701  Economy / Speculation / Re: fomoulation: the age of green dildos is upon us on: July 26, 2021, 03:14:01 PM
I can't get behind calling it dildos but I am happy that the market is going green already. Be careful to everyone who plans to buy right now because of FOMO.
702  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Go for Another All Time High This Year? on: July 26, 2021, 02:39:00 PM
We must be optimistic about the future of bitcoin, hopefully this boring bull market will end soon and of course our hope this year can reach at least $100k, I'm sure if the price of $100k can be reached then 2 years from now the price of btc can reach $500k
Even if we are optimistic, we have to be practical and realistic, 100k seems an alright ATH possibility for this year because bitcoin can increase in a buzzer beater fashion, just look at 2020, the pump happened about a halfway through December even though the price all throughout the year was stagnant.
703  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin may go bull soon on: July 26, 2021, 01:32:53 PM
I don't think that we are still in the bull market now. But I respect the people who are thinking that way. I think that we already have entered the bear market. The big dump and the movements of the price also prove that, in my opinion. But I hope to see Bitcoin price starting to rise again and reach a new ATH as soon as possible.
I have the same feeling too, it feels like this is a trap or a reversal of some kind so I don't think that it's good to do a big move in the market since people are hyping the market and we know that with the hype, it's possible that we will end up with a rug pull at the end.
704  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin a good investment in this pendamic situation? on: July 26, 2021, 12:57:25 PM
Generally, yes. But it depends on who the investors are. The result can be different among the investors. If you can do the right strategy in your Bitcoin investment, you can get a good result. Although many investors can gain big profits from their Bitcoins, it doesn't guarantee you to get the same result. Being a good investment or not should depend on many factors, including the strategy of the investors themselves.
That's correct, depends on the investors since the behavior of the investor is going to decide if they are going to be making money or not. Also, the guarantee of profits is what's baiting this newbie investors, they think that they will get money in their first try and then they are faced with big dips and dumps and now they're panicking and they don't know what to do and didn't expect that's what's going to happen.
705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: July 26, 2021, 10:35:29 AM
Should've recommended buying when the prices were still around 29k or 30k USD but right now, it feels like going in is much riskier since the price could drop suddenly resulting in loss and buying right now and then maybe profiting a bit in the increase but your friend ends up getting greedy and goes for a bit more time before selling it.
706  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon will accept Bitcoin payment this year on: July 26, 2021, 09:39:22 AM
I hope that the option of Bitcoin payment will be available for purchases on Amazon from any country. Hope it wont be like with PayPal, when you can buy Bitcoin only if you are in US. But, I think that it will be like that. Or such option will be available only for limited countries. (Same refers to buying Tesla).
Great news from Amazon, but more detailed information is needed. Because right now it partly looks like a clickbait, as all this info is from insider.
Now that you've mentioned it, I hope that Amazon will be available in my country because I spend too much in third party freights to deliver it to my country, what's the point of being global if it doesn't reach me right? I hope that it's not a clickbait because I feel like we only get a sneak peek of things.
707  Economy / Economics / Re: New Jersey Pension Invested $7M in Bitcoin Mining on: July 26, 2021, 08:51:39 AM
I wouldn't call it a wise move since there have been a decline in prices of cryptocurrencies since the banning of mining farms in China recently. I could only guess that maybe their hardware are used, came from the closed facilities in China and they're grabbing the opportunity of a lifetime getting those machines at a very low price. Still even there are a widely banning issues around the some part of the world the New Jersey folks have guts to invest in. Well some others says it's wise to buy the dip and that includes in the prices of GPU also and other mining hardware. I salute them for being positive thinkers as I couldn't manage to do that.
If we look at it long-term, we will be able to see that it won't matter because mining bitcoins can just migrate to another country, it's not like China is the only place you can do mining. Plus it's a pension fund, it's not like they're going to take it out in 1 year let alone 10 years, I think that it will be profitable in the long-term no matter what happens.
708  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Another new phase of Convid-19 due to unvaccinated people on: July 26, 2021, 08:16:00 AM
The problem here is that the government made the pandemic a political tool to bolster their power and influence which resulted with the public facing the consequences, not to mention the current vaccine inequity is making the pandemic much worse since vaccines aren't distributed equally among affected nations which only cultivates new variants and make us go back to square one.
709  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon's future plans on: July 26, 2021, 07:09:26 AM
If they really do plan, I do hope that it's not a discriminatory for them to sell their products much more expensive compared to just fiat also, have they released some sort of roadmap already regarding their plans of integrating cryptocurrency in their platform because people will be expecting something from them and I think it's fair that they will give them a timeline to sort of give hope and hype for their integration.
710  Economy / Economics / Re: The Winklevoss twins worth $3bn Each for buying Bitcoin @ $8 with confidence on: July 26, 2021, 06:27:15 AM
They really has huge balls, in 2011 many people including me will find it hard to see how bitcoin could grow this much, you know it's like they know that bitcoin will be such a big thing in the future and that's right
I guess the saying that said only risk taker can grow their money is true, it's also the reason why i'm holding hard all of my coins, I couldn't imagine being the next winklevoss
but I could imagine to have better financial condition that i'm currently in and I will try to repeat the same feat that they have experienced if I can.
That's because we don't have the same background as the twins, I mean how can they get that amount of money if they don't have a safety net in place, they are rich in the first place so they can afford to buy that amount of bitcoin without batting an eye, us common people and the twins are completely different, that's why you have doubts in the early days of bitcoin, you value money and you want to prevent any loss as much as possible like any other people that doesn't have a rich background.
