Does anyone have firmware for the k16 that we can have open sourced online yet?
763  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 20 AMD 7950 GPUs on: September 01, 2013, 04:56:17 PM

764  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 20 AMD 7950 GPUs on: September 01, 2013, 02:44:41 PM
Where are you shipping from?. And where can I see your rep?. I could be interested in one, but whow much is shipping to FL 33172?

My rep I am all over the forum. ...and I live in FL too so shipping would be fairly cheap and fast.

I am selling part of my farm to make way for new equipment that we are getting. Purchased for the farm, but never got used. All of them have about ~2 months of mining on them. And I will include an riser with each GPU. I will be clearing out 20 13 of them to make space. Buyer pays shipping and escrow if they would like escrow. Looking to get 180$ per card, I accept btc of course.

Now lets see if Yifu actually issues any of those refunds, this is starting to sound like nefario to me.
770  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: August 28, 2013, 02:38:16 PM
Anyone that has sourced parts, knows that you get wrong parts sometimes, or you find a flaw in the design and have to order a whole new set of parts to replace the ones that will not work. The assumption that he is swimming in btc and cash after this group buy is pretty silly in my opinion. Then include the time spent, yeah hes working for peanuts at this point unless avalon gets the chips to him.
771  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: August 28, 2013, 02:25:53 PM
Explain to me again how the group-buy organizers are cashing in "for serious profits" exactly?

Simple. They added 10% to the price of the real chips. steamboat has 6 batches, each 700BTC each. +10%, steamboat got a fee of 70BTC per batch. That's a total of 420 BTC or ~50000 USD.

I'd call that a serious profit for a light amount of work.

Lol @ light amount of work.

As soon as you updated it, the network jumped.

Nice! Yeah and a lot more people are mining too.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BlockBurner LLC - Crucible FPGA Scrypt Miner - Announcement Aug-19 on: August 20, 2013, 08:53:05 PM
Its perhaps a little cheeky to ask you at this stage, Operatr, but do you have any plans to open source the work you have done so far?

Actually, I suspect your implementation is probably further along than BlockBurner's implementation was.

We do not know where they are in development, no need to rag on the man.

778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] MemoryCoin | CPU Only | Very Deflationary on: August 18, 2013, 02:40:26 AM
1. Got the Scrypt wrong and can still be supermined by GPUs

Thanks for your comments and links on this. I haven't had time to fully digest them - there's a lot of information there and there are some competing demands on my time.  From what I've seen, adding cores does not produce linear improvements, even with the small numbers of cores in a CPU. But if MC is vulnerable to GPU mining, I'd like to see it fail fast, so I'd encourage you to post any ideas you have for how one might go about creating a GPU miner.

4. Afaik, has made no advances on improved anonymity

Actually, MC has gone backwards on this a little by always sending change to first address in a wallet to support the voting system, and because this is more intuitive for new users. Generally with MC where there is a choice between ease of use and anonymity, I'll choose ease of use. I care about privacy too, but I care about adoption more. The privacy options of Bitcoin are obviously still there in the protocol, but users will need to take more care to ensure they are utilized.

Hey Freetrade, read the surrounding posts to where he linked. Be careful who you associate with, he has a tendency to expect worship....unless you were planning on changing religion then thats cool I guess.

Do you still hang around your ex gfs house talking to her door or do you respect the 100 ft requirement the court put into place and yell from across the street?

Well that deescalated quickly.

Yes because I am satisfied that they are not useful. Typical journeyman level programmers in way over their head. The best they can do is show snippets of C code, they can't even talk tech shop in terms of analysis. No need to waste my time further with them. They will not be able to give us the coin we need.

Yeah, all that might be true, but dude you are a freaking douche bag on a large scale. You should really learn to be a nice person. There is a reason the bullies of the world are ostracized. If you were the only developer available, I would not use your coin you created just because you were such a dick to everyone. Learn to be a nice person and people may take you more seriously. Before today I had never seen a single post from you, but after today I am surprised you dont work for mpex.
