761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC price justification on: November 15, 2012, 10:27:24 AM
I like ltc, its quicker for gambling with Tongue but I cant see the current price holding either, its been on a decline since peaking at 10c.

ppcoin is interesting, but it needs a GUI client that shows off these new features it has.

762  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: November 15, 2012, 09:39:47 AM
The site design is nice Smiley

Thanks!

May I suggest generating your result in a verifiable way.

We intend to change the lotteries so that the selected values are selected at the listing of the game and then a hash of the values is provided which can then be verified after the game closes.  Unfortunately we can't do something similar for the raffles as we don't know beforehand how many tickets will be sold for each game.

Do you have an announcement thread ?

Yes, our announcement thread is here

I like to see a bit of play history on lotto sites before moving them out of pending.

The site has been live for a while now and there are some testimonials on the announcement thread above.

Thanks!

No problems, please fill in my new template (ahh laziness) and I'll get it added shortly Smiley

Why a modern digital commodity is written about in a near dead medium instead of online is beyond me anyway.

When was the last  time any of you actually bought a magazine ? for me it was PC Power Play 1998.

767  Economy / Gambling / Re: satoshiseleven.com - new gambling site on: November 05, 2012, 11:56:06 AM
Doubt it.. wouldn't be worth it to buy domain + hosting JUST for a short scam.

It would only cost you $20 if that Wink but it does seem like a lot of effort imho.

Lets wait and see.
768  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: November 05, 2012, 10:19:06 AM
Im having trouble with switchpoker right now:

They are currently refusing to cash out my previously deposited funds unless I keep playing with my funds or accept a 5% charge.
Accusing me of "Our deposit and withdrawal system is reserved for players and is not to be used purely to move funds from one payment system to another. ".
Which is false, I played a few rounds on their site then went back to seals with clubs (I didnt like the requirement of converting BTC to EUR and back again.
They have offered me a Skrill cashout, but I am hesitant to use Skrill as it sets off all sorts of alarms on my bank account.

Site offline?

Lets hope its not a hit and run.
770  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cross-gambling on: November 05, 2012, 09:58:22 AM
one casino will consistently rake less profit proportionally if their bet range is larger than the other casinos

I still disagree.  Expected profit is proportional to house edge (if we ignore progressive jackpots) and nothing to do with bet range.

Changing the bet range can change the variance, but the expected profit is always going to be the house edge times the amount wagered.

If you have a house edge of 1%, and I wager 1000 BTC, you can expect to keep 10 BTC of it, no matter how I split up the 1000 BTC into smaller bets.

I'm sorry I don't have time now to address your post in more detail.  What you say about progressive pots is interesting.  I suppose it's possible that there are some games out there where the progressive pot is big enough that it's 'worth' playing for the player, mathematically speaking.  I know the SatoshiDice progressive game used to be like that, for a very short time until the rules were changed.

As someone who loves to run martingale simulations I can tell you bet range is a controlling factor in how much a house earns percentage wise (when dealing with a single player).
There seems to be a tipping point where the range becomes large enough for martingalers to reduce the casinos expected rake.

All this being said, I still have not figured out a way to win every time Tongue

772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Someone wiped out the buy book on i0 coins this morning on: October 29, 2012, 11:55:18 PM
Yep this is what I wanted to avoid with SolidCoins, and it appears to have worked. Many more people have a share of the early wealth which creates more stable market conditions.

In i0coins case 4 or 5 people had 90% of the first 100-200K coins and could do whatever they wanted with the market. Currently on the SolidCoin exchange there are more buy orders than coins exist, so that should tell you something.

Sorry that you lost your BTC
773  Economy / Gambling / Re: Transparent gambling games? on: October 25, 2012, 10:12:43 AM
another site I forgot to mention is BitcoinGamer.

The admin is really helpful and while the site is a bit plain he has an excellent variety of games.
He added craps simply because I requested it for example Smiley
774  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceOnCrack.com | If you thought dice was addicting... on: October 25, 2012, 08:51:59 AM
something for the more discerning gambler hey Cheesy
I'll get around to play testing and adding to the list shortly.

I love how you can view a graph of the game by looking up its tx, very sexy.
775  Economy / Gambling / Re: Transparent gambling games? on: October 24, 2012, 02:34:48 PM
I'd recommend bitZino too, and I don't have a referral link to push at you.  Smiley  Every game is provably fair - they shuffle the deck, then effectively allow you to cut it before they deal the hand, so the site itself doesn't know and can't control what cards (or dice rolls, or roulette numbers) are going to come out, since it's decided by the player's "cut".

On top of that, the games all just work in your browser.  No download required, and no Flash plugin required.  All just pure HTML5 goodness.

It's the only place I know that has all 3 of:

* provably fair (like strike sapphire isn't - they publish the shuffles only well after you play, no hash magic before you play)
* fun (like satoshidice isn't - it's like there's no game, just winning or losing)
* always pays out when you win (like bitjack21 doesn't - they invented 'provably fair' but seem to have trouble paying out)

So Dooglus when do you come out and admit you work for bitzino Tongue

I see you constantly plugging their site Wink

Id argue there are many more games in my list that meet these three categories then just bitzino.
My suggestions: Minefield (awesome), BitZino (no arguments), btcmultiplier, bitcoindarts (yay) and SatoshiRoulette all meet the same your criteria.

So I guess you really dont look that hard do you ?

I think our universes designers are smarter than this, why not use SVG instead of a flat image format.
No matter how far we zoom in, it will still render smoothly Cheesy
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SRoulette posting PMs in a locked thread. Dishonest person. on: October 20, 2012, 09:59:53 AM
Oh chaang, I do recognize your type easily.
You are an unpleasant person and a spoiled brat that is unable to accept being at fault and extremely pissed when your faults are publically displayed (thanks for the entertainment btw).
Usually we see this type of behaviour in sexy white trash women.....

Your friend MnW would be proud to see you imitate his stage exit.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SRoulette posting PMs in a locked thread. Dishonest person. on: October 20, 2012, 09:31:44 AM
? You avoid the issue SRoulette. There were communication that took place over about a month. You are just wrong when you say only two messages. I still have them all saved...

Please explain why you felt it was a good idea to take our private conversation public in a locked thread?

Why did you feel you should be able to make claims when I did not have the ability to respond?

Will you in the future post potential investors PMs in public when they are not happy with the way you operate?

Thank you.

What's the problem Goat? What is there to hide? He apologized and unlocked the thread.

You gonna keep soiling yourself? lol

 Cheesy

this is goat exiting bitcoin

780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A formal appology from SRoulette on: October 20, 2012, 09:30:18 AM
LOL Chaang thought he was a board member of Satoshi Roulette after sending some PM's and this is why he threw a tantrum over PPC being added, seriously Huh?

No one will ever do business with you Chaang, you are a fucking train wreck on self destruct ala Matthew n Wright.
Try to drag down everyone else around you on your way out.
