You do realize that that's Nasser in the lower right hand corner, don't you, miscalculating the tipping point by loading 51% of the miners to the back of the cart? Also, that's an old image, explaining how Luke's Unit got damage during shipping.

I know, but I'm not saying, nor giving out clues. So, if you excuse me, I need to overclock some voltage.

7723  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin 100: Developed Specifically for Non-Profits on: July 25, 2013, 05:30:57 AM
Hi. We are a UK registered charity called Virtual Development UK and we run a telemedicine project in Africa called "The Virtual Doctor Project", which uses the local mobile broadband network to connect rural clinics in very poor regions where there are no doctors, with doctors and other medical specialists around the world, for diagnostic and treatment advice, via the internet. We currently have three sites in Zambia with a further three being added next month. As with any charity we are always looking for innovative ways to raise funding and Jonathan (No_2) has been talking us through bitcoin and how accepting donations on our website in bitcoin would be a good idea. We are very interested in finding out more about what would be required of us to do that, and also whether there are opportunities here in the UK or in Africa for us to use bitcoin for our purchases.

Many thanks!

Glad to see you made it outta Newbie. For all practical purposes, this NPO seems like a viable entity deserving funding from Bitcoin 100.

I'm sure you won't mind if another 24 hours passes so that if anybody has a concern it'll give them time to express it, but I'm pretty sure there shouldn't be a problem. If nothing is posted on this thread shedding any negative light by tomorrow evening, I'll contact Rassah and get the ball a rollin'. In fact, that ball is already in motion with this reply.

7724  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin 100: Developed Specifically for Non-Profits on: July 25, 2013, 05:24:12 AM
ah thats fair enough no worries then. I only mentioned it because someone mentioned btc100 in my other thread when asking about charities etc.

dont know why WBM hasnt archived it at any point. i'm not sure they've had the website very long. we all got told about it when the easyfundraising thing started (http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/cheer4all/) which didn't appear to be very successful. how does it find sites to start archiving?

bit more information about them though:
The guys who started it are from 3 different towns around the UK. 2 guys one girl. The guys grew up in rough area's and were they typical kids getting into trouble with the police etc. They got into cheerleading and it gave them something to actually do so got them off the streets as much and stopped them getting into as much trouble etc. they got quite good at it over the years and ended up competing at worlds and various other competitions around the world. They have since retired now but rather than going into the usual style of coaching where only people who can pay £40 a month + expenses etc they decided to run classes for free and raise money to pay for the venues. We have yet to compete due to costs but hope to do so soon

archive.org indexes websites without having web site owner doing anything on their part provided the site isn't brand new (it used to take 3+ months, but now more-or-less it's automatic) or a do-not-follow script was coded in the CSS/HTML.

From the overall tone of your post (without doing any further investigation), the cause seems noble enough, but the minor drawbacks are currently outweighing the ability to fund.

Bitcoin 100 would be more than happy to get the word out on this NPO provided its owners present to us something a little bit more substantial to work upon. We hope you understand our position, for it's too easy for somebody to start a charity for the sole purpose to obtain funds from us and/or others, not saying that is the case here, again haven't taken time to prove such one way or another.

Anything that can be provided to us showing us and potential donors that its viable would go a long way.

It's disgusting that there is a race between the different models.

Not much of a race. The singles and mini-rigs haven't moved yet.
They have managed to ship 2 days worth of little singles in 2 months.
Good thing they "let the other lines catch up".  Cheesy

I sure am glad that this BFL episode is getting behind us. Everything is going to be fine now that BFL is in full production assembling 400 units a day. See my thread for more info.

God's speed, BFL.

Congrats, hopefully there are less BFL (with expletives) threads started by frustrated members.

This thread is not FUD, but facts straight from Josh's "Honest Abe" lips.

22 June 2013 - ASIC Update

...

We have been working our way through the backlog of orders over the past month. Production is slowly ramping up and we are easily able to manufacture 200 units a day currently - there will be no problem hitting 400 units a day once things are in full production. Right now, we are stymied by the inflow of chips. However, the inflow rate of chips is increasing and we expect it to be quite high within the next week or two. It's been a long road to smoothing out these bottlenecks here and there.

https://forums.butterflylabs.com/pre-sales-questions/3675-refund-policy.html#post45455

Quote
All sales are final at this point. We are in full production, thus your orders are final.

