:35 AM
It´s very risky to do that. As you said, the coins are being pumped without any objective reason so they can dump in any moment. You should just do your own research and invest in what you think that is better.

I recently bought Syscoin base on my analysis and after a few hours, I was surprised with the price that immediately pump. I knew later that it was tweeted by John McaAfee so that is the effect of his tweet. I got lucky then I was able to buy it before the pump and I immediately sold the coin because I already set a sell price. After a while, price is dumping and even lower before the pump. This is not good for the crypto community as mostly those newbies who are just following the hype are taking the dump. I've been trading on Bittrex and they already warn those who are participating in the pump and dump to suspend their accounts so it would be better to just do your own research because most of the time, the one who profit in the P and D scheme are the ones who are implementing it.
686  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-01-24] Bitcoin Trader Made Millions Trading on Margin, Then Lost It All on: January 25, 2018, 03:04:12 AM
He could be a millionaire already but then greediness strikes and he lost it all. Margin trading is really a bad idea when you can't control your emotion. I did read some who commented in that post with the same situation as him and as what he said, you are just too hype up that you can't just control yourself when you are in that situation. Clearly it is gambling because if he is just rational in his decision then at least he should just cash out at least half of what he earned so that he is confident he still has some even if he lost it all later on. This is a reminder for us all not to be greedy and though it is hard to be not emotional when trading, at least we should have money and risk management because we never know what the future will be.
687  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leave full time office job to trade crypto? on: January 25, 2018, 01:52:56 AM
I just quit my office job to have full time in crypto world. I split my time of day to work manything: doing bounty campains, researching good crypto to invest, trading 3 - 4 times per week (not day trading) and may be next time i'll  learn about mining.
Anyone who has been off work like me can share your experiences?

Count me in. I went overseas to work but due to some problems, I came back home and have a business instead. I don't want to go back to an office job and concentrate more in my business but upon checking out the crypto world months later, I see an earning opportunity. I have been in crypto when I am still working overseas and forgot about it when I came back but when I check the price again, bitcoin is increasing that's why I decided to earn more from it. I knew about the bounty campaigns in the forum so I decided to participate again and so far it's good. I am also doing trading. My advise is to not depend on crypto alone, find another source of income not crypto-related so you have multiple source of income.
688  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New exchange wishes to get some advises. on: January 24, 2018, 02:17:18 AM
If you are the only coder for the exchange I suggest you not to do it.

obviously there is a team for this project Cheesy the exchange would be online in few weeks~

Well that would be good but try to ride with good features and new promotions so that your exchanger site will became popular, also try to do some poll so that you could get the pulse of the people on what kind of features or ways of coin addition will your site have so that you can gather much attention to the people who seeks their coin to be added on new exchange come here.

I agree with this one. A poll would be a good way of knowing the pulse of the people what they want to see in a certain exchange. Of course you would have to look at your current competitors and see their strengths and weaknesses and then try to look for solutions to their issues so that when the issues arise in your incoming trading site, you can solve the issue as soon as possible. A direct deposit and withdrawal to your site with fiat currency would be awesome. Some coins are listed through payment and some through votes so you have to decide what way you want to list coins and have promotions too like what Kucoin is doing.
689  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you all in when trading? on: January 24, 2018, 02:03:35 AM
This would produce the most gains , but if you predict wrong you could be stuck waiting for the price to either come back up or down to get back in. I did this the other day. I sold and bought back in at what I had predicted was going to be the next upswing. However some last second sellers swooped in and dropped the price below my limit. Then it just continued to fall from there. Now I sit and wait for the price to come back up to my purchase price so I can get back at it. I hate waiting. I get antsy. I should have left some money in reserve so I could have at least bought in at the bottom. I got greedy. Now I wait.  Sad

I can totally relate to you mate when I first started trading. I am going all in because the more I put funds into it, the more profit I will have if it goes my way. I am having enormous profit but then as expected, my lesson came. Price is continuously going down and I could not do anything because I don't have any funds left and as what you said, I said to myself that I should have left some to buy at the dip but because I went all in, I have nothing left. Even if the price went up thereafter, it is below my buy price so I am still at a loss and if I would have funds left then I would have buy more at the dip and be in profit already. Nowadays, I only buy in portions and do not think of the profit much because profit is still profit no matter how big or small it is.
690  Economy / Economics / Re: do you really like crypto coin? on: January 24, 2018, 01:36:54 AM
I think all people in this forum like crypto because if not then they would not be in here. Crypto has been a big help financially that's why more people are willing to learn it and the members of this forum are growing as well. Personally, I would have a much harder time looking for financial means because earning in fiat has so much competition so the emergence of crypto has bring a new light. The technology behind it is amazing as well because it would be a big help in all industries if use properly.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would we know which cryptocurrency would be Scam? on: January 23, 2018, 03:40:04 AM
As of now there are 1500+ cryptocurrency exists in the world.
Many dead many rising and many has to come.
So how can i know the currency  ,where i am putting my money is not a part of scam?
Or is there any other way so we can check about respected crypto might be it'll work?

