Please do your own judgement on this and don't come crying for a tag if it's done.
Yes thank you ! I didn't know that thread on loan was already funded (closed) my bad. Tongue
Umm.. did someone give you a loan? Seriously?
7022  Economy / Lending / Re: 12 Month Loan from Tradefortress (For The Record) on: January 14, 2013, 05:07:44 AM
I have just received a $500 loan with an APR of 29% from TradeFortress.

Monthly repayments are $53.75 due on the 15th of each month - starting 15th Feb 2013 @ mtgox 24h average on the due date.
If I wish to repay early as discussed with TradeFortress I will pay $45.83 not $53.75 if I make an extra months payment (or more) in advance.

For all the trolls out there who seem to frequent my loan threads and say "another loan from Projects!" I have paid off more in the last week from current debts than this loan - I am tackling debts in order of interest and this is a big help since it is a good interest rate / flexible terms (for a non bank/cc loan). I have never defaulted on any loans on this forum (or anywhere else for that matter) and I have conducted a lot of business and never had one complaint. I am a businessman with a real business and pride myself with honesty and integrity. My loans are used to purchase inventory for my business and in turn once the profits come from my business I am agressively paying down debt.

So here we go -

15th Feb 2013 - $53.75
15th Mar 2013 - $53.75
15th Apr 2013 - $53.75
15th May 2013 - $53.75
15th Jun 2013 - $53.75
15th July 2013 - $53.75
15th Aug 2013 - $53.75
15th Sept 2013 - $53.75
15th Oct 2013 - $53.75
15th Nov 2013 - $53.75
15th Dec 2013 - $53.75
15th Jan 2014 - $53.75

Thank you for this TradeFortress it is much appreciated.

Confirmed, thanks!

UPDATES

* Payout table has been updated with decreased payout amounts (min bet is 0.01 BTC, max bet is 1 BTC, I'll update this later to allow larger bets)
* Bets can now be proven fair and details can be found on the about page along with a link to the code gist that is used. (This code will update at a later point in time to include a daily secret key, but for right now, it doesn't seem like I should require one)

If you have any questions/comments/suggestions, please feel free.

Thanks,
-Joshua

it doesn't seem like I should require one ??

7030  Economy / Speculation / Re: $30 / BTC by March on: January 13, 2013, 12:08:50 PM
Yes it is bullish, but that is not an argument as to why this projection couldn't happen. What Phatsphere said about the 2011 spike being an exceptional overshoot that lasted for a very short time I can agree with. Personally I think we do will revisit the previous high especially because BTC is prone to big moves to the upside and downside. Since I believe in the fundamentals of this new technology, and since we are establishing a very good support at $13-$14 I think it'll be to the upside. Considering this 7 month cycle we have seen since 2011 this could happen as soon as March. It then could go ballistic and overshoot but will probably correct.

Also don't forget we just saw a 500,000 USD investment in BitPay and Wordpress speaking up for Bitcoin in a very short time span. This will be something that will be happening more often. And as of today the total market cap of BTC is just $154 million which is next to nothing.

For those who are making references to drug use here, please deliberate further on why you find these ideas so ridiculous or just shut up.
Exactly, but if you can't see it's a good idea to sell BTC at around $30 then you're being significantly delusional.

Bitcoin is set to grow. What is unknown is what banks and gvoernments will do about it.
7031  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTCT.CO] ESECURITYSABTC : Around 1.3% weekly dividend since the start on: January 13, 2013, 11:56:20 AM
Neotrix, how do you justify paying about 70% per year interest on this loan? No matter how I look at it, you could get a loan elsewhere for cheaper than that.
The fact, that Koddos specializes in hosting and protecting HYIP makes me wonder if you somehow got inspired by your clients.

Again, what is your justification for paying so much interest?

And now accusation of managing hyip ? What next ?

About hyip it still 20% of our customers only, We still host casino online, many replica shop, many games servers.