If you've filed a complaint with the FTC, then there's nothing I can do, you'll have to follow up with the FTC from here on out, as no one here can assist you with that. Please be sure to direct all correspondence to them in the future going forward.

On June 22, 2013, Josh stated that there will be no problem hitting 400 units a day once things are in full production. On July 4th, 2013, Josh tells his customer base on the official BFL forum that they are in full production, hence no more refunds.

Ergo, BFL is assembling 400 units a day, readied for shipment the following day. Today is July 24, 2013, thus a total of 20 days of full production equates to 8,000 (I even doubled checked my mathz) of unknown hashrate has been assembled and shipped. For added proof, please click the following link showing thousands of bitcoiners expressing their thanks to BFL for finally receiving their miners:

The only holdup was the inflow of chips. No mention of other parts such as power supplies, for if there was indeed a shortfall, Josh would not only have mentioned it, but would have prepared for it by making sure all parts are in the warehouse like any COO worth their salt would do. Fortunately, there's a large shipment of power supplies at Sonny's Walnut St. address to save space in their warehouse.

I dearly hope that BFL and Josh accepts my humble apology for any angrish I may have bestowed upon them. I erroneously felt that by keeping the heat on them, coupled with looking out for my fellow bitcoiners, was a prudent thing to do.

Now that we have undeniable proof that indeed 400 units are being assembled and shipped daily from the BF Labs Inc. facility, it's just of matter of less than 90 days now, per Josh, that everybody who has pre-ordered an ASIC-based bitcoin miner from Butterfly Labs will soon have their devices up and running, shortly showing an ROI on their initial investment.

Therefore, there's no longer a need for anybody to request a refund from BFL, for your unit will soon be assembled and shipped to you before Thanksgiving, according to Josh. We can all safely assume that since BFL has proven themselves to be a viable Bitcoin entity, they probably have a myriad of products (yet to be revealed to us due to protecting copyrights, etc.) on the drawing board that will no doubt further protect the network, with profits taking a backseat as Josh once said during the London conference at a Bitcoin meetup at a restaurant.

Sonny Vleisides' probation will be up on September 15, 2015, thus emabling him to freely travel the country, allowing him to personally showcase any new product line, thus freeing up Josh to perform his COO duties to an even higher standard.

Currently, BFL has only 35 employees, but mark my words, this viable company is going places, and I wouldn't be surprised to see upwards of a 100 employees this time next year. I only wish I had a crystal ball to see exactly what products BFL does have up their sleeve for The Third Hoorah.

In closing, I only have one simple question directed toward BFL or Josh. Apologies if it's been asked prior, for I didn't take time to search this forum.

What's the current status of the FCC certification that Josh mentioned last November, 2012?

God's speed!

IMPORTANT UPDATE II

Team BFL is one of the top rated Minecraft teams in the world and will be attending the next competition next month. We are seeking donations to pay for our trip. Please email or PM us to get our private Bitcoin address.

We already gave them our money so they could mine with our hardware and not ship it (assuming it actually exists), so why not give them more money so they play minecraft too?

I like how you think!

Day two of not receiving a letter from BFL's lawyer. Suffice to say, anybody who was in the process of suing BFL but changed their mind because they didn't want a countersuit, can now rest assure that that that's a mute issue. Your lawyer will be able to present this thread to any judge, whereupon he/she will throw out such a libel countersuit.

It was because I was approached by three different people siting concerns about sueing BFL and getting countersued that I opted to take it upon myself to try to get sue. As all can clearly see, the thieving bastards thought it wasn't worth their time to sue a piece of shit named Bruno Kucinskas residing at 406 W. Center St. in Sandwich, IL, who just so happens to have a totem pole in his yard depicting an image of Honest Abe.

Now, if you excuse me, I have to some barn wood to clean that I stole last night, coupled with stealing more funds from Bitcoin 100, per jizz-face Josh Zerlan.  Roll Eyes

Are you saying that asshole accused you of stealing from Bitcoin100? Does the idiot know that all transactions are visible in the blockchain? Hell, you covered donations (out of your own pocket) for deadbeats that pledged funds in the beginning but failed to send the coin. I hope he lips off in person to someone in real life, like he does here, that beats his pussy ass into the ground.