One of the things that I look for when a cryptocurrency has a potential to be a scam is a coin like bitconnect. When a coin has a guaranteed return then it would be like a ponzi scheme because nothing is guaranteed when it comes to crypto. There are many lending coins that are emerging nowadays and I can see that most of them has a scheme like bitconnect so avoid this kind of coins. In this forum alone, you can check the sentiment of the people in a coin by looking at their post in the announcement topic of the coin. You can also check those ICO rating sites if they have a good outlook of the coin.
692  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to find good cryptos? on: January 23, 2018, 03:22:12 AM
Hi,

there are so many cryptos and I find it hard to identify the ones where I should have a closer look.
Obviously one can find cryptos e.g. by listening to shilling on Reddit. But I'm looking for more professional sources like YouTube channels, free/ paid Telegram/Discord groups and so on. What do you use?

I am a short term trader so I suggest to look at those coins that has an upcoming events because news has a huge influence when it comes to price in crypto. Besides, these are the coins that has a high tendency of being shilled by the people may it be in reddit, twitter or telegram because they have a reason why someone should buy that coin. Take a look at https://coinmarketcal.com/. It is cryptocurrency calendar and you can contribute in there too if you know an important event of a certain coin. I also use https://cryptostat.org/. It is a site wherein the volume and prices of the coins are track in different time frames so you can see the percentage changes which is a big help when you are looking for a coin that has a big change in price or volume. It is paid though. If you want to know about some ICOs, try https://icobench.com/. They also review an ICO which you would like them to review for a fee.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT IS THE BEST ICO??? on: January 23, 2018, 02:12:09 AM
The best ICO would be the coin that has a finish project already in mind not those ICOs that the roadmap, whitepaper or website are yet to be created. If they are really serious with their project then they should have these things beforehand. The project should be achievable and the hardcap should not be that big because if the project is that successful then investors will just naturally pour in. I would suggest for you OP to take a look at this site. This is one of the prestigious sites to look out for when looking for an ICO. https://icobench.com/
694  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's up with arbitrage on: January 22, 2018, 02:47:42 AM
Has anyone in been observing this craze lately? Basically certain exchanges will have consistent price differences with other major ones. I'm not talking Bitfinex, which is probably done for, but pretty much all else known to be reliable exchanges.

I'm wondering, isn't there any pressure to close such gaps in the price? it's really a good chance for traders to profit with arbitrage but I really can't fathom how those gaps remain open for hours.

I did observe that there are many arbitrage opportunities and I do believe that many have benefited from it but then people are somewhat reluctant to do it because there are times when orders would not be executed because of some problems and in case of some huge arbitrage opportunties, most likely the exchange would deactivate the wallet of that certain coin so that traders would not be able to benefit from it. There are some cases then that an arbitrage would be successful but when one arbitrage goes wrong, the one who is doing it would be reluctant to do it again especially if it involves a large amount.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GRAFT - Universal Payment Processing Network on: January 22, 2018, 02:31:44 AM
Ok, so the question remains, and I've never heard a clear cut answer.  What is going to be done about the GRF tokens in my Nano wallet from pre-ico.  They're being convertated by 100x?  How is this going to happen?  Instructions?

Graft-project said that we can exchange the GRF tokens upon the launching of mainnet. Here's his reply in the signature campaign thread. I am waiting for an update also.

Hi guys,

The grf:tokens for week 5 have been transferred. BTC payments are being transferred.
Reminder - you will be able to exchange your NEM Mosaic grf:tokens to GRF coins (1:100) as soon as the GRAFT mainnet is launched (mid January).

Happy New Year 2018!

GRAFT Network team

Just an update! Mainnet is already live as announced. Hoping for an instruction how to convert it to 100x as well.

696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm gonna sell my house on: January 22, 2018, 01:49:02 AM
I am sure we touched the bottom today. so i am going to real Estate Dealer for selling my house and buy bitcoin. I suggest you all do that

If what you really say is true then make sure that you still have other house to go to in case something goes wrong. The rise of bitcoin is more likely but then we don't know what will be the verdict of the people and the government in the future so you should always have a back up plan or else you will end up in the streets. In our country, I know someone who did sell his house to buy bitcoin but it was months ago when it was still at $4,000 so he is lucky to be able to buy before the rally to $20,000. For now, it may be a good or bad decision but then if you can afford to lose it then go for it. Good luck mate!
697  Bitcoin / Press / [2018-01-21] Bitcoin Futures: A Way to Control Cryptocurrency Markets? on: January 21, 2018, 11:47:05 AM
Can Wall Street investors manipulate the cryptocurrency markets via Bitcoin futures? Based on the recent fall in the markets during the week of January 15th, it seems that “yes” is the answer to that question.

