781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TheCryptoChat - Real-Time Chat, Explorers, Faucets, Quick Help, & more on: April 06, 2017, 07:53:49 PM
Do you plan to include more cranes? Can it be worth replacing or removing dried cranes?

We will be adding more faucets. Just tell us which faucet you want to be added. Smiley

The dried faucets would be taken down eventually, we are just contacting devs regarding their willingness to refill the faucets.

Smiley

Hi!

First of all I want to say a big thank you for TCC!
This is a very wonderful service!

Secondly, it would be great to see the following faucets on the site:
808, AsiaCoin, BITB, BTB, BCN, BIOS, BitShares, CRBIT, GRC, GSY, Factom, JWL, MadeSafeCoin, MEME, NODC, OK, OP, ORB, POSW, SAR, Steem, STRB, Ripple, WARP, XHI, XMG, XPY...

Not too much? Grin
Ahaha, not too much was a good add Cheesy
We would love to see all faucets that gives coins that has an exchange on poloinex would be an easier answer. That way if you enable like we can directly deposit to our polo account when we hit the threshold that would be really amazing and we may avoid tx fees too. (maybe seem as greedy wish, but I believe I am reflecting the mindset of typical crypto beginner).
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: April 06, 2017, 07:43:49 PM
I think polo needs to upgrade their servers, without a ddos attack just the organic traffic sometimes kills the site, when there is a bunch of people pump and dumps, they are unreachable. I mean if they are this much in trouble with organic traffic, I don’t know what could happen with an ddos attack.
783  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: April 06, 2017, 07:25:51 PM
Good news dude !
Bitcoin price is recovering little by little .
From 950 $ some hours ago to 1066$ now !
Buy now till it's under 1100$.
 https://blockchain.info/markets
I just wait again for bitcoin drop before buying another one I'm just holding few coins here in my bitcoin wallet waiting for the price to increase more maybe at least 1200 dollars again ? Or more it will lit my income for sure. <3
It sounds like you have trading figured out. I was thinking about doing that myself. The price has already risen quite a bit from 950 to now I believe around 1300 almost.

I am considering trying to trade bitcoin but I am never really sure when I good time to buy is. I know buying and holding is the best and safest way to earn money but it is also the longest. I probably should have bought some bitcoin when it first dropped.
784  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: April 06, 2017, 07:14:55 PM
Just so you guys realize, you are bumping a jan 2016 thread. How this "threat" still deserves a thread is a tad of a mystery.

All you BU/Core/Segwit trolls can relax for a moment and maybe take some time for your school work, or maybe regarding your ass as not a mere tool to sit on while mongering in random fora, but an anatomic feature to move around with.
Couldn't agree more. Extremely well stated mate

Childish diatribes amongst 15yos isn't the most productive incentive to reaffirm the bitcoin community, which I know we all have at heart.

Lets abandon moronic discussions, go back to your little signature campaign economy lol.

Yeah, this thread has been here for quite some time and the crash hasn't happen yet. For sure they'll all go wild if it does crash. They're like shooting a gattling gun from the dark and hope it hits something. When it does hit, these kinds of people will go "I told you so!" Well, I believe bitcoin will not crash anymore from now on.
Yeah his idea is complete trash. You nailed it on the head there with the gattling gun illustration. If you’re gonna say something you should back it up with facts not saying it and hoping everyone believes you. I think abs350 just wants to attract attention to himself. Anyway, we can see that he is wrong because we are already a quarter of the way through 2017 and nothing has happened. In fact, Bitcoin has actually become more valuable and no where it is banned.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin is the sleeping giant on: April 06, 2017, 03:25:49 PM
LTC bagholders always amuse me. Remind me again why do we need LTC?

hehe
I don’t know, I think we need Litecoin as much as we need Bitcoin, Can you make a copy of bitcoin?

