761  Other / Politics & Society / Re: American Dentist Pays $50G's, Kills Cecil The Lion on: July 30, 2015, 11:16:56 PM
He has a history of breaking the law and then paying people off. A few years ago he killed a bear where he wasn't supposed to and then dragged the body to an area that was deemed acceptable but was caught and fined. Also in 2009 he was accused of sexually assaulting his receptionist and paid her 120k to drop suit.

As for the lion, there are certain permits that allow hunting of lions but those are lions that are outsiders of groups and likely to be killed or are going to die soon anyway. Cecil was a leader of a pack and as a result the 9 cubs of the pack will most likely be killed by another group leader since Cecil is no longer around to protect them.

Wilkon is the most ignorant, close-minded troll I've ever seen on a forum board.  Cheesy Cheesy

But his saltiness about this deal tastes so fucking good!!!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Weird tournament all the way through. So much controversy. Then Mexico rolls over Jamaica?  Undecided

Not a good tourney at all

Yup some of the results are weird like Mexico winning the quarterfinal and semifinal with bad referee decisions AET, but well, at least we don't have to see another controversial penalty in the final lol.

The fixing didn't even make sense. I thought they would fix for at least a US/Mexico final so that ratings would be much higher. Instead Jamaica runs US out of the building, Mexico beats Panama and Costa Rica on 90th minute penalties, and then setup a final that know one cares about but all of a sudden Mexico comes alive?

I dunno the importance of the Gold Cup for Mexico but I hope they are glad to have won it after all this.

Mexico game seems like it is going to be very low scoring but they should win. I don't see how US can lose to Jamaica right now. The US has looked really good so far
769  Economy / Gambling / Re: CONCACAF Gold Cup discussion on: July 22, 2015, 06:54:26 AM
Mexico is lucky because the semifilan is whit Panama, i think win, but Panama score a first goal (or another 0-0)
Check history of this Tournament if Mexico going 0 - 0 then in next match going with many goals I am expecting this match is going over 2.5
i think 1.5 is better i feel it will be 2-0
Mexico for sure, I will place parlay bet on USA and mexico.
In the grand final USA will be the winner.
that is a easy bet :p
dunno why but I don't think USA can easy win against Jamica,
maybe need to go to extra time / Penalty

Why would you think that Jamaica could go up against the US? US hands down better team
770  Economy / Gambling / Re: CONCACAF Gold Cup discussion on: July 21, 2015, 07:21:54 AM
The Mexico penalty was bullshit. It's obvious they want to setup a US/Mexico final.

US will win the tournament though

I see way too many posts from people (especially bit-x people)

yes, bit-x and coinomat are 2 major campaigns, paying for useless plague here. I tried to report several times to their sig. managers, but they don't even reply..?!

they both accepting everybody, their signature managers are somehow overloaded and not so active at all (except posting, that they accepted new members) and because of automated checks by bots, they don't even care about quality of posts. (reason is simple: both quality and useless posts had same size and visibility, so why care so much, right..?)

"product" of this unlimited madness is user called Amph (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=99297) and I encourage everybody to check, how often and what he is actually posting and how this board may ends up...

enjoy

oh yeah here we go again, tells me what bothers you about my post? it's the number of posts...., you know that numbers of posts != spam right?

what if someone can "spam" constructive post all day? here there is a big problem with the definition of "constructive post" apparently

it seems that everything which has not a technical knowledges is not a constructive post...we are lucky that mod do not agree

Well, besides the fact that you've whored out your entire sig and avatar space to bit-x, every single one of your posts from just the first page of your reply's is quoting somebody else and making a general reference either in a question thread or far along in an already 60 page thread. There is no actual contribution. You are a pro thread fluffer. You could disappear and know one would know you are gone even with your 15.7k posts.
775  Other / Meta / Re: Just remove signatures already. As in delete, disable, gone. on: July 17, 2015, 12:30:08 AM
I disagree with the OP. Lots of good discussions going on everywhere. He just cant find them.

Thank you for your most valuable input.  Roll Eyes

I see way too many posts from people (especially bit-x people) that don't read any of the posts in the thread and post something indirectly related to OP's post to seem like they are engaging. Normally, they never return to topic.

I'm not saying disable signatures but more liberal use of bans wouldn't be bad idea either. That might discourage this type of "thread fluffing" spam.

Yes, the spam is annoying, but when you look at the bigger picture, signatures campaigns truly are good for the community. Now, call me biased because I personally am enrolled in a signature campaign, but the fact that there are programs out there that allow anyone to earn an honest amount of BTC just for participating in community discussion is great. Sure, it may lead to a bit of spam, but it's much easier to ignore the spam then ban the concept that is, in my opinion, one of the greatest goods in the community.

lol you took something you could say in one line and turned it into a paragraph by repeating yourself. *clap* enjoy your .001.

The reality is that signatures don't promote discussion. If you really want to talk about BTC, getting paid to talk about it won't make your comments more interesting or more pertinent to the discussion.

It's awesome to get money for sitting on your computer and posting on a forum but don't bullshit and say it enhances the community or is "one of the greatest goods in the community"  Roll Eyes Come on

Nice addition for the parlay jackpot. Some of us that don't parlay for 50 BTC now have a chance  Smiley

Also, I like the new, sleek signatures!

Your bias is glaring.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

How about showing someone close to the deal talking about it? Like the Secretary of Energy, Ernest Moniz

I don't even like Rachel Maddow, but your link is a joke.
779  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Iran nuclear deal: '99% of world agrees' says Obama on: July 16, 2015, 06:15:05 AM

So REAL Americans want another war and to fight Israel's battles....... Got it.

Get over it and stop using Israel as a decoy. Iran is as much against the US as Israel so wise up.

99% of the world want Iran stopped. To say they all like the deal is a lie on a par with "if you like your doctor you can keep him".

I know for sure the Persian Gulf states do not and are very nervous.

99% of the world? Or Israel, AIPAC supported members of Congress, and Saudi Arabia/allies?

The main goal of the deal is to stop Iran's ability to produce a nuclear weapon. Obama stated the majority of the international community agrees that Iran should have the ability to produce energy through peaceful nuclear means. The sanctions have served their purpose to this point and now the IAEA has access to key sites for inspection that were not available before. This deal has been proposed and supported by the Secretary of Energy, Dr. Ernest Moniz, who is a professor of Physics and Engineering Systems at MIT. He explicitly stated and is confident in the ability of the IAEA to be able to detect any evidence of nuclear weapon development.

This is the best diplomatic solution and anyone claiming otherwise hasn't presented anything besides tired talking points.
