761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: September 17, 2023, 01:26:29 PM
Is it appropriate for Erik ten Hag to be fired from his position as coach?

Not yet but he’s heading that way if they don’t start getting positive results, fast.

Ten Hag has spent close to £400,000,000 since being there and they look further than ever away from competing for the PL and CL.
762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 17, 2023, 09:49:18 AM
Yesterday all favorites won except Manchester United who once again had a lot of difficulties against Brighton and lost their game 1-3.Other than that everything went smoothly with Manchester City,Tottenham,Liverpool and Newcastle all won their games and made a lot of money to people who bet them or parlayed them together.

Now I hope Arsenal which is the main favorite to win today their game while also Chelsea is playing against a weak opponent in theory and they should win their game too. However the Premier League is usually with surprise results every week and this week so far no favorite has made an error so surprises can be expected.

Man Utd are in big trouble, they’ve spent so much money since Ten Hag took over and they don’t look anywhere close to competing for the big trophies. I’d argue that Ten Hag’s job might be under threat if they don’t start getting results soon.

Chelsea today are even more of a joke, spending the GDP of a small nation on crap players. If they don’t beat Bournemouth you could say Pochettino should be under pressure.

Liverpool, Spurs and Man City all looking strong, let’s see what Arsenal can do today.
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: September 15, 2023, 04:12:23 PM
The online gambling industry is a massive and thriving sector in the global market. While it's difficult to provide an exact size it’s estimated to be worth billions of dollars annually.

With the increasing popularity of online casinos, sportsbooks, poker rooms and other gambling platforms the industry has experienced significant growth. Things like technological advancements, mobile accessibility and regulatory changes have contributed to its expansion.

The industry's size and continued growth reflect the strong demand for online gambling entertainment worldwide.

How can BNB still be worth so much after all that carry on this year?

Surely it should be way down the top 100 shitecoins list.

Market cap of $32 billion. How is this possible?

Shitcoins are truly shit.

 Roll Eyes

Probably because CZ is doing everything in his power to keep it afloat. I wouldn’t be surprised if he leverage trades against his users and/or sells user funds to keep BNB price up.

Was nice to see Djokovic win his 24th Grand Slam which I believe puts him out in front, alone, as the most successful player in the history of the sport.

Happy to hear that he doesn’t plan to retire just yet - https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/tennis/article-12504207/amp/Novak-Djokovic-jokes-leave-tennis-24-years-Serbian-insisting-retirement-isnt-mind-doesnt-want-leave-sport-Open-triumph.html

769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: September 13, 2023, 07:35:31 PM
Gambling addiction can be really tough overcome but with the right approach it is possible to regain control.

If you have a problem you need to recognise and admit that you have a gambling problem. Acknowledging the issue is the first step towards recovery. Reach out to trusted friends, family or support groups who can provide understanding, empathy and guidance throughout your journey.

You have to have strict budgets and avoid access to large sums of money. Consider seeking professional help to manage your finances effectively. Finding alternative activities is vital, take up new hobbies, exercise you need to divert your attention from gambling.

Identify situations, people or places that encourage gambling and try to avoid them. Replace them with healthier environments that promote your well being. Prioritise your mental and physical health. Develop healthy coping mechanisms like meditation, deep breathing exercises of even journaling to manage stress and cravings.

If you can’t solve addiction on your own think about therapy or counselling to address underlying issues contributing to your addiction. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) has shown promising results in treating gambling addiction.

Recovery is a process that requires commitment, patience and support. You are not alone and seeking help is a courageous step towards a happier and healthier life.
770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: September 13, 2023, 07:05:22 PM
Most people lose on slots, you never see a broke bookie or casino. As a gambler you’re not supposed to look at slots as a way of attaining an income. If that’s what you’re after you will soon be broke.

Slots and gambling in general is supposed to be fun, a hobby if you will. You are supposed to enjoy gambling and whatever happens, happens. It’s not supposed to be seen as a way you live or a desperation to win to put food on the table.

Practise responsible gambling, set limits, only gamble with amounts you can afford to lose.

772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big capital, small risk or small capital big risk - which is best approac? on: September 12, 2023, 08:35:55 PM
It depends on how much money you have and what your risk tolerance is. Nobody should start gambling with money they can’t afford to lose, it doesn’t matter if it’s big capital with a small risk or small capital with a big risk. Responsible gambling is key, everybody with half a brain knows that.

Those kind of scores do not happen very often. Imagine the odds you’d have got on that one prematch.

I wonder if any of the guys in Tallinn will be watching Belgium vs Estonia, it kicks off in a bit. Don’t get your hopes up though guys Wink

779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: September 10, 2023, 12:35:43 PM
Ireland vs Netherlands is the most exciting match as a neutral tonight in my opinion. Netherlands should win but Ireland are a good team at home, they have a passionate home crowd and under the lights should be a really good game. Both teams to score seems like a good bet.

I see you suckers are still here hoping for a miracle. It’s been a while now and the price still gets rejected at 30k or just a little over. I wonder when the big flush to 10k will come? I suggest you all dump your bitcorns because things are going to get a lot worse. Buy silver, it’s far superior, precious metals will make a big comeback in the coming years. Bitcoin will never see another all time high, it was fun while it lasted. Sell everything or lose everything. I’m trying to help you all and warn you. I don’t like seeing people end up broke. Please take heed, you are running out of time to sell in the $20,000’s.

Didn't know that roach and proudhon had offspring together

Nobody will ever beat NotLambChop, she (apparently female) was relentless. I remember her spamming full pages of old men in, shall we say, compromising positions. A truly twisted, weird woman, pretty intelligent which made it all the more fucked up.

Trolls come and go but bitcoin continues to prove them all wrong. The genuine NOCOINER one’s (proudhon must be a whale…..surely) must he devastated to witness what a beast bitcoin is and continues to be.

They will all disappear in 2024 and 2025. We’ll probably get a visit from proudhon at some point as the next bear market starts in 2026 and then the cycle starts again. We’ll all be here cheerleading, posting memes, rockets and green dildos, hot girls etc regardless of the price.