Is there a version that is better than bitcoin? Yeah, I think so. But the PR and the marketing is already done and moving. It is also now moving to the segwith position and so on. I think we are keeping LTC alive because we choose to, not because we need to.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Siacoin Epic Monster Moon on: April 06, 2017, 02:16:57 PM
I do not think that is unrealistic in a way that if it keeps going.
I mean any coin that goes until 2025, than it will make it to one dollar, If the core or the community let it go it goes to 1 satoshi each and than dies away, if it is kept alive it goes to one dollar.
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: April 06, 2017, 01:59:26 PM

im going to hold ripple, is the current value is save?

You should buy and hold it 2 weeks ago when price was 800 satoshi or wait 2 week and buy it then.
I don’t know it seems stable so far, the pump and dump has moved on if you ask me, from now on there is only value to be made. The coin itself is not that valuable but the blockchain is amazingly worthy with that many financial firms using it.

With more financial instutions keep using it in the future the value of their blockchain will go up and for some reason the higher value their blockchain is, the higher value their coin gets, technically speaking it shouldn’t but I guess that is why its speculation.
788  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: VirtualPub.io - (Pre-ann until formulas are remade/issues fixed) on: April 05, 2017, 07:19:54 PM
Would you be kind of the explain to us what type of game this is?
I wouldn’t mind supporting a comeback effort, it would show support for the new owner and encourage him to keep going.

I also can’t check the website because it says “go here” and gives the same address and same thing keeps happening so I couldn’t check the game myself so I came here to ask.
789  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Minegate.org? on: April 05, 2017, 05:13:17 PM
According to their replayment calculator here https://www.minegate.org/repayment
We can double our investment within 1 year with their cloud mining  Roll Eyes
This is enough to give red flag to them, mining is not profitable these days and getting over 200% ROI within 1 year is too good to be true.
That is 100% not 200%, 100% of 1 is 2. Still a huge red flag to me tough, you can’t make 100% on mining these days, if they had that chance they would mine for themselves and wouldn’t let us be a part of it.

Many miners do that now, they got enough capital to reinvest on mining equipment and now purely mining for themselves.
790  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: April 05, 2017, 03:17:14 PM
Does anyone know what Hashnest's view is on SegWit (LTC related, not Bitcoin related) ?

Hashnest doesn't mine LTC...

Yes, I know; I'm referring to their LTC pool; I would like to know if their pool is supporting SegWit for the LTC...  Wink

EDIT: I got my answer: They don't support it  Undecided
If they don’t mine LTC I don’t get what you mean by “their LTC Pool”, do you mean to tell me that they don’t mine LTC but have a pool where others can mine LTC?
If thats so that is weird, I would assume every pool owner mines with their pool, first time I heard someone who doesn’t mine on their own pool.
791  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Big wins at FreeBitco.in on: April 05, 2017, 02:43:51 PM
Weird, I understand there is a luck involved in this game and we are lucky to get to the second level let alone the 10000 one and win 200$ but the amount of “newbie” accounts opening up and sharing their $20 sounds so fishy to me.

Wetsuit could be a stand up guy but freebitco.in should seriously consider getting more known people to contribute here otherwise it looks like fishy accounts promoting and spamming ads basically through getting “$20 prize”.
792  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: If you have 10 BTC = Approx $10,000, where would you invest for 1% monthly? on: April 05, 2017, 01:54:33 PM
1% is not that big of a profit monthly to look for risky investments. Here in my country banks gives 13% return and I trust banks more than any bitcoin business out there, bitcoin World had so many scams, banks collapsed before but your savings are as good as anywhere it would be for banks.

