761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nights Watch by Afrikoin on: December 18, 2015, 12:35:19 AM
I'm betting 0.1 bitcoins that Bitcoin will be at or above $500 on January 15th. It's pretty conservative because I actually expect a big pump above 600$ in the next 2 weeks. The last pump was just a premature ejaculation, someone got too excited too fast. The trend is upwards and as soon as the majority gets it, it will go crazy. Looking at the latest posts in this thread I would propose that the next ATH would be driven by Africa/Kenya? Cheesy
762  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this Satoshi, and if so, what does his 1M btc mean for bitcoin's price? on: December 09, 2015, 12:54:07 AM
Well, Satoshi's had 4/5 years off to work himself up into a batty egomaniac. Stranger things have happened. Perhaps this fella will emerge at a conference in a full on Satoshi supersuit and sign a message from the genesis block while fireworks explodes from his arse.

He could even claim to be god Cheesy with his 1 000 000 bitcoins
763  Economy / Speculation / Re: 152$ was the bottom? (July 2013 comparison) on: December 09, 2015, 12:46:09 AM
I guess it is fair to say that the bottom is in fact in at 152$ since we're entering the new bubble zone these days.

God27 predicted it.

Do you honestly feel that $152 will be the bottom? Im surprised.

If so, then I correctly predicted bottom in the 5th post of this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=913423.msg10030218#msg10030218

Do you really think someone like me can call bottom? I don't think so. Then you say a broken clock is right twice a day....

What's next.....you will be surprised again....

There was also some other guy who saw 150 in a dream, I wonder where's his post about it (would be nice to reference it).
764  Economy / Speculation / Re: Unable to break $400 on: December 09, 2015, 12:36:51 AM
You got what you with for, its 400 now. lets hope it hold up.

Actually it is +411$ on all the major exchangers and in the Chinese one it is around 423.5$, it isn't finished yet  Smiley

It's only the beginning. high 419 on stamp at the moment. we could get to 500 in a couple of days
765  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this Satoshi, and if so, what does his 1M btc mean for bitcoin's price? on: December 09, 2015, 12:20:34 AM
If this guy really is Satoshi, would his life be in danger? I'm sure a lot of banksters would at least want him dead for creating bitcoin.
766  Economy / Speculation / Re: So the panick buying is kicking in.. on: December 09, 2015, 12:14:35 AM
the bubble just took a break and is now beginning again...
767  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] B&C Exchange - A decentralized exchange paying BTC dividends on: December 04, 2015, 11:22:16 AM
I wonder what chance the centralized altcoin exchanges have after B&C goes live? Who would want to use them any more?
768  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nights Watch by Afrikoin on: December 04, 2015, 11:20:11 AM
This thread is starting to look more like a bullish news thread lately Cheesy... anyway Max Planck's quotes are awesome. I believe he has also said that consciousness generates matter and not vice versa and perhaps even that life is not an exception but a rule to this universe.
769  Economy / Speculation / Re: Illuminati End Game Started --- effects on BTC on: December 02, 2015, 12:55:12 AM
Even when government would want to give fixed addresses, they can't force you to use it. They would not even know if you use bitcoin and send and receive them. Since they don't know the addresses are yours.

When has "can't force it" stopped the government from coming up with draconian laws before?

They will outlaw the use of non-whitelisted bitcoin addresses even though they cannot reliably enforce the law. This just gives way to more corruption. Even though LEs would be having hard time trying to track the IPs to the responsible "criminals" who used bitcoin illegally, they will try and they will put some people to jail. It will be enough to scare the sheeple and demotivate them of using bitcoin illegally.

So sure, you can let them give you the addresses but i doubt bitcoins would think of their blockchain as the real bitcoin.

Sorry but I don't understand what you want to say with this sentence.
770  Economy / Speculation / Re: Illuminati End Game Started --- effects on BTC on: December 01, 2015, 11:35:04 PM
Bitcoin could EASILY be re-designed so 1 ruling party has 100% control over it..

IMO this will be the method used to gain complete control of the worlds finances..

No RFD chips.. just crypto... only cryptos that are gov controlled will be legal.

And you would use such a bitcoin then? If not then you would simply stay with the old blockchain. I wonder how you plan on moving everyone to use the corrupt blockchain.

Every person gets assigned their personal set of bitcoin addresses. Same goes to businesses. Those addresses are all monitored by the big brother. If you receive bitcoins from an address that is not whitelisted then you are obliged to give those coins away to your government because that money could be dirty. Sending coins to an address that is not whitelisted would be illegal. Using other than whitelisted addresses would also be illegal.

