721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a good place to start a discussion about a token proposal? on: October 20, 2019, 03:00:21 AM
thanks for the super quick reply. so I will start a new thread in this forum once I have gathered all my questions.
I would appreciate as well if anyone has suggestions for any other communities where I could simultaneously have a discussion.

well as far as BTC, altcoins and cryptocurrency in general you wont find a bigger forum then here Smiley
theres telegram groups  for crypto ive seen but their all so scattered, same with discord groups
just check out the different boards, im sure you will find all sorts of mini communities here
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Litecoin dips really low in price, I am buying a LOT! on: October 20, 2019, 01:57:34 AM
Over the years, Litecoin has been reliable for surging when BTC price pops.  Last winter I bought 15 LTC at $30 each, along with many other alt coins.  However, I foolishly didn't sell it at $140 a few months later and the price has retreated.

So I'll be ready for the next price cycle.  Buy low sell high!  When I feel the price has bottomed, I will buy hundreds of LTC.

I didn't sell my LTC for $140 in June because I thought BTC was beginning its next huge price swing, and it didn't last.  Like me in my wife, it shot its load too soon.   Shocked

ya litecoin is kinda like doge in that sense, usually has a good pump once a year or so
i dont think it has in a while so it might be due!
LTC could have been as big as BTC price wise if it had a slightly different inception, its a great coin
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]-[BitcoinInvest] (BTV) MN/PoS coin - Simplified mining for the people on: October 19, 2019, 11:57:10 PM
so theres nothing here but a coin that wants to raise money for development?
if u have dev skills theres SO many projects that could use the help, no reason to start your own coin.

"crypto index fund" ya right, i bet you wish a buncha people would just give u their money to invest for them
you are a Anon random and its untraceable currency spendable damn near anywhere in the world  Grin
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅[ANN] [POS+MN] ✅Fastway coin✅ - Secure Transfers Are Our Standart!✅ on: October 19, 2019, 09:59:47 PM
you should consider POSSIBLY another algo for the mining as this one goes on
i would totally mine this, but im a home miner, all i have mainly is GPUs
and Quark algo is for ASICs Sad
Suppose i could rent some hash, hmmm...
also, the thread title says " Secure transfers are our Standart" <<---  "Standard" no? small spelling error
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Libertad Venezolana LVEN - Cryptocurrency designed for the people of Venezuela on: October 19, 2019, 09:12:56 PM
Guys, according to your explorer it's 22346 block now, but reward is 5 coins, not 50,000. The parameters of your coin do not match the description. You also published the stream on September 14, and mining began on September 5. It's not credible.

Thanks for telling I will pass this information to the devs, I've also edited the ANN.
I'm not owner of this coins, I was paid to create and publish the announcement on Bitcointalk.

its a shame its quark, thats an ASIC algo
you would think a coin like this for the "people" would be GPU mine-able Tongue
oh well, crypto probably could be an answer for Venezula, but im sure its not thru this coin Tongue
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Owner of Burj Khalifa,Dubai Mall, launching token on JPMorgan’s blockchain on: October 19, 2019, 06:56:43 PM
i remember they declared BTC halal there last year or w.e so i guess it makes sense these guys would get in
theres alot of big news happening lately, 2020 1/2ing could be yuge bois
i just hope that since its on JPMorgan's chain it wont be fully private and unlisted like most of their shit : /

interesting times for BTC!
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My speculation for 2020 on: October 19, 2019, 06:14:16 PM
Shocked  that speculation... seems logical actually
it kinda feels like coinbase has made some deals to create some market rises here, maybe they aquired some of these tokens as part of listing
in my experience EVERYTHING listed on coinbase pumps atleast ONCE
so it would be good to keep an eye on those projects for sure yupp
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Investment & Trading 📌📌📌 Bullion Caste 📌📌📌 on: October 19, 2019, 05:44:44 PM
sooo.... its a HYIP Cheesy
you always know by the UK business license Tongue
ya no thanks man, HYIPs around here are well know to just be ponzis that disappear as soon as they cant sustain
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 [ANN] [ICO] SECURED GOLD COIN [SGC] [READY TO LISTED ON THE EXCHANGES] 🔥 on: October 19, 2019, 05:24:52 PM
idk about this one on binance man haha
its ANOTHER physical gold back token, man seen so many of these, this ones minable? THAT should help with a gold peg.. lol
will this even survive one year?
ill believe this on binance when i see it Tongue imo just another scamtoken till proven otherwise
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TETHER (USDT) on ERC20 on: October 19, 2019, 04:56:48 PM
that, seems really crazy  Shocked , i never knew anything about that, thx for the links man
will this allow MORE transparency? or LESS? thats MY big question
i dont generally trust USDT, its always seemed like they just print their coins as they see fit : /

731  Other / Meta / Re: Is "Merit" and "ranking" -a special gold and silver meant few on BTT? on: October 19, 2019, 04:33:54 PM
I have been up and running lately on Bitcointalk cos of the much like i have for it, even mere the name is a turn on for me. After skimming through the community rules, I couldn't assimilate a part that deals with "the merit and ranking". So, I thought asking on here would give me the perfect answer i seek.