Maybe I own a casino, or a replica shop? or also a sex cam ? It become pathetic...

all justification are in contract... and have been explained 50 times in forums... Now as said all this story make me thinking about take off this opportunity for investors and let you guys invest in mining asic bond....while asic are delayed for years ...( its an example and I target nobody with this one)

Please respond to PM. Thanks.
7032  Economy / Lending / Re: 35 BTC Loan Contract (ATC777 and BTCInvest) on: January 13, 2013, 10:09:21 AM
To BTCINVEST holders,

I have deemed this loan to be low risk because the borrower has significant reputation on other websites (gamedev, http://www.gamedev.net/user/174227-atc/), shown ID & proof of assets, had performed a few high valued trades on here and came off as someone who isn't a scammer in our conversations. I take a lot of behavior in account when I look for low risk loans, and I will be covering this 100% in case of a default.

In addition, I'll be paying the interest as dividends in advance so it matches up with the dividend schedule Smiley

Package the wallet service as a Chrome Extension. 25 BTC

All javascript and html must be included with the extension. May require modifications to how the wallet is stored to use localstorage rather than being embedded in the html page. https://github.com/blockchain/My-Wallet should contain all js needed.

Claimed, also I sent you a PM but do you want it as a popup or as a tab?

7038  Economy / Goods / Re: Zimbabwe Banknotes: You're a Trillionair! But in Zimabwe. on: January 13, 2013, 02:56:24 AM
I imagine most people know the story behind this. If you don't, type "Zimbabwe Banknotes" in a YouTube search.
People are actually selling things like Silver and Gold to buy these things. There is even talk about the US investing in Zimbabwe. Legally you must "Pay The Bearer". I just hope the country that takes control of Zimbabwe someday will honor these-because that WILL happen lol.

There is absolutely no chance that these notes will ever have any value beyond their collectible value. The only reason that people buy them is for the novelty of having real currency will absurd values.

They are fun to show friends, especially the 100 trillion dollar notes! People who believe that there is no way that the dollar could ever become worthless might think twice after seeing these. The U.S. has already started down this road with talk of a 1 trillion dollar coin.

1 trillion coin is actually GOOD - it means that the Govt won't need to pay the feds interest.

1. Download BTCAddress software located at https://casascius.com/btcaddress.zip and run it.

2. Select "Intermediate Generator" from menu "Tools".

https://i.imgur.com/Lgik2.png

3. Type desired password in the upper field and press button "Encode passphrase".

https://i.imgur.com/PlkAA.png

4. After few seconds, intermediate password code will appear in the lower field.

https://i.imgur.com/IPmCD.png

5. Copy provided intermediate password code and paste it in the field "Notes" located at the bottom of https://www.casascius.com page.

https://i.imgur.com/nNhrX.png

6. Fill the rest of the form and press button "Get Address". You will be provided with conformation code, that you can - and should - use to
check that the Bitcoin address you'll be funding is one that is actually restricted by your password and that you have the correct password.
To check both cases, run BTCAddress software and select "Conformation Code Validator" from menu "Tools".

https://i.imgur.com/5XXt6.png

7. Type password you used in step 3. in the upper field, paste conformation code in the lower field and then press button "Confirm".

https://i.imgur.com/XqYkD.png

8. If both password and conformation code are correct, you will be provided with Bitcoin address that will be funded with bitcoins. At that point,
you should go to blockchain.info or similar site and check if Bitcoin address is in use already!

~~~~~
9. To redeem bitcoins, run BTCAddress software and select "Address Utility" from menu "Tools".
https://i.imgur.com/zeAcU.png
10. Type embedded private key located on Casascius product and password you used in step 3. in appropriate fields and then press double-down
arrows button.
https://i.imgur.com/qqyOi.png
11. The decrypted hex private key will appear in the field "Private Key (Hex)". You must import it into wallet you want to be funded with bitcoins.
~~~~~

Note:

