6962  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshi Roulette - Site wide update - New Games and Features on: January 22, 2013, 05:39:12 AM
Free Jackpot Bumps

To celebrate our site update we have bumped some jackpots
enjoy playing games with a low or negative house edge.

The games to check out currently are:

Jackpot dice - I have spread over 1 btc around on the jackpots, some bets are now have a negative house edge (or payout % greater than 100 if you prefer).
Roulette - Added 0.3 btc to the jackpot and lowered the limit to 0.25 so the jackpot is now active.
Slot Machines - we have added a new game Long Street and bumped several jackpots, one slot machine currently has a negative house edge.
Pretty cool! Yesterday I played in the 'slot machines' where the house edge was around -23% Smiley

Lol, but a new asset on bitfunder? Awesome  Grin
6966  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] BITINVEST - Transparent low risk investment bond on: January 22, 2013, 02:24:16 AM
First Report!

Shares sold: 941
Amount Raised: 94.1 BTC * 0.0096 = 93.196 BTC
(Average bitfunder fee was 0.96%, currently fee tier 2)

Revenue
Fortnightly interest from insured ATC777 loan: 0.215 BTC*
BTC-BOND dividends: 0.0493 BTC
Fortnightly interest from btcQuick.com inventory loan: 0.337 BTC*
Bitfinex interest: 0.01 BTC

* = brought forward by asset issuer to match up with btcinvest's dividend cycle

Total: 0.6113 BTC
Management fee: Not taken as a bonus Smiley
Dividends: 0.6113 BTC

(We raised 93.196 BTC not instantly at the IPO but rather through the past 14 days, your actual ROI is higher since you didn't hold the bond for the full 14 days)

Holdings
BTC-BOND - 2762 shares, value 27.62 BTC
Loan to ATC777 (insured by asset issuer), value 35 BTC
Loan to btcQuick.com, value 15 BTC
G.SDICE - 3,558 shares, value 19.39 BTC
Coin reserves: 0.0 BTC

Values for stocks are based on last traded price.

Total: 97.01 BTC
NAV: 0.10309 / bond

Report
Why is the NAV higher? Well, we purchased shares when they were cheaper than now. G.SDICE shares were severely undervalued when we brought the.

You'll notice that two of the holdings are loans - I have substantial trust in ATC777, and will be covering it personally in case he defaults (it's in the contract). Likewise for btcQuick, the owners behind it has hired me for programming work to make selling and giving bitcoins easier, which shows that they're committed to their business.

Bitfinex funds was not earning interest, because of the lack of traders wanting to short BTC on their platform. So we currently hold no bitcoins in bitfinex.

Dividends will be paid out on BitFunder as soon as weex lets me send it after 6 confirms.

No, I expected big wins from Dragon's Tale
Lips sealed The 'investment' was Dragon's Tale??
To be honest, some of the skill based games are quite cool. One of them is the duck feeding one - basically, if the ducks are aligned in the right location, you have a ~50% chance or so to predictably get X winnings, ~25% chance that it will go left, and ~25% chance that it'll go right. If you keep playing this game in a favorable situation, you pretty much can make a lot of coins. Over enough time, the cost to play is going to be so expensive that it's not worth it anymore.

But I did make about 3000% ROI in that game.
6969  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: January 21, 2013, 02:25:48 AM
Many colas exist but there is only one coke

The way I see it,
satoshiDICE is a household name in the bitcoin niche. It would take ad spend beyond belief for an upstart to match them on branding.

What could a competitor even say to get interest? "Hey look at us, we are like satoshiDICE" ... um, ok. So why not just play at SD?

Lower house edge?
Somehow make the website interactive so you can watch your bet do something fun/funny?
Add a new twist to the game where you can somehow make the last bet influence the next?
I dunno. Just day dreaming here.

The internet is fickle tho. Myspace is a good example of a leader blowing it.

There is always progressive jackpots!
6970  Economy / Lending / Re: 2.6 BTC loan - Febuary 2nd on: January 20, 2013, 10:57:20 PM
Hello Im looking for a loan of 2.6 Bitcoins as I am just short of purchasing mining hardware off BitMit. I will pay back with interest 0.5 BTC on Febuary 2nd, the day I get my paycheck.

I have no problem with giving ID, Facebook, phone, and address to trusted members of the forum. My bitcoin address is 1Cuw7Nn7mEALntLbbdKQCnKswteujytpvq

Please contact me for personal information, only if trusted member of forums please!
I suggest not purchasing mining hardware - ASICs are going to make GPU mining useless, and FPGA ones most likely to be a loss.
6971  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 2 BTC - 12 Days on: January 20, 2013, 10:56:12 PM
I don't know, probably because I have
paying dividends that pays off after some time

But anyway. I'm paying this
loan off. On or before deadline
Well the deadline is in a few days.. What happened to the 5 BTC?
6972  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 2 BTC - 12 Days on: January 20, 2013, 01:55:38 AM
I bought some shares
from Hashpower and Bitfunder

and 1/10 of what was
left went into Dragon's Tale

If this doesnt pay out soon
I'm taking another loan to pay
this off of course

But I just recently
got an offer for my services
of 5BTC. I'll use that if he
Likes it and pays me.