Yea! The fuckturd even thinks I have a site on the side collecting funds in the name of Bitcoin 100 and pocketing the money. I challenged him to find such a site and if he does I request that I be permanently banned from BitcoinTalk.

I honestly believe that Josh won't let BFL's lawyer sue me because he would be instructed by his lawyer to not direct any futher conversation toward me, and that would make him sad.

Before I entered on the BFL mining scene, Josh was the big bully sticking it up a myriad of bitcoiners asses. I felt so left out, I wanted some that action to show him how I could be a bigger bully. I don't think he likes it very much when people don't step down from his attacks.

Let me just say this: Josh and Joe WILL be looking for another place to host them miners unless BFL gets them firetraps FCC and UL approved.

For the life of me, how the fuck did BFL not go through the simple process and outlay a few bucks to not have to deal with this issue is beyond me. And to have Josh come along and lie about getting approval in a couple weeks but nary a mention about BFL on the FCC is totally uncalled for. If they lie about this, something we know not to be true, what the fuck else are they lying about?

BFL and Josh would rather attack those asking questions and presenting facts then remedy situations like any viable entity would do.

How Sonny Vleisides is able to promote lottery and sports betting schemes on his webspawning site is also beyond me. Needless to say, his probation officer is well aware of such pages. The only thing left for me to continue doing is to warn as many bitcoiners as possible to get outta BFL while the gettin' out is good.

Afterwards, Josh we be here lying his ass off about how he was left in the dark and was a victim as well. At such time I will be the first to say, "Fuck you, Josh!"

300 units a day, my ass! Proven to be a lie, yet I'm the one getting attacked.

Josh, go fuck yourself! Sonny, lube your ass! Indy, you father is a thieving prick! Sonny's wife/girlfriend is an idiot for not doing her due diligence by Googling the name Sonny Vleisides and seeing firsthand his lottery scheming past. If she did see it and still opted to be with the prick, then she's a bigger idiot because of it.

Sonny promised after his first two posts that he'll be back to post more. We're still waiting, asshole! Changed your ways, my ass! All we've seen is lies, lies, and more lies. You even had to hire the poor little Josh to lie for you some more while you scam your ass off on your webspawner and lottery/sportsbook landing pages sites in the comfort your own little office.

And to think I'm the crazy guy here. Well, fuckturds, you all have another thing coming. I'm playing to win. And win I shall. You guys have fucked up big time!

Bruno = A person on the internet asking very, very, very simple questions.
Josh = Doxxing a person on the internet for asking very, very, very simple questions.
Bruno = The guy being doxxed and accused of stealing barn wood around the Sandwich, IL, area.
Josh = Deflecting the attention away from any subject of which may harm BFL.
Bruno = Continues to ask the same very, very, very simple questions.

Which person above has a credibility issue: The barn wood guy or the guy doxxing the barn wood guy?

Really Bruno ?

I read a lot of your posts here...

I never see any simple questions...only implying, false evidence (oh yeah your supa post with the pictures from different hardware..) tin foil hat conspiracy, etc, etc...

The only thing simple i see here...is YOU.

Here are some simple questions

1) Are you shipping 300 units a day ... and can you show us proof ?
2) Are you going to meet the 90 day deadline for all pre-orders shipped ...(~34 days left) ?
3) Where is the FCC cert for your products ?

Where are the simple answers ?

Who is/was Sonny K.?

Yet another one of Bruno's lies:

~Bruno Kucinskas~ (my real full name, sans the Jr., verifiable, for your doxxing pleasure)  Smiley

Huh, name posted by Bruno himself in March... yet somehow I'm the first one to post it.  Yep... more honesty from one of the biggest scammers in Bitcoin, Bruno Kucinskas aka Phinnaeus Gage.

How'd that 30% of sales thing go?

The reply I quoted is in reference to me stating that Bitcoin 100 will become self-supported. Over and beyond the 1% referral fee earned, of which won't occur till further down the road, I'll be starting up an entity of which 30% of net sales will go directly into the coffer of Bitcoin 100.

Straight to your pocket, I'd wager.  Quite the little scam you have going on there Bruno.  Stealing from a charity, quite a class act!

How can you be the first to report it when I was the first to report it?

