I've been mulling over this for quite some time, and I feel it's time to dive into one of the most profound topics in the crypto world: Centralization vs. Decentralization. I've noticed this duality splits the community and I wonder, is there a balance to strike?
Centralization:
Pros: Potential for faster transaction throughput, a focal point of control and regulation, easier to implement changes and updates.
Cons: Risk of a single point of failure, susceptibility to censorship, a tendency towards monopolization.
You forgot to include potential hack, threat to privacy, possible lost of funds. You didn't look into FTX before you write out the cons of centralization. I don't understand what you mean by throughput, what is exactly is centralized maximizing in a centralized system except for database and optimizations which comes with at the expense of KYC, you can't use their service if you are not verified, is there anything special about that? I'm even trying to picture one good advantage of centralization but the thought of centralized exchanges will not make me see much benefits but demerits of using them. Centralizations always put their ambition before the people. Decentralization:
Pros: Censorship resistance, enhanced security through distribution, inheriting the initial spirit of Bitcoin and the idea of autonomy.
Cons: Potentially reduced scalability, decision-making difficulties, possibility of fragmentation and disparities.
It's clear both come with their merits and demerits. But, do we need to acknowledge that both can coexist? Are there situations where centralization could be beneficial? Can there be a balance?

Without decentralization, centralization will die quickly but decentralization will remain functional until it last breath of the people that protects it's ecosystem, the reason why we have centralization today is because of decentralization, Dex can survive with Cex but if table were to turn around, the latter will not make it. So Dex win and I don't think decentralization are even forcing balance, no need for that unless cex's are trying hard. |

We have all seen the word GambleFi trending on all sorts social medias. Being a veteran that frequents all the casinos in Vegas, I was even curious enough to play a few rounds. GameFi is nothing new to crypto, they all came when altcoins were walking under the shadow of DeFi and guess what, many of them are buried under 6 feet, they were short term investment vehicle that only lasted when they were hot, if you see any of them trending, that's probably because of there is one of them that is trending or perhaps people are pumping to make money, social media is one of the ways this projects are spread but just to comfirm them, coinmarketcap and coingecko is going to do justice to clear doubt about gamefi projects. Most of the new projects that are even focus on gamefi don't really invest in casino games and that makes me ask why the casinos we have in the Forum all see this trend but they never for once make a move about it, it's probably because they are making it in the business without any hype while they make real money without noise to convince anyone, the right people will come with good marketing. In papers, gamefi make a lot of sense, but in real sense, they may not work like that. Maybe this is just another phase of Real estate tokenizations we had back then during the time ICO, they are all buried and people hardly discuss about it, maybe this is another phase people might soon forget. |

We know the oil market is booming and countries with oil resources are really making a huge fund out of it and sometimes they do it at the negligence of another local natural resource.
But, of course, the agricultural sector, though not given the proper recognition and the required investment is one sector that contributes seriously to the development and dependence of most nations .
No!, that's not entirely accurate as you describe. Oil is given first class priority onlyby the countries that have this resources, they are blessed Hy nature and since oil is an catalyst that boom their economy, they don't joke with it, in addition they are in abundant which means they make more revenue from it and hence the reason why such counties don't prioritize agriculture. Use Qatar for example, they are oily rich country that grow littlenon agriculture. Other countries on the other hand that are not oil dependents don't have choice but to concentrate on other sectors like Technology and agriculture, use China as example, they don't have oil but that has not stop their economy from been the leadership in the world, they still dominate this world with wealth despite not been not oil country and they are blessed with medicines too, other countries patronize them also and they make mad money from these alternatives. No matter how blessed a country is with oil minerals, if its agricultural sector isn't working and she has to rely on other country for her food and agricultural resources then in event of war or political differences they might suffer.
Agriculture vs oil, which is the big deal when it comes to the economic strength of a country?
Whether you want Agricultural or Oil, it's depend on the country that has the oil, Countries that are blessed with abundant oil reserve and gas reserve might focus on Oil production than Agricultural and countries that don't have oil will focus on Agriculture to enhance their economy. |