What holdings do you have right now? Did.. you expect 25% profit in 12 days?
6973  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinGamblin.com - Website for sale! on: January 19, 2013, 11:38:38 PM

I am taking offers on my premier gambling site, http://bitcoingamblin.com

Months of development and research have gone into this project and I have made a verifiable 6 BTC profit to date.

The sale includes free domain name transfer, MIDI background music, grumpy cat and happy cat. (Dancing baby NOT included!) All offers considered!

You have made a 6 btc profit? I only see a total of 6 btc to your address. Does that mean your house edge is close to 100%?
6974  Economy / Lending / Re: 1 BTC Loans Offered on: January 19, 2013, 12:35:55 PM
Is this not standard procedure? Its what I did when I got a loan. Tell me one reason why you shouldn't take precautions like that.

I ask for ID with address, photo, etc, but not for a 1 BTC loan. Have enough OTC rep, have a few successful trades, etc and I'll send you coins for small amounts.

Updated to chromium version 23. It does not work, after installing and clicking on 'My Wallet' I see the sensitive data popup, the account settings page, and no I'm not even signed in. Obviously the wallet isn't working.

Two warnings when installing (load unpacked) - Unrecognized manifest key api_console_project_id and container.
6977  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: January 19, 2013, 12:00:04 PM
No verifier extension installed on this particular computer or Chromium and running Chromium Version 22.0.1215.0 (147829). Still cannot seem to get this to work for whatever reason.

Sorry not sure what the problem would be. Anyone else running Chromium that can test it?

Confirmed: Cannot install Blockchain.info extension on Chromium.

EDIT: Disregard that, Chromium was outdated and was on version 20, which was before the Chrome devs allowed unsafe eval.
6978  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: January 19, 2013, 11:56:12 AM
But what I mean is, the outputs listed don't add up to the total (1 BTC vs 1.001 BTC). Or is that because the .001 btc is a fee (I thought fees were 0.005)?
You don't know that you can set bitcoin fees to anything you want? The fee depends on the coin dust-ness, freshness of inputs, tx size per KB.
6979  Economy / Gambling / Re: LibertyBets.com || New project of a Bitcoin Game on: January 19, 2013, 11:42:59 AM
Some friendly advice Smiley

1. Cool design. Should make it responsive too.

2. Seriously? Yet another dice game?  btcdice/royalbitcoins/nakabot/I lost count. Please do something original. And by original, I mean something like BTCKeno or that bitcoin RPS game, not another video poker or blackjack.

3. Why would a player want to contribute to the lottery pot if he's playing dice, and has no chance to win the pot?  Huh

Okay, actual advice now:

4. You shouldn't call "x2" when it's actually "x1.976". Instead, make it pay out two times, and just adjust the odds to 49.4% or something.

5. Have some sucker 97% / 80% / etc dice tiers. Why? Well, let's say you have 1.92 BTC and you want to buy that bitmit item for 2 BTC.

6. Most important one. DON'T ACCEPT 0 CONFIRM, 0 FEE TXes UNLESS ALL THE INPUTS ARE CONFIRMED. And the one TX per minute isn't well thought out, like what Stephen said.
6980  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoins to Charity on: January 19, 2013, 10:59:06 AM
This seems like a scam. If your intentions are purely good-I'm sorry no one has replied.  The thing is people work hard for BTC and wont donate them to some unknown charity. Do you know if 100% of funds go to the charity? Because by law, to be called a "charity" you only need to use the funds for some majority of "charitable causes".
People may donate if you give more info on the charity and if you talk about why it matters so much to you. Also, they would probably like a receipt of some kind. The best thing you could do: prove you made the donation you say you did.
Just FYI. I hope your motives are good and things work out.

Amani Children's Village
Jump to: navigation , search

The association Amani Children's Village organization builds and operates villages for orphans in Tanzania and promotes the education and training of children. Until now, the first is Amani Children's Village in Kilolo , near the town of Iringa . A second village in Kitwiru also near Iringa, is under construction. Amani Swahili language and means peace.

Founded in 2001, the Amani Children's Village organization has set itself the task to build villages for orphans in Tanzania and operate. Because of the HIV epidemic in Africa, there are more than one million AIDS orphans in Tanzania, which require comprehensive care, as the extended family and neighbors in many places not in a position to provide these orphans with basic necessities. In 2001, with the construction of the first houses in the village children in Kilolo in the Iringa region was begun in the southern highlands of Tanzania. Today, the Amani Children's Village Kilolo of six children worldwide and is now complete.

It sounds like an legitimate charity. HOWEVER, "Bitcoins anonymously donated to this organization: 29.31224931 BTC" isn't 30 BTC. I also think that other people probably donated too.