That 30% of sales thing is going terrible! I'm recognizing 40% - 65% that I'm pocketing. I'm seriously thinking about ending my barn wood endeavor to scam charities full time.

Quote
Quite the little scam you have going on there Bruno.

Thank you! See, you can be nice when you want to.

Here's a gift to you: If you can find the site mentioned, I authorize BitcoinTalk to ban me permanently. Today is your lucky day, Josh. Don't let this opportunity pass you by.

Happy hunting!

7732  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs shipping 300 units a day on: July 24, 2013, 05:56:22 PM
It's really not that uncommon for a company to a long time to deliver a product.  If you look at stuff done on Kickstarter, things got funded and took way longer to deliver then promised. The only difference is that with bitcoin hardware, a lot of the value is tied to when you get hardware.  If it comes to late, it's worthless.

For things like android watches or whatever, customers are not going to care that much, they're just buying a toy and their lives will go on if it's a year late.

But I don't think BFL will be criminally liable as long as they ship all their products, even if it takes 2 years and the miners don't even pay for electricity once they finally reach customers.

And BFL is well aware of the loophole. Legally, they can deliver one unit a day and be within the confines of the law. But they opt to send out a dozen units a day to keep the refund requests as low as possible.

For those patiently waiting for units, Josh is currently in his office penning posts on this forum, posting private PMs sent to him.

Any other employee, whether a COO or not, of any other company doing such, would be immediately terminated. That said, why is Josh still employed at BFL? I think the last thing that Sonny Vleisides wants is more heat bestowed upon his beloved up-and-up enterprise.

I formally request that BF Labs Inc. immediately fire Josh Zerlan from their company before he starts releasing private information about BFL's affairs.

Sonny: Josh, I'm sorry to say this, but I have to let you go.

Josh: But,...

More homophobic hyperbole from Phinnaeus Gage AKA Bruno Kucinskas!  You go, Bruno!  Show the world what a bigoted, irresponsible liar you truly are!

No problem, bud! Will do! And you keep on responding to posts while working in the capacity of BFL on irrelevant subject matter while your customer base awaits product.

BTW, please point out the lie I made when inquiring about that FCC cert you promised in two weeks back in last November. I apologize for keep bringing it up, nut you keep glossing over the subject each and every time I, among your loyal customers, keep bringing it up.

And what about the lie you commented about meeting with Sonny K. but have yet to release whom that person was?

Josh = COO of BF Labs Inc.
Bruno = A person on the internet asking very, very, very simple questions.
Josh = Doxxing a person on the internet for asking very, very, very simple questions.

7734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING: SEC Charges pirateat40 With Running Bitcoin-Denominated Ponzi Scheme on: July 24, 2013, 04:50:58 PM
I miss Loup!

Which is why each and every one of us needs to look at our own belief structure and decide how the cost/benefit equation works for us personally. For some, working with the SEC and other investigators to pursue "traditional" justice will be the right call. Others might shy away from this because they don't trust the "traditional" methods to treat them right, or to stay out of a wider investigation that might net things as-yet unthought of to review. Yet others still might choose to find Trendon, and take their retribution out of him physically, or the threat of doing so out of his family unless he is willing to ransom their lives with his stolen gains.

And some may even go through different versions of this cycle to decide what is the right way for them personally. There is no universal truth on how to best prosecute a scumbag like pirate. Personally I think that having the SEC mess up his life for the next couple of years with an investigation is a damn good start, assuming they have frozen all of his assets and taken the sorts of precautionary moves that they and their wicked step-sisters at the IRS are known for. But the whole "hold a gun to his head until he decides to find honor" has a certain appeal too.
7735  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs shipping 300 units a day on: July 24, 2013, 04:19:45 PM
I think the SEC charging Pirateat40 has made Josh a little nervous and testy. It seams the Feds are taking fraud in the Bitcoin space more seriously than some had thought.  Grin
You may be right.  More seriously than I had thought, I'll admit.  My view was they would let bitcoin fraud and crime consume it from the inside.  I guess that that fraud was so egregious, and so clearly fraught with securities violations, that they couldn't let it go.

