My heart sank when I heard it would have a control. I had hoped it would use a BCI like necomimi.

What is weird is that I envisioned such ears, but highly thought that no way were such on the market. Thanks for the link, and here's a video on the same site: http://www.necomimi.com/WatchTheVideo.aspx

Like I said: Furries have all the fun!
6802  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: September 02, 2013, 12:26:38 AM
I would be more concerned about the 14 day countdown until Sonny's parole ends.

Any violations committed while on parole can still be pursued even after parole is over.

Duly noted, although I don't expect to be violated during my visit.

I'll have the pleasure of meeting him on the 10th.

Raspberry.

Do tell

I will be visiting Camp BFL on the 10th of September thanks to Josh's invite.
6804  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Wish BFL would be as trustworthy and fair as Avalon instead of beeing a scam :-( on: September 02, 2013, 12:16:03 AM
Has anyone actually received a refund from Avalon yet?  There's a massive thread with people complaining about it.  Some have been waiting for a refund for months.

Although not linked in this post, I have seen several transactions via the Blockchain. Some other will need to take the honors and post the link.

It's funny how people still prefer the units over their money back. I suggest some math and taking a look at the difficulty development over the past months as a comparison.

With Avalon just about outta the picture, at what exchange rate does mining with the Monarch--once shipped--make sense: e.g., $150; $175; $200; $234.56?
6807  Other / Off-topic / P.O.C.B.S ~ Is BitSquirrel's Identity Soon to be Revealed? on: September 01, 2013, 10:53:28 PM

Quote
WHEN I tell people about power outages caused by squirrels — and trust me when I say that I tell people about power outages caused by squirrels quite often — I wind up hearing a lot of the same snarky jokes. People say the squirrels are staging an uprising. People say the squirrels are calculating, nut-cheeked saboteurs trying to overthrow humanity. Like the apes in “Planet of the Apes,” or the Skynet computer network in “The Terminator,” the squirrels represent a kind of neglected intelligence that’s suddenly, sinisterly switching on.

Any suggestions as to where BitSquirrel will be able to seek asylum if he's identity is revealed?

All BitSquirrel is trying to do is bring further awareness to Bitcoin. Yes, a few innocent dank-minded squirrels were sacrificed, but that's the price needed to be paid for financial freedom from the banks.

I would say this should be added to list:

Women sell positive pregnancy tests on Craigslist for $25 each. . . and there is no shortage of motivated buyers

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2407401/Women-sell-positive-pregnancy-tests-Craigslist-25-each.html

What the hell am I looking at?

From the same article:
Craigslist has also become an underground online bazaar for other fertility items. Women are selling frozen breast milk for $1 per ounce,

Nothing like a cold glass of breast milk on your corn flakes to start the day. Anybody selling dried semen--yet?

I found a bent rusty paperclip for $.50 including shipping on Ebay and it came with a free surprise, so of course I bid on it. I told my friends about it, and they bid it up to $12. Yes they did pay for it, and it came with a certificate of authenticity and a fake $1,000,000 dollar bill.

And therein lies the next Bitcoin gimmick: Sell fake Bitcoin Bills, and somewhere on the bill it clearly states that it's fake, but provides a link to a Bitcoin facet. All the serial numbers are the same--1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa.

6812  Economy / Speculation / Re: 25k coins bought, $10 jump on: September 01, 2013, 07:56:28 PM
I was having fun with Phinneus' obviously sarcastic (judging by the rolling-eyes smiley) referral to the stock market as if it had anything to do with Bitcoin.

Gage is never sarcastic. You simply can not think on his wave length.

Actually, I brought a new computer and it didn't come with sarcastic tags or a smiley button. Seriously, I've yet to take a screenshot with it because I don't know which button to push without Googling it. It took me a week to figure out the mouse pad--by accident--so that I no longer have to touch the screen to do stuff. Ironically, the main reason for purchasing this damn thing is so that I would have that ability, now I don't use it.

Yes, I was being sarcastic with my two previous posts, insinuating that one could buy high and sell low, but make it up in volume. I figured if it was good enough for The Polish Maverick to remove the zeros from the roulette wheels, the sound advice should carry over to bitcoin investing.

Can you add an answer "No, it did not" in the poll please? Thank you.

You request is currently under review by the fine folks who maintain this thread.

Meanwhile, enjoy the latest of what I hope to be the newest addition to my collection, if you know what I mean.

I couldn't tell how big it was by the images, but could somebody tell me if it's at least six inches long. If it is, where can I buy one two three...
6816  Other / Off-topic / Re: b!z on: September 01, 2013, 01:31:00 PM
Seems simple enough to me; you want him to do something, you should pay him for his time.

It wasn't long ago that I had this little message beneath my avatar: it read, "Why fear hell?  We're already in it."  Someone had messaged me (presumably a religious person but he never said) asking me to change it to something else, because it "isn't good for people to read that" (and wouldn't explain what this meant, either.)  I said to him, I would love to change those words, and all I'm asking for is 1 BTC in return.  He wouldn't bite; he said I should do it for free, despite my own wishes.  I figured, if I was asking for 1 BTC, it should've been clear I didn't want to change it because someone asked, but apparently it wasn't.  I told him to contact me again when he had the coin, and he never messaged me again.  I wound up changing it months later on my own volition.

Anyhoo, there was another point in time where Matthew had asked me to edit my post because he accidentally posted too soon and wanted to change a few bits that I'd stored in my quote.  I think Matt's a pretty cool dude (I don't know why people don't like him but I haven't been around very long so what do I know), and he had purchased my services once before (more like, he donated 1 BTC to me out of the blue, and I felt obliged to make something for him), so I was happy to do that little thing for him, and would do so again.

Point is, if it's really that important, you'll be ready to pay for it to happen; you can't ask favors from people, insult them when they refuse, and then attempt to ridicule them in public for their decision; this is exactly the opposite direction to go in if you ever expect them to go through with that favor, and by now, I don't know if it'll ever happen.  Maybe he'll keep it that way just to spite you; maybe you'll resort to asking mods to take care of the problem after refusing to help the situation yourself.  My advice: apologize, lock the thread, and in time, everybody will forget this ever happened.

In the infamous bit thread, LukeJr once posted something of which I quoted and commented upon. He sent me a PM kindly asking me to delete my post. I couldn't do it fast enough in spite of high tensions at the time.

The BFL ads in this forum nauseate me. I wish I could press an ignore function just not to see them.

Successful ASIC companies don't need to advertise. Good word of mouth (or type) suffice

Not to dis any of the advertisers, but somehow I've been able to not have them register in my mind as I scroll. It's akin to going to a website solely to read the content, ignoring all the ads and popups in place without any effort in doing so. Also, rarely does anybody's advertising in their sigs draws my attention.

2013 Outbreak
On June 28, 2013, CDC was notified of 2 laboratory-confirmed cases of Cyclospora infection in Iowa residents who had become ill in June and did not have a history of international travel during the 14 days before the onset of illness. Since that date, CDC has been collaborating with public health officials in multiple states and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to investigate an outbreak of cyclosporiasis.

My stool has been soft for years, but for the past four days it's been virtually watery, regardless of what I eat. The only other symptom I have is a slight fatigue...oh, and not feeling like jacking off for about the same time frame. I wonder why that's not on the list.

In fact, I'm sittin' on the shitter while typin' this.