We had this argument where I was the opinion that most men spend money on things that they are obligated to and cannot control it at times due to responsibilities, men are used to spending money already and because of being used to it, they can find it hard to be as economical as women can be. Do you agree with this unpopular opinion that women are more economical when it comes to money and are able to manage themselves and their homes better than men do?
You miss one thing before you started the discussions. You should have said intelligent and intellectual women and not some hungry hoe that are looking for a rich man that will remove them from poverty so they can live the expensive imaginary life they have always pray to have. Society has made women dependent, while the man go out and look for the money and with this because the pain we go through to make the money, we are better economical person than the ladies, only few of them that work spend their money wisely, they are known to live large except for the few of them. I think economical is something that has to do with tolerance, upbringing, exposure and,descipline. If you are the type.of person that live an extravagant and flamboyant life without an atom of descipline, been economical type of person is far ahead of you, without it you will live life of discontent, nothing you will do that will work out that involves money whether you are man and woman, not about gender but individual. |

I spoke to a tutor who teaches trading, and he said for his lectures, he teaches for an extended period of nine months for anyone who wants to learn trading from him. Please I like to read the personal experience of some traders here, how long did it take you to learn to trade profitably, and what was the hardest thing to learn? did it take you weeks, months or years? Do you think that trading can be learnt well in a short time like three weeks for a quick trader? Can someone who is a proffesional trader just go straight to the point pointing out what is needed to make a successful trader to a newbie to learn quickly?
There is measure to how people understood learning a new thing, some trainees understand everything in all the stages, from beginning to the middle and the end, some find it hard in the early stage but towards the middle and the end, they understand better; some people might not understand anything until the toward the end and there are even some that might not get it in the training until they repeat it on their own, so I think there is a reason why your tutor said 9 months. The syllabus might also be broad too. For trading, I don't think you will understand everything you learn from trading while learning, just as I said earlier, there are some experience that will not come when you are learning trading, they come during your personal trading journey, there are even some trading secret he has experience but wouldn't want to share it with you guys. So, just make sure you learn what is needed, from there you can learn to be own your own. |

Boom, the headline cut your attention right? That's perfect . There are lots of risks in business, investment and trading which is not new to anyone. They have become a common life phenomenal.
However, the worst risk in the world which I am here to advice everyone at this moment is that it is MOST RISKY not to take risk.

