I agree with your objection. I was not careful when I wrote the share amounts, and I was wrong, they were too high.
Am I getting a the bounty that was first posted or is it changing? It will change, but dont stress it, I will donate the remainder since you were not aware there would have been an issue with it.

1BQC per 1 DVC? That has made me laugh.
Are Devcoins not on the way out?
Devcoins have already been on an exchange for a while and have been traded at higher volume than other currencies (against the btc) on multiple days I have noticed on the api for vircurex and especially on cryptostocks. If bbq is open sourced completely also, its developers would earn devcoins for publishing their works on devtome.com. I would love to write a piece for that project. How would I go about it, shall I just write an article about subject and then send it to you Jasinlee? I have always wanted to be an author in some way. Register on devtome.com, follow the directions here. http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=how_to_get_setup_earning_devcoins_by_writingFuzzybear will approve your account after you PM per directions on the site.

Go make a new thread and complain there, this is the thread for devcoin, not "I am twobits and I am a genius you should all listen to me."
You have already made your dispute known, let the people that speak to each other like adults decide what to do with it.

http://devtome.com/DVCImage/It is not complete yet, but devtome.com will have one of the image dvc tickers on the site now. Tomorrow a generator or something simpler should be available. Examples below: The source will be posted soon too then I will update the thread. Lol, so you propose a bounty to get someone interested in doing something, then magically post code for the same bounty hours later? I am not the only person that works on the site, unthinkingbit is aware of this also, he handled the coding, but I manage the bounties for that particular person. Cynical much? Are you trying to increase your post count by creating a new reply to every single post instead of consolidating it into a single post? (/cynicism)

In relation to the ticker bounty. I suggest a standard published to devtome.com for all the major coding languages. And a bounty be awarded for each thorough and well sourced article. A new bounty should be assigned to each new language and should be in reference to each of the other pages on the devtome.com wiki. http://nodeguide.com/style.htmlThere's a lot of different standards - but it's not too hard to come up with something that's cross-language. While it talks about node - only a few are nodejs specific. Any submitted solution should pass the languages lint processor (ala pyline, jslint, etc) and it's basically a standards based sanity check of code. I wrote this in a hurry add whatever you think would be necessary, but I think considering the bounties that are being issued, we should have a jump off point such as the bitcoin standards.

Some suggestions since you are hunting around.
Perhaps investigate the common hardware used to create mining rigs.
Such as:
Risers Molex Adapters PSUs (high end) MOBOs Open air frames Case fans Multi USB ports Specialty keyboards such as roll up ones USB Flash Drives SSD Drives Mice Cases for laptops/tablets Wireless Devices
Even if the prices are above the normal pricing online. Even myself as an example would be willing to pay in devcoins for the purchase to help the adoption rate.
Thank you, this is now my shopping list and I will be adding to the original post soon. also i was thinking of offering a Rasberry Pi Good idea, and other items like 3d printer parts would be a huge boon to dvc in general.

http://btcticker.appspot.com/I request a bounty for a clone of this application for devcoin. Stipulations would include open source being posted to devtome.com. Then additional shares can be given for each additional exchange that is added (one time). Additionally, I would like to see all of the coin options added to this site in time if possible (they should pull the same API information for each site) but since this would require a bit more work, it should also have another additional set of shares assigned for this function. But, at least devcoin should be present to receive any part of the bounty. I also suggest a recurring share for the hosting of the site if it is outside of the google apps hosting. This will help to facilitate further sales threads and sites built around devcoin for payments, or other alt currencies.

Just fyi for the guys who joined kinda recently. You should probably combine all your posts into a single post rather than multiple replies, you will probably tick some people off or have a mod deleting your posts.

I would like to request a bounty be discussed for a text populating wizard/flow that can be used as a standardized generator for security prospectus so more devcoin based securities can be issued on cryptostocks or other sites.
I would also like to see more devcoin investment opportunities on cryptostocks and such sites, am tempted to set up my own if i ever got a good idea and enough devcoins to start one, as it is i feel I am about to snap up a couple of thousand shares in the DVB listing... so buy them b4 I do... think there not many cheap ones left. I just took a look. Seems there are only two DVC based stocks right now? I can agree with wanting to see more. The 1 million coin price to create something may be a bit steep though. Thats actually pretty cheap, most of the securities cost far more than 1mil devcoins worth of btc.

Here is the really cool part, you can use bitcoin offline wallets for devcoin. They use the same addresses/private keys. So you can send dvc to a btc address. Then recover them with the private key of that wallet on a devcoin client later. Attention, this function does not work properly, when you try to import a private key to devcoind from bitcoind you end up with an import error! Could be because bitcoin now supports compressed keys by default and devcoin does not have support for them. We have a standing bounty to bring dvc to 0.8.1?

I do not know what exactly a DNS seed is, what exactly it is that I have to set up at the DNS-provider, in the zone-records of the domains I want to put DNS seeds into.
Once I have all those set up I can look into putting them into the code if our old caode even has DNS seed support in it.
(If it doesn't I can just find IP addresses to put into the last resort IP addresses list that is in the code.)
-MarkM-
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/NetworkBootstrapping You choose which peers to connect to by sorting your address database by the time since you last saw the address and then adding a bit of randomization. Bitcoin has three methods of finding peers. Addr The addr messages described above create an effect similar to the IRC bootstrapping method. You know reasonably quickly whenever a peer joins, though you won't know for a while when they leave. Bitcoin comes with a list of addresses known as "seed nodes". If you are unable to connect to IRC and you've never connected to the network before, the client will update the address database by connecting to one of the nodes from this list. The -addnode command line option can be used to manually add a node. The -connect option can force bitcoin to connect only to a specific node. DNS Bitcoin looks up the IP Addresses of several host names and adds those to the list of potential addresses. This is the default seeding mechanism, as of v0.6.x and later. IRC As-of version 0.6.x of the Bitcoin client, IRC bootstrapping is no longer enabled by default. The information below is accurate for most versions prior. Bitcoin joins a random channel between #bitcoin00 and #bitcoin99 on irc.lfnet.org. Your nick is set to an encoded form of your IP address. By decoding all the nicks of all users on the channel, you get a list of all IP addresses currently connected to Bitcoin. For hosts that cannot make outbound connections on port 6667, the lfnet servers are also listening on port 7777. Now imagine all the words bitcoin, say devcoin