More so, I see often, some newbies having good amount of merits and wondered how they got it even while my activity is more than theirs. I am here to ask if anyone can please open my eyes to what i need to do to earn some merits or something I just need to lodge some cryptos and have my account overflown with it?

haha been a while since i seen a "how do i earn this here merit?" thread, Welcome newbie Smiley
Merit ya is just a forum thing, honestly i wouldn't even worry about it
it's just something that you will just randomly acquire as you meaningfully contribute to conversations here Smiley
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Qredit | by Hodler Enterprises | The Enhanced Blockchain Suite on: October 19, 2019, 04:22:20 PM
man that OP looks really nice, i missed this one when it launched
i see it says DPoS, who runs the centralized nodes then?
i might have to check this one out...
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitMovio - GAMIFIED VIDEO ENTERTAINMENT PLATFORM on: October 19, 2019, 03:22:50 PM
theres so many already established blockchain video platforms, how are you any different?
how will you compare to projects that have had years of development like LBRY?
you have some big names logos in your graphic, are you legally allowed to use DISNEYS logo? :O
that seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen unless you already have a partnership.... which you 99% chance dont as Disney has publicly spoken about wanting to make their OWN video platform

734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will kickico -kickex exchange later be a good exchange ? on: October 19, 2019, 03:01:27 PM
that all SOUNDS really good, but seems like a wait and see thing to me
i wasen't an ICO investor in that project, seems to me a successful ICO with 20 million in fundraising should have been done a bit quicker tho haha Tongue
exchanges are a very competitive scene they will need to bring something NEW and innovative to the table to get people to switch from their established exchanges..
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: add-ex.io exchange - scam or legit? on: October 19, 2019, 02:44:09 PM
has anyone used this exchange before?  scam or legit?

dude haha... i wouldn't trust that site with your money is there one good reason?
do they have a coin you wanna trade specifically that nowhere else has or something?
dont risk it man, use established exchanges, that place has only been open like a month, theres not even a twitter account or BCT thread announcing it  Shocked
sketchy!
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Namecoin & BitDNS on: October 19, 2019, 02:30:39 PM
I think all the coins are intrinsically useless because they are being used just for speculation at the moment and the true potential of the crypto hasn't been uncovered yet.

Namecoin is not only the first Bitcoin fork but also the answer for the greatest problems humanity facing today. In a few years you will see how Namecoin becomes the most valuable cryptocurrency regardless of the speculations by capitalists.

namecoin is definitally a good one, and i do agree with you, it got overshadowed by others trying to get in with their own things.
but, i think it allowed it, as useful as it is, its a very boring coin, in crypto people want exciting things, boring, strictly useful things get old quick Sad
Heres to namecoin rising again one day! Smiley
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Most effective way to prevent mining pools? on: October 19, 2019, 05:50:15 AM
The PoW mechanism used by major cryptocurrencies today, is known to become extremely centralized over time. This is attributed to the formation of mining pools which control most of the cryptocurrency's hashrate. If there was an efficient method to prevent this from happening, then PoW would've achieved a greater degree of decentralization over time. I've seen solutions like BetterHash and even Magi's M7M algorithm, but they're not perfect.

Which is why, I'm starting to wonder what is the most effective way to prevent mining pools? This I want to know, since I'm deeply interested in launching a cryptocurrency that takes decentralization in mind. Any recommendations or suggestions will be highly appreciated.

what about spreadcoin?
been a while since i looked at that old coin, but w.e they do works
as it dosent have pools, solo only, for YEARS, so it must be possible
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: best pools for lyra2rev2 algoritm on: October 19, 2019, 05:32:03 AM
check out www.ahashpool.com
they been around a long time, and always pay. they pay only in autoexchange (BTC) tho
but their chinese and their customer service kinda sux so dont expect much there, just setup your miner and go Smiley
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: STEALTH coin clone, new genesis, custom money supply, premine on: October 19, 2019, 05:23:26 AM
is this a coin then? you should post it to the right board, cyka blyat...
ANNoucments (ALtcoins) is where we post new coins generally, might get more noticed there
or are you just selling some private sale mn shit? Tongue

You can move this thread by an option in the bottom left of your original post if need be Smiley

740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jamie Dimon On Libra: ‘A Neat Idea That Will Never Happen’ on: October 19, 2019, 05:18:29 AM
Damn, Jamie Dimon is a shittalker but i actually agree with him on this mostly
i was basically telling people the same thing, i think it was just facebook desperately trying to get some money in the ICO race before it imploded
they were like 2 years too late tho and are under too much scrutiny as they have been selling us out, so it got killed in the womb lol
fail
