1742  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Do I Use My PGP Public Key to Send and Receive e-mails? on: January 14, 2013, 03:06:04 PM
Sorry the name for the Thunderbird add-on I'm using is Enigmail: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/enigmail/

Quote
Enigmail adds OpenPGP message encryption and authentication to your email client. It features automatic encryption, decryption and integrated key management functionality. Enigmail requires GnuPG (www.gnupg.org) for the cryptographic functions. Note: GnuPG is not part of the installation.
The addon offered here supports Windows, Linux (32 and 64-bit) and Mac OS X. Versions for more platforms are available from the homepage.

I use Thunderbird and OpenPGP add-on. Everything is automated, you can even add existing keys.

Some people seems to dislike poker players. Most of the time they are fish at life and at the table. It's even more hilarious when they fail to understand that it's possible to be a winner on the long run yet complain when they see people calling Bitcoin a scam or whatever.

Isn't this the week they deliver?

I made it so you can generate key circles with Minikeys, regular keys, or two-factor Encrypted Private Keys.

According to the comments, Bitcoin Wallet Balance is pretty useless. Thoughts?
That's only an address watcher. Great if you don't want to import the private key on your phone I guess...

Nice ASIC empty case.

It's not empty. Please dont forget the 30000 $ Nexus 7.
Hilarious. This must be the most expensive Android phone on earth.
1749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Canadian Interac e-Transfer safe? on: January 13, 2013, 07:07:46 PM
I found this on https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Payment_methods

A funds transfer service between personal and business accounts at participating
Canadian financial institutions. In cases of identity theft the transfer may be reversed, especially if both parties are with the same financial institution[4].

Anyway, I will contact my bank this week for more information.

Or you could go to the cavertix website and read their reason for not taking them anymore. That being the high rate of charge back scams with them.
Thanks this is exactly what I was looking for.

Can I send you an e-Interac e-mail money transfer?

No, but we do send e-Interac e-mail money transfers out to you if you want to withdraw Canadian funds. You do not have to be verified to 'cash-out' with this method. E-mail money transfers ARE reversible but since we are the trusted party we will never reverse one once we send to you. We warn you that accepting EMT's for private sales can be reversed and should not be considered secured funds if you do not know the sender.

I do not have my cell phone with me but I had two that I checked constantly.

One was a Bitcoin price app and another had Bitcoin news. Basically an rss feed from somewhere.
I've found Bitcoin News on this website: http://www.appszoom.com/android_applications/news_and_weather/bitcoin-news_bepnb.html

I don't know this site. Is-it safe? Original related thread link is invalid.

I think Strike Sapphire has a casino app.

Also, Seals with Clubs has a poker app in the works.

I think online poker is a great way to introduce people to bitcoin.  Especially all the free giveaway games to try out.
Do I need to open an account at StrikeSapphire to see their apps? I will add SealWithClubs once they are done.

I enjoy those show too. Especially the one about UFO, big brother and economic. I'm listening to the show on Youtube since I'm too far away from the US.