Riski doesn't entails only investment and trading. Life is full of chances, ups and down and if you don't want to remain down, you have to take risk in anything legit to succeed. Going to school today isn't a guarantee that you are going to have a job later in the future but we risk it and invest money on it, some along the line made it to the final year and graduate while some dropped out along the line with fund wasted. Even after the graduation,few are going to have their dream jobs while some will be jobless in the line of their career, I hope you see how the risk turned out. Well to be sincere with you, everyone who had taken risk and had come with a success story have one common line of story to tell us all that they have taken a calculated risk. Every investor, trader and the rest should learn to take a well calculated risk.
To know more and gain more experience requires taking some risk that will help you learn. As a trader, just reading without practicing what you have learnt which involve some level of risk does you no good than having an ordinary head knowledge.
Don't forget that risk is venturing into the uncertainty, so endeavor to keep it a calculated risk before diving into the final decision.
This is not just about trading, this is about anything connecting to human life. Let this words be taken beyond the four walls of trading to every aspect of human life and see the result thereafter. Most important message here is to take a calculated risk
There are so many obstacles in life that you have to make a step ahead if you don't want to be left behind, you can't do without risk, check out marriage for instance from statistics, how many divorcee do we have in our society, it's not working anymore for some people but does that mean you shouldn't try and find a happy home? So, I have USDT. But I don't want to register for centralization exchange where I must KYC to exchange USDT into my local Fiat. What can I do? how to exchange it?
Fiat is regulated by central banks, to get your hands on it the quickest way, you should be ready for KYC but alternative as others have suggested, make use of Bisq and HodlHodl but the rate conversation will be slightly lower than other centralized exchanges that patronize more customers. But if I may, there should be a dedicated local board for you where you can do this easily, there are fiat sellers and buyers here on the forum, that's should be fine but checki their reputation or if you must, get an escrow but that also comes with a charges. If KYC, I can exchange it on Binance or my local exchange where all have paired with USDT. But I won't it, because I don't want people to know my identity when withdraw it into my local bank.
I also seeing many people selling bank accounts on my local online shop, but of course, it's illegal, the seller might be taking it back to the account after I deposited the money.
this is very confusing me, I can exchange BTC to USDT without KYC and register using eXch exchange, but still confused to cash (USDT) into my local fiat and spending it.
These will land you in prison faster than than kyc you are trying to avoid. Don't buy a stolen bank account, even if the seller accept third party account, it's more like money laundering and the person in originally in charge of the account can report the destination of the money. You don't have to under go long process of converting from USDT, your BTC will converted in real time to fiat and that's what the seller is going to be sending for you. Just indicate your local board or language and go to the market board and create a thread that you want to exchange BTC to a fiat, there should be a person ready to come for your service. Well.. I hope that she learns from her mistake. These sort of issues arise when people who are new to gambling indulge in it, without learning about the rules and possible consequences. A lot of people start like this. Some of them are scarred with the initial experience and never venture again. Some others learn from their mistakes and become more responsible for their actions. And then there is the last category, who lose their mental balance and start chasing after the losses. And we all know which group will end up in big trouble.
Obviously, they know the risk behind gambling but greed will not let them be, they will make decisions that will hurt them and when it doesn't favour them, they manipulate people around them, greed people are insatiable with this habit. When they have money, they spend recklessly the way they want and when they notice that the money is going zero, they risk it to bet thinking the money can be double and if this don't happen, they cry victim. Almost everybody on earth knows what gambling is about and she knows exactly what she was going into, she is not a baby. if he knows gambling hurts him why should he follow it. not many people are ruined by gambling. he knows the limits in gambling. He should be an adult at that age and can think about that. but if it's like this, wouldn't it be a good idea to take him to a psychology doctor? I'm sure that can help him.

It's a tough one for Gunners and very much possible that City might be able to pull of a win here but Gunners have improved a lot and at this point they are the only one close opponent to City. Rest are not that consistent so I am really hoping for an Arsenal win here as this will change the title race exciting from the beginning. We need some change in our tactic a bit and suprise City with our performances and I hope Arteta has something special planned out for the game against City.

The fact is now that the player they brought in has not shown anything good, and even defeats come from mistakes he made. Onana may have done well at his previous club, but he hasn't managed to show that with Manchester United. I wonder if they now regret dumping David De Gea? Because the player who replaced him is now making a lot of mistakes.
The defense is a crucial point because if they make mistakes then the ball will go into their net, and that's what's happening right now. I think they should take Onana off for a few games and give their current backup goalkeeper a chance.
I'll say this a billion times, if it's not the blunder from Onana against Bayern Munich ( The exact poor shot taken by Sane Leroy ) then, whoever blames and lash out on Onana knows nothing about football period. In today's time we can't avoid children knowing this, because there are many influencers out there promoting it even though they know many children are watching it. It's widespread now in our country that influencers promote any adds about gambling
Whether it's the truth or the wrong info, kids will want to try out when your are not around the house, it's better you ignore them and change the topic of discussion, kids are getting smatter day by day. As far as today and civilization is concern, lying to your kids will do them more harm than good but I will pretend that I don't know about anything that has to do with sensitive content, will teach them about that when I think it's right. When your run from truth, that's the when they turn inquisitive of that and want to try that especially when gambling has advertisement of trying out service that are been air on those channels and I don't want to wake up and see my niece doing what I do at my adult age, no kids of mine yet.  Personally, when I have or if I'm in such situations of gambling ads, I will change the channels for the sake of my kids doing what I may not know about, satellite TV stations have restricted way of muting some channels and password them. Onana is good. But I see his arrogance when he moves to play for Manchester United. He was too subjective. Onana should know he is on a big team and must face many strong opponents. Subjectivity will lead to erroneous results.
De Gea is a goalkeeper who has played for Manchester United for 12 consecutive years. He played very well and was voted the best goalkeeper of the year. In the past 1 or 2 years, De Gea has not played as well as before. Erik ten Hag blamed him for his mistakes and boldly decided to get rid of him and bring back Onana. De Gea's mentality is more mature, and his playing quality is on par with Onana.