711  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoin is enough? on: July 25, 2021, 10:01:14 AM
If we were to assume that bitcoin will go up to 100k and will stabilize at that point, I think that about 30 bitcoin is enough for me to live up towards my death and even leave money for possible heirs and the heir will definitely get a hefty sum when it happens.
712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Third time is the charm, shorters failed yet another time on: July 25, 2021, 09:23:19 AM
We will probably see another of this shorters commit suicide because they shorted the price at the wrong time. I just hope that anyone can profit out of all the situation in the prices. Also, the shorters probably didn't have in their calculations added that Elon and Dorsey's talks would make a good effect to the market.
713  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go down below $20,000. on: July 25, 2021, 08:38:05 AM
There's no definite answer to this but I personally don't think that it will go under 20k this time because I feel like the increase of institutional investors in recent years made the price floor much higher and I don't think that these institutional investors are going away anytime soon to lower the price floor.
714  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's not the end, $60k again on: July 25, 2021, 07:49:37 AM
It's still not the end of anything. The market is just having a bad period. It seems to be starting to recover now though. I've really missed to see the market as green. It's hard to predict whether this rise will continue for Bitcoin price. This means that the rest of the coins will also continue to rise. I wouldn't say no to a new ATH in Bitcoin price. But as I said, it's early to talk about things like this.
You're right, people always saying it's the end or it's not yet the end as if there's going to be an end in this market, and even if there's one, I don't think that we will be seeing that end in about a half century or even a century. I hope that this isn't the biggest rise yet because I feel like this is just a temporary increase in the prices and I feel like we need to be cautious in treading the market because a lot of people have fallen for this kind of trap of thinking that the prices will continue to rise and them ending with losses because the prices slumped down again after a brief rise.
715  Economy / Speculation / Re: TESLA will re-accept bitcoin & SpaceX owns BTC, said Elon Musk. Ready for pump ? on: July 25, 2021, 07:13:01 AM
~

The signs are here but we need to be careful on buying when price starts to goes up, it could be temporary for now since the news about Tesla would be in hype. Just accumulate by percentage not the entire capital you got, just set by average when your purchase for additional holdings. Earning profit at huge quantities should be according to our projections, and if ever there's a huge spikes then you're luckily earning higher compared from your expectations.
In early stages of the prices going up, I think that it's acceptable to buy a lot even though it's uncertain that the prices will go up because as I have said, it's an early rise and if the prices did rise, you will be able to profit even if you bought at an increased price since you bought that bitcoin early.
716  Economy / Speculation / Re: TESLA will re-accept bitcoin & SpaceX owns BTC, said Elon Musk. Ready for pump ? on: July 24, 2021, 12:57:23 PM
I don't think that I would consider myself ready, I feel like I don't have enough bitcoin yet that I can sell when the next pump where to ever happen. Also, I don't think that we would see a big pump given how we are seeing Elon as an antagonist in this market with his past manipulation.
Have the same feeling too but maybe by the end of this month, I would be all good no matter which way it goes, if it goes up, big profit and if not, then I will be able to buy more bitcoin and earn more to get a much bigger profit.
717  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market is not good on: July 24, 2021, 12:16:41 PM
I have to say that the current atmosphere of the market is negative because I feel like the stagnation of the prices and some downs is what makes up the negativity. Even so, this is just temporary because there are better days to come.
That's normal and it's much better because I don't want to be on a market that is forever positive, in that kind of market you won't be able to make a lot of profit as you are uncertain as to how long the positivity in the market will last.
718  Economy / Economics / Re: On Cuba and economy on: July 24, 2021, 08:42:58 AM
The embargo won't be the reason for the Cuban protest because it has been long that was happening. I rather think that Cuba just like Libya and some African countries are facing authoritarian and dictatorship government , this is the problem. When a government becomes Lord not to listen to people or give them some freedom, you expect outburst from the public one day. A Communist that tend to control everything and makes more effort to control the air that you breath is Doom to fall someday because global civilization is sweeping through every continent and nation. So you expect unrest often from such system.
I agree with this one, it's the authoritarian government that is the problem but I also like to add that it's also the fault of the people for having that kind of government because they're the one that puts those people in place or they didn't resist when these corrupt government instilled themselves as leaders.
719  Economy / Economics / Re: ECB starts 24 month digital euro project. on: July 24, 2021, 08:07:07 AM
I don't know if it's about strength or is it more about staying in the game. With all the big financial powers going on the direction of CBDCs, EU had to do the same.
It's interesting that they take their time in analyzing fully all the possible implications. It means that they want to do it good (whatever that means from their point of view!) and it also means that while they signaled that they stay in the game, they don't want to be the first, they don't want unnecessary headaches, but if the others do it, they'll do it too.
I think it's a bit of both with more favor to staying in the game longer, I think that these people know that their current financial system is already flawed and archaic so they try and make sure that it survives and adapts because they know that it's the thing that keeps them in power.
720  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is key to the future of Twitter, Jack Dorsey says on: July 24, 2021, 07:31:34 AM
That's a lot of words being burdened to bitcoin in my opinion, because being a key to the future means that it has to do a lot of things besides what it can do right now. I think we have to be careful about believing what Dorsey's saying because we never know what's the end game for this man and I am betting it's vastly different to the majority of us.
