As you paid with your balance, you also have no option to claim the payment back by the creditcard company or the bank.

I'd like to be able to partially close a position. Slipage is too huge on large position...
Any way to do this without opening several account?

Not sure what you mean.
You can either sell a small portion in "Margin Trade", or close individual loans at "Lending"?

Ente
Ok I tried closing some loans but maybe I wasn't patient an off. Will try selling too.

EDIT: Selling work like a charm. Can't believe how much money I wasted with slippage.

Look like it was variance or a very short burnin test.

785  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: August 06, 2013, 12:50:48 PM
that's not a avatrade chart. I have been using them since they offered bitcoin trading, and I'm doing pretty well.

Is Ava's underlying instrument MtGox's / Bitstamp's / other's BTCUSD?
No it's a CFD. Bitcoin on paper.

787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gox Litecoin Update: "We're looking forward to the rollout" but not sure when. on: August 06, 2013, 12:43:46 PM
So instead of doing this at first they lead people on to think something will happen by a certain date and then fail to deliver.

Typical Gox.  Tongue

Ohh, this is Gox thread ... I thought it is about BFL.  Grin

I found myself today actually typing "BFL" thinking I was typing "GOX" in a discussion about GOX in another thread.  Sounds like they operate on the same principles: DELAYS and EXCUSES.
At least they don't give a new time estimate every 2 weeks™. Now there is no estimate_lol™.

Within 24 hours of the first facebook announcement, huge sell walls started slamming LTC on Btc-e.  And they continued consistently for over a week.  And yet, LTC was 'officially' slated to be traded on Mtgox...so why would whales sell so aggressively?  I leave it up to you to speculate what was going on...
Kids clicking mouse button. (In reality more like speculators speculating a sell off)
789  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: August 06, 2013, 03:27:28 AM
I think one of the wall at 105 is pulled.

1. Broker AvaTrade started offering Bitcoin CFD at 5:1 leverage (probably the highest at the moment - not sure about this though). Anyone knows the spreads? Why the heck only 5 days a week instead of 7 days a week trading is possible http://www.avatrade.com/trading-info/range-of-markets/bitcoin

2. You can use MT4 for charting and trading (if you are not tired of it), but most importantly you can use this http://www.multicharts.com/ for charting and trading.
1broker offer 5:1 leverage but limit is low. 40BTC max.

I take a guess and say it might be one of the fan that is loose and hitting the case.

796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Casascius' Physical Bitcoins Cracked at Defcon on: August 05, 2013, 02:26:59 PM
From the OP:

The truly unfortunate news is that all existing Casascius coins should now be considered compromised unless purchased directly from Casascius himself.

Really?  Can't anyone who bought coins from third parties simply verify their coins' balances on Block Explorer?  And if you're buying one from a third party, verify the balance before you buy it.
Balance don't tell if the private key was compromised for later use.
797  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 100 TH/s jump today on: August 05, 2013, 02:10:14 PM
Probably only variance. The estimate is based on number of new block found in a given timeframe and might be biased if the network was lucky as a whole.
798  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 100 TH/s jump today on: August 05, 2013, 01:38:53 PM
At first I tough maybe Blockchain.info was not reliable but then I was like wtf!? Maybe only variance, we will now for sure in a couple of days.

In any case, wouldn't it be possible to build it right into the browser? I mean, everything in the browser, all plug-ins, etc... would either not work, or would have to go through tor. Thatd be much more convenient than having to completely re-boot into an entirely different OS just to use tor.
You don't need to reboot anything. It's working with 2 virtual machine on top of your actual OS.

Or something like this: http://learn.adafruit.com/onion-pi/overview
Very nice I might try to build one.

I just read TOR was broken. Is it still any point using it?
Biggest hosting provider for hidden service arrested != Tor is broken