After that there will be different price for whitelisted coins than for all the other coins in circulation. Exchanges are only allowed to operate with whitelisted coins. Coins that are not whitelisted will be forced to black markets only. LEs will be motivated to hunt down black markets because the coins they confiscate will be whitelisted after the auction.
771  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening to BTC price? on: November 29, 2015, 10:10:23 PM
I expect upward outbreak soon. What we experienced 30 days ago might happen again soon.
772  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTER.com hacked| 7170 BTC stolen |DON'T KEEP YOUR MONEY ON AN EXCHANGE| REOPENED on: November 29, 2015, 05:48:17 PM
perhaps we could all donate some bitcoins to the enemies of bter.com so that they would either ddos bter to death or even physically harm the operators Cheesy I'm kidding but the general idea still suits the situation --- if you can't vote against your enemy then vote for the enemy of your enemy. if your enemy does not have an enemy: create it.
773  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTER.com hacked| 7170 BTC stolen |DON'T KEEP YOUR MONEY ON AN EXCHANGE| REOPENED on: November 29, 2015, 01:34:43 PM
bter.com stole 7 bitcoins from me. you know what they do with thieves in china? They fucking maul their hands with stones. that's what should be done to the owners of bter.com

My coins were transferred to some BTC_B account where I can see them but cannot withdraw them. They are supposed to pay me back over time but have failed to do so.

Do yourself a favor and research what film technology was available back then.

From there, start watching NASA footage, especially the film For All Mankind.

Conspiracy theorists seem to only reference a few images that they think have some sort of position on.  There is too much real footage to be a fake or a hoax.  Sure mankind went to space for political reasons, but who cares, it happened.

Do yourself a favour and research the moon landing conspiracy theory. If they really went to the moon then why fake anything at all?

I'm sure they all think man-made satellites and the ISS are fake too, don't worry. The level of conspiracy theories in this thread is absolutely insane.

While satellites are definitely possible due to the zero gravity ISS is a complete joke because they have air bubbles quickly moving upwards in several video footages which reveals that the whole scene is actually taking place under water.

And to those who keep using the word science, look up the Van Allen's radiation belt. The stupidity of the sheeple here is nothing new to my eyes. NASA engineer admits they can't get past the Van Allen Belts.

I think it is better to use this thread for the 'updates' : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=956738.0

Oh yes, I had forgotten about its existence.

The lunar landing was not faked, or a hoax.  Keep grasping at straws.

Also, do yourself a favor and watch For All Mankind, great film.

I just watched the first one but I can already say that it is quite lame. The guy is just stating "no it wasn't a hoax" as if it was any proof. About the technology, how the hell does he know what tech the government possessed back then? It's a long known truth that the tech we use today is "20 years old" for the military.

Sigh...
This thread contains many examples of why scientific literacy is so important.
I don't know that there's much hope for Hyena in terms of readjusting their thought processes.
Given that his/her posts are riddled with absolutes, they don't appear to realize that this undermines their credibility, regardless of the topic.
This displays a fundamental lack of knowledge regarding what our science has discovered about the nature of reality since the mid-1900's.
...

Instead of telling us something useful and educating you keep on sticking insulting labels on me without anything backing them up. You could as well as tell me to fuck off and that I suck which would be the TLDR version of your message. You are either butthurt or trolling, I don't know and I don't care.

One part of your text was interesting though. You encouraged people to question themselves Cheesy which is not a bad idea by the way. You should do it as well. However, equally important is to question everything external to yourself too. For example, one should always question the official story.
778  Economy / Exchanges / Re: bter.com still owes 6300 BTC to its customers on: November 28, 2015, 12:42:06 PM
Really anything is possible! My opinion is that they have stole the money, yes all 7170 BTCs and are now millionaires and they don't give a damn about anything else. They are operating the exchange just to give back people slowly the owned amount from the fees! But this will take a while, as you can see only 10% has been given back.

Is there anything that can be done?! I think it's to late. A time for collective reaction with the authorities or in some other way was just after a hack, now already 1 year has passed!

I am sorry for your loss. 7 BTCs is a lot of money!

I guess from shit flowers grow. Thanks to the bter incident nubits devs started the blocks and chains decentralized exchange development which would eliminate the exchange hack threat forever. being a shareholder there I might earn my 7btc back easily.
779  Economy / Exchanges / Re: bter.com still owes 6300 BTC to its customers on: November 27, 2015, 05:01:33 PM
That's a real pain. Strangely enough I haven't seen any BTer's customers complaining around here. At least If i got rammed by the exchange I wouldn't stop trolling them until i've seen my coins back!

yes it's weird. I stopped any business with them ever since they stole my bitcoins. Would it be fair to think that they are selectively paying back only to the customers who kept doing business with them even after the "hack" ?
780  Economy / Exchanges / bter.com still owes 6300 BTC to its customers on: November 27, 2015, 03:57:49 PM
bter.com got hacked almost a year ago. So far they have only paid back ~10%  of their debt in one payment. They promised to pay once in every 6 months. So far they have only paid once. When will they pay again and how much? Is anyone else waiting for their coins to be paid back by bter? Bter owes me 7 bitcoins. If they don't pay back soon the price of BTC will rise so much that they would never be able to pay back. How can we punish bter for their sloppy business practices? Perhaps start a dirt campaign against bter.com?