If you are looking for 1% low reward with low risk your best bet is banks. If your country is not giving you 1% a month than you can look for trading bots like gunbot and CAT.
793  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: April 05, 2017, 07:44:25 AM
i think the bitcoin's price doesn't related to buying a house, If you want to buy a house , just look at your own financial , you have enough to buy that house ? You really need that house ? Then turn the bitcoin into your currency then buy your own house.
The OP thinks that the price of bitcoin would reach astronomical figures and sure if you are holding a good amount of coins sure you can make a lot of profit and it all depends upon how capable you are in accumulating the coins and if you are smart enough to do so then you could do what ever you want with the coin.
but i think it is not only depending on the price of bitcoin. but there are so many other factors which  enable you to buy a house  wit bitcoin. for example the place value where you want to buy a house and also the area that how much are is holding the hose
It seems to me that you can buy anything for bitcoin, but the main problem is to find a seller who would agree to sell you something for bitcoin or how to convince the owner of a house to sell you for bitcoin. These are the first difficulties, because few people understand what it is crypto currency.
Yeah I agree, the problem with bitcoin right now is that we can’t really find a right way to spend it, like there is no seller that accepts bitcoin, we can’t use it as a normal currency we can’t buy food supplies from shops or anything, the only thing that I found that I can buy with bitcoin are games, the only option that we have right now is exchanging bitcoin to fait and then buying stuff with it, and I hope that changes in the future.
794  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: April 05, 2017, 06:39:26 AM
I would like to know if anyone of you earns 0.1 BTC per week or even more? Is this possible and what is best way to earn it? Your experiences, suggestions and advices are very welcomed.
yes go to tradebot.bid/?pnuts2 you can get upto 150ksats every 5 minutes. have an look and see for yourself.

It will waste his time in collecting few santoshis and it will take even longer to earn 0.1 btc from that method the better way is to build up some capital and invest in altcoins which will give him higher income and that also in short time and it is much better then faucets.
Not really I did it already thats why I suggested it cause you can get you investment back plus more in two days time. But on your note it is good to invest in altcoins and stake them to accumulate more to really increase your net worth. Thanks for your added info. PS. If you check the site out you will see its basically automatic. You push start let it run then withdraw even the least plan is .03btc which you collect 50ksats evry 20minutes for 30days. well over .03 back in basically 20hrs so have a look.
Well as it is good for new users faucets are really not worth, spending hours trying to get throw them and entering captchas is very exhausting and very time consuming.

I mean if you can keep that for a couple of days without going crazy than go ahead, we all have been there but we going feed up of going throw them, and altcoin market right now is going up so there is potential profit from it, think of putting an hour a day to make the same as spending 20hours  going throw faucets.
795  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: April 05, 2017, 06:07:59 AM
It is related to the economy and currency flows just like everything, some of the money in bitcoin is borrowed or possibly used elsewhere.    If debts start having to be paid sooner rather then later, it withdraws the price of everything like the tide going out.

The policy we see in effect at present sides with inflation and loose debt standards.   Interest rates are below inflation and appear to be doing similar for some time to come.   Bitcoin price would go down if interest rates rose above inflation or if government started repaying debt but they are constantly spending too much and are very biased to enabling that spending to continue.
I think what is happening is the current market is working on demand and satisfying, the people who owns a large portion of bitcoin like the ones who started using bitcoin a long time and got it for a really cheap price, when they like the current price they sell and the price goes down, and when that happens people stop and start saving and then the price goes up again, so the price is always between up and down.
796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: April 05, 2017, 02:29:13 AM
We are now experiencing the efficient, fast and amazing convergence of technologies which one way or the other greatly contributing to the rise of the cryptocurrencies and making Bitcoin as the King of the Hill so far.

Looking into the future...what do you think will be the scenario involving Bitcoin twenty years from now? Will Bitcoin be worth more than a million or will it ceased to exist? Or will a new crytocurrency replace the supremacy of Bitcoin...?

It's hard to comment on the future. It's a bit difficult to make estimates, especially for technology-related issues. Because there's always something new going on. We are consuming technological innovations very quickly.

But in my opinion, bitcoin will start to be used more. At the same time bitconin will increase in value.
yes it is not such an easy job to predict about the future of bitcoin. i think the future of bitcoin is too much bright therefore we can expect that in future even in 20 years the future of bitcoin will remain bright and hope that the price of bitcoin will be trading high and high.
There is no doubt about the price, the only thing for sure is that the price of the bitcoin is going to be much higher 20 years from now unless the world bans it from use than it will be worthless.

