Do you oversell bandwidth?
Since he sells unlimited bandwidth and probably doesn't actually have unlimited bandwidth ... Of course, everyone oversells bandwidth. Well sort of, it is possible to sell unlimited bandwidth if you have enough capacity at a fixed rate to sustain it. In Australia you can get unlimited bandwidth but you'll be capped at a set speed. 1Mbit of bandwidth in Australia realistically costs ~200-300/month. It's unlimited but it isn't oversold (cause you can't do more than 1Mbit). Stu so it's limited to 1Mbit? 'unlimited' is an industry-wide lie.

Of course, I don't believe for a second that you didn't profit. You took a cut from the difference in "interest rates."
no actually, pirate took that cut. just like all the other funds.

It amuses me (but does not surprise me) to see that pass-through operators continue posting as if they weren't profiting wildly from the scheme -- as if they are also just victims with no responsibility. Paybtc, burt, goat, starfish, and many others aren't fooling anyone with half a brain.
i'd love to see actual evidence of my 'profits', then perhaps i could attempt to spend some of it in real life instead of just viewing it as a meaningless number on the BS&T website.

Why is everyone so goddamned happy about pointing out that they "told you so".... I don't mean to 'pick on you' gene, you are one of many many many people that are saying "if you read my posts....." and I just don't get it? What is the point?
It's a way to reduce the chances that we have to do this again, and again, and again. The goal is to learn the maximum from this incident that it is possible to learn. And the key thing to learn is that if something looks exactly like a Ponzi, it's almost certainly a Ponzi. the problem is, even if the size of this community remains constant, the participants are constantly changing. the people who are on this forum now may have learned their lesson, but this will be a different group of people to those who make up the forum a month / a year from now.

hi softwareseller and all... i will be able to get up-to-date with my PMs and sort out outstanding transfers tonight. that's in about 12 hours.
Great. But have you already handed over the withdraw address to the pirate? So even if you update the address now, it might be useless right? i haven't handed any extra information to pirate. he has my main BS&T withdrawal address just as he always had.

i thought the first input for maximum CPC was BTC-based, but then on the next page, it had a $ sign in front of it.

For every 10 bad ideas there is 1 good one
for every 10 enthusiastic people there is 1 with the perseverance to continue when expectations are not immediately met ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) and for those daunted by the thought of 'so much competition': your only real competition, are those with as much determination and persistence as you. the other 9 out of 10 'competitors' don't really count.

And I don't believe it for a second, but payb.tc has already been accused of running his own Ponzi with bitcoinmax. It draws attention away from Pirate. Goat's noble refusal to hand over personal info to Pirate has also earned him some flak.
If paybtc were running a ponzi I am sure pirate would have blown the lid. Right, but that didn't stop him from being accused, which was at least a little bit distracting. to be fair though, it was mainly zyk that was accusing me, and noone ever really knows for sure what he's saying.

What is your opinion, will profits justify? Right now the ad engine costs little to run, and profits are already more then that ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) my opinion? my opinion is that andrew's post should be preserved for future reference (and amusement). secondly, it's hard to imagine any bitcoin business (other than something like mtgox) having enough volume yet to justify even 8 servers.

|
Shall i again post in zykloogish what kind of change is needed,
zyk, how about posting a very detailed and lengthy post with all your hopes and dreams for bitcoinmax in your native language (this part is important). ...then others may have some hope of translating it themselves.

this is coming from the same person (albiet an alt account) that said vaginas are overrated.
don't know what to believe.

|
|
To clarify, I don't have a whole data-center but I do have 8 servers, its not hard to co-locate more if profits justify.
There won't be any. Trust me. Signed, #1 in BitcoinAdvertising.com ...

Then lets force him finally to change the criminal FIFO pay -out order to earn a legal claim on remaining coins,
i hope you're not talking about me... the 'fifo' pay out order is not going to apply to bitcoinmax unless BS&T pays out 100% of the coins owed... you can decide for yourself how likely that is.
