still have not gotten the hashfast email. I must assume this because I just emailed them recently about the MPP.
|
|
|
Well I didnt get that emailyet but I cant wait to.
Obvisually hashfast couldnt give a shit if miners make an ROI or not and clearly lied when they said we would get MPP after 90days starting from original delivery date. This I think is clear grouds for a lawsuit. They sent emails stating exactly that counting would start from the end of october for 90 days. I am sure a court would find that 5 months after the promised date when we get the MPP is not a reasonable time frame.

|
|
Id offer 0.07BTC
BTW, what is up with the random break in the hashrate on the chart?
|
|
|
For those of you curious I emailed Hashfast again about the MPP and this was their response,
In regards to MPP - other than knowing that for Batch 1 it will be the full 1.6TH, I am unable to release any more information of this for you. I do hope to get something out shortly.
We want to make sure we send out the best MPP possible for our clients. Once the shipments of MPP boards begin to ship we will let our customers aware of their shipping date.

I posted in this section as this section is where most of the pay for signature spaces are. Relating to paying for old posts, A few services used to pay for it and it makes perfect sense that you should. I have no problem giving a discount for older posts tho. So say 0.0005 per new post and 0.00025 for old posts or something. Feel free to make bids with such an offer. I have also reduced the price. It is now 0.0001 starting and 0.0001 increments. Have you tried bitxmixer.io or bitcoin-scratchticket.com ? They pay for your old posts and they pay weekly.
I am going to look into those 2 services.

Hello all, I am planning to sell my signature space. Currently it is for virtualminergame.com which was a site I used to own. Starting bid is 0.0001 per post and please bid in minimum of 0.0001 increments. Who ever has the highest bid for 3 consecutive days I will change my signature to it. You may also bid for separate per post rates for older and new posts.
please be aware that for the first month you will pay for all posts in that month plus all previous posts. You only pay for previous posts 1 time. I am charging you for previous posts as I find it perfectly fair that you pay for ever post that a user may see and click upon.

I had my friend, who is a board-certified surgeon, open up my abdomen cavity and place a ziplock bag with my paper wallet inside. It will remain there for 7 years before I must re-do the operation or spend the coins. Please don't find out who I am and cut my open in my sleep. ):
If your serious I think that was the most secure idea until you just said it. I hope you hid your IP. There may be people looking to cut you open.

In the MaidSafe cloud, a piece of the hash here, a piece of the hash there, and you with the only key(s) to connect them all. That is actully a very neat/good idea. Tho Im not aware of many/any programs using maidsafe currently. Is their a way to view programs that make use of it?

New version of cgminer - 4.1.0 - with dramatic stability and performance improvements for these devices, along with new features. This version will work with all older firmwares as well: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.msg5581480#msg5581480The cause of the regression in performance was found and this should outperform any previous cgminer releases. Wow huge improvement with 4.1.0 so far. Thank you. Id have to agree, I noticed my miner seems to be running more stable and around a constant speed +/-10ghash. It used to move 50 ghash.

Armory M of N backup of an offline created wallet stored in multiple different physical locations.
Added your option I would do something you haven't mentioned on these polls:
. Put the coins on a laptop
. Put the coins in an offline armoury wallet
. disconnect the laptop from the internet until you actually need to coins to spend
. If you're really paranoid, stick the laptop in a safe where no one can get at it
Why would I use a laptop? If you need to run off and you want to transfer your coins somewhere the laptop has everything you need and after that you just need to enable wi-fi again and can transfer the coins somewhere else, virtual servers and the like would only be safe depending on certain situations but for most people I think a laptop would be best another reason being that USB's would be far too easy to lose because of their size and you wouldn't notice if someone took it.
I can understand the idea of paper wallets but I think they're ridiculous, like fiat money they're easy to tear and you can set them on fire pretty easily, not something I would have a lot of money attached to.
Added an option offline wallet secured on a laptop in a safe with no connection