The only thing that I hope for in the future is that the developers work on taking bitcoin to the next level by making transaction less slow and implementing it in all the shops of the world so it gets more and more popular.
797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trying the new Bitcoin ATM near my house on: April 04, 2017, 04:09:40 PM
I have few Bitcoin ATMs in area where I live and work. But I have never tried them because I just don't have that habit to use them. It's much more convenient to me that I buy or sell my coins online, on localbitcoins. But it's good to have ATM option and I think that can contribute to popularity of Bitcoins.
I also don’t use the bitcoin ATM that much even they are scattered all around the city because they take more fees than the online peer to peer exchange platforms, I really think that ATM bitcoin machine are kind of too early to actually start using them because there is still many people who don’t actually use bitcoin in their business as a payment method.
798  Economy / Economics / Re: How a cashless society could kill Bitcoin. on: April 04, 2017, 03:51:22 PM
To address the original point on its own terms (i.e. the idea that if the government ends cash, there will be no anonymity in trading Bitcoin:)

We can take a lesson from major events in history.  During the postwar Bretton Woods period, Western countries had free trade with each other, but there were tight capital controls (to keep exchange rates constant.)  So an American could buy German goods, but couldn't buy German currency (marks) or bonds, for example.

What import/export traders did was to build personal relationships, and then, say, sell something worth $20,000 at the price of $25,000.  The extra $5000 the American paid was used by his German friend to buy German marks for him. (The German could legally exchange all the dollars he got for marks, as part of the free trade system.)  And they would of course do this for themselves as well as wealthy people trying to bypass the capital controls.

The same thing has been happening with China.  So China's attempts to control capital flight is also leaky.  And I'm pretty sure many poor countries who trade with the West would love to stop their citizens from buying dollars and euros with their own currencies, but can't, because an importer can legally buy just a little more dollars than is really needed, after his American exporter friend increases the invoice price a little.

Take this to the personal level -- when all money is electronic, I pay my friend the shopkeeper $25 to buy something really worth $20.  For the extra $5, my friend will move some Bitcoin from an (already anonymous) Bitcoin address to my own anonymous address.  Thus, a market and price system for Bitcoin is born.

(This is a big topic in monetary economics.  The economists have basically concluded that 'if countries open up their current accounts, it's impossible to keep their capital accounts closed for long.')
So what I think if the world stops using cash and go back to the old days just like you said, is that everyone will race to get as much as the y can with any way possible to get the current way to pay for things just to dominate the world and become the most powerful, and that is going to create a conflict which will lead to war, kind of what is happening to oil right now, countries rush to get as much as they can from it.
799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: April 04, 2017, 03:17:20 PM
The match between Celta Vigo vs Las Palmas showing interesting analysis so we expect for an entertaining result. I feel both teams to score will be good pick to take risk on this for fun because it will be worth to it.
Even tough in football we can’t know the score definetly and it is all luck Celta Vigo and Las Palmas both had scored 40+ times which is more than 4-5 teams ahead of them and scored on 40+ times which is more than teams under them so we can clearly see that both of them have a lot of scoring and getting scored, high offense and low defense ratings. Which means both teams scoring is a reasonable expectation.
800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If today was your last day, would you gamble everything? on: April 04, 2017, 01:43:28 PM
If today was indeed my last day, I wouldn't bet anyone at all, I would rather spend my money eating as much as i can, having fun and spending time with family and loved ones. After that i write my will and leave some money for my funeral and family.

That is what must be done if we know our last day. Gambling on the last day of our life is very crazy. There will be no sane person who did it. Spending time with family and loved ones is the best way to enjoy our last day. That could give the impression of the last and best for the people closest to us.
Yes and gambling is a source of income, it's like will I go to my job if I know know its my last day ?

Obviously not then why would I gamble if it's my last day. I don't know if anyone has too much fun with gambling but personally I never had any fun with it and nor I would ever had, the moment I see gambling has no potential profits I would stop right away.