I agree to that as I also have that personal experienced way back, just enjoying playing dice and manage to double my initial bankroll, instead of calling for the day and quit with a decent amount of winnings I decided to push and try to win for more, thinking that luck is still on me and it will continue to keep that winning to roll for me, but when the losing streak starts to show up, aggressions change as well, trying to recover and making all those amounts from the initial bankroll, ending the session with empty money.
It's a wrong decision that leads you to lose instead of enjoying the opportunity to win, if you have that balance inside you, you'll be able to enjoy what you have and not the one that you still need to aim.

There is something more important to this win and that is the margin by which they won. Group F in the champions league is one of the hottest group that is difficult to even discuss about, what result that comes out, I will take it that all the teams in the group have tried all the best because having PSG, Newcastle, Milan, and Dortmund; betting this top four teams is like wasting money because all of them are all good and you don’t know the ones that will end up disappointing you, so I think it’s fair in any of the result that we see. |

We all know how people used to be protective when trying to explain how someone treated them badly, they always want to be the winner and if you are not smart you can fight the wrong war for them, later you will find out that they are the problem.
Gamblers are telling stories about how they got banned because they are winning too much, I will like to tell you not to believe everything people tell you, these stories typically have another side of the story, there is a high probability that these gamblers have broken some rules along the way.
For reputable casinos, banning players that have won a lot of money legally is bad for their business, the casinos knows that the word of the mouth spreads faster than anything, so I believe that a reputable casino do their strong research before they use their ban hammer.
Before you take sides with gamblers claiming they get banned for winning too much, remember that casinos are good at monitoring and preventing fraudulent behaviors, you break some rules you are out, and no cheater want to admit that they cheat.
It doesn't even make sense when gambler and the underlying platform fight for difference but of course, if there is money involved, evidence must be provided. However, don't understand why the forum casinos don't like to show evidence or proof of what happened, at least it will help the judges(DT in the Forum) to make decisions, if it was the user that is guilty or the casino but they don't provide anything and for that, to remain neutral, I better give my small opinion but wouldn't meddle with what I don't have power over. As a top tier casino that has used forum ads, they should know better that when in Rome, you have to act like you're in Rome. They should always provide evidence when it's needed and to avoid stories that touch, I don't like some of the casinos we have in this forum, I used the few I trust and hasn't been called out and even when they are called out, they are just minor issues which understanding term are reach to keep reputation for their customers. |

For much long now I have never place bet with a higher amount but there was a bet i placed few days ago and i was tempted to increase my wager from what it should be before, Let say i often gamble with at least 200 Naira and maximum is 2,000 for a multiple bets But recently something came into me to start increasing my wager above my limits due to a game that was predicts to me it gives me all possibilities that I could cash out big time. This now made me to come here to asked how do you control your greed with your bet amount, do you go ahead placing the bet as your minds speaks or do only maintain to your limits whether it plays or not doesn't matter.
Again why do you regret after putting smaller amounts and it happens the games went as planned and starts blaming yourself for not increasing your bet amount, maybe by now you could have cashed out big time. How do you control this thought over your ends do you keep to your regulations of always placing bets with some limits or you place bet according to your mind and regrets after losing that amount for not following your limits?

Well, what you mean by huge amount is subjective, amount that is so big to you might look lovely little to some people, because even that your amounts, if converted to dollar, that's equivalent to $20, it will not do much in some people eyes though, if you wager that amount correctly, you will make good outcome but how lucky will you get when you wager that amount, you might not get much. Gambling has greed, it takes courage not to fall for it, and the first thing you make sure to do is never deposit more than what you want to bet, your threshold should be concise for that particular game, so that when you lost a bets, it will be easy to conserve the remaining change for the next day but when by the time you want to make back the money, you will lose all in the process. In addition, make sure you don't over gambling trying to chase the bag, you will only end up chasing empty bag. |