During the market slump last week, there was some banter on Reddit that the crash was going to end Wednesday, January 17 at 4:00 PM EST when the markets closed the first Bitcoin futures contracts on the CBOE expired at $10,900 per Bitcoin. There was even a countdown posted by one Reddit user. While the price of Bitcoin did not rocket back up in the immediate aftermath, altcoins started to rebound hours after the futures contracts expired.

Futures Strategy
Many institutional investors are wise to use the futures contracts to lower the Bitcoin price to buy in lower by setting the stop-loss triggers at support levels to push down the price further and further to make it look like a crash. This scares novice investors to support the bears and sell to avoid a total loss. By taking this strategy, the Wall Street investors are strategically pushing down the price for in order to re-enter at much lower levels and potentially set Bitcoin up for another rocket rise to unprecedented highs. Then, assumingly, collect profits and repeat the cycle, increasing profits each time Bitcoin rises and falls.

United: We All Fall and Rise Together
Interestingly, the cryptocurrency market seems to rise and fall simultaneously with the altcoins. Is a systemic issue that causes this harmonious rise and fall of prices on the exchanges? The answer is a little fuzzy, but there are several factors at play. Most exchanges use Bitcoin as the universal trading currency, which leads to many investors buying and selling Bitcoin to buy and sell altcoins. When bitcoin starts a bull run, many of the altcoins fall, as investors jump on the Bitcoin train and vice versa. It’s also systemic because most exchanges require Bitcoin rather than fiat currency to transact. It is easy to invest fiat currency in the market and then leave there as an investor trades it; moving it from one currency to another and not cashing it back to fiat currency. Furthermore, When the Bitcoin price falls or rises against the fiat currency, all the altcoins will usually follow. This is because all altcoin prices are based on their Bitcoin exchange rate, not their fiat currency exchange rate. The value of an altcoin in fiat currency is the value of the altcoin in Bitcoin and then Bitcoin’s value in that fiat currency. It is Bitcoin that strongly affects pricing.

With much of the market tied into Bitcoin, it makes it easy for the Bitcoin Futures contracts to manipulate the entire cryptocurrency market because it is not just the value of the altcoins is the value of the altcoins in relation to the value of bitcoin.

The next litmus test is coming this Friday, January 26th when the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) futures contracts on Bitcoin are set to expire. Given that the cryptocurrency market is recovering, it is likely that the contracts could continue the bull run or not.

698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are there no bounty signature campaigns for newbies? on: January 21, 2018, 11:23:11 AM
If you are a newbie, you still need to learn a lot from this forum and there is a tendency for you to just spam the forum to increase post count because you will be excited to complete your post count. It is just wise that most of the signature campaign starts from Jr. Member or above because given that you are active in the forum for a month, it is presumed that you already know the forum and signature campaign rules so that there would be a quality discussion in the forum. It would also benefit all the members of this forum because people would just contribute a quality post so we will learn a lot.
699  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HitBTC is suspected of defrauding users' assets on: January 21, 2018, 11:07:04 AM
It's sad to know that one of those long-standing exchange has a bad reputation already. I am thinking of depositing to this exchange because of the ICOs that I am following is listing first in this exchange but then found out about this problem. I would have deposited some funds already thanks to this forum for the info. I should just wait then for the next exchange that they will be listed in. I hope that this will not happen to other exchanges because it seems to be starting to have some issues already but I hope it will not reach to this point.
700  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Books or youtube to learn how to trade on: January 21, 2018, 10:45:25 AM
Actually, Google can help you with that. Got this one for you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YACeMe6lIJc. It show how Basic Trading works.   Although it will teach you about the basics. I suggest not to rely on those, trading can't be learned overnight.

Thanks for your answer. Google give me million of names and books, hard to find the good way. I dont want to be the best trader in 24 hours Smiley just learn, try, fail... learn harder, try harder ... ah ah

Depends on what material do you learn fast. Some are good at reading and some are good visually and learn more if they see it personally. As for me, I learn more when I watch youtube videos because I can see the actual patterns and shapes and then movement but when I want to know more about a certain pattern or shape then I would find a reading material. The first step that I did when I am just starting to trade is learn through babypips.com because it is a step by step process. Maybe you want to learn from it too.