The pre-sales, though, I'm still not sure there will be governmental intervention.  That said, I've been surprised that BFL hasn't been more aggressive in "correcting" posters on these forums when the term "investor" rather than "presale customer" was used.  Sure, it would be a stretch to associate a presale with an unregistered investment, since it was tied to a specific item, but, still, you can't be too careful when you're running close to an edge.

I'm willing to bet that a lot more refund requests were made once the SEC article about Pirate got released, especially by investors further down the queue. Those close to the top of the queue may not request a refund, opting to take a calculated gamble, the same gamble by those made too late in Pirate's Ponzi Scheme.

No, you're not, Bruno.  You're just a confirmed thief who embezzles fund from charities and steal wood from local properties that you resell on Cragislist.  Yeah, definitely a stand up citizen, you are.
Grin  Grin
160 posts of truth, lies, FUD, conjecture and half-truths, and this guy swoops in, does a hit-and-run ad hominem attack on his nemesis, accusing him of stealing wood.

I come to the BFL threads now in the morning even before chron dot com to read my morning comics.  It's more fun, and you can't make this shit up.

Not forget the other thread where Josh has taken it upon himself to publish my real last name, but jizz-face has yet to release Sonny K.'s last name even though many have asked, including his loyal customers he refers to as Monumental Assholes.

And I'm the bad guy in all this? The guy trying to ferret out the truth?

If I recall, there were those trying to ferret out the truth about Pirate, all of which were ridiculed as well. Look at what shit Trendon is in now. And here we have Josh defending his boss, Sonny Vleisides, in a similar manner.

When the day comes, I will be literally laughing my ass off when shit finally hits the fanssssssssssss.

300 units a day my ass! It's already been proven that this is not happening, yet even it were, it'll take months to ship out all the backorders, after which time BFL doesn't have a single product in the works to follow up their ASIC line, even if they had the trust of their customer base to sell anything in the future.

In six more weeks, Sonny may be off his probation and will be able to fly to Costa Rica to enjoy the beauty of its blue butterflies.

<in the voice of BFL>

Even though we clearly stated that there will be no refunds, we will honor every single refund request, even if every single person who ordered wants their money returned, until we say no more, that is. To date, only three people have requests refunds of which we promptly honored.

This discussion about us not honoring refunds MUST stop. There is no justifications whatsoever for those who continue to beat this dead horse.

Best regards,

Sonny K.

IMPORTANT UPDATE I

BFL will no longer honor ANY refund request since we now have entered the Full ProductionTM stage of our glorious operation.

Thanks to the equipment we ordered off eBay, as seen in our lobby, not near the production area, we are currently assembling and shipping 300 units a day, and within 90 days all backorders will be shipped thanks to our team of 35 employees.

We will not be suing Bruno because he is a piece of shit, but anybody else who libels us WILL be sued. Honest Abe!

For those on BitcoinTalk still wanting information about our miners being FCC certified, I leave you with the following two words: Monumental Assholes!

We humbling apologize for all the unforeseen delays prior to this date and in the future. Regretfully, because other assholes entered the ASIC-based mining business, the units you will receive from BFL will no longer be profitable. Thus, such is life!

Rough night, tonight! Got sprayed by a skunk, took a nail to the knee, a 12" wide barn board with lead paint hit my forehead, and the truck is now stuck in the mud on some farmer's property. Did I miss anything while I gone for a couple hours?

While out, I dreamt up a couple new Bitcoin Charity ideas so that I can steal some more money from miners.

Has anybody else noticed the dangerous game Josh is playing? That boy ain't right, and he better start getting his priorities in line. Either that, or take another trip to Vegas to buy himself some more pussy.

This should give enough ammo for Josh to pen his next post, for the Sonny-Sucker won't comment on the FCC issue.

I wonder if Aaron still had funds sitting at Mt Gox.

I can mention it to them and see if they would. Date I ask what red flags they are?

Sure!

Although an exception was previously made, the cheer4all.org site currently has a Bitcoin accepted here option in place. One of the goals of Bitcoin 100 is to get NPOs to embed said option. There currently are other more viable NPOs accepting donations via Bitcoin of which would not qualify for funding from Bitcoin 100.

That said, again, please feel free to provide more information about cheer4all.org so that an honest accessment could be reached.

In no way am I dissing the organization or who is behind it, for I truly don't know who that person(s) is, hence requesting more info.
