741  Economy / Speculation / Re: Well guys. The rally is over. on: January 13, 2012, 10:44:34 PM
It's the shorts that happen in the near future that will power the next rally.

Its this that will make the next rally even bigger. This is ultimately why we climbed so fast in the first place. That and since everyone is yelling sell and crash that means it will go up. From my experience when everyone is on here with topics going RALLY RALLY RALLY we have a big drop right then.

so by all means... SELL SELL SELL
742  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's up with depth on clarkmoody's chart on: January 12, 2012, 06:11:49 AM
As to the missing orders: that was my fault. I got careless with the 32-bit integer thing on PHP, and it wasn't sending the full-sized orders from my server (I grab the book from MtGox with my server and send it to the client).

It would be awesome if you could program that into a secure downloadable bitcoin trading platform that integrates with MTGox API for those such as myself who cant be bothered to learn another type of programming. All you would have to do is integrate some buy sell orders with simple gui. I suggest this to you of course because you have the best chart website and if you could code this site you could easily code a nice trading platform.

You will be pleasantly surprised in the coming weeks  Wink

Stay tuned.

This is BIG NEWS! I will definitely be donating for that.

I still prefer your chart tool to any others Clark. It does occasionally bug up but im assuming thats because of issues from MTGox side for the msot part. Keep up the good work!

26

I am surprised at how many 30+ there are.

Wait I clicked the wrong group. Forgot my more/less than sense for a while. You should provide an option to change your vote.
745  Economy / Speculation / Re: 0.01 amount is the best trade on: January 11, 2012, 01:23:29 PM
I think the 0.123 is someone trying to initiate rallys and selloffs by pushing a bot to its action point hoping for a domino effect. It seems to be working too.
746  Economy / Speculation / Re: The rocket is secretly taking off. $8 price target within 18 hours on: January 11, 2012, 01:36:13 AM
I think this is pretty neat:

That is very interesting... In the bottom picture it would appear we are in the infant stages of a long term impulse rally. One can really draw the lines from the moving average quite easily.

Also interesting on the graph is if you look at the bubble on the way up there was a period identical to what we can see going on right now. Long term we are definitely bullish.
747  Economy / Speculation / Re: Well We're Moving On Up... on: January 11, 2012, 01:22:22 AM
Wall is down. Charge!

Well then I guess we better get ready for a rally. I wonder what caused that to happen.
748  Economy / Speculation / Re: Well We're Moving On Up... on: January 10, 2012, 11:21:04 PM
6.56 will also be a critical point on the way up. 2 x 1000BTC walls 1 penny apart are a lot of resistance to break through for such a small spread.
749  Economy / Speculation / Re: Well We're Moving On Up... on: January 10, 2012, 11:18:57 PM
If we can break through this 1000 coin wall we might start heading up rapidly to 7 and beyond. This is the point where we  test the strength of this slow grind up.
750  Economy / Speculation / Was the big spike a sign of the bull or bear? on: January 10, 2012, 07:14:02 AM
With that quick rally to 6.89 seemingly out of nowhere does this signal a reversal to the current bullish trend or is it a sign of further correction?

Personally I think it is a sign when I wake up tomorrow we will see $7 bitcoin again.
751  Economy / Speculation / Re: How deep you are ready to go? on: January 10, 2012, 04:41:29 AM

The BTC price is very resilient this time around, you cannot crash this mother.

Some corrections and adjustments are inevitable, but the drive is ever upward and onward. You can see it in the 2 month hourly chart.

When the correction shakes out, if it hasn't already, we will be poised and ready for our run past $7.20 and on to $8.00.

+1

Once we get going again 7.20 will be no resistance. It will probably be passed in less than 5 seconds if the previous rally is any indicator.
752  Economy / Speculation / Re: RSI gone from "overbought" zone on: January 10, 2012, 01:55:35 AM
Since we didnt hit 6.45 we could be headed below 6.10 in the next short term drop.

Guess I was right even though I wish I wasnt. Lets rally back up everyone!

I also took in elliot wave theory for the first time today and I was just about to say it looks like we are at the final wave of an impulse action and as I type this we hit 6.40 again. Heres hoping this takes us back up to 7. I am not claiming to be an expert but would be interesting if this could help me predict market moves.

[Edit]
We have to hit 6.45 for it to become an upwards impulse.

All of this at a level below what is visible on the graph. At the level of this graph it looks like we still might have some correcting to do but I hope I am wrong.
755  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Technical Analysis & other financial markets (bitcoinbullbear.com) on: January 09, 2012, 11:53:54 PM

Thanks for the info I was just about to look up elliot waves to see what everyone else was talking about. I am on the first article so far and it looks to me like we are at C on the simple correction wave.
756  Economy / Speculation / Re: mtgoxdead on: January 09, 2012, 01:30:08 AM
I think the bots are going to all be back online now and we should see movement sooner rather than later. Of course Im just speculating lol
757  Economy / Speculation / Re: mtgoxdead on: January 09, 2012, 01:24:20 AM
Fixed...For now!

Nice to see it working again. It looks like the rocket has been refueled and we will be going up to $8 tonight. I am questioning my hedge now.

759  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Daily Speculation Poll] :: Bitcoin vs Dollars on: January 08, 2012, 10:54:40 PM
Rather bullish sentiment from the poll. I would say that appears to be a good thing going forward.

IMO i think there should be an option for a 50/50 hedge.
760  Economy / Speculation / Re: The rocket is secretly taking off. $8 price target within 18 hours on: January 08, 2012, 08:13:20 PM
I was watching the X-Files pilot yesterday and David Duchovney's hair looked exactly like georgios. If you don't believe me go look it up but I don't think its a coincidence. Either that or the show gets him to do it to make him look that much crazier.
