Even if its not fire proof, there are clear coats that are that can be applied on top of the Fluorescent Ink to retard heat.

No reputation with no escrow = no sales on this forum. If you wont accept escrow from people that do have reputation = scammer.
1343  Economy / Lending / Re: 420's Non-Ponzi Loans & LiteCoin Options (Lend to me, or Get a loan, Calls/Puts) on: April 07, 2013, 06:21:30 PM
You do realize, if you are offering options, you take a fee for your profit correct? When you purchase the LTC or other option you are simply "holding" it, it should not be considered part of your profits. If you want to invest and hold long term for profit, you should not be doing options.
1344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC fork? on: April 07, 2013, 06:15:51 PM

Actually, litecoin client is very well maintained by a team of very competent developers.

The overall mentality of the development behind litecoin is "reliability first"... It is sort of like debian vs. ubuntu.  Ubuntu is always new and shiny, but developers of debian (from which ubuntu was derived) consider reliability and security to be highest priority.

LOL

Coblee seems like an alright guy, but Greedi is far from anything I would call competent

Greedi is not a dev, LaSeek and Coblee however are.

The hashrate cannot be determined yet, nor price, until we have completed production units.
1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alternate Currencies On Exchanges. on: April 07, 2013, 06:08:59 PM

No matter how we look at it, it cannot be taken as a crypto currency as it is not mined. It is simply created arbitrarily.
1347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alternate Currencies On Exchanges. on: April 07, 2013, 06:02:23 PM
PPC source isn't closed, it's just not really discussed to any extensive manner by the developer and the vulnerabilities that are suspected to come along with PoS systems also aren't really talked about.

What do you think would be more fair, extremely unexplained and undocumented source?

This is what I was thinking of.

It supports open source development, regardless of the medium. Check the current bounties available.
1350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Alternate Currencies On Exchanges. on: April 07, 2013, 05:54:52 PM
ALT Coins that belong on an exchange. Opinions ? Pros/cons please. I am not figuring in premine, just reliability of the coin its self with regard to its developers and potential market.

The ones I feel should be accessible on any exchange.

BTC
LTC
DVC
NMC

BBQ - Not sure if there is anything wrong with this now that the 51% attack it got hit with at launch is no longer an issue(for the moment) perhaps the next up and comer?

All of which are not likely to be 51% (at least not anymore in bbq's case.)

Iffy coins that I am on the fence about supporting in any manner.

PPC - Closed source, flaws that there are no proof have been fixed. Based on feedback: Extremely unexplained and undocumented source. Dubious reputation of developer.
NVC - Same as PPC.
TRC - Appears to be a prime target for a 51% and may not survive due to it based on recent events.
BTE - Same as TRC.
XRP - Not mined, not really a crypto currency.
1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BBQCoin, the coin you want to eat. on: April 07, 2013, 05:06:09 PM
Looking to buy a chunk of BBQ, I am hungry. I want to purchase 300K BBQ for 0.50 BTC. Or more. PM me.
1352  Economy / Goods / Re: Prototype: Cold-Storage Wallet Card - Fireproof, Waterproof, Magnetproof, etc! on: April 07, 2013, 04:48:47 PM
Got one for LTC? Have you considered a private key that only would display when heated?
1353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC Wall Observer - BTC-e wall movement tracker on: April 07, 2013, 02:33:54 PM

1356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC FPGA discussion! on: April 07, 2013, 01:49:43 AM
Hehe, very interesting indeed.
Add me to the tally of admirers.
I don’t suppose any financial support is needed? ^.^

We have 2 investors we are talking to, but if they dont ever come through or we cant come to a good agreement.....or if we finish funding ourselves (original plan and doing well toward this direction now) then we will ask.
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC FPGA discussion! on: April 07, 2013, 01:28:37 AM
One question, likely something jasinlee would feel fine disclosing: Do you intend to work with one of the authors of a popular mining program to get bitstream support or are you making your own mining software solution? Smiley

We are working on both actually. Although probably not in the way you are thinking. We want to enable people to have a simplified method of solo mining with the fpga. But we also want it to be compatible with the most common miners. We are not that far yet that is in the final phases.
1358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC FPGA discussion! on: April 07, 2013, 12:09:51 AM
Why wouldn't I keep a sample amount of the units we produce to mine? How could we know that the units work if we did not test them?
1359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin with no updates for 9 months? What about flaws? on: April 06, 2013, 10:41:40 PM
Probably not, as you may have noticed, its benefited ltc to not grab up each upgrade in case there is an issue that can be avoided. BTC is ok as a ltc testnet Smiley