Don't do it unless someone confirms procedure is complete and actualy works. I never ordered anything from Casascius, nor I redeemed any of
his products, nor BTCAddress software actualy works for me in step 10. - it crashes badly! Grin
You should put this on the bitcoin wiki!
7040  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] BITINVEST - Transparent low risk investment bond on: January 13, 2013, 02:23:35 AM
it seems like there are two factors investors would consider before investing in your fund:
1. how much they trust you not to run away with the coins
2. how much they believe in your ability as a fund manager

i'm not worried about 2, you'll be at least as good or better than i could, plus i don't have to put in the work.
however, there's no getting around 1. even with our conversations over PM, there is still a non-trivial probability that this is an elaborate scam. i don't consider it likely, but the risk is still there and it stops me from investing too much in this low-risk fund, when really a low-risk fund is a great idea for the coins i have sitting around.
you said you'll keep a wallet with coins that match the value of the fund. what do you think about keeping these coins in escrow with another, more trusted member of the community? i'm new here so i don't know who to trust, but i assume there must be someone everyone can agree on.

just a thought, keep up the good work.

Hi, thanks for your support. If there was a way for me to prove that I'm not here to scam, then I'd have done it already Cheesy

Currently, my BTC reserve is above what people have put into this fund, but that won't be the case when this grows. I think john (johnthedong) would be trusted by practically everyone and might be willing to escrow/hold my current funds without charging fees - thoughts? This has the downside of me unable to use my own funds to buyback shares on request, when it is tied up in investments.

BTCINVEST is currently making 14.49% a year in providing credits for margin trading on the Bitfinex platform.

Like 1% a month? You're so far under MPBOR it's sad.

What happens to your bond if the unauthorized Bitcoinica clone pulls a Bitcoinica on everyone?
What happens? I'll pay the coins myself to keep NAV of this bond at 0.1 BTC.

What happens when MPOE doesn't make a profit for a month making 0% interest?

This bond isn't solely for Bitfinex - right now only few bonds are issued so it makes no sense to start diversifying at this stage when I can cover it 100% with my coins

So what's the incentive for early investors?

Right now they can either:

a) Invest with you.  You then deposit in BitFinex and they get 90% of profits.
b) Invest with BitFinex.  They get 100% of profits and no exposure to risk of you taking their money.  Then they can invest with you later when you diversify if they choose.

Not seeing how a) offers any advantage over b).

The above shouldn't be taken as a recommendation by me to do b) nor as indicating that I believe a) and b) are the only options available to potential investors.

First of all, this isn't soley a Bitfinex passthrough. Initially, 100% of the funds were in Bitfinex, but that's because it's not worth it to diversify a couple of BTCs. Investing in Bitfinex isn't as simple as depositing the coins in. I frequently F5 Bitfinex to check the status of my offers, to see if it is the best interest rate, etc. I believe unclescrooge offers free account management for accounts > 200 BTC, so if you want to put it 100% in bitfinex and take all of the profits then I suggest sending a PM to him and creating a managed account.

In addition, if Bitfinex runs away tomorrow, I can back 100% of the bonds. My plan is to not invest in one program more than my reserve, so that if one collapses, I curse at my computer and pays into the bond so the NAV is 0.1, and buy some more BTC.

Obviously there is the risk of me running away with your coins. That is up to you to judge the risk. I should note that my identity isn't anonymous, if you put into the effort you'll be able to find my domain, whois it and get my address in Sydney.

--

Reports will be published every time a dividend is issued. I don't plan on producing reports outside of that schedule, other than urgent updates, for the reason of "you used to post reports every week, this week you haven't, scam!" and that investing in new ventures (to me) isn't as simple as just transferring coins and praying. Initially I was considering which platform to put BITINVEST, and after a pretty long chat with Ukto on IRC I'm confident that this exchange is one of the best choices (along with mpex if you disregard the PR).

One thing that I will say is that the first dividends looks pretty good Smiley
