People who are interested or semi interested in the book but complain about the price are misers...they are too cheap to spend 5-6 Bitcoins. People who have no interest in the book are not misers, for they do not complain about the price. But then again--how I can argue with a person who is behind such stellar websites as these: http://payb.tc, http://thrucoin.com, http://btcmatrix.com/ref/paybtc, with such pathetic alexa numbers, coupled with awful interfaces? What a joke... keep the insults coming, they are really good for your sales figures... |

sorry couldn't find this answer anywhere... how does one get the 'minconf=0' balance of addresses that aren't in their wallet? it's easy to get the 'confirmed' balance using something like blockexplorer's api. but as far as i know, getreceivedbyaddress($address,0) only works on addresses that are in your own wallet. so, for eg. how does this page work? http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin/txlist/thanks. edit: okay so i found out blockexplorer's api allows you to add 'minconf' to the url, so one could theoretically use that, HOWEVER, i'm still interested in finding out how to do it more directly if possible, rather than rely on blockexplorer (or other 3rd party) which may not be always online. |

Yeah, I tried modifying some of the scripts myself. Considering I am just learning Perl, that was bound to lead to a bug. It should be fixed, mostly, now. Tell me if otherwise.

if wbx has to sell it's furniture to repay creditors... does he sell it for AUD or BTC?
this is why i say any capital, whether it's btc, aud, or furniture, should be liquidated and distributed proportionally.

I don't want to be holding these Bitcoins any more, but I do want them to go back to their rightful owners. This leaves me not knowing what to do for the best. Does anyone have any words of wisdom?
i have a comment: the burden of this disaster should not fall solely on those who's lost funds were denominated in AUD. i think any type of capital available to WBX should be distributed among all creditors, not just go to those who were lucky enough to have a BTC balance at the right moment. |

I lost a single bitcent because I lost the URL to an Instawallet I had.  38512.14284232 + 0.0138512.15284232 this doesn't count as 'lost' with respect to this thread. that bitcent would still be spendable by the owners of instawallet. |

However, I think many people have the wrong impression about money. There is no such thing as free--what you consider free cost some person or some business time, money, and intelligence to produce something and maintain something so others can benefit. Even open source programs need money. They need money to maintain and update information and products. This is why they are reliant on donations. It is folly to assume there is such a thing as free...it may be free for you to use but it is certainly not free to produce. usually when i see the phrase 'information wants to be free'... i assume 'free' refers to liberty, not pricing. |

Too big with too much white space. The same complaint I have with the Qt version, it can't resize
which part of this photoshop mock-up makes you say it's not intended to be resizable? it's easy for me to imagine the menu sticking to the left and the right hand part stretching to fit. |
